Metamorphic Characteristics and Tectonic Implications of the Kadui Blueschist in the Central Yarlung Zangbo Suture Zone,Southern Tibet显示文摘The Kadui blueschist is located in the central section of Yarlung Zangbo suture zone(YZSZ), southern Tibet, and has been subjected to the subduction of the Neo-Tethyan Ocean below the Asian Plate and provides important clues for better understanding the evolution of the India-Asia convergence zone. In this paper, the systematical petrographic and mineral chemical studies were carried out on the Kadui blueschist, which reveal a mineral assemblage of sodic amphibole, chlorite, epidote, albite and quartz with accessory minerals of titanite, calcite and zircon. Electron microprobe analyses demonstrate that amphibole shows zoned from actinolite core to ferrowinchite/riebeckite rim composition indicating that the sodic amphibole has formed during a prograde metamorphic event. The protolith of the blueschist is an intermediate-basic pyroclastic rock. The calculated pseudosection indicates a clockwise P-T path and constrains peak metamorphic conditions of about 5.9 kbar at 345 ℃. This condition is transitional between pumpellyite-actinolite, greenschist and blueschist facies with a burial depth of 20–22 km and a thermal gradient of 15–16 ℃/km. This thermal gradient belongs to high pressure intermediate P/T facies series and is possibly related to a warm subduction setting of young oceanic slabs. Our new findings indicate that the Kadui blueschist in the central part of YZSZ experienced a rapid subduction and exhumation process as a response to a northward subduction of the Neo-Tethyan oceanic lithosphere during the initial India-Asia collision stage. | Guangming Sun Xu-Ping Li WenYong Duan Shuang Chen Zeli Wang Lingquan Zhao Qingda Feng | 2018 | Journal of Earth Science2018,29,5: | 12

Metamorphic Petrology of Clinopyroxene Amphibolite from the Xigaze Ophiolite,Southern Tibet: P-T Constraints and Phase Equilibrium Modeling显示文摘The clinopyroxene amphibolite from the Bailang terrane is located in the central section of the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone(YZSZ),southern Tibet. The study of it is expected to provide important clues for the subduction of the Neo-Tethyan Ocean below the Asian Plate and thus for better understanding of the development of the India-Asia collision zone.Based on integrated textural, mineral compositional, metamorphic reaction history and geothermobarometric studies of the clinopyroxene amphibolite within a serpentinite mélange, four overprinted metamorphic stages are established. They are the first metamorphic record of M1 stage indicated by a relict assemblage of plagioclase+clinopyroxene+amphibole,an early M2 stage characterized by an assemblage of medium-grained clinopyroxene+amphibole+plagioclase+quartz as well as rutile inclusion in titanite, which is formed during burial process,an isobaric cooling M3 stage which is characterized by an assemblage of clinopyroxene+amphibole+plagioclase+titanite, and a decomposing retrograde stage M4,which is represented by the amphibolite+plagioclase symplectite+titanite+rutile+quartz.By applying the THERMOCALC(versions 6.2 and 6.3)technique in the NCFMASHTO system, the P-T conditions estimated from M1 to M4 stages are ca.8.6 kbar/880℃,10.8–13.4 kbar/800–840℃,12.7–13.2 kbar/650–660℃ and<11.2 kbar/640℃,respectively.The mineral assemblages and their P-T conditions define a counterclockwise P-T path for the clinopyroxene amphibolite of the Xigaze ophiolite, suggesting that the rocks underwent a cooling process during burial from magmatic protolith, and a decompressing stage after the pressure peak metamorphic conditions, which implies that the Bailang terrane of the Xigaze ophiolite may have experienced subduction/collision-related tectonic processes. The peak metamorphism reaches to the transitional P-T conditions among amphibolite facies, granulite facies and eclogite facies with a burial depth of 30–40 km.After exhumation of the ophiolitic unit to the shallow crustal levels, the clinopyroxene amphibolite exposes to a high fO2 condition on the basis of the stable epidotebearing assemblage in the T-MO2 diagrams.A late subgreenschist facies overprinting subsequently occurs, the relevant mineral assemblage is prehnite+albite+chlorite+epidote+quartz. | Yancheng Zhang Xu-Ping Li Guangming Sun Zeli Wang Wenyong Duan | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,3: | 7

