1U-Pb zircon dating constraints on formation time of Qilian high-grade metamorphic rock and its tectonic implications显示文摘In order to constrain the formation time of high-grade metamorphic rocks in the Qilian Mountains, U-Pb zircon dating was carried out by using LA-ICPMS technique for a paragneiss of the Hualong Group in the Qilian Mountains basement series and a weakly foliated granite that intruds into the Hualong Group. Zircons from the paragneiss consist dominantly of detrital magma zircons with round or sub-round shape. They have 207Pb/206Pb ages mostly ranging from 880 to 900 Ma, with a weighted mean age of 891 ±9 Ma, which is interpreted as the magma crystallization age of its igneous provenance and can be taken as a lower age limit for the Hualong Group. Magma crystallization age for the weak-foliated granite is 875±8 Ma, which can be taken as an upper age limit for the Hualong Group. Accordingly, the formation time of the Hualong Group is constrained at sometime between 875 and 891 Ma. A few zir- cons from both paragneiss and weak-foliated granite display old inherited ages of 1000 to 1700 Ma and young metamorphic ages of Early Paleozoic. The zircon age distribution pattern confirms that the Qilian Mountains and the northern margin of Qaidam Basin had a united basement, with geotectonic affinity to the Yangtze Block. The results also reveal that sediments of the Hualong Group formed by rapid accumulation due to rapid crustal uplift-erosion. 2Advances on strategies for searching for next generation thermal barrier coating materials显示文摘Thermal barrier coating(TBC) materials play important roles in gas turbine engines to protect the Nibased super-alloys from the high temperature airflow damage. High melting point, ultra-low thermal conductivity, large thermal expansion coefficient, excellent damage tolerance and moderate mechanical properties are the main requirements of promising TBC materials. In order to improve the efficiency of jet and/or gas turbine engines, which is the key of improved thrust-to-weight ratios and the energysaving, significant efforts have been made on searching for enhanced TBC materials. Theoretically, density functional theory has been successfully used in scanning the structure and properties of materials, and at the same time predicting the mechanical and thermal properties of promising TBC materials for high and ultrahigh temperature applications, which are validated by subsequent experiments. Experimentally,doping and/or alloying are also widely applied to further decrease their thermal conductivities. Now, the strategy through combining theoretical calculations and experiments on searching for next generation thermal insulator materials is widely adopted. 3SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating for lamprophyre from Liaodong Peninsula: Constraints on the initial time of Mesozoic lithosphere thinning beneath eastern China显示文摘It is undebated fact that the lithospheric mantle beneath eastern China was considerably thinned during the Mesozoic time. However, it has no adequate evidence for the exact timing when the lithosphere thinning started. The Liaodong Peninsula is located in the eastern segment of the North China Craton and is one of the important domains to explore the event of lithosphere thinning. SHRIMP U-Pb zircon dating and geochemical study were carried out for the lamprophyre dike swarm that intruded into the magnesite ore-beds in the Dashiqiao Formation of Paleoproterozoic Liaohe Group at the Huaziyu magnesite ore district, Liaodong Peninsula. The results indicate that these lampro- phyre dikes were intruded in late Jurassic (155±4 Ma) and show some geochemical characteristics of potassic magmas. It is now accepted that the lithosphere thinning took place in the late Mesozoic, and the peak thinning stage occurred in early Cretaceous (130―120 Ma). 4Tongue coating microbiome as a potential biomarker for gastritis including precancerous cascade显示文摘The development of gastritis is associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer. Current invasive gastritis diagnostic methods are not suitable for monitoring progressIn this work based on 78 gastritis patients and 50 healthy individuals, we observed that the variation of tongue-coating microbiota was associated with the occurrenee and development of gastritis. Twenty-one microbial species were identified for differentiating tongue-coating microbiomes of gastritis and healthy individuals. Pathways such as microbial metabolism in diverse environments, biosynthesis of antibiotics and bacterial chemotaxis were up-regulated in gastritis patients. The abundance of Campylobacter concisus was found associated with the gastric precancerous cascade. Furthermore, Campylobacter concisus could be detected in tongue coating and gastric fluid in a validation cohort containing 38 gastritis patients. 