Transformative hyaluronic acid-based active targeting supramolecular nanoplatform improves long circulation and enhances cellular uptake in cancer therapy显示文摘Hyaluronic acid(HA) is a natural ligand of tumor-targeted drug delivery systems(DDS) due to the relevant CD44 receptor overexpressed on tumor cell membranes. However, other HA receptors(HARE and LYVE-1) are also overexpressing in the reticuloendothelial system(RES). Therefore, polyethylene glycol(PEG) modification of HA-based DDS is necessary to reduce RES capture.Unfortunately, pegylation remarkably inhibits tumor cellular uptake and endosomal escapement, significantly compromising the in vivo antitumor efficacy. Herein, we developed a Dox-loaded HA-based transformable supramolecular nanoplatform(Dox/HCVBP) to overcome this dilemma. Dox/HCVBP contains a tumor extracellular acidity-sensitive detachable PEG shell achieved by a benzoic imine linkage. The in vitro and in vivo investigations further demonstrated that Dox/HCVBP could be in a 'stealth' state at blood stream for a long circulation time due to the buried HA ligands and the minimized nonspecific interaction by PEG shell. However, it could transform into a 'recognition' state under the tumor acidic microenvironment for efficient tumor cellular uptake due to the direct exposure of active targeting ligand HA following PEG shell detachment. Such a transformative concept provides a promising strategy to resolve the dilemma of natural ligand-based DDS with conflicting two processes of tumor cellular uptake and in vivo nonspecific biodistribution. | Lu Zhong Lu Xu Yanying Liu Qingsong Li Dongyang Zhao Zhenbao Li Huicong Zhang Haotian Zhang Qiming Kan Yongjun Wang Jin Sun Zhonggui He | 2019 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2019,9,2: | 7
Intestinal OCTN2-and MCT1-targeted drug delivery to improve oral bioavailability显示文摘Various drug transporters are widely expressed throughout the intestine and play important roles in absorbing nutrients and drugs, thus providing high quality targets for the design of prodrugs or nanoparticles to facilitate oral drug delivery. In particular, intestinal carnitine/organic cation transporter 2(OCTN2)and mono-carboxylate transporter protein 1(MCT1)possess high transport capacities and complementary distributions. Therefore,we outline recent developments in transporter-targeted oral drug delivery with regard to the OCTN2 and MCT1 proteins in this review.First, basic information of the two transporters is reviewed, including their topological structures, characteristics and functions, expression and key features of their substrates.Furthermore, progress in transporter-targeting prodrugs and nanoparticles to increase oral drug delivery is discussed, including improvements in the oral absorption of anti-inflammatory drugs, antiepileptic drugs and anticancer drugs. Finally, the potential of a dual transporter-targeting strategy is discussed. | Gang Wang Lichun Zhao Qikun jiang Yixin Sun Dongyang Zhao Mengchi Sun Zhonggui He Jin sun Yang Wang | 2020 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2020,15,2: | 3
Insight into selective removal of copper from high-concentration nickel solutions with XPS and DFT:New technique to prepare 5N-nickel with chelating resin显示文摘An efficient and profitable separation process was proposed to prepare 5N(the purity of the metal solution reaches 99.999%) high-purity nickel from 3N nickel-solutions using Purolite S984. The adsorption performance of this superior resin, especially its selectivity for metal ions, was explored quantitatively. The maximum adsorption capacity for copper was 2.286 mmol/g calculated by the Langmuir model, which was twice as large as that for nickel. In the binary systems, the adsorption capacity for nickel was decreased by 45%, indicating direct competition for the active sites. The infinite separation factor for copper versus nickel exceeded 300, revealing the feasibility of preparing5N-level high-purity nickel solutions, which was further verified using the 800 BV(bed volume) effluent in the column dynamic process.According to the cost–benefit analysis, purification contributed to a profit of approximately 60,000 USD per cycle, and the investment return period was less than 1/3 years. Density functional theory analysis confirmed that four nitrogen atoms would be involved in the coordination complex and thus a structure involving two five-membered rings could be achieved. The X-ray photoelectron spectra confirmed the involvement of nitrogen atoms, implying a coordination ratio of approximately 1:1. | Xuewen Tao Fuqiang Liu Zhiping Bai Dongyang Wei Xiaopeng Zhang Junfei Wang Jie Gao Xiaowen Sun Baohua Li Chenghui Li Aimin Li | 2016 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2016,28,10: | 3

Joint Dynamic Clustering and User Scheduling for Downlink Cloud Radio Access Network with Limited Feedback显示文摘In limited feedback-based CloudRAN(C-RAN) systems, the inter-cluster and intra-cluster interference together with the quantification error can seriously deteriorates the system spectral efficiency. We,in this paper, propose an efficient three-phase framework and corresponding algorithms for dealing with this problem.Firstly,a greedy scheduling algorithm based on the lower bound of the ergodic rate is performed for generating an elementary cluster in the first phase. And then the elementary cluster is divided into many small clusters according to the following proposed algorithms based on the short term instantaneous information in the second phase. In the end, based on the limited feedback two zero-forcing(ZF) precoding strategies are adopted for reducing the intra-cluster interference in the third phase. The provided Monte Carlo simulations show the effectiveness of our proposed algorithms in the respect of system spectral efficiency and average user rate. | XU Dongyang REN Pinyi DU Qinghe SUN Li | 2015 | China Communications2015,12,12: | 2

