1A review on the numerical geodynamic modeling of continental subduction,collision and exhumation显示文摘Continental subduction and collision normally follows oceanic subduction,with the remarkable event of formation and exhumation of high-to ultra-high-pressure(HP-UHP)metamorphic rocks.Based on the summary of numerical geodynamic models,six modes of continental convergence have been identified:pure shear thickening,folding and buckling,one-sided steep subduction,flat subduction,two-sided subduction,and subducting slab break-off.In addition,the exhumation of HP-UHP rocks can be formulated into eight modes:thrust fault exhumation,buckling exhumation,material circulation,overpressure model,exhumation of a coherent crustal slice,episodic ductile extrusion,slab break-off induced eduction,and exhumation through fractured overriding lithosphere.During the transition from subduction to exhumation,the weakening and detachment of subducted continental crust are prerequisites.However,the dominant weakening mechanisms and their roles in the subduction channel are poorly constrained.To a first degree approximation,the mechanism of continental subduction and exhumation can be treated as a subduction channel flow model,which incorporates the competing effects of downward Couette(subduction)flow and upward Poiseuille(exhumation)flow in the subduction channel.However,the(de-)hydration effect plays significant roles in the deformation of subduction channel and overriding lithosphere,which thereby result in very different modes from the simple subduction channel flow.Three-dimensionality is another important issue with highlighting the along-strike differential modes of continental subduction,collision and exhumation in the same continental convergence belt.LI ZhongHai 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,1:30
2Material transportation and fluid-melt activity in the subduction channel: Numerical modeling显示文摘The subduction channel is defined as a planar to wedge-like area of variable size,internal structure and composition,which forms between the upper and lower plates during slab subduction into the mantle.The materials in the channel may experience complex pressure,temperature,stress and strain evolution,as well as strong fluid and melt activity.A certain amount of these materials may subduct to and later exhume from>100 km depth,forming high to ultra-high pressure rocks on the surface as widely discovered in nature.Rock deformation in the channel is strongly assisted by metamorphic fluids activities,which change composition and mechanical properties of rocks and thus affect their subduction and exhumation histories.In this study,we investigate the detailed structure and dynamics of both oceanic and continental subduction channels,by conducting highresolution petrological-thermomechanical numerical simulations taking into account fluid and melt activities.The numerical results demonstrate that subduction channels are composed of a tectonic rock melange formed by crustal rocks detached from the subducting slab and the hydrated mantle rocks scratched from the overriding plate.These rocks may either extrude sub-vertically upward through the mantle wedge to the crust of the upper plate,or exhume along the subduction channel to the surface near the suture zone.Based on our numerical results,we first analyze similarities and differences between oceanic and continental subduction channels.We further compare numerical models with and without fluid and melt activity and demonstrate that this activity results in strong weakening and deformation of overriding lithosphere.Finally,we show that fast convergence of orogens subjected to fluid and melt activity leads to strong deformation of the overriding lithosphere and the topography builds up mainly on the overriding plate.In contrast,slow convergence of such orogens leads to very limited deformation of the overriding lithosphere and the mountain building mainly occurs on the subducting plate.LI ZhongHai LIU MingQi Taras GERYA 2015Science China Earth Sciences2015,58,8:18