5Tectonic Evolution of the Meso-Tethys in the Western Segment of Bangonghu-Nujiang Suture Zone: Insights from Geochemistry and Geochronology of the Lagkor Tso Ophiolite显示文摘The subduction of the Bangonghu-Nujiang Meso-Tethys and the collision between the Lhasa and Qiangtang blocks were important events in the growth of the Tibetan crust. However,the timing of collision initiation and closure timing,as well as nature and structure of the Bangonghu ocean basin,are still poorly constrained. The Lagkor Tso ophiolite,located in the south of Gerze County,Tibet,is one of the most completed ophiolites preserved in the southern side of the BangonghuNujiang suture zone. This study discussed the tectonic evolution of the Bangonghu-Nujiang suture zone as revealed by the Lagkor Tso ophiolite investigated by field investigations,petrology,geochemistry,geochronology and tectonic analysis methods. We present new LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb and 39Ar/40 Ar ages for the Lagkor Tso ophiolite,in addition to geochemical and platinum-group element(PGE) data presented for the Lagkor Tso ophiolite in Tibet. It is suggested that the ancient Lagkor Tso oceanic basin split in Middle Jurassic(161.2 ± 2.7 Ma – 165.4 ± 3.5 Ma),and experienced a second tectonic emplacement during the Early Cretaceous(137.90 ± 6.39 Ma). The Lagkor Tso ophiolite likely developed in an independent suture zone. The Bangonghu-Nujiang ocean subducted southwards,and the dehydration of the subducting oceanic crust materials caused partial melting of the continental mantle wedge,which formed the second-order expanding center of the obduction dish. This led to inter-arc expansion,followed by the formation of inter-arc and back-arc basins with island arc features,which are represented by ophiolites around the Shiquanhe-Lagkor Tso-Yongzhu region. 6A Study of Sr, Nd and O Isotopes of the K-rich Melanocratic Dykes in the Late Mesozoic Gold Field in the Jiaodong Peninsula显示文摘Geologic, petrographic and petrochemical studies of the lateMesozoic K-rich melanocratic dykes, including lamprophyres, andesite porphyrites and dacite-porphyry in the gold field system in the Jiaodong Peninsula, China, have shown that these dykes are characterized by rich potassium and alkali but poor titanium. They belong to an ultra-high potassic, shoshonitic and high potassic calc-alkaline rock series. The parental magma has relatively high initial strontium ratios ((87Sr/86Sr)i-0.70895-0.71140) and low (143Nd/144Nd)i ratios (varying from 0.51135 to 0.51231); and its δ18OsMow. whole rock values vary from +5.8‰ to +10.6‰ with a mean of +7.1‰. These features suggest that the source region of the magma is an enriched mantle wedge transformed from a continental lithosphere mantle which has experienced me tasomatism by mantle-derived fluids with H2O-dominated fluids that were provided during the underthrusting of an ocean crust. The initial magma was generated by low-degree partial melting of the enriched mantle in its mature stage in the back-arc spreading environment. The evolution of magmas is associated with two trends, i.e., fractional crystallization and mixing with or intensive contamination by palaeo-crust materials or metamorphic rocks. The former process is evident in the gold field system of quartz-vein type, whereas the latter is dominated in the gold field system of the altered-rock type. 9Commissioning progress of the FAST显示文摘The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) was completed with its main structure installed on September 25, 2016, after which it entered the commissioning phase. This paper aims to introduce the commissioning progress of the FAST over the past two years. To improve its operational reliability and ensure effective observation time, FAST has been equipped with a real-time information system for the active reflector system and hierarchical commissioning scheme for the feed support system, which ultimately achieves safe operation of the two systems. For meeting the high-performance indices, a highprecision measurement system was set up based on the effective control methods that were implemented for the active reflector system and feed support system. Since the commissioning of the FAST, a low-frequency ultra-wideband receiver and 19-beam1.05-1.45 GHz receiver have been mainly used. Telescope efficiency, pointing accuracy, and system noise temperature were completely tested and ultimately achieved the acceptance indices of the telescope. The FAST has been in the process of national acceptance preparations and has begun to search for pulsars. 10Hydraulic operating mechanisms for high voltage circuit breakers: Progress evolution and future trends显示文摘High voltage circuit breakers are the most important protection and control apparatus in power system. As a core part of circuit breakers,the operating mechanisms have a trend to be hydraulic-style in high voltage power grid. Compared with other hydraulic systems,the hydraulic operating mechanisms have the characteristics of high hydraulic pressure,high speed,high power and long-term waiting etc.,and it is because of the characteristics that the hydraulic operating mechanisms become difficult to be developed and have been arousing significant study interest from more and more researchers as well as their promising applications. Therefore,it is significant to summarize the hydraulic operating mechanisms on their development,characteristics,and key technologies etc. In this review,the evolution process and recent studies of hydraulic operating mechanisms at home and abroad are viewed. 