| 1 | Cordycepin protects renal ischemia/reperfusion injury through regulating inflammation,apoptosis,and oxidative stress显示文摘Cordycepin(3-deoxyadenosine)is a naturally occurring adenosine analog and one of the bioactive constituents isolated from Cordyceps sinensis,species of the fungal genus Cordyceps.It has traditionally been a prized Chinese folk medicine for the human well-being.However,the actions of cordycepin against renal ischemia/reperfusion injury(/R)are still unknown.In the present study,rats were subject to VR and cordycepin was intragastrically administered for seven consecutive days before surgery to investigate the effects and mechanisms of cordycepin against renal/R injury.The test results of kidney and peripheral blood samples of experimental animals showed that cordycepin significantly decreased serum blood urea nitrogen and creatinine levels and markedly attenuated cell injury.Mechanistic studies showed that cordycepin significantly regulated inflammation,apoptosis,and oxidative stress.These data provide new insights for investigating the natural product with the nephroprotective effect against I/R,which should be developed as a new therapeutic agent for the treatment of I/R in the future. | Feng Han Meng Dou Yuxiang Wang Cuixiang Xu Yang Li Xiaoming Ding Wujun Xue Jin Zheng Puxun Tian Chenguang Ding | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,2: | 9 |

| 3 | miR-124/IRE-1α affects renal ischemia/reperfusion injury by regulating endoplasmic reticulum stress in renal tubular epithelial cells显示文摘Acute kidney injury(AKI)refers to a clinical syndrome that occurs as a result of a rapid decline in renal function caused by multiple factors.Renal ischemia/reperfusion(/R)injury is one of the main causes of AKI and has a high incidence and mortality,However,the specific pathogenesis of renal I/R injury is still unclear.In recent years,a major breakthrough has been made in the study of endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)-mediated apoptosis in I/R injury.It has been reported that miRNAs play protective roles in ischemic/reperfused organs,but the molecular mechanisms have not been investigated deeply.In this study,the renal VR mouse model was used to explore the roles of miR-124 in ERS and in renal I/R injury.The western blot results showed that the expression levels of ERS-related proteins IRE-1α,XBP-1,and glucose-regulated protein 78(GRP78)were significantly increased in the IVR model group when compared with those in the control group.Meanwhile,qPCR results showed that miR-124 expression was decreased in the I/R injury model,and overexpression of miR-124 using miR-124 mimics effectively reduced the expression of ERS-related proteins and alleviated renal LR injury.In addition,luciferase reporter assay was performed,and the results showed that IRE 1αand miR-124 may have direct interaction.In conclusion,our data indicated that miR-124 was a negative regulator of ERS via binding to IRE-1α,ultimately conferring its protective effect on the kidney,which demonstrates the regulatory mechanism of miR-124 in renal I/R injury and provides new ideas and methods for the prevention and treatment of renal I/R injury. | Chenguang Ding Meng Dou Yuxiang Wang Yang Li Ying Wang Jin Zheng Xiao Li Wujun Xue Xiaoming Ding Puxun Tian | 2020 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,2: | 4 |
| 4 | Co-delivery of doxorubicin and paclitaxel with linear-dendritic block copolymer for enhanced anti-cancer efficacy显示文摘A series of well-defined amphiphilic linear-dendritic block copolymers(telodendrimers, MPEG-b-PAMAM-cholesterol) with 1,2,4 or 8 cholesteryl groups(named as P1, P2, P4, P8, respectively) were synthesized. Their chemical structures were characterized with 1H NMR and mass spectrum(MALDI-TOF MS). The telodendrimers could self-assemble into micelles in aqueous solution, and encapsulate chemotherapeutic drug doxorubicin(DOX) and paclitaxel(PTX) for combination therapy. All the telodendrimers could encapsulate DOX with similar capability. However, their drug-loading capability of PTX is increased with the increasing number of cholesteryl groups. P8 exhibited much higher PTX loading efficiency than