3Late Quaternary normal faulting and its kinematic mechanism of eastern piedmont fault of the Haba-Yulong Snow Mountains in northwestern Yunnan, China显示文摘The regional geologic and geomorphic observations show that an active arcuate normal fault constitutes the main boundary fault of the Haba-Yulong Snow Mountains (HYSM). This fault is called eastern piedmont fault of Haba-Yulong Snow Mountains (HYPF). The fault consists of two segments with differential trend; the northern segment is NW-trending and NE-dipping and the southern section is S-N trending and E-dipping. Three sets of fault scarps cutting late Quaternary landforms and their dating results indicate that the fault is a prominent Holocene active fault and its throw rates are 0.3―1.4 mm/a during late Quaternary. 4Fault diagnosis of an intelligent hydraulic pump based on a nonlinear unknown input observer显示文摘Hydraulic piston pumps are commonly used in aircraft. In order to improve the viability of aircraft and energy efficiency, intelligent variable pressure pump systems have been used in aircraft hydraulic systems more and more widely. Efficient fault diagnosis plays an important role in improving the reliability and performance of hydraulic systems. In this paper, a fault diagnosis method of an intelligent hydraulic pump system(IHPS) based on a nonlinear unknown input observer(NUIO) is proposed. Different from factors of a full-order Luenberger-type unknown input observer, nonlinear factors of the IHPS are considered in the NUIO. Firstly, a new type of intelligent pump is presented, the mathematical model of which is established to describe the IHPS. Taking into account the real-time requirements of the IHPS and the special structure of the pump, the mechanism of the intelligent pump and failure modes are analyzed and two typical failure modes are obtained. Furthermore, a NUIO of the IHPS is performed based on the output pressure and swashplate angle signals. With the residual error signals produced by the NUIO, online intelligent pump failure occurring in real-time can be detected. Lastly, through analysis and simulation, it is confirmed that this diagnostic method could accurately diagnose and isolate those typical failure modes of the nonlinear IHPS. 5Early Cenozoic Tectonics of the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Geological mapping at a scale of 1:250000 coupled with related researches in recent years reveal well Early Cenozoic paleo-tectonic evolution of the Tibetan Plateau. Marine deposits and foraminifera assemblages indicate that the Tethys-Himalaya Ocean and the Southwest Tarim Sea existed in the south and north of the Tibetan Plateau, respectively, in Paleocene-Eocene. The paleooceanic plate between the Indian continental plate and the Lhasa block had been as wide as 900km at beginning of the Cenozoic Era. Late Paleocene transgressions of the paleo-sea led to the formation of paleo-bays in the southern Lhasa block. Northward subduction of the Tethys-Himalaya Oceanic Plate caused magma emplacement and volcanic eruptions of the Linzizong Group in 64.5-44.3 Ma, which formed the Paleocene-Eocene Gangdise Magmatic Arc in the north of Yalung-Zangbu Suture (YZS), accompanied by intensive thrust in the Lhasa, Qiangtang, Hoh Xil and Kunlun blocks. The Paleocene-Eocene depression of basins reached to a depth of 3500-4800 m along major thrust faults and 680-850 m along the boundary normal faults in central Tibetan Plateau, and the Paleocene-Eocene depression of the Tarim and Qaidam basins without evident contractions were only as deep as 300-580 m and 600-830 m, respectively, far away from central Tibetan Plateau. Low elevation plains formed in the southern continental margin of the Tethy-Himalaya Ocean, the central Tibet and the Tarim basin in Paleocene-Early Eocene. 6Structural Synthesis of Compliant Metamorphic Mechanisms Based on Adjacency Matrix Operations显示文摘A compliant metamorphic mechanism attributes to a new type of metamorphic mechanisms evolved from rigid metamorphic mechanisms. The structural characteristics and representations of a compliant metamorphic mechanism are different from its rigid counterparts, so does the structural synthesis method. In order to carry out its structural synthesis, a constraint graph representation for topological structure of compliant metamorphic mechanisms is introduced, which can not only represent the structure of a compliant metamorphic mechanism, but also describe the characteristics of its links and kinematic pairs. An adjacency matrix representation of the link relationships in a compliant metamorphic mechanism is presented according to the constraint graph. Then, a method for structural synthesis of compliant metamorphic mechanisms is proposed based on the adjacency matrix operations. The operation rules and the operation procedures of adjacency matrices are described through synthesis of the initial configurations composed of s+1 links from an s-link mechanism (the final configuration). The method is demonstrated by synthesizing all the possible four-link compliant metamorphic mechanisms that can transform into a three-link mechanism through combining two of its links. Sixty-five adjacency matrices are obtained in the synthesis, each of which corresponds to a compliant metamorphic mechanism having four links. Therefore, the effectiveness of the method is validated by a specific compliant metamorphic mechanism corresponding to one of the sixty-five adjacency matrices. The structural synthesis method is put into practice as a fully compliant metamorphic hand is presented based on the synthesis results. 