Clinical study of transcatheter occlusion in treating ventricular septal defect combined with right coronary cusp bulge显示文摘Background: Perimembranous ventricular septal defect combined with right coronary cusp bulge generally should be treated with surgical thoracotomy, owing to the potential aortic regurgitation. However, the minimally invasive method of transcatheter closure has always attracted the attention of cardiologists and patients. The present study aimed to apply transcatheter occlusion in treating ventricular septal defect with right coronary cusp bulge and further evaluate the clinical effect through follow-up. Materials and methods: A total of 40 children diagnosed as having a ventricular septal defect with right coronary cusp bulge, examined using transthoracic echocardiography and cardiovascular angiography, were enrolled in this study. The ventricular septal defects were closed by placing occluders through transcatheter occlusion treatment. During the operation process, the children underwent angiography and transthoracic echocardiography examinations to check the position of the occlude and the extent of aortic regurgitation. The influence of occlusion on the conduction system was evaluated using a surface electrocardiogram. The children were followed up after their procedures. Results: All 40 patients were immediately and successfully occluded. Three patients with filament residual shunts were observed during the operations. No major surgical complications occurred during the perioperative period. During the follow-up period, the positions of all the occluders were good, the residual shunts in the three patients disappeared, and no new or aggravated aortic regurgitation occurred. Electrocardiogram did not reveal any atrioventricular blocks. Only one patient suffered from an incomplete right bundle branch block. Conclusions: Children diagnosed with ventricular septal defect combined with right coronary cusp bulge could be considered for transcatheter occlusion. With appropriate indications and methods, the effect may be favorable. | Wei Ji Zhifang Zhang Wenchuo Zhao Jie Shen Lijun Fu Lin Shi Yiwei Chen Fen Li | 2018 | Journal of Interventional Medicine2018,1,4: | 3
MKP-1 reduces Aβ generation and alleviates cognitive impairments in Alzheimer’s disease models显示文摘Mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)phosphatase 1(MKP-1)is an essential negative regulator of MAPKs by dephosphorylating MAPKs at both tyrosine and threonine residues.Dysregulation of the MAPK signaling pathway has been associated with Alzheimer’s disease(AD).However, the role of MKP-1 in AD pathogenesis remains elusive. Here,we report that MKP-1 levels were decreased in the brain tissues of patients with AD and an AD mouse model. The reduction in MKP-1 gene expression appeared to be a result of transcriptional inhibition via transcription factor specificity protein 1(Sp1)cis-acting binding elements in the MKP-1 gene promoter.Amyloid-β(Aβ)-induced Sp1 activation decreased MKP-1 expression. However, upregulation of MKP-1 inhibited the expression of both Aβprecursor protein(APP)andβ-site APP-cleaving enzyme 1 by inactivating the extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK)/MAPK signaling pathway.Furthermore, upregulation of MKP-1 reduced Aβproduction and plaque formation and improved hippocampal long-term potentiation(LTP)and cognitive deficits in APP/PS1 transgenic mice. Our results demonstrate that MKP-1 impairment facilitates the pathogenesis of AD,whereas upregulation of MKP-1 plays a neuroprotective role to reduce Alzheimer-related phenotypes. Thus, this study suggests that MKP-1 is a novel molecule for AD treatment. | Yehong Du Yexiang Du Yun Zhang Zhilin Huang Min Fu Junjie Li Yayan Pang Peng Lei Yu Tian Wang Weihong Song Guiqiong He Zhifang Dong | 2019 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2019,4,1: | 2

Operational Reliability Model of Hybrid MMC Considering Multiple Time Scales and Multi-state Submodule显示文摘Environmental and electrical factors such as wind speed, air temperature and switching frequency have significant influences on the operational reliability of hybrid modular multilevel converter(MMC),which is commonly used for the wind power transmission. However, the existing reliability model of hybrid MMC based on statistics cannot accurately reflect the impact of these factors. In this paper,a new operational reliability model of hybrid MMC is presented. The reliability index of the hybrid MMC is coupled with its operation characteristics by calculating multi-term thermal cycling. In addition,an operation strategy of hybrid MMC is proposed to improve its reliability. The multi-state submodule(SM)is developed, which is capable of bypassing specific faulty power modules instead of the whole SM.Case studies show that the proposed operational reliability model could describe the impact of environmental and electrical factors. Also, the proposed operation strategy can improve the reliability of hybrid IMMC by extending the operation time of SMs. | Fei Feng Juan Yu Wei Dai Zhifang Yang Xingpan Zhao Salah Kamel Guobin Fu | 2021 | Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy2021,9,3: | 1
Vibration characteristics of a multi-block high-temperature superconducting maglev system显示文摘The multi-block high-temperature superconducting (HTS) maglev system has more complicated dynamic characteristics than the single-block HTS maglev system. To study its vibration characteristics, we designed a maglev measurement system. The system responses at the excitation frequencies of 2, 3 and 15 Hz were examined. Results show that the responses under excitation frequencies of 2 and 3 Hz include a 6 Hz component, which means that the maglev system is a critical nonlinear system. Moreover, the 6 Hz component is much stronger than the 2 Hz or 3 Hz components in the response spectra. There is the interaction between excitation and response. Under an excitation fre-quency of 15 Hz, intensified low-frequency perturbations were observed. | Zhifang FU Lifeng ZHAO Xing LIANG | 2012 | Journal of Modern Transportation2012,20,2: | 1
HSPM:A Better Model to Effectively Preventing Open-Source Projects from Dying显示文摘With the rapid development of Open-Source(OS),more and more software projects are maintained and developed in the form of OS.These Open-Source projects depend on and influence each other, gradually forming a huge OS project network, namely an Open-Source Software ECOsystem(OSSECO).Unfortunately, not all OS projects in the open-source ecosystem can be healthy and stable in the long term, and more projects will go from active to inactive and gradually die.In a tightly connected ecosystem, the death of one project can potentially cause the collapse of the entire ecosystem network. How can we effectively prevent such situations from happening? In this paper,we first identify the basic project characteristics that affect the survival of OS projects at both project and ecosystem levels through the proportional hazards model. Then,we utilize graph convolutional networks based on the ecosystem network to extract the ecosystem environment characteristics of OS projects. Finally,we fuse basic project characteristics and environmental project characteristics and construct a Hybrid Structured Prediction Model(HSPM)to predict the OS project survival state. The experimental results show that HSPM significantly improved compared to the traditional prediction model. Our work can substantially assist OS project managers in maintaining their projects’health. It can also provide an essential reference for developers when choosing the right open-source project for their production activities. | Zhifang Liao Fangying Fu Yiqi Zhao Sui Tan Zhiwu Yu Yan Zhang | 2023 | Computer Systems Science & Engineering2023,47,10: | 0
Frequency of Food Consumption Among Students Aged 8–15 Years—China,2019 and 2021显示文摘A balanced consumption of various types of food items plays a crucial role in students’physical and intellectual development, providing the foundation for their lifelong health(1).In recent years, the living standards in China have improved, leading to a steady improvement in the intake of various foods among Chinese students(2).However,uneven socioeconomic development and differing natural environments may lead to disparities in food consumption between rural and urban students(3).The prevalence of malnutrition among rural students has decreased but remains higher than among urban students(4).Furthermore,consumption of various healthy foods increased during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic as a means to boost immunity and promote health(5). | Yimeng Fu Juan Xu Qian Gan Titi Yang Peipei Xu Wei Cao Hongliang Wang Hui Pan Ruihe Luo Wenxin Sun Zhifang Wang Qian Zhang | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,24: | 0
