Characterization of event-related potentials in obsessive compulsive disorder patients: Comparison with depression and generalized anxiety disorder patients显示文摘BACKGROUND: Study results of event-related potential in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) remain controversial, potentially as a result of different instruments utilized and their differing technical characteristics. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the differences in several common event-related potentials, i.e. contingent negative variations, P300, and mismatch negativity (MMN), in OCD patients, depression patients, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) patients, and healthy controls. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A case-control study was performed in the Department of Electrophysiology, Shanghai Mental Health Center from May 2002 to December 2005. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 38 OCD patients, 20 depression patients, and 18 GAD patients, who were diagnosed according to the criteria of Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders (Version 3), formulated by the Chinese Psychiatry Association, were selected from the Outpatient Department o Shanghai Mental Health Center. Patients with two or more the above diseases were excluded. In addition, 28 healthy people, gender and age matched, were selected as controls. METHODS: Contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN were recorded by a Nicolet Spirit Instrument. All electrodes were attached at Cz according to the International 10-20 system, with the mastoid leads as reference and Fpz as ground. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Amplitude and latency of contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN. RESULTS: The contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN were different (P < 0.01). OCD patients showed an increased M1 amplitude compared with controls, depression, and GAD patients (P < 0.01). Target P300 amplitudes were significantly lower in OCD, depression, and GAD patients compared with controls (P < 0.01). Moreover, N2 latency and latency of MMN were prolonged in OCD and depression groups compared with controls (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Event-related potentials were different in depression, GAD, and OCD patients and healthy controls. In particular, OCD patients exhibited unique characteristics.Yingzhi Lu Wenbin Zong Hanzhen Dong Faxin Wang Jinyu PU Xingshi Chen Yunxiang Tang 2010Neural Regeneration Research2010,5,12:5
First experimental constraints on WIMP couplings in the effective field theory framework from CDEX显示文摘We present weakly interacting massive particles(WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment(CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level(C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low mχregion. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. We for the first time extended the limit to the m_(χ)<6 GeV/c^(2) region.Yi Wang Zhi Zeng Qian Yue LiTao Yang KeJun Kang YuanJing Li Mehment Agartioglu HaiPeng An JianPing Chang JingHan Chen YunHua Chen JianPing Cheng Cheng Yi Chiang WenHan Dai Zhi Deng ChangHao Fang XinPing Geng Hui Gong QiuJu Guo XuYuan Guo HongJian He Li He ShengMing He JinWei Hu TuChen Huang HanXiong Huang HaiTao Jia LiPing Jia Xi Jiang HauBin Li JianMin Li Jin Li MingXuan Li RenMingJie Li Xia Li YuLan Li Bin Liao FongKay Lin ShinTed Lin ShuKui Liu YanDong Liu Yu Liu YuanYuan Liu ZhongZhi Liu Hao Ma YuCai Mao QiYuan Nie JinHua Ning Hui Pan NingChun Qi Jie Ren XiChao Ruan ChangSong Shang Vivek Sharma Ze She Lakhwinder Singh Monoj Kumar Singh TianXi Sun ChangJian Tang WeiYou Tang Yang Tian GuangFu Wang Li Wang Qing Wang Yu Chen Wang YunXiang Wang Zhen Wang Henry Tsz-King Wong ShiYong Wu YuCheng Wu HaoYang Xing Yin Xu Tao Xue YuLu Yan Nan Yi ChunXu Yu HaiJun Yu JianFeng Yue Ming Zeng BingTao Zhang Lei Zhang FengShou Zhang ZhenYu Zhang KangKang Zhao MingGang Zhao JiFang Zhou ZuYing Zhou JingJun Zhu 2021Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2021,64,8:3
Characterization of Pythium chondricola associated with red rot disease of Pyropia yezoensis (Ueda)(Bangiales,Rhodophyta) from Lianyungang,China显示文摘Pyropia yezoensis(formerly Porphyra yezoensis)is an economically important red alga that is cultured extensively in China. The red rot disease occurs commonly during Pyropia cultivation, causing serious economic losses. An incidence of red rot disease was found in a P.yezoensis farm from mid-November to mid-December 2015 at Lianyungang,Jiangsu Province,China.Histopathological examination revealed that the naturally infected thalli were infected apparently by a pathogen, leading to red rot symptoms. The causative agent was isolated and identified as the oomycete Pythium chondricola by morphological analysis and sequence analysis of the internal transcribed spacer and cytochrome oxidase subunit 1(cox 1).In artifi cial infection experiments on the P.yezoensis blades, the P.chondricola isolate was able to cause the same characteristic histopathology seen in natural infections.P.chondricola grew well at a wide range of temperatures in the range 8-31℃,salinities at 0-45 and pH 5-9.In an orthogonal test used to determine the effects of environmental factors(temperature, salinity, and zoospore concentration)on infection, the data revealed that temperature was the most important factor to affect red rot disease development, with the optimal conditions for disease expansion being 20℃,35 salinity, and a zoospore concentration of 10^6 zoospores/mL.The results obtained from the present study prompted us to set up a comprehensive epidemiological study on Pyropia, which will provide support to maintain the healthy development of the Pyropia industry in China.QIU Liping MAO Yunxiang TANG Lei TANG Xianghai MO Zhaolan 2019Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2019,37,3:3