8Surface Rupture of the 1515 Yongsheng Earthquake in Northwest Yunnan, and Its Seismogeological Implications显示文摘The 1515 M7? Yongsheng earthquake is the strongest earthquake historically in northwest Yunnan. However, its time, magnitude and the seismogenic fault have long been a topic of dispute. In order to accurately define those problems, a 1:50000 active tectonic mapping was carried out along the northern segment of the Chenghai–Binchuan fault zone. The result shows that there is an at least 25 km–long surface rupture and a series of seismic landslides distributed along the Jinguan fault and the Chenghai fault. Radiocarbon dating of the ^(14) C samples indicates that the surface rupture should be a part of the deformation zone caused by the Yongsheng earthquake in the year 1515. The distribution characteristics of this surface rupture indicate that the macroscopic epicenter of the 1515 Yongsheng earthquake may be located near Hongshiya, and the seismogenic fault of this earthquake is the Jinguan–Chenghai fault, the northern part of the Chenghai–Binchuan fault zone. Striations on the surface rupture show that the latest motion of the fault is normal faulting. The maximum co–seismic vertical displacement can be 3.8 m, according to the empirical formula for the fault displacement and moment magnitude relationship, the moment magnitude of the Yongsheng earthquake was Mw 7.3–7.4. Furthermore, combining published age data with the ^(14) C data in this paper reveals that at least four large earthquakes of similar size to the 1515 Yongsheng earthquake, have taken place across the northern segment of the Chenghai–Binchuan fault zone since 17190±50 yr. BP. 9Genomic insights into the fast growth of paulownias and the formation of Paulownia witches' broom显示文摘Paulownias are among the fastest growing trees in the world,but they often suffer tremendous loss of wood production due to infection by Paulownia witches'broom(PaWB)phytoplasmas.In this study,we have sequenced and assembled a high-quality nuclear genome of Paulownia fortunei,a commonly cultivated paulownia species.The assembled genome of P.fortunei is 511.6 Mb in size,with 93.2%of its sequences anchored to 20 pseudo-chromosomes,and it contains 31985 protein-coding genes.Phylogenomic analyses show that the family Paulowniaceae is sister to a clade composed of Phrymaceae and Orobanchaceae.Higher photosynthetic efficiency is achieved by integrating C3 photosynthesis and the crassulacean acid metabolism pathway,which may contribute to the extremely fast growth habit of paulownia trees.Comparative transcriptome analyses reveal modules related to cambial growth and development,photosynthesis,and defense responses.Additional genome sequencing of PaWB phytoplasma,combined with functional analyses,indicates that the effector PaWB-SAP54 interacts directly with Paulownia PfSPLa,which in turn causes the degradation of PfSPLa by the ubiquitin-mediated pathway and leads to the formation of witches'broom.Taken together,these results provide significant insights into the biology of paulownias and the regulatory mechanism for the formation of PaWB.Yabing Cao Guiling Sun Xiaoqiao Zhai Pingluo Xu Liming Ma Minjie Deng Zhenli Zhao Haibo Yang Yanpeng Dong Zhonghai Shang Yujie Lv Lijun Yan Haifang Liu Xibing Cao Bingbing Li Zhe Wang Xiaogai Zhao Haiyan Yu Fan Wang Wen Ma Jinling Huang Guoqiang Fan 2021Molecular Plant2021,14,10:7
