1Formation and Transportation of High-Salinity Water Produced in Polynyas South of the St.Lawrence Island显示文摘The authors studied variations of temperature and salinity in seawater under sea ice using hydrologic data collected from polynyas south of the St.Lawrence Island during March of 2008 and 2009.The results indicate that the high-salinity water found during the cruises of 2008 and 2009 was due to the formation of polynyas.The salinity observed in 2008 was higher than that in 2009 as a result of higher salt production in 2008.The spatial distributions of high-salinity cores differed between the two cruises.In March 2008, a southeastward flow was formed under the persistent northerly wind in the observation region, which transported the high-salinity water produced by the polynyas to the southeast.The similar flow, however, did not exist in March 2009 because the northerly wind over the study area was interrupted by a southerly wind.Accordingly, the polynyas and the high-salinity water pro-duced by them existed for a short time.As a result, the high-salinity water in 2009 did not spread very far, and stayed within the polynyas.In addition, during the 2009 cruise, two stages of observations in the polynyas showed the core of high-salinity water was shifted to the southwest of the St.Lawrence Island.This result suggested that a southwestward flow might have existed in the area at the onset of the northerly wind, which was consistent with the alongshore and/or offshore flows caused by the northerly wind.FU Hongli ZHAO Jinping SHI Jiuxin JIAO Yutian 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,4:3
2Floralozone protects endothelial function in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1显示文摘Endothelial dysfunction is the pathological basis of atherosclerosis.Incomplete understanding of endothelial dysfunction etiology has impeded drug development for this devastating disease despite the currently available therapies.Floralozone,an aroma flavor,specifically exists in rabbit ear grass.Recently,floralozone has been demonstrated to inhibit atherosclerosis,but the underlying mechanisms are undefined.The present study was undertaken to explore whether floralozone pharmacologically targets endothelial dysfunction and therefore exerts therapeutic effects on atherosclerosis.The Na+/H+exchanger 1(NHE1),a channel protein,plays a vital role in atherosclerosis.Whether NHE1 is involved in the therapeutic effects of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction has yet to be further answered.By performing oil red staining and hematoxylin–eosin staining,vascular functional study,and oxidative stress monitoring,we found that floralozone not only reduced the size of carotid atherosclerotic plaque but also prevented endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerotic rats.NHE1 expression was upregulated in the inner membrane of carotid arteries and H2O2-induced primary rat aortic endothelial cells.Inspiringly,floralozone prevented the upregulation of NHE1 in vivo and in vitro.Notably,the administration of NHE1 activator LiCl significantly weakened the protective effect of floralozone on endothelial dysfunction in vivo and in vitro.Our study demonstrated that floralozone exerted its protective effect on endothelial dysfunction in atherosclerosis by ameliorating NHE1.NHE1 maybe a drug target for the treatment of atherosclerosis,and floralozone may be an effective drug to meet the urgent needs of atherosclerosis patients by dampening NHE1.Ning Huang Yue Qiu Yanhua Liu Tianheng Liu Xianjun Xue Ping Song Jian Xu Yutian Fu Ruili Sun Yaling Yin Peng Li 2021Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,10:2
3实时荧光定量RT-PCR检测鼻咽癌Survivin mRNA基因表达(英文)显示文摘Objective: To establish the method of real time fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR for detecting the expression of Survivin mRNA in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) tissues. Methods: The total RNA was extracted from NPC cell line CNE-2 and tissues with Trizol and then been transcribed reversely to cDNA, a method of real time fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR for detecting the expression of Survivin mRNA in NPC tissues had been established, in which chronic nasopharyngitis patients' nasopharynx tissues treated as control group. Results: The expression of Survivin mRNA all could be detected either in CNE-2 cells, NPC tissues or in chronic nasopharyngitis patients' nasopharynx tissues, and there was higher the expression level of Survivin mRNA in NPC tissues than which in chronic nasopharyngitis patients' nasopharynx tissues, the difference was significant (P < 0.01). The expression of Survivin mRNA could be detected both in stage I + II and stage III + IV NPC, and there was no significant difference in relative quantifications of gene expression between these two groups (P > 0.05). There was no relationship between Survivin mRNA expression and age and sex of NPC patients (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Real time fluorescence quantitative RT-PCR is a rapid, effective and high sensitive method for detecting the expression of Survivin mRNA in NPC tissues. 