its counterparts. Thus, P8 was selected for further application of drug delivery in the paper. The drug-loading micellar nanoparticles(NPs) of P8 were spherical in shape and their diameters were less than 150 nm which were determined by dynamic light scattering measurements(DLS) and transmission electron microscope(TEM). In vitro drug release experiment demonstrated that P8 exhibited a controlled release manner for both DOX and PTX, and the two drugs were released simultaneously. In vitro cytotoxicity experiment further demonstrated that the co-delivery of DOX and PTX in P8 exhibited better anti-cancer efficiency than the delivery systems encapsulated with single drug(DOX or PTX). This indicates a synergistic effect. The size and pattern of aqueous droplets can be precisely controlled, and immobilization within hydrogel fiber facilitates easy manipulation and observation. | 11 | Predictive value of hypothermic machine perfusion parameters combined perfusate biomarkers in deceased donor kidney transplantation显示文摘Background:Delayed graft function(DGF)is the main cause of renal function failure after kidney transplantation.This study aims at investigating the value of hypothermic machine perfusion(HMP)parameters combined with perfusate biomarkers on predicting DGF and the time of renal function recovery after deceased donor(DD)kidney transplantation.Methods:HMP parameters,perfusate biomarkers and baseline characteristics of 113 DD kidney transplantations from January 1,2019 to August 31,2019 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University were retrospectively analyzed using univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:In this study,the DGF incidence was 17.7%(20/113);The multivariate logistic regression results showed that terminal resistance(OR:1.879,95%CI 1.145-3.56)and glutathione S-transferase(GST)(OR=1.62,95%CI 1.23-2.46)were risk factors for DGF;The Cox model analysis indicated that terminal resistance was an independent hazard factor for renal function recovery time(HR=0.823,95%CI 0.735-0.981).The model combining terminal resistance and GST(AUC=0.888,95%CI:0.842-0.933)significantly improved the DGF predictability compared with the use of terminal resistance(AUC=0.756,95%CI 0.693-0.818)or GST alone(AUC=0.729,95%CI 0.591-0.806).Conclusion:According to the factors analyzed in this study,the combination of HMP parameters and perfusate biomarkers displays a potent DGF predictive value. | Yuxi Qiao Chenguang Ding Yang Li Xiaohui Tian Puxun Tian Xiaoming Ding Heli Xiang Jin Zheng Wujun Xue | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,,2: | 1 |

Field-effect transistors were tested and photodetector measurements were performed to compare these NC solids. An SCN-treated film had the highest mobility and responsivity under high-power intensity irradiation owing to its high carrier density, whereas an EDT-treated film had the lowest mobility, photocurrent, and dark current. | 17 | A simple fluorescent sensor for highly sensitive detection of UO_(2)2+显示文摘Extensive application of nuclear energy has caused widespread environmental uranium contamination.New detection approaches without complicated sample pretreatment and precision instruments are in demand for on-site and in-time determination of uranyl ions in environmental monitoring, especially in an emergency situation. In this work, a simple and effective fluorescent sensor(Z)-N’-hydroxy-4-(1,2,2-triphenylvinyl)benzimidamide(TPE-A) with aggregation-induced emission(AIE) character was established and studied. It could realize to detect UO_(2)2+via quenching the fluorescence of its aggregation-induced emission, with good selectivity and sensitivity. Such strategy shows a wide linear range from 5.0 × 10^(-8)mol/L to 4.5 × 10^(-7)mol/L(R^(2)= 0.9988) with exceptional sensitivity reaching 4.7 × 10^(-9)mol/L, which is far below the limit for uranium in drinking water(30 μg/L, ca. 1.1 × 10-7mol/L) stipulated by the WHO.A response time less than four minutes make it rapid for uranyl ion measurement. It was applied for detection of uranyl ion in spiked river water samples with recoveries in the range of 98.7%-104.0%, comparable to those obtained by ICP-MS.
