1Indoor Allergen Levels and Household Distributions in Nine Cities Across China显示文摘Objective Chinese allergic subjects have high levels of sensitization to house dust mite(HDM) and other indoor allergens. This study quantifies common indoor allergen levels in Chinese households. Methods Dust samples were collected from nine cities. Major allergens Der p 1 and Der f 1 from Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and D. farinae, and specific antigens of Blomia tropicalis, Tyrophagus putrescentiae, Acarus siro, and cockroach species Blattella germanica and Periplaneta americana were measured by ELISA. Results HDM allergens were found in dust samples from bedding in 95% of the Chinese households. The median levels varied from <0.006 to 9.2 μg/g of dust, depending on the city. The percentages of households having HDM allergen levels associated with the risk of developing allergy sensitization and asthma were 65% and 25%, respectively. Specific antigens of the storage mite and cockroach were only found in samples from the southern and tropical regions of China. Levels of mite allergens were generally higher in samples from bedding compared to samples from the living room, even for storage mites, whereas levels of cockroach antigens were higher in the living room samples. Conclusion HDM allergens are present in bedding dust samples from most Chinese households. Cities in southern and central China have relatively high levels of HDM major allergens compared to cities in northern and western China. 2Development and Validation of a Model for Predicting Diabetic Nephropathy in Chinese People显示文摘Objective To develop a risk model for predicting later development of diabetic nephropathy(DN)in Chinese people with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)and evaluate its performance with independent validation.Methods We used data collected from the project‘Comprehensive Research on the Prevention and Control of Diabetes’,which was a community-based study conducted by the Jiangsu Center for Disease Control and Prevention in 2013.A total of 11,771 eligible participants were included in our study.The endpoint was a clear diagnosis of DN.Data was divided into two components:a training set for model development and a test set for validation.The Cox proportional hazard regression was used for survival analysis in men and women.The model’s performance was evaluated by discrimination and calibration.Results The incidence(cases per 10,000 person-years)of DN was 9.95(95%CI;8.66-11.43)in women and 11.28(95%CI;9.77-13.03)in men.Factors including diagnosis age,location,body mass index,high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol,creatinine,hypertension,dyslipidemia,retinopathy,diet control,and physical activity were significant in the final model.The model showed high discrimination and good calibration.Conclusion The risk model for predicting DN in people with T2DM can be used in clinical practice for improving the quality of risk management and intervention.MIAO Dan Dan PAN En Chun ZHANG Qin SUN Zhong Ming QIN Yu WU Ming 2017Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2017,30,2:8

5Pericardial devascularization combined with preservation of Latarjet's nerves trunk in treatment of patients with portal hypertension显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of perieardial devascularization combined with preservation ofLatarjet’s innervation on portal hypertension.METHODS: Sixty-two patients (57 men and 5 women) have been undergone pericardialdevascularization combined with Latarjet’s innervation since 1984. Clinical results and postoperativecomplications were evaluated.RESULTS: The incidence of upper-digestive tract bleeding was 3.2% (2 patients) within 1 month afteroperation. Four patients (6.5%) died within 1 month atier operation (3 patients received emergencyoperation and 1 selective operation). Among them, 3 patients died from hepatic failure, and one patientfrom sepsis due to subphrentic infection. Among these deaths, 3 were evaluated Child’s C. Xueshan Township,Luquan Yi and Miao Autonomous County of Yunnan Province,located in the alpine valley of Jinsha River,is a major township with wide and deep poverty,and the incidence of poverty is up to 45. 00%. In recent years,Xueshan Township has insisted on the battle against poverty,made effort to develop the Codonopsis pilosula industry,and successfully developed a road to poverty alleviation through C. pilosula industry,and formed a unique industrial poverty alleviation model by the end of 2018,the incidence of poverty dropped to 0. 74%. 10Building Osteogenic Microenvironments with a Double-Network Composite Hydrogel for Bone Repair显示文摘The critical factor determining the in vivo effect of bone repair materials is the microenvironment,which greatly depends on their abilities to promote vascularization and bone formation.However,implant materials are far from ideal candidates for guiding bone regeneration due to their deficient angiogenic and osteogenic microenvironments.Herein,a double-network composite hydrogel combining vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)-mimetic peptide with hydroxyapatite(HA)precursor was developed to build an osteogenic microenvironment for bone repair.The hydrogel was prepared by mixing acrylatedβ-cyclodextrins and octacalcium phosphate(OCP),an HA precursor,with gelatin solution,followed by ultraviolet photo-crosslinking.To improve the angiogenic potential of the hydrogel,QK,a VEGF-mimicking peptide,was loaded in acrylatedβ-cyclodextrins.The QK-loaded hydrogel promoted tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells and upregulated the expression of angiogenesis-related genes,such as Flt1,Kdr,and VEGF,in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.Moreover,QK could recruit bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells.Furthermore,OCP in the composite hydrogel could be transformed into HA and release calcium ions facilitating bone regeneration.The double-network composite hydrogel integrated QK and OCP showed obvious osteoinductive activity.The results of animal experiments showed that the composite hydrogel enhanced bone regeneration in skull defects of rats,due to perfect synergistic effects of QK and OCP on vascularized bone regeneration.In summary,improving the angiogenic and osteogenic microenvironments by our double-network composite hydrogel shows promising prospects for bone repair.Jiaying Li Jinjin Ma Qian Feng En Xie Qingchen Meng Wenmiao Shu Junxi Wu Liming Bian Fengxuan Han Bin Li 2023Research2023,,3:3