Defensive physiological characters of Pyropia yezoensis resistant lines to the red rot disease显示文摘To explore ef fective physiological indexes to distinguish the resistant lines and susceptible lines of Pyt hium porphyrae, the causal agent of red rot disease of Pyropia yezoensis, and establish the disease-resistance breeding strategy,we obtained and analyzed the candidate resistant and susceptible lines by population selection.Gametophytes of the candidate lines were cultured in seawater containing Pyt.porphyrae zoospores.Antioxidase activities, including superoxide dismutase(SOD),peroxidase(POD)and polyphenol oxidase(PPO),were measured and compared between the two lines before and after infection. In the resistant lines,SOD and POD activities increased and then decreased, but PPO activity rose with the prolongation of the infection time. The phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)activities also increased and then decreased after infection, but it had significantly different expression in the two lines without pathogen attack. The synthesis rates ofβ-1,3-glucanase,and cell-wall degrading enzyme were different from each other between the two lines after infection of P yt.porphyrae.Comparison in the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA)and reactive oxygen species(ROS)in the two lines showed that, the two contents varied synchronously in response to the pathogen attack.Changes of these enzymes activities or contents demonstrated that Pyr.yezoensis could resist against the pathogen of P yt.porphyrae with the antioxidant defense capacity. In addition,β-1.3-glucanase content showed extremely significant dif ference between the two lines, and the PAL had consistent expression dif ference. Therefore, phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)andβ-1,3-glucanase can be considered as an ef fective index to distinguish susceptible line and resistant line, with which the workload of the resistant breeding could be reduced in the future.ZOU Dandan TANG Xianghai QIU Liping MAO Yunxiang 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,2:1
Finite Water Depth Effect on Wave-Body Problems Solved by Rankine Source Method显示文摘Finite water depth effect for wave-body problems are studied by continuous Rankine source method and non-desingularized technique.Free surface and seabed surface profiles are represented by continuous panels rather than a discretization by isolated points. These panels are positioned exactly on the fluid boundary surfaces and therefore no desingularization technique is required.Space increment method is applied for both free surface source and seabed source arrangements to reduce computational cost and improve numerical efficiency.Fourth order Runge-Kutta iteration scheme is adopted on the free surface updating at every time step. The finite water depth effect is studied quantitatively for a series of cylinders with different B/T ratios. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed model are validated by comparison with published numerical results and experimental data.Numerical results show that hydrodynamic coefficients vary for cylinder bodies with different ratios of B/T.For certain set of B/T ratios the effect of finite water depth increases quickly with the increase of motion frequency and becomes stable when frequency is relatively large. It also shows that water depths have larger hydrodynamic effects on cylinder with larger breadth to draft ratios. Both the heave added mass and damping coefficients increase across the frequency range with the water depths decrease for forced heave motion. The water depths have smaller effects on sway motion response than on heave motion response.FENG Aichun TANG Peng YOU Yunxiang LIU Kaizhou 2017Journal of Ocean University of China2017,16,2:1
Near infrared light-induced dynamic modulation of enzymatic activity through polyphenol-functionalized liquid metal nanodroplets显示文摘Dynamic manipulation of enzymatic activity is a challenging task for applications in chemical and pharmaceutical industries due to the difficult modification and variable conformation of various enzymes. Here, we report a new strategy for reversible dynamic modulation of enzymatic activity by near-infrared light-induced photothermal conversion based on polyphenol-functionalized liquid metal nanodroplets(LM). The metal-phenolic nanocoating not only provides colloidal stability of LM nanodroplets but also generates nanointerfaces for the assembly of various enzymes on the LM nanodroplets. Upon near infrared(NIR) irradiation, the localized microenvironmental heating through photothermal effect of the LM nanodroplets allows tailoring the enzymatic activity without affecting the bulk temperature. A library of functional enzymes, including proteinase K, glucoamylase, glucose oxidase, and Bst DNA polymerase, is integrated to perform a reversible control and enhanced activities even after five times of cycles, demonstrating great potential in bacterial fermentation, bacteriostasis, and target gene amplification.Chaojun Zhang Yang Tang Qin Wang Yunxiang He Xiaoling Wang Sebastian Beyer Junling Guo 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,2:0