10An adaptive-order particle filter for remaining useful life prediction of aviation piston pumps显示文摘An accurate estimation of the remaining useful life(RUL) not only contributes to an effective application of an aviation piston pump, but also meets the necessity of condition based maintenance(CBM). For the current RUL evaluation methods, a model-based method is inappropriate for the degradation process of an aviation piston pump due to difficulties of modeling, while a data-based method rarely presents high-accuracy prediction in a long period of time. In this work,an adaptive-order particle filter(AOPF) prognostic process is proposed aiming at improving long-term prediction accuracy of RUL by combining both kinds of methods. A dynamic model is initialized by a data-driven or empirical method. When a new observation comes, the prior state distribution is approximated by a current model. The order of the current model is updated adaptively by fusing the information of the observation. Monte Carlo simulation is employed for estimating the posterior probability density function of future states of the pump's degradation.With updating the order number adaptively, the method presents a higher precision in contrast with those of traditional methods. 11QTL Mapping for Cucumber Fruit Size and Shape with Populations from Long and Round Fruited Inbred Lines显示文摘To gain insight into the molecular and genetic basis of fruit size and shape in cucumber,we conducted Quantitative Trait Locus(QTL)mapping with F2 and BC1F1 populations derived froma cross between the Northern-China type inbred line CNS21 and the Southern-China type inbred line RNS7.Populations were evaluated during two developmental stages,ovary at anthesis and commercial fruit(immature fruit).A total of 13 major-effect QTLs(R2>10%)were detected for six traits,and one of them,fruit shape index 2.1,explained more than 50%of phenotypic variation.All QTLs distributed on chromosome(chr)1 and 2.We constructed a physical map containing almost all of the QTLs with their physical location from previous studies.For fruit size and shape,the highest number of QTLs were mapped on chr1 and chr6,and the fewest number were mapped on chr2 and chr7.At least one consensus region was presented on each chromosome.In addition,three candidate genes were predicted between the long-fruited and round-fruited inbred lines by comparing the sequences of the consensus region of chr3,where many QTLs for marketable fruit length had been detected.Our results provide a base for additional QTLs and molecular markers for fruit size and shape in cucumber breeding.Zhihui Gao Haiyang Zhang Chenxing Cao Jing Han Hao Li Zhonghai Ren 2020Horticultural Plant Journal2020,6,3:7
12Seismogenic Structure of the April 20, 2013, Lushan Ms7 Earthquake in Sichuan显示文摘At 08:02 on April 20, 2013, a Ms7.0 earthquake occurred in Lushan, Ya'an, in the Longmenshan fault zone, Sichuan. The epicenter was located between Taiping Town and Shuangshi Town, Lushan County and the maximum earthquake intensity at the epicenter reached class IX. Field investigations in the epicenter area found that, although buildings were seriously damaged, no obvious surface rupture structure was produced, only some ground fissures and sand blows and water ejection phenomena being seen. An integrated analysis of high-resolution remote sensing image interpretation, mainshock and aftershock distribution, and focal mechanism solutions indicated that this earthquake was an independent rupturing event in the southwestern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone, belonging to the thrust-type earthquake. Ruptures occurred along the south-central segment of the Shuangshi-Dachuan fault and the principal rupture plane dipped SW at 33-43°. It is inferred that the Lushan earthquake might be related to the ramp activity of the basal detachment zone (13-19 km) of the Longmenshan fault zone. Historically, there occurred at least two Ms6-6.5 earthquakes along the Shuangshi-Dachuan fault zone; thus it is thought that the Lushan earthquake, different from the Wenchuan earthquake, was a characteristic one in the southwestern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone. In-situ stress measurements indicated the Lushan earthquake was the result of stress release of the southwestern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone after the Wenchuan earthquake. 