Towards win-win: weighted-Voronoi-diagram based channel quantization for security enhancement in downlink cloud-RAN with limited CSI feedback显示文摘Physical layer(PHY) security is recently proved to enable improving the security of wireless communication networks. In downlink frequency division duplex(FDD) cloud radio access network(C-RAN), the performance of PHY security highly relies on the channel state information(CSI) which is usually acquired through the codebook-quantization-based technique at the transceiver. However, the conventional quantization method aggravates the leakage of privacy information in C-RAN under the eavesdropping environment. In this paper, a novel channel quantization method is investigated to improve the secrecy-rate performance of C-RAN by exploiting the high-dimension space geometry. Based on this method, it is proved that when the statistical distribution of the channel matrices of both the legitimate user and the eavesdropper is exploited, a win-win situation can be created where secrecy-rate gains are improved without sacrificing beamforming gains from the point of view of ergodic rate. Particularly, a secrecy-oriented criterion is devised to implement the proposed method for generating codebooks. Then a weighted Voronoi diagram(WVD) is formulated on the complex Grassmann manifold and finally, a vector quantization based algorithm is proposed to build up novel quantization codebooks iteratively. Simulation results further validate the superiority of our proposed codebooks over conventional codebooks in C-RAN systems. | Dongyang XU Pinyi REN Qinghe DU Li SUN Yichen WANG | 2017 | Science China(Information Sciences)2017,60,4: | 2
Rutile to Titanite Transformation in Eclogites and its Geochemical Consequences:An Example from the Sumdo Eclogite,Tibet显示文摘The formation of titanite coronae after rutile is common in retrograde high-to ultrahigh-pressure meta-mafic rocks, which provides a good opportunity to address the geochemical behavior of HFSE in crustal environments. In the Sumdo eclogite, titanite occurs either as a corona around rutile grains or as semi-continuous veins cross-cutting the major foliation, whereas rutile grains occur either as inclusions in garnet or omphacite or as a relict core surrounded by titanite.Textural relationships and trace elements characteristics of rutile and titanite with different occurrences indicate that both minerals preferentially incorporate Nb and Hf over Ta and Zr in aqueous fluid. Moreover, the breakdown of omphacite and epidote could release substantial amounts of aqueous fluids enriched in Ca,Si,Fe and REE,which would react with rutile to form titanite coronae and veins.During this process,water-insoluble elements, like HFSE and HREE,behave like mobile elements, but they do not migrate substantially out of the system, instead, tending to react in situ. This suggests that the aqueous fluids released during the retrograde metamorphic reactions in mafic rocks could not substantially transfer fluidimmobile elements into the overlying mantle wedge in subduction environments. | ZHAO Linghao ZENG Lingsen GAO Li’e HU Mingyue SUN Dongyang ZHANG Lifei | 2023 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2023,97,1: | 2
Development and validation of a UPLC–MS/MS assay for the determination of gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative in rat plasma and its application in oral pharmacokinetics显示文摘A simple and rapid UPLC–MS/MS method to simultaneously determine gemcitabine and its L-carnitine ester derivative(2’-deoxy-2’, 2’-difluoro-N-((4-amino-4-oxobutanoyl) oxy)-4-(trimethyl amm-onio) butanoate-cytidine, JDR) in rat plasma was developed and validated. The conventional plasma sample preparation method of nucleoside analogues is solidphase extraction(SPE) which is time-consuming and cost-expensive. In this study, gradient elution with small particles size solid phase was applied to effectively separate gemcitabine and JDR, and protein precipitation pretreatment was adopted to remove plasma protein and extract the analytes with high recovery(>81%). Method validation was performed as per the FDA guidelines, and the standard curves were found to be linear in the range of 5–4000 ng/ml for JDR and 4–4000 ng/ml for gemcitabine, respectively. The lower limit of quantitation(LLOQ)of gemcitabine and JDR was 4 and 5 ng/ml, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision and accuracy results were within the acceptable limits. Finally, the developed method was successfully applied to investigate the pharmacokinetic studies of JDR and gemcitabine after oral administration to rats. | Gang Wang Dongyang Zhao Hongxiang Chen Dawei Ding Longfa Kou Lifang Sun Chenxia Hao Xincong Li Kai Jia Qiming Kan Xiaohong Liu Zhonggui He Jin Sun | 2017 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2017,12,5: | 2

