1Low-altitude small-sized object detection using lightweight feature-enhanced convolutional neural network显示文摘Unauthorized operations referred to as“black flights”of unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)pose a significant danger to public safety,and existing low-attitude object detection algorithms encounter difficulties in balancing detection precision and speed.Additionally,their accuracy is insufficient,particularly for small objects in complex environments.To solve these problems,we propose a lightweight feature-enhanced convolutional neural network able to perform detection with high precision detection for low-attitude flying objects in real time to provide guidance information to suppress black-flying UAVs.The proposed network consists of three modules.A lightweight and stable feature extraction module is used to reduce the computational load and stably extract more low-level feature,an enhanced feature processing module significantly improves the feature extraction ability of the model,and an accurate detection module integrates low-level and advanced features to improve the multiscale detection accuracy in complex environments,particularly for small objects.The proposed method achieves a detection speed of 147 frames per second(FPS)and a mean average precision(mAP)of 90.97%for a dataset composed of flying objects,indicating its potential for low-altitude object detection.Furthermore,evaluation results based on microsoft common objects in context(MS COCO)indicate that the proposed method is also applicable to object detection in general.YE Tao ZHAO Zongyang ZHANG Jun CHAI Xinghua ZHOU Fuqiang 2021Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2021,32,4:5
2Applied research on serum protein fingerprints for prediction of Qi deficiency syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘OBJECTIVE:This study screened serum tumor biomarkers by surface enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry(SELDI-TOF-MS) to establish a subset which could be used for the prediction of Qi deficiency syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis in patients with non-small cell lung cancer;and as diagnostic model of Chinese medicine.METHODS:Serum samples from 63 lung cancer patients with Qi deficiency syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis,and 28 lung cancer patients with non-Qi deficiency syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis were analyzed using SELDI-TOF-MS with a PBS II-C protein chip reader.Protein profiles were generated using immobilized metal affinity capture(IMAC3) protein chips.Differentially-expressed proteins were screened.Protein peak clustering and classification analyses were performed using Biomarker Wizard and Biomarker Pattern software packages,respectively.RESULTS:A total of 268 effective protein peaks were detected in the 1,000-10,000 Da molecular range for the 15 serum proteins screened(P<0.05).The decision tree model was M 2284.97,with a sensitivity of 96.2% and a specificity of 66.7%.CONCLUSION:SELDI-TOF-MS techniques,combined with a decision tree model,can help identify serum proteomic biomarkers related to Qi deficiency syndrome and phlegm and blood stasis in lung cancer patients;and the predictive model can be used to discriminate between Chinese medicine diagnostic models of disease.Zhizhen Liu Zongyang Yu Xuenong OuYang Jian Du Xiaopeng Lan Meng Zhao 2012Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2012,32,3:1

4Molecular basis and homeostatic regulation of Zinc taste显示文摘Dear Editor,Among all the essential trace metals,zinc is of particular importance for its huge panoply of biological functions.As a pivotal element for hundreds of enzymes,either scarcity or accumulation of body zinc can lead to severe disorders(Maret,2017).Therefore,body zinc must be tightly regulated in order to keep a precise amount that is sufficient for cells’survival but does not cause toxicity.As diet is the major source of trace elements including zinc,animals must adjust their feeding amount and preference to avoid scarcity or accumulation.However,how animal utilize their gustatory organs to detect zinc in food and whether the taste is regulated with body zinc level are unknown.Metals often cause the sense of taste termed as metallic taste.While sodium of certain concentration range delivers hedonic salty taste,salt solutions of most metals taste aversive.It was reported that zinc,copper and other heavy metal ions trigger an unpleasant sense of astringent/drying,sour or bitter.Although taste receptor cells were found essential for the detection of some divalent ions,the molecular mechanisms for this detection are largely elusive.Recently,the receptors for calcium were unambiguously identified in fruit fly(Lee et al.,2018).However,a full repertoire of receptors for sensing divalent ions is still lacking.Rui Luo Yuxiang Zhang Yinjun Jia Yan Zhang Zongyang Li Jieqing Zhao Ting Liu Wei Zhang 2022Protein & Cell2022,13,6:0
5Phenomenology of heavy neutral gauge boson at muon collider显示文摘Heavy neutral gauge boson Z' is proposed in many new physics models.It has rich phenomena at the future muon collider.We study the properties of Z' boson with the process of μ^(+)μ^(-)→qq,μ^(+)μ^(-)→l^(+)l^(-),μ^(+)μ^(-)→ ZH and μ^(+)μ^(-)→ W^(+)W^(-).The discrepancy of Z' coupling to different types of particles can be shown in the cross section distributions around the resonance peak of various decay modes.Angular distributions of the final quark or lepton in μ^(+)μ^(-)→qq/l^(+)l^(-)process are sensitive to the parameters such as mass of Z' and the Z-Z' mixing angle.The interaction of new gauge boson coupling to the standard model gauge particles and Higgs boson are also studied through μ^(+)μ^(-)→ ZH→l^(+)l^(-)bb and μ^(+)u^(-)→ W^(+)W^(-)→l^(+)l^(-)v_(l)v_(l).The cross section and the final particles' angular distributions with the contribution of Z' boson differ from those processes with only standard model particles.A forward-backward asymmetry defined by the angular distribution is provided to show the potential of searching for new physics at the muon collider.Especially,the beam polarization with certain value can effectively enlarge the forward-backward asymmetry.Zongyang Lu Honglei Li Zhi-Long Han Zong-Guo Si Liuxin Zhao 2024Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2024,67,3:0