13Detection of cognitive impairment in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome using mismatch negativity显示文摘In this experiment,97 patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome were divided into three groups(mild,moderate,severe) according to minimum oxygen saturation,and 35 healthy subjects were examined as controls.Cognitive function was determined using the mismatch negativity paradigm and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.The results revealed that as the disease worsened,the mismatch negativity latency was gradually extended,and the amplitude gradually declined in patients with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome.Importantly,mismatch negativity latency in severe patients with a persistent time of minimum oxygen saturation < 60 seconds was significantly shorter than that with a persistent time of minimum oxygen saturation > 60 seconds.Correlation analysis revealed a negative correlation between minimum oxygen saturation latency and Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores.These findings indicate that intermittent night-time hypoxemia affects mismatch negativity waveforms and Montreal Cognitive Assessment scores.As indicators for detecting the cognitive functional status of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients,the sensitivity of mismatch negativity is 82.93%,the specificity is 73.33%,the accuracy rate is 81.52%,the positive predictive value is 85.00%,the negative predictive value is 70.21%,the positive likelihood ratio is 3,and the negative likelihood ratio is 0.23.These results indicate that mismatch negativity can be used as an effective tool for diagnosis of cognitive dysfunction in obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome patients.Xiaohui Wen Ningyu Wang Jinfeng Liu Zhanfeng Yan Zhonghai Xin 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,20:6
14Configuration Analysis of Metamorphic Mechanisms Based on Extended Adjacency Matrix Operations显示文摘The adjacency matrix operations,which connect with configuration transformation correspondingly,can be used for analysis of configuration transformation of metamorphic mechanisms and the corresponding algorithm can easily be simulated by computer.But the adjacency matrix based on monochrome topological graph is not suitable for the topological representation of mechanisms with multiple joints.The method of adjacency matrix operations has its own limitations for analysis of configuration transformation of metamorphic mechanisms because it can only be used in the topological representation of mechanisms with single joints.In order to overcome the drawback of the adjacency matrix,a kind of new matrix named as extended adjacency matrix is proposed to express topological structures of all mechanisms.The extended adjacency matrix is not only suitable for the topological representation of mechanisms with single joints,but also can be used in that of mechanisms with multiple joints.On this basis,a method of matrix operations based on the extended adjacency matrix is proposed to analyze the configuration transformation of metamorphic mechanisms.The method is not only suitable for configuration analysis of metamorphic mechanisms with single joints as well as metamorphic mechanisms with multiple joints.The method is evaluated by calculating two examples representing metamorphic mechanisms with single joint and multiple joints respectively.It can be concluded that the method is effective and correct for analysis of configuration transformation of all metamorphic mechanisms.The proposed method is simple and easy to be achieved by computer programming.It provides a basis for structural synthesis of all metamorphic mechanisms.LI Duanling ZHANG Zhonghai 2011Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2011,24,5:5
15Dynamics of thinning and destruction of the continental cratonic lithosphere: Numerical modeling显示文摘Thinning of the cratonic lithosphere is common in nature, but its destruction is not. In either case, the mechanisms for both thinning and destruction are still widely under debate. In this study, we have made a review on the processes and mechanisms of thinning and destruction of cratonic lithosphere according to previous studies of geological/geophysical observations and numerical simulations, with specific application to the North China Craton(NCC). Two main models are suggested for the thinning and destruction of the NCC, both of which are related to subduction of the oceanic lithosphere. One is the 'bottom-up' model, in which the deeply subducting slab perturbs and induces upwelling from the hydrous mantle transition zone(MTZ). The upwelling produces mantle convection and erodes the bottom of the overriding lithosphere by the fluid-meltperidotite reaction. Mineral compositions and rheological properties of the overriding lithospheric mantle are changed, allowing downward dripping of lithospheric components into the asthenosphere. Consequently, lithospheric thinning or even