Exploring the relationship of hyaluronic acid molecular weight and active targeting efficiency for designing hyaluronic acid-modified nanoparticles显示文摘Although it is reported that the targeting ability of hyaluronic acid(HA)-based nanoparticles(NPs) is molecular weight(MW) dependent, the influence of HA MW on targeting efficiency of HA-functionalized NPs and the underlying mechanism remain elusive. In this study,we constituted three HA-functionalized Dox-loaded NPs(Dox/HCVs) different HA MWs(7,63,and 102 k Da) and attempted to illustrate the effects of HA MW on the targeting efficiency. The three Dox/HCVs had similar physiochemical and pharmaceutical characteristics, but showed different affinity to CD44 receptor. Furthermore,Dox/HCV-63 exerted the best targeting effect and the highest cytotoxicity compared with Dox/HCV-7 and Dox/HCV-102. It was interesting to found that both the HA-CD44 binding affinity and induced CD44 clustering by HA-based NPs were HA MW-dependent,the two of which determine the apparent targeting efficacy of Dox/HCV NPs in the conflicting directions. Those results laid a good foundation for rationally designing HA-based NPs in cancer therapy. | Lu Zhong Yanying Liu Lu Xu Qingsong Li Dongyang Zhao Zhenbao Li Huicong Zhang Haotian Zhang Qiming Kan Jin Sun Zhonggui He | 2019 | Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2019,14,5: | 1

Motor network reorganization in stroke patients with dyskinesias during a shoulder-touching task:A fNIRS study显示文摘Hemiplegia after stroke has become a major cause of the world's high disabilities, and it is vital to enhance our understanding of post-stroke neuroplasticity to develop e±cient rehabilitation programs. This study aimed to explore the brain activation and network reorganization of the motor cortex(MC)with functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS).The MC hemodynamic signals were gained from 22 stroke patients and 14 healthy subjects during a shoulder-touching task with the right hand. The MC activation pattern and network attributes analyzed with the graph theory were compared between the two groups. The results revealed that healthy controls presented dominant activation in the left MC while stroke patients exhibited dominant activation in the bilateral hemispheres MC.The MC networks for the two groups had small-world properties.Compared with healthy controls, patients had higher transitivity and lower global e±ciency(GE),mean connectivity, and long connections(LCs)in the left MC.In addition, both MC activation and network attributes were correlated with patient's upper limb motor function. The results showed the stronger compensation of the unaffected motor area, the better recovery of the upper limb motor function for patients. Moreover, the MC network possessed high clustering and relatively sparse inter-regional connections during recovery for patients. Our results promote the understanding of MC reorganization during recovery and indicate that MC activation and network could provide clinical assessment signi¯cance in stroke patients.Given the advantages of fNIRS,it shows great application potential in the assessment and rehabilitation of motor function after stroke. | Yizheng Zhang Dan Wang Dongyang Wang Kecheng Yan Li Yi Shuoshu Lin Guangjian Shao Zhiyong Shao Jinyan Sun Aoran Yang | 2023 | Journal of Innovative Optical Health Sciences2023,16,6: | 1
Blood Sample Image Classification Algorithm Based on SVM and HOG显示文摘In the medical field, the classification and analysis of blood samples has always been arduous work.In the previous work of this task, manual classification maneuvers have been used, which are time consuming and laborious. The conventional blood image classification research is mainly focused on the microscopic cell image classification, while the macroscopic reagent processing blood coagulation image classification research is still blank. These blood samples processed with reagents often show some inherent shape characteristics, such as coagulation, attachment, discretization and so on.The shape characteristics of these blood samples also make it possible for us to recognize their classification through computer vision algorithms.Blood sample classification focuses on the texture and shape of the picture.HOG feature is a kind of feature descriptor used for object detection in computer vision and image processing. It can better extract the outline and texture features of the image by calculating and counting the histogram of oriented gradient of the local region of the image.Because the medical machines that need to identify and classify blood samples often lack strong calculation power, the current popular machine-learning classification algorithms cannot play a good role in these machines. In addition, the characteristics of blood samples produced by different types of reagents and processing methods are different, and it is difficult to obtain real samples,so the amount of data that can be used for training is small.Combining the above conditions and the experimental comparison of a variety of classification algorithms,we find that the lightweight SVMmodel has a better performance on this problem, and the combination of HOG and SVM has also been widely used in other research. The experiment demonstrated that the classification algorithm based on SVM and HOG can give a good result of both performance and accuracy in the classification of blood samples problem. | Tianyi Jiang Shuangshuang Ying Zhou Fang Xue Song Yinggang Sun Dongyang Zhan Chao Ma | 2022 | Journal of New Media2022,4,2: | 0
