1Evaluation of efficacy and safety of gandouling plus sodium dimercaptosulphonate in treatment of patients with neurological Wilson's disease from China显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of gandouling plus sodium dimercaptosulphonate(DMPS) on neurological Wilson's disease(WD) in patients.METHODS: We retrospectively evaluated the clinical records of 125 WD patients with neurological syndromes who were treated with gandouling plus sodium DMPS or DMPS used alone. All patients had a history of neurological deterioration during their diseases courses. The clinical efficacies, adverse reactions, and results of the various hematological and biochemical investigations were recorded for statistical analysis.RESULTS: 92.30%(60 patients) of the WD patients treated with the combined therapy experienced an improved or stable neurological condition paral-leled by a significantly improved GAS score. Meanwhile, the WBC and PLT counts stabilized, liver function and renal function were improved or remained stable. The combined therapy also obviously promoted the 24-h urinary copper excretion. In particular, only 30.76% of the WD patients experienced mild adverse reactions, including neurological deterioration in 5 patients(7.69%), hepatic worsening in 1 subject(1.89%), which was less frequently than those in the control group treated with DMPS only.CONCLUSION: Our findings indicate that the safety and efficacy of gandou-ling plus DMPS is superior to those of DMPS used alone in the WD patients with neurological symptoms.Zhang Jing Xie Daojun Guo Yanbing Li Yajun Li Liangyong Han Hui Zhang Juan Chen Huaizhen Wang Meixia 2018Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018,38,5:7
2A Deletable and Modifiable Blockchain Scheme Based on Record Verification Trees and the Multisignature Mechanism显示文摘As one of the most valuable technologies, blockchains have received extensive attention from researchers and industry circles and are widely applied in various scenarios. However, data on a blockchain cannot be deleted. As a result,it is impossible to clean invalid and sensitive data and correct erroneous data. This,to a certain extent, hinders the application of blockchains in supply chains and Internet of Things. To address this problem, this study presents a deletable and modifiable blockchain scheme(DMBlockChain)based on record verification trees(RVTrees)and the multisignature scheme.(1)In this scheme,an RVTree structure is designed and added to the block structure. The RVTree can not only ensure that a record is true and valid but, owing to its unique binary structure, also verify whether modification and deletion requests are valid.(2)In DMBlockChain, the multisignature mechanism is also introduced. This mechanism requires the stakeholders’signatures for each modification or deletion request and thus ensures that a record will not be modified arbitrarily.A user’s request is deemed valid only if it is dually verified by the RVTree and the multisignature mechanism. The analysis finds that DMBlockChain can provide a secure and valid means for modifying and deleting records in a block while ensuring the integrity of the block and that DMBlockChain can effectively save space in some scenarios that require frequent records modification.Daojun Han Jinyu Chen Lei Zhang Yatian Shen Yihua Gao Xueheng Wang 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,7:3
3Mode for reducing wind curtailment based on battery transportation显示文摘Renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar, face several obstacles, including curtailment, where the generated energy exceeds local demand and production must be reduced because of limited transmission capacity.Simultaneously, consumer demand for large-capacity batteries is expanding given the recent rapid development of electric vehicles(EVs) and plug-in hybrid EVs. A batterycharging mode, in which discharged batteries are transported from battery exchange stations in high-load areas to wind farms, is proposed to alleviate curtailment. In this study, batteries store otherwise curtailed energy and smooth the wind power output simultaneously. The structure of the battery-charging device is discussed, and the concept of a battery-charging container is proposed. The control principle of the battery-charging management unit is presented with a simulation model constructed in the PSCAD/EMTDC environment. A case study is simulated, and the feasibility of the mode is analyzed considering the levelized cost and energy losses. Simulation results show that this mode is a feasible solution to alleviating wind curtailment and providing fresh impetus for developing EV battery exchanges.Zhanlong ZHANG Daojun MEI Han JIANG Guohua LIU Hongpeng HE Yue CHEN 2018Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2018,6,6:2