destruction occurs. The other is the 'top-down' model, characterized by the flat subduction of oceanic slab beneath the overriding cratonic lithosphere. Dehydration reactions from the subducting slab would significantly hydrate the lithospheric mantle and decrease its rheological strength. Then the subduction angle may be changed from shallow to steep, inducing lateral upwelling of the asthenosphere. This upwelling would heat and weaken the overriding lithospheric mantle, which led to the weakened lithospheric mantle dripping into the asthenosphere. These two models have some similarities, in that both take the subducting oceanic slab and relevant fluid migration as the major driving mechanism for thinning or destruction of the overriding cratonic lithosphere. The key difference between the two models is the effective depth of the subducting oceanic slab. One is stagnation and flattening in the MTZ, whereas the other is flat subduction at the bottom of the cratonic lithosphere. In the NCC, the eastern lithosphere was likely affected by subduction of the Izanagi slab during the Mesozoic, which would have perturbed the asthenosphere and the MTZ, and induced fluid migration beneath the NCC lithosphere. The upwelling fluid may largely have controlled the reworking of the NCC lithosphere. In order to discuss and analyze these two models further, it is crucial to understand the role of fluids in the subduction zone and the MTZ. Here, we systematically discuss phase transformations of hydrous minerals and the transport processes of water in the subduction system. Furthermore, we analyze possible modes of fluid activity and the problems to explore the applied feasibility of each model. In order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms for thinning and destruction of cratonic lithosphere, we also consider four additional possible dynamic models: extension-induced lithospheric thinning, compression-induced lithospheric thickening and delamination, large-scale mantle convection and thermal erosion, and mantle plume erosion. 16An Application-Oriented Cache Allocation and Prefetching Method for Long-Running Applications in Distributed Storage Systems显示文摘Characteristics of long-running applications in cloud and big data environment are various and significantly influence the performance of cache systems.The gap between existing cache systems and the increasing performance requirements motivates us to propose the Application-oriented cache allocation and prefetching method(ACAP)to improve data access performance.An application-oriented cache allocation approach is designed based on hit count growth rates for a higher overall hit rate.Two application-oriented sequential prefetching approaches are proposed to improve the hit rate and prefetching accuracy by learning average read sizes of long-running applications.Based on correlation of data accesses,a parallelized correlated-directed prefetching approach is proposed to further increase the hit rate.Above approaches are intergrated to obtain the maximized hit rate and prefetching accuracy.Experimental results on12 public real system traces show that ACAP achieves14.03%(up to 33.82%)higher prefetching accuracy and2.01%(up to 7.54%)higher hit rate compared with the best combination of baselines.GUO Chang LI Ying LIU Hongzhi WU Zhonghai 2019Chinese Journal of Electronics2019,28,4:4
17Population and genetic diversity of Tibetan red deer based on fecal DNA显示文摘The Tibet Shannan Red Deer Nature Reserve is the center of the geographic distribution of Tibetan red deer. This paper presents the results of DNA analysis of 199 red deer fecal pellet groups collected during 2013 and 2014 during the green-plant period. We successfully extracted DNA from 87 DNA pellet groups and determined individual identification with 12 microsatellite loci. We evaluated the genetic diversity of the population and various population estimates with Capwire in R software. The87 successfully extracted pellet groups were from 50 individuals. In the population, the average number of alleles was 7.58 ± 0.18, the average effective number of alleles was 4.58 ± 0.15, and average polymorphism information content was 0.67 ± 0.01. Among the 12 loci,only T123 was moderately polymorphic; the other 11 loci were highly polymorphic. Expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.45 to 0.91, with an average of 0.72 ± 0.01, and average observed heterozygosity was 0.52 ± 0.11.Although Tibetan red deer remains endangered, the high genetic diversity indicates that this population has a good chance of recovery. 