Mode-localized accelerometer in the nonlinear Duffing regime with 75 ng bias instability and 95 ng/√Hz noise floor显示文摘Mode-localized sensors have attracted attention because of their high parametric sensitivity and first-order common-mode rejection to temperature drift. The high-fidelity detection of resonator amplitude is critical to determining the resolution of mode-localized sensors where the measured amplitude ratio in a system of coupled resonators represents the output metric.Operation at specific bifurcation points in a nonlinear regime can potentially improve the amplitude bias stability;however, the amplitude ratio scale factor to the input measurand in a nonlinear regime has not been fully investigated. This paper theoretically and experimentally elucidates the operation of mode-localized sensors with respect to stiffness perturbations(or an external acceleration field)in a nonlinear Duffing regime. The operation of a mode-localized accelerometer is optimized with the benefit of the insights gained from theoretical analysis with operation in the nonlinear regime close to the top critical bifurcation point. The phase portraits of the amplitudes of the two resonators under different drive forces are recorded to support the experimentally observed improvements for velocity random walk.Employing temperature control to suppress the phase and amplitude variations induced by the temperature drift,1/f noise at the operation frequency is significantly reduced.A prototype accelerometer device demonstrates a noise floor of 95 ng/√Hz and a bias instability of 75 ng,establishing a new benchmark for accelerometers employing vibration mode localization as a sensing paradigm.A mode-localized accelerometer is first employed to record microseismic noise in a university laboratory environment. | Hemin Zhang Milind Pandit Guillermo Sobreviela Madan Parajuli Dongyang Chen Jiangkun Sun Chun Zhao Ashwin A.Seshia | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,1: | 0
Federation Boosting Tree for Originator Rights Protection显示文摘The problem of data island hinders the application of big data in artificial intelligence model training,so researchers propose a federated learning framework. It enables model training without having to centralize all data in a central storage point. In the current horizontal federated learning scheme, each participant gets the final jointly trained model. No solution is proposed for scenarios where participants only provide training data in exchange for benefits, but do not care about the final jointly trained model. Therefore, this paper proposes a newboosted tree algorithm, calledRPBT(the originator Rights Protected federated Boosted Tree algorithm).Compared with the current horizontal federal learning algorithm, each participant will obtain the final jointly trained model.RPBT can guarantee that the local data of the participants will not be leaked, while the final jointly trained model cannot be obtained. It is worth mentioning that, from the perspective of the participants, the scheme uses the batch idea to make the participants participate in the training in random batches. Therefore, this scheme is more suitable for scenarios where a large number of participants are jointly modeling.Furthermore,a small number of participants will not actually participate in the joint training process. Therefore, the proposed scheme is more secure.Theoretical analysis and experimental evaluations show that RPBT is secure, accurate and efficient. | Yinggang Sun Hongguo Zhang Chao Ma Hai Huang Dongyang Zhan Jiaxing Qu | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,2: | 0
Nanofiber self-consistent additive manufacturing process for 3D microfluidics显示文摘3D microfluidic devices have emerged as powerful platforms for analytical chemistry, biomedical sensors, and microscale fluid manipulation.3D printing technology, owing to its structural fabrication flexibility, has drawn extensive attention in the field of 3D microfluidics fabrication. However, the collapse of suspended structures and residues of sacrificial materials greatly restrict the application of this technology, especially for extremely narrow channel fabrication. In this paper,a 3D printing strategy named nanofiber self-consistent additive manufacturing(NSCAM)is proposed for integrated 3D microfluidic chip fabrication with porous nanofibers as supporting structures, which avoids the sacrificial layer release process. In the NSCAM process, electrospinning and electrohydrodynamic jet(E-jet)writing are alternately employed. The porous polyimide nanofiber mats formed by electrospinning are ingeniously applied as both supporting structures for the suspended layer and percolating media for liquid flow, while the polydimethylsiloxane E-jet writing ink printed on the nanofiber mats(named construction fluid in this paper)controllably permeates through the porous mats. After curing, the resultant construction fluid–nanofiber composites are formed as 3D channel walls. As a proof of concept,a microfluidic pressure-gain valve, which contains typical features of narrow channels and movable membranes, was fabricated, and the printed valve was totally closed under a control pressure of 45 kPa with a fast dynamic response of 52.6 ms,indicating the feasibility of NSCAM.Therefore,we believe NSCAM is a promising technique for manufacturing microdevices that include movable membrane cavities, pillar cavities, and porous scaffolds, showing broad applications in 3D microfluidics, soft robot drivers or sensors, and organ-on-a-chip systems. | Bin Qiu Xiaojun Chen Feng Xu Dongyang Wu Yike Zhou Wenchang Tu Hang Jin Gonghan He Songyue Chen Daoheng Sun | 2022 | Microsystems & Nanoengineering2022,8,5: | 0