4Variations in the Microstructure and Properties of Mn-Ti Multiple-phase Steel with High Strength under Different Tempering Temperatures显示文摘There are few relevant researches on coils by tempering,and the variations of microstructure and properties of steel coil during the tempering process also remain unclear.By using thermo-mechanical control process(TMCP)technology,Mn-Ti typical HSLA steel coils with yield strength of 920 MPa are produced on the 2250 hot rolling production line.Then,the samples are taken from the coils and tempered at the temperatures of 220℃,350℃,and 620℃respectively.After tempering the strength,ductility and toughness of samples are tested,and meanwhile microstructures are investigated.Precipitates initially emerge inside the ferrite laths and the density of the dislocation drops.Then,the lath-shaped ferrites begin to gather,and the retained austenite films start to decompose.Finally,the retained austenite films are completely decomposed into coarse and short rod-shape precipitates composed of C and Ti compounds.The yield strength increases with increasing tempering temperature due to the pinning effect of the precipitates,and the dislocation density decreases.The yield strength is highest when the steel is tempered at 220℃because of pinning of the precipitates to dislocations.The total elongation increases in all samples because of the development of ferrites during tempering.The tensile strength and impact absorbed energy decline because the effect of impeding crack propagation weakens as the retained austenite films completely decompose and the precipitates coarsen.This paper clarifies the influence of different tempering temperatures on phase transformation characteristics and process of Mn-Ti typical multiphase steels,as well as its resulting performance variation rules.LI Dazhao LI Xiaonan CUI Tianxie LI Jianmin WANG Yutian FU Peimao 2015Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2015,28,2:1
5Nonlinear Fourier transform enabled eigenvalue spectrum investigation for fiber laser radiation显示文摘Fiber lasers are a paradigm of dissipative systems,which distinguish themselves from a Hamilton system where energy is conservative.Consequently,pulses generated in a fiber laser are always accompanied by the continuous wave(CW).Under certain hypothesis,pulses generated in a fiber laser can be considered as a soliton,a product of a Hamilton system.Therefore,all the descriptions of solitons of a fiber laser are approximate.Coexistence of solitons and the CW from a fiber laser prevents unveiling of real nonlinear dynamics in fiber lasers,such as soliton interactions.Pulse behavior in a fiber laser can be represented by the state of single pulse,the state of period doubling of single pulse,the states of two pulses either tightly bound or loosely distributed,the states of three pulses,and various combinations of the above-mentioned states.Recently,soliton distillation was proposed and numerically demonstrated based on the nonlinear Fourier transform(NFT)[J.Lightwave Technol.39,2542(2021)].Solitons can be separated from the coherent CW background.Therefore,it is feasible to isolate solitons from CW background in a fiber laser.Here,we applied the NFT to various pulses generated in a fiber laser,including single pulse,single pulse in period doubling,different double pulses,and multiple pulses.Furthermore,with the approach of soliton distillation,the corresponding pure solitons of those pulses are reconstructed.Simulation results suggest that the NFT can be used to identify soliton dynamics excluding CW influence in a fiber laser,which paves a new way for uncovering real soliton interaction in nonlinear systems.YUTIAN WANG SONGNIAN FU JIAN KONG ANDREY KOMAROV MARIUSZ KLIMCZAK RYSZARD BUCZY'n SKI XIAHUI TANG MING TANG YUWEN QIN LUMING ZHAO 2021Photonics Research2021,9,8:1
6Mitochondrial Regulation of Macrophages in Innate Immunity and Diverse Roles of Macrophages During Cochlear Inflammation显示文摘Macrophages are essential components of the innate immune system and constitute a non-specific first line of host defense against pathogens and inflammation.Mitochondria regulate macrophage activation and innate immune responses in various inflammatory diseases,including cochlear inflammation.The distribution,number,and morphological characteristics of cochlear macrophages change significantly across different inner ear regions under various pathological conditions,including noise exposure,ototoxicity,and age-related degeneration.However,the exact mechanism underlying the role of mitochondria in macrophages in auditory function remains unclear.Here,we summarize the major factors and mitochondrial signaling pathways(e.g.,metabolism,mitochondrial reactive oxygen species,mitochondrial DNA,and the inflammasome)that influence macrophage activation in the innate immune response.In particular,we focus on the properties of cochlear macrophages,activated signaling pathways,and the secretion of inflammatory cytokines after acoustic injury.We hope this review will provide new perspectives and a basis for future research on cochlear inflammation.Yuan Zhang Fanglei Ye Xiaolong Fu Shen Li Le Wang Yutian Chen Hongmin Li Shaojuan Hao Kun Zhao Qi Feng Peipei Li 2024Neuroscience Bulletin2024,40,2:0
7Broadband light management in hydrogel glass for energy efficient windows显示文摘Windows are critically important components in building envelopes that have a signifcant efect on the integral energy budget.For energy saving,here we propose a novel design of hydrogel-glass which consists of a layer of hydrogel and a layer of normal glass.Compared with traditional glass,the hydrogel-glass possesses a higher level of visible light transmission,stronger near-infrared light blocking,and higher mid-infrared thermal emittance.With these properties,hydrogel-glass based windows can enhance indoor illumination and reduce the temperature,reducing energy use for both lighting and cooling.Energy savings ranging from 2.37 to 10.45 MJ/m2 per year can be achieved for typical school buildings located in diferent cities around the world according to our simulations.With broadband light management covering the visible and thermal infrared regions of the spectrum,hydrogel-glass shows great potential for application in energy-saving windows.Jia Fu Chunzao Feng Yutian Liao Mingran Mao Huidong Liu Kang Liu 2022Frontiers of Optoelectronics2022,15,3:0