Redefinition and Formation Age of the Tanjianshan Group in Xitieshan Region, Qinghai显示文摘The Tanjianshan Group, which was previously divided into a, b, c and d formations, has been controversial for a long time. It mainly distributes in the northern margin of Qaidam Basin and is an important early Paleozoic greenschist facies metamorphic volcanic sedimentary rock formation. Detailed field investigation and zircon LA-ICPMS U-Pb dating of the key strata suggest that the original lower part of a Formation(a-1) versus the original middle upper of d Formation(d-3 and d-4), the original upper part of a Formation(a-2) and b Formation versus the original lower part of d Formation(d-1 and d-2) of Tanjianshan Group are contemporaneous heterotopic facies volcanicclasolite deposit, respectively. The former formations formed during the middle-late Ordovician(463–458 Ma), while the latter ones formed in the late Ordovician(about 445 Ma). The original c formation of Tanjianshan Group, which formed after 430 Ma, is similar to the Maoniushan Formation of Kunlun Mountains and north Qaidam Basin. According to the rules of stratigraphic division and naming, new stratum formations of Tanjianshan Group are re-built and divided into Duancenggou(O1-2td), Zhongjiangou(O2-3tz) and Xitieshan(O3tx) formations. The original c Formation is separated from Tanjianshan Group and is renamed as the Wuminggou Formation(S3-D1w), which shows a discordant contact with underlying Tanjianshan Group and overlying Amunike Formation(D3a). The zircon U-Pb age frequency spectrogram of Tanjianshan Group indicates three prominent peaks of 430 Ma, 460 Ma and 908 Ma, which is consistent with the metamorphic and magmatic crystallization ages obtained from para- and orthogneisses in north Qaidam HP-UHP metamorphic belt, implying that strong Caledonian and Jinningian tectonic and magmatic events have ever happened in North Qaidam. | LIANG Xinquan FU Jiangang WANG Ce JIANG Ying ZHOU Yun YANG Yongqiang WANG Zeli PAN Chuanchu | 2014 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2014,88,2: | 3
Relationship between space charge and nonlinear characteristics of ZnO varistor显示文摘In order to reveal the conduction mechanism of ZnO varistor, the pulsed electroacoustic (PEA) measurement is employed to investigate the space charge distribution characteristics of ZnO varistors under different current densities in this paper. Experimental results show that the relationship between the space charge and the current density is consistent with the voltage-current characteristics, and can reflect the nonlinear characteristics of ZnO varistor. The space charge increases linearly with the increase of the electric field strength and the current density in the small current region, this reflects the decrease of the surface states of the grain boundary and changes of the Schottky barrier. There exists a transition region between the small current and middle current regions, where the current is composed of the current by the emission of thermally activated electrons and the tunneling current. In the middle current region, the space charge will decrease as the current increases, and will disappear with the depletion layer decreasing to zero. | WANG Qian TU YouPing DING LiJian JU ZeLi | 2011 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2011,54,7: | 2

Ethereum smart contract security research:survey and future research opportunities显示文摘Blockchain has recently emerged as a research trend, with potential applications in a broad range of industries and context. One particular successful Blockchain technology is smart contract, which is widely used in commercial settings(e.g.,high value financial transactions). This, however, has security implications due to the potential to financially benefit from a security incident(e.g.,identification and exploitation of a vulnerability in the smart contract or its implementation).Among,Ethereum is the most active and arresting.Hence,in this paper,we systematically review existing research efforts on Ethereum smart contract security, published between 2015 and 2019.Specifically,we focus on how smart contracts can be maliciously exploited and targeted, such as security issues of contract program model, vulnerabilities in the program and safety consideration introduced by program execution environment. We also identify potential research opportunities and future research agenda. | Zeli WANG Hai JIN Weiqi DAI Kim-Kwang Raymond CHOO Deqing ZOU | 2021 | Frontiers of Computer Science2021,15,2: | 1