PtCu-SnO_(2)nanocomposites for ultrasensitive and rapid ultra-low formaldehyde sensing显示文摘SnO 2 nanospheres with diameters of 30∼50 nm and Pt x Cu 1-x bimetallic nanoparticles with sizes of approxi-mately 10 nm were synthesized via hydrothermal and solvothermal methods, respectively. The Pt x Cu 1-x bimetal-lic nanoparticles were impregnated on the surface of the SnO 2 spheres to form Pt x Cu 1-x-SnO 2 nanocomposites.By varying the atomic ratios between platinum(Pt)and copper(Cu),we found that Pt 0.75 Cu 0.25-SnO 2,with a large specific surface area of 89.21 m 2/g,enabled the selective and accurate detection of low-concentration formalde-hyde compared to other metal-deposited samples and pure SnO 2.The response value of Pt 0.75 Cu 0.25-SnO 2 to 500×10−9 formaldehyde was approximately 20 at an operating temperature of 160◦C with an extremely high-speed response(15 s).The porous structures with large specific surface areas,as well as the improved catalytic effects of Pt 0.75 Cu 0.25,comprehensively contributed to the enhanced sensing performance towards formaldehyde.Zejun Han Yunxiang Tang Guixia Lu Yuan Qi Hao Wu Zhengyi Yang Hecheng Han Xue Zhang Lili Wu Zhou Wang Jiurong Liu Fenglong Wang 2022ChemPhysMater2022,1,3:0
Development of organelle single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers and their application for the identification of cytoplasmic inheritance patterns in Pyropia yezoensis (Bangiales,Rhodophyta)显示文摘The genus Pyropia contains several important cultivated species.Genetic research in nori species has mainly focused on the cell nucleus, with few studies on organelles(chloroplast and mitochondria).Due to the high copy numbers of organelles in cells, which influence the development and traits of algae,it is necessary to study their genetic mechanism. In this study, the marine red alga Pyropia yezoensis,an important economic macroalga, was selected as the study object. To investigate organelle(chloroplast and mitochondria)inheritance in P.yezoensis, the wild type RZ(maternal strain)was crossed with the red mutant HT(paternal strain)and 30 color-sectors from 11 F1 gametophytic blades were examined. The complete chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes of the red mutant(HT)were assembled for the first time. One reliable and stable single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)loci filtrated by bioinformatics analysis was used as a molecular marker for chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA,respectively,in subsequent experiments.PCR amplification and sequence analysis showed that the haplotypes of color-sectors detected were consistent with those of the maternal parent, confirming that both chloroplast and mitochondrial genomes were inherited maternally in P.yezoensis.The inheritance pattern of organelles in P.yezoensis can be used to guide the hybridization and breeding of nori.Additionally, the organelle SNP markers developed in this study can be applied in subsequent genetic research.Lu WANG Junhao WANG Yunke ZHU Zhengcai CUI Fanna KONG Xianghai TANG Yunxiang MAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,4:0
Cytological and transcriptional analysis reveal phosphatidylinositol signaling pathway plays key role in mitotic division of Pyropia yezoensis显示文摘The phosphatidylinositol(PI)signaling system,a central regulator of eukaryotic metabolism,is widely found in eukaryotes for regulating a variety of cell activities. Most of the genes in the PI signaling system were found conserved in Pyropia yezoensis. In this experiment, wortmannin was used as an inhibitor to inhibit the activity of phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase(PI3K),an important regulator of the PI signaling system. After wortmannin treatment, the mitotic division of P.yezoensis was signifi cantly inhibited in a dose-dependent manner, and the mitotic division percentage was reduced by 68.1%and 91.9%in the 5-and 10-μmol/L groups, respectively. When thalli were treated with wortmannin, the levels of reactive oxygen species(ROS)were signifi cantly decreased.Furthermore, the expression level of PI3K was inhibited and the expression levels of downstream genes regulated by PI3K was signifi cantly changed. In the PI3K-AGC signaling pathway, the expression levels of Serine/threonine protein kinase(AGC)and cyclindependent kinases A(CDKA)were downregulated, while WEE1 kinase gene(WEE1)was upregulated.Three nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate(NADPH)oxidase genes were downregulated after wortmannin treatment. These results indicate that the PI signaling system plays an important role in the regulation of cell activity in P.yezoensis.It was speculated that the growth and development of P.yezoensis might be regulated by P.yezoensis PI3K,which promoted the expression of the AGC gene and further regulates the expression of downstream WEE1 and CDKA genes to advance mitotic division, and also promoted the expression level of NADPH oxidase that regulates ROS homeostasis.Yunke ZHU Xinran WANG Bin SUN Xianghai TANG Yunxiang MAO 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,3:0