11Timing of hydrothermal activity associated with the Douzhashan uranium-bearing granite and its significance for uranium mineralization in northeastern Guangxi, China显示文摘The Miaoershan uranium(U)ore field in northeastern Guangxi is one of the important granite-related U deposits in south China and is closely related to the Douzhashan U-bearing granite.The Douzhashan granite contains primary U-rich accessory minerals,including monazite(UO2=0.98-1.75 wt%)and xenotime(UO2=1.48-6.14 wt%).Primary monazite and xenotime yield chemical ages of 231±28 Ma and 230±38 Ma by electron microprobe analysis and U-Pb isotopic ages of 220±6 Ma and 211±7 Ma by laser ablation-inductively coupled-mass spectrometry respectively.These ages demonstrate that the Douzhashan granite formed during the period of Indosinian magmatic activity.Back scattered electron imaging shows that monazite and xenotime are commonly altered to assemblages of low-U synchisite and apatite,which was associated with loss of U to hydrothermal fluids.U-Th-Pb analyses of secondary apatite yielded a chemical age of 136±17 Ma,which corresponds to the timing of Cretaceous-Tertiary crustal extension in south China.We suggest that the heat and CO2required for mineralization was the result of Yanshanian crustal extension,and that this triggered the breakdown of U-rich accessory minerals in the Douzhashan U-bearing granite.Uranium remobilization from the Douzhashan granite provided materials for mineralization within the granite and/or surrounding country rocks.Therefore,a combination of Indosinian compression and Yanshanian extensional overprint produced the hydrothermal U deposits associated with the Douzhashan granite.HU Huan WANG RuCheng CHEN WeiFeng CHEN PeiRong LING HongFei LIU GuoNing 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34:10

13New index of ferromanganese crusts reflecting oceanic environmental oxidation显示文摘Ferromanganese crusts (hereinafter crusts) form in aerobic environment and the environmental oxida-tion degree is recorded by the redox sensitive element Co in the crusts. The ages of the layers from the surface to bottom of the crusts are determined, and main element contents at high resolution along the depth sections of three crusts from the Pacific Ocean are analyzed by an electron microprobe. Thus the variations of Co/(Fe+Mn) and Co/(Ni+Cu) with age/depth of the crust layers are obtained. By comparing the ratios of Co/(Fe+Mn) and Co/(Ni+Cu) with the δ 18O curves of the Pacific benthic foraminifera, we find that these two ratios can reflect the variation of the environmental oxidation state under which the crust layers deposit. The evolution of the oxidation degree reflected by the two indexes resembles the evo-lution of temperature since the Oligocene reflected by the δ 18O curves of the Pacific benthic foraminif-era. This suggests that the crust-forming environment after the Oligocene is controlled mainly by the oxygen-rich bottom water originated from the Antarctic bottom water (AABW). However it is not the case prior to the Oligocene. Furthermore it suggests that the environmental oxidation degree controls the formation of the crusts and the Co contents in the crusts. 15Betulinic acid induces apoptosis of gallbladder cancer cells via repressing SCD1显示文摘Gallbladder cancer(GBC)is the most common and aggressive malignancy of the biliary tract.Betulinic acid(BetA)has been reported to have anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects;however,the effect of BetA on GBC is still unknown.In this study,we investigated the effect of BetA on five GBC cell lines and found that BetA significantly inhibited the proliferation of NOZ cells but had lttle inhibitory effect on other GBC cells.BetA disturbed mitochondrial membrane potential and induced apoptosis in NOZ cells.Real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis revealed that stearoyl-coenzyme A desaturase 1(SCD1)was highly expressed in NOZ cells but low expressed in other GBC cells.BetA inhibited SCD1 expression in a concentration-dependent manner in NOZ cells.Downregulation of SCD1 expression by RNA interference inhibited the proliferation of NOZ cells and induced cell apoptosis.Moreover,BetA inhibited the growth of xenografted tumors and suppressed SCD1 expression in nude mice.Thus,our results showed that BetA induced apoptosis through repressing SCD1 expression in GBC,suggesting that BetA might be an effective agent for the treatment of patients with GBC that highly expresses SCD1.Hongfei Wang Fangxiao Dong Ye Wang Xu'an Wang Defei Hong Yingbin Liu Jian Zhou 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,2:6