18自然杀伤T细胞对小鼠肝癌移植瘤的抑制作用(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the inhibition effect of natural killer T(NKT) cells on transplantation hepatocellular carcinoma in mice.Methods:α-galactosylceramide(α-GalCer)-pulsed DC and Hep S were prepared as stimulus.Hepatoma xenograft model was established and mice were randomly divided into 4 groups(n=13 each group):(1) control group,intravenous injection of the same volume of saline.(2) mature DC group,intravenous injection of mature DC cells(4×106 cells).(3) α-GalCer-pulsed HepS group,intravenous injection of α-GalCer-pulsed HepS(4×106 cells).(4) α-GalCer-pulsed mature DC group,intravenous injection of α-GalCer-pulsed DC(4×106 cells).The changes of tumor volume in mice and survival period were measured every 2 days.Percentage of NKT cells in spleens and cytotoxicity of spleen cells were detected by flow cytometry.Tumor tissues were analyzed by histopathological examination.Results:In α-GalCer-pulsed Heps and DC groups,the average survival period was prolonged and tumor volume was markedly decreased,spleen cells and NKT cells were significantly increased,and tumor necrosis was evident,compared to the control group.Conclusion:α-GalCer-pulsed DC and HepS could activate NKT cells in vivo,also increase NKT cells cytotoxicity,inhibit the growth of hepatomas and prolong survival period.Fuxing Chen Hongdan Zhao Nanzheng Zhang Junquan Liu Zhonghai Zhou Leiqing Sun Yu Zhou 2011The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2011,10,5:3
19Dynamics of unstable continental subduction:Insights from numerical modeling显示文摘Numerical experiments are used in this study to systematically investigate the effects of convergence rate,crustal rheological strength,and lithospheric thermal structure on the dynamics of continental collision.The study focuses on the types,conditions and processes of unstable continental subduction.Modelling results suggest that the development of unstable continental subduction can be promoted by conditions that tend to decrease rheological strength of the lithosphere,such as low crustal rheological strength,'hot'thermal structure of the lithosphere,or low convergence rate.Unstable subduction mode can be further categorized into three types:(1)multi-stage slab breakoff,(2)continuously'flowing'of fluid-like slab into the upper mantle,and(3)large-scale detachment of the thickened orogenic root.These three types of unstable continental subduction are respectively associated with(1)a low convergence rate,(2)'hot'thermal structure of the lithosphere with a high convergence rate,and(3)moderate-high crustal rheological strength with a low convergence rate.It is also revealed that the evolution of crustal melting is dominated by the deformation pattern of continental collision,which is mainly controlled by crustal rheological strength.The modelling results have important implications for understanding of continental subduction mode selection under specific geodynamic conditions.HUANGFU PengPeng WANG YueJun FAN WeiMing LI ZhongHai ZHOU YongZhi 2017Science China Earth Sciences2017,60,2:3
20CsMYB60 directly and indirectly activates structural genes to promote the biosynthesis of flavonols and proanthocyanidins in cucumber显示文摘Flavonols and proanthocyanidins(PAs)are the main pigments in the black spines of cucumber(Cucumis sativus)fruit,and CsMYB60 is a key regulator of the biosynthesis of flavonols and PAs.However,in cucumber,the tissue distribution pattern of flavonols and PAs and the mechanism of their biosynthesis regulated by CsMYB60 remain unclear.In this study,we clarified the tissue-specific distribution of flavonoids and the unique transcriptional regulation of flavonoid biosynthesis in cucumber.CsMYB60 activated CsFLS and CsLAR by binding to their promoters and directly or indirectly promoted the expression of CsbHLH42,CsMYC1,CsWD40,and CsTATA-box binding protein,resulting in the formation of complexes of these four proteins to increase the expression of Cs4CL and interact with CsTATA-box binding protein to regulate the expression of CsCHS,thereby regulating the biosynthesis of flavonols and PAs in cucumber.Our data provide new insights into the molecular mechanism of flavonoid biosynthesis,which will facilitate molecular breeding to improve fruit quality in cucumber.Jialin Li Qianqian Luan Jing Han Cunjia Zhang Mengyu Liu Zhonghai Ren 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:3