On microbial community of Pyropia haitanensis by metagenomic analysis显示文摘Microorganisms plays an important role in the growth of Pyropia haitanensis. To understand the structural and functional diversity of the microorganism community of P.haitanensis(PH40),the associated metabolic pathway network in cluster of orthologous groups(COG)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG),and carbohydrate-active enzymes(CAZymes)were explored in metagenomic analysis.DNA extraction from gametophytes of P.haitanensis was performed first, followed by library construction, sequencing, preprocessing of sequencing data, taxonomy assignment, gene prediction, and functional annotation. The results show that the predominant microorganisms of P.haitanensis were bacteria(98.98%),and the phylum with the highest abundance was Proteobacteria(54.64%),followed by Bacteroidetes(37.92%).Erythrobacter(3.98%)and Hyunsoonleella jejuensis(1.56%)were the genera and species with the highest abundance of bacteria, respectively. The COG annotation demonstrated that genes associated with microbial metabolism was the predominant category. The results of metabolic pathway annotation show that the ABC transport system and two-component system were the main pathways in the microbial community.Plant growth hormone biosynthesis pathway and multi-vitamin biosynthesis functional units(modules)were the other important pathways. The CAZyme annotation revealed that the starch might be an important carbon source for microorganisms.Glycosyl transferase family 2(GT2)and glycosyl transferase family 3(GT3)were the highly abundant families in glucoside transferase superfamily.Six metagenome-assembled genomes containing enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of cobalamin(vitamin B 12)and indole-3-acetic acid were obtained by binning method. They were confirmed to belong to Rhodobacterales and Rhizobiales, respectively. Our findings provide comprehensive insights into the microorganism community of Pyropia.Junhao WANG Yunxiang MAO Guoying DU Xiaojiao LI Xianghai TANG 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3:0
Construction of high-density genetic linkage map of Pyropia yezoensis(Bangiales,Rhodophyta)and identifi cation of red color trait QTLs in the thalli显示文摘Pyropia yezoensis is an important macroalga because of its extensive global distribution and economic importance.Color is an important trait in the thalli of P.yezoensis,it is also an effective marker to identify the hybridization in genetic breeding. In this study,a high-density genetic linkage map was constructed based on high-throughput single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)markers, and used for analyzing the quantitative trait loci(QTLs)of red color trait in the thalli of P.yezoensis.The conchospore undergoes meiosis to develop into an ordered tetrad, and each cell has a haploid phenotype and can grow into a single individual.Based on this theory,F1 haploid population was used as the mapping population. The map included 531 SNP markers,394.57 cM long on average distance of 0.74 cM.Collinear analysis of the genetic linkage map and the physical map indicated that the coverage between the two maps was 79.42%.Furthermore,QTL mapping identified six QTLs for the chromosomal regions associated with the red color trait of the thalli. The value of phenotypic variance explained(PVE)by an individual QTL ranged from 4.71%-63.11%.And QTL qRed-1-1,with a PVE of 63.11%,was considered the major QTL.Thus, these data may provide a platform for gene and QTL fine mapping, and marker-assisted breeding in P.yezoensis in the future.Lu WANG Kuipeng XU Xianghai TANG Junhao WANG Fanna KONG Yunxiang MAO 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,3:0
Development of a PCR method for detection of Pseudoalteromonas marina associated with green spot disease in Pyropia yezoensis显示文摘Pseudoalteromonas marina is one of the potential pathogens that cause green spot disease(GSD)in Pyropia yezoensis. To prevent GSD from development and spread,an effective method to detect the pathogen at early GSD infection stages need to be established. In this research,PCR methods were established targeting the dnaA gene(encoding chromosome replication initiator protein)and the dnaN gene(encodingβsliding clamp of DNA polymeraseⅢprotein)to detect P.marina with three primer pairs pws-dnaA2(Forward,5'-ACCGCATTAACGAACTACTCGTG-3';Reverse,5'-TGCCATTACCTACAGCATGG-3'),pcs-dnaN2(Forward,5'-CTTACAACGTTATCAGCGGC-3';Reverse,5'-GTTGAGTATTAAGTGATTGAGTAAGC-3')or pws-dnaN3(Forward,5'-ACTTACAA-CGTTATCAGCGGC-3';Reverse,5'-ACTGCTGTTTGAGTCTGCTAAC-3').Three PCR methods corresponding to the three primer pairs sufficiently distinguished P.marina from 22 bacterial species, thus resulting in detection limits of 4 to 4×10^2 CFU cells or 2.37×10^1 to 2.37×10^3 fg of P.marina DNA per PCR reaction. In an artificial infection experiment ofP.yezoensis infected with P.marina, all established PCRs successfully detected P.marina at early GSD infection stages. The results show that the established PCRs are specific and sensitive, and are potential for applications in early diagnosis of GSD in Pyropia.YANG Huichao YAN Yongwei LI Jie TANG Lei MAO Yunxiang MO Zhaolan 2020Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2020,38,1:0