16Rapid identification of chemical profile in Gandou decoction by UPLCQ-TOF-MSE coupled with novel informatics UNIFI platform显示文摘Gandou decoction(GDD),a well-known traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)formula,has been widely used for decades to treat Wilson's disease(WD)in China due to its remarkable clinical effects.However,the chemical constituents of GDD still remain unclear because of their complexity.In this work,a reliable and sensitive strategy based on ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MSE)and UNIFI informatics platform was applied to investigate the chemical components in GDD.In total,96 compounds including anthraquinones,alkaloids,protostane triterpenoids,flavonoids,triterpenoid saponins,tannins,curcuminoids,etc,were identified or tentatively characterized from GDD by comparing their retention time,accurate mass within 5 ppm error and MSE fragmentation patterns.Among them,eleven compounds were confirmed unambiguously with reference standards.Representative compounds in different chemical structure types were analyzed in fragmentation patterns and characteristic ions.Moreover,to better understand the chemical contribution of individual herbs to the whole decoction,the corresponding each herb in GDD was also detected.This study developed a rapid method for characterizing the chemical constituents in GDD,which could not only be used for chemical standardization and quality control,but also be helpful for further research of GDD in vivo.Li Xu Yi Liu Hongfei Wu Huan Wu Xiaochuang Liu An Zhou 2020Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2020,10,1:6
17Homogeneous bottom-growth of lithium metal anode enabled by double-gradient lithiophilic skeleton显示文摘Lithium(Li) metal is considered as the most promising anode material for the next-generation high performance Li batteries.However,the uncontrollable dendritic growth impedes its commercial application.Herein,we design a 3 D Si@carbon nanofibers(CNFs)@ZnO-ZnO-Cu skeleton(SCZ) for guiding the homogeneous bottom-growth of Li metal.The top LixSi@CNFs and bottom LiyZn@CNFs layers could form conductivity and overpotential gradient to avoid the 'top-growth' of Li metal.Moreover,the top lithiophilic LixSi@CNFs layer could regulate the nucleation and deposition of Li-ions even if the lithium dendrites grow out of the skeleton under high capacity Li deposition(30 mAh cm^(-2)).As a result,the SCZ-Li||LiFePO_(4) full cell delivers a high capacity of ~104 mAh g^(-1)(~94.82% capacity retention) after 2000 cycles at 5 C, elucidating the potential application of the 3 D double-gradient Li metal composite anode.Li Zhang Hongfei Zheng Ben Liu Qingshui Xie Qiulin Chen Liang Lin Jie Lin Baihua Qu Laisen Wang Dong-Liang Peng 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:5
18Controlled growth and photoconductive properties of hexagonal SnS2 nanoflakes with mesa-shaped atomic steps显示文摘We demonstrated the controlled growth of two-dimensional (2D) hexagonal tin disulfide (SnS2) nanoflakes with stacked monolayer atomic steps. The morphology was similar to flat-topped and step-sided mesa plateaus or step pyramids. The SnS2 nanoflakes were grown on mica substrates via an atmospheric-pressure chemical vapor deposition process using tin monosulfide and sulfur powder as precursors. Atomic force microscopy (AFM), electron microscopy, and Raman characterizations were performed to investigate the structural features, and a sequential layer-wise epitaxial growth mechanism was revealed. In addition, systematic Raman characterizations were performed on individual SnS2 nanoflakes with a wide range of thicknesses (1-100 nm), indicating that the A1g peak intensity and Raman shifts were closely related to the thickness of the SnS2 nanoflakes. Moreover, photoconductive AFM was performed on the monolayer-stepped SnS2 nanoflakes, revealing that the flat surface and the edges of the SnS2 atomic steps had different electrical conductive properties and photoconductive behaviors. This is ascribed to the dangling bonds and defects at the atomic step edges, which caused a height difference of the Schottky barriers formed at the interfaces between the PtIr-coated AFM tip and the step edges or the flat surface of the SnS2 nanoflakes. 19Geochronology and Geochemistry of the Late Cretaceous to Paleocene Intrusions in East Gangdese,Lhasa,Tibet and Their Tectonic Significances显示文摘In this study,we determined the granite ages in the middle to east Gangdese batholith. Zircon ages from these granites are 57.6–68.7 Ma,indicating that intrusions were formed in the Late Cretaceous to early Paleocene. The large-ion lithophile elements are highly enriched,whereas some high-field-strength elements are depleted. The Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic characteristics are similar to those of the Dianzhong volcanics in the Linzhou Basin,indicating the same origin and tectonic environment. The samples show positive εHf(t) values that are slightly lower than the values for the Linzizong volcanics,the Quxu intrusion,and other intrusions in middle Gangdese. We conclude that our samples,the Linzizong volcanics,and most main-collisional intrusions are derived from the same source with different ratios of crust and mantle input. On the basis of geological,geochemical,geochronological,and isotopic information,we conclude that the Late Cretaceous to Paleogene evolution of Gangdese can be divided into three stages. First,the collision began at 70–60 Ma,the same time as rollback of the Tethys Ocean slab. Second,during 60–50 Ma,slab breakoff triggered upwelling of the asthenosphere.