11Emission Characteristics of VOCs from Automobile Coating Industry in Chongqing City显示文摘To fully analyze emission characteristics of volatile organic compounds( VOCs) from automobile coating industry in Chongqing City,related enterprises in the city were investigated in detail. The results show that the emission of VOCs from the automobile industry in Chongqing City was approximately 20 000 t in 2012,and the contribution rate of automobile coating was 83%. Most VOCs discharged from automobile coating industry were mainly from the use of coatings,diluents,curing agents and other materials containing VOCs. During the process of automobile coating,VOCs were mainly produced during the processes of spraying and drying. Besides,VOCs are partly produced during the processes of mixing paint,gluing,waxing,and repairing. The major ingredients of VOCs discharged during the process of automobile coating were methylbenzene,dimethylbenzene,trimethylbenzene,cumene,ethyl acetate,butyl alcohol,n-butyl alcohol,isobutyl alcohol,formaldehyde,butanone,acetone,cyclohexanone,and methyl ethyl ketone. Besides,the ingredients of naphtha and aromatic hydrocarbon in VOCs need to be determined. The maximum ozone formation potential( OFP) of the above pollutants by the typical enterprises was 900-1 300 mg/m^3. The production of secondary organic aerosol( SOA) was 3 636-11 073 t/a,which didn't include the contribution of aldehydes,ketones,ethers and esters to SOA. 12Prevention of Osteopenia and Dyslipidemia in Rats after Ovariectomy with Combined Aspirin and Low-dose Diethylstilbestrol显示文摘Objective To study whether effect of aspirin plus low-dose diethylstilbestrol is more effective and safer than high diethylstilbestrol dose alone on prevention of ovariectomy-induced osteopenia and dyslipidemia.Methods Thirty-eight 4-month-old female SD rats were divided into baseline(BAS)group(n=6),sham operation group(n=8)and ovariectomy(OVX)group(n=24).The OVX group was further divided into vehicle treatment group(n=8),diethylstilbestrol(30 μg/kg·d)treatment group(OVX+D30 group,n=8),and aspirin(9 mg/kg·d)plus diethylstilbestrol(10 μg/kg·d)treatment group(OVX+A-D10 group,n=8).Their left tibiae were collected for the bone histomorphometric analysis in undecalcified sections.Left femurs were collected for the bone mineral density measurement.Results The body weight and serum cholesterol were increased,while uterine weight and cancellous bone mass were decreased in OVX rats compared with the SHAM group.Cancellous bone mass was significantly increased,while body weight and bone resorption parameters were decreased in both A-D10 and D30 treatment group compared with OVX group.The rats treated with A-D10 showed significantly increased in bone formation parameters and decreased in serum triglyceride compared with the D30-treated rats.Conclusion Aspirin plus low-dose diethylstilbestrol can effectively prevent osteopenia by reducing bone resorption,and is thus a better treatment modality for preventing dyslipidemia than high-dose diethylstilbestrol alone.LIN Si En HUANG Jian Ping WU Ling Zhi WU Tie CUI Liao 2013Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2013,26,4:3

The X ray diffraction analysis showed that [Co 2Cl 8V 10 O 18 (H 2O)]Cl 2·6H 2O crystallized in a monoclinic crystal system, the space group was C2/m with cell parameters a =1 6065(3) nm, b =2 2699(5) nm, c =1 3897(3) nm, β = 125.29(3)°, V =4 1363(14) nm 3, Z =2 and the final R =0 06, wR =0 1926. 16Microstructure-based multiphysics modeling for semiconductor integration and packaging显示文摘Semiconductor technology and packaging is advancing rapidly toward system integration where the packaging is co-designed and co-manufactured along with the wafer fabrication.However,materials issues,in particular the mesoscale microstructure,have to date been excluded from the integrated product design cycle of electronic packaging due to the myriad of materials used and the complex nature of the material phenomena that require a multiphysics approach to describe.In the context of the materials genome initiative,we present an overview of a series of studies that aim to establish the linkages between the material microstructure and its responses by considering the multiple perspectives of the various multiphysics fields.The microstructure was predicted using thermodynamic calculations,sharp interface kinetic models,phase field,and phase field crystal modelingtechniques.Based on the predicted mesoscale microstructure,linear elastic mechanical analyses and electromigration simulations on the ultrafine interconnects were performed.The microstructural index extracted by a method based on singular value decomposition exhibits a monotonous decrease with an increase in the interconnect size.An artificial neural network-based fitting revealed a nonlinear relationship between the microstructure index and the average von Mises stress in the ultrafine interconnects.Future work to address the randomness of microstructure and the resulting scatter in the reliability is discussed in this study.Zhiheng Huang Hua Xiong Zhiyong Wu Paul Conway Hugh Davies Alan Dinsdale Yunfei En Qingfeng Zeng 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,15:2