Effects of salinity on the nail-holding power of dimension lumber used in light-frame wood building显示文摘We studied the effect of salinity on nail-holding power in wood construction. In saline solution, the holding power of nails was less than in purified water. With the increase of salt concentration, the surface and side nailholding power of the wood specimens both declined, but the differences between salinity treatments were not significant. However, compared to the surface and side nailholding power, the power on the edge was generally less and the difference was not obvious in different salt concentrations. In the same salt concentration, with the extension of the processing cycle, the performance of holding power of nails showed a downward trend, expect the temporary rise in the middle. | Zeli Que LingYang FeibinWang Xuna Zhu Yongbing Wang Takuro Mori | 2015 | Journal of Forestry Research2015,26,3: | 1

Record of Early-Stage Rodingitization from the Purang Ophiolite Complex,Western Tibet显示文摘Rodingitization, commonly coupled with serpentinization of ultramafic rocks, bears significant information for fluid-rock interactions and element transfer from sea-floor to subduction zone environments.Numerous outcrops of rodingites are exposed along the Yarlung Zangbo suture zone(YZSZ)of southern Tibet, providing us an excellent opportunity to probe the petrogenetic processes, and unravel their implications for regional tectonic evolution.Several studies have been performed on rodingites from the eastern to central portions of the YZSZ,whereas limited work has ever been conducted on rodingitized rocks from the western segment of the YZSZ,precluding a comprehensive understanding of this lithological type.In this paper,we present detailed studies of petrology,mineral,whole-rock geochemistry and phase equilibrium modeling on a suite of newly recognized rodingites within the Purang ophiolite massif in the southwestern part of the YZSZ.The rodingites have a major metasomatic mineral association of chlorite, clinozoisite, amphibole and minor amounts of plagioclase, representing products of an early-stage rodingitization. They generally present compositions of low SiO2(48.89 wt.%–53.57 wt.%),Fe2O3^T(3.77 wt.%–5.56 wt.%),Na2O(1.31 wt.%–1.93 wt.%),Al2O3(4.78 wt.%–8.84 wt.%),moderate CaO(9.69 wt.%–11.23 wt.%),and high MgO(24.11 wt.%–26.08 wt.%)concentrations with extremely high Mg^# values[Mg^#=100×Mg/(Mg+Fe^2+)molar]of 89–92.Bulk-rock recalculation reveals that the rodingites have a protolith of mantle-derived olivine gabbro or gabbronorite. They have low rare earth element compositions(∑REE=2.4 ppm–6.5 ppm)and are characterized by flat LREE and slightly enriched HREE patterns with positive Eu anomalies;they also exhibit positive anomalies in Sr,U and Pb and negative anomalies in high-field strength elements, including Nb,P and Ti,suggesting for a subduction-zone imprinting.Phase equilibrium modeling shows that the rodingitization did take place at P<2 kbar and T=~350–400℃,consistent with low greenschist facies conditions.Taking into account of all these petrological and geochemical features,we propose that the rodingites record evidence of early-stage fluid-rock interactions between olivine gabbroic rocks and Ca-rich fluids, which may have derived from weakly serpentinized ultramafic country rocks.Although this process may initially have occurred in a mid-ocean ridge setting,an obvious overprinting by supra-subduction zone fluids in a fore-arc environment is recognized. | Songjie Wang Xu-Ping Li Wenyong Duan Fanmei Kong Zeli Wang | 2019 | Journal of Earth Science2019,30,6: | 1
