1Reservoir-induced landslides and risk control in Three Gorges Project on Yangtze River,China显示文摘The Three Gorges region in China was basically a geohazard-prone area prior to construction of the Three Gorges Reservoir(TGR).After construction of the TGR,the water level was raised from 70 m to 175 m above sea level(ASL).and annual reservoir regulation has caused a 30-m water level difference after impoundment of the TGR since September 2008.This paper first presents the spatiotemporal distribution of landslides in six periods of 175 m ASL trial impoundments from 2008 to 2014.The results show that the number of landslides sharply decreased from 273 at the initial stage to less than ten at the second stage of impoundment.Based on this,the reservoir-induced landslides in the TGR region can be roughly classified into five failure patterns,i.e.accumulation landslide,dip-slope landslide,reversed bedding landslide,rockfall,and karst breccia landslide.The accumulation landslides and dip-slope landslides account for more than 90%.Taking the Shuping accumulation landslide(a sliding mass volume of 20.7 × 10~6 m^3) in Zigui County and the Outang dip-slope landslide(a sliding mass volume of about 90 × 10~6 m^3) in Fengjie County as two typical cases,the mechanisms of reactivation of the two landslides are analyzed.The monitoring data and factor of safety(FOS) calculation show that the accumulation landslide is dominated by water level variation in the reservoir as most part of the mass body is under 175 m ASL,and the dip-slope landslide is controlled by the coupling effect of reservoir water level variation and precipitation as an extensive recharge area of rainfall from the rear and the front mass is below 175 m ASL.The characteristics of landslide-induced impulsive wave hazards after and before reservoir impoundment are studied,and the probability of occurrence of a landslide-induced impulsive wave hazard has increased in the reservoir region.Simulation results of the Ganjingzi landslide in Wushan County indicate the strong relationship between landslide-induced surge and water variation with high potential risk to shipping and residential areas.Regarding reservoir regulation in TGR when using a single index,i.e.1-d water level variation,water resources are not well utilized,and there is also potential risk of disasters since 2008.In addition,various indices such as 1-d.5-d,and 10-d water level variations are proposed for reservoir regulation.Finally,taking reservoir-induced landslides in June2015 for example,the feasibility of the optimizing indices of water level variations is verified.Yueping Yin Bolin Huang Wenpei Wang Yunjie Wei Xiaohan Ma Fei Ma Changjun Zhao 2016Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2016,8,5:45

4Experimental study on scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor polyaspartic acid显示文摘Static and dynamic experiments were carried out to validate scale inhibition performance of a green scale inhibitor-polyaspartic acid (PASP). From the static experiment, it was shown that below 60℃, polyaspartic acid is very effective in scale inhibition, with the scale inhibition ratio exceeding 90% with only 3 mg/L PASP for the 600 mg/L hardness solution. For a higher hardness solution of 800 mg/L, the scale inhibition ratio can also reach 90% with 6 and 12 mg/L PASP at 30 and 60℃respectively. The SEM photographs of CaCO3 crystals indicate that the crystal structure transforms from a compact stick-shape to a loose shape so that the scale can be washed away easily instead of being deposited on the heat transfer surface. 5Using Hourly Measurements to Explore the Role of Secondary Inorganic Aerosol in PM_(2.5)during Haze and Fog in Hangzhou, China显示文摘This paper explores the role of the secondary inorganic aerosol(SIA) species ammonium, NH+4, nitrate, NO-3, and sulfate,SO2-4, during haze and fog events using hourly mass concentrations of PM2.5measured at a suburban site in Hangzhou,China. A total of 546 samples were collected between 1 April and 8 May 2012. The samples were analyzed and classified as clear, haze or fog depending on visibility and relative humidity(RH). The contribution of SIA species to PM2.5mass increased to ~50% during haze and fog. The mass contribution of nitrate to PM2.5increased from 11% during clear to 20%during haze episodes. Nitrate mass exceeded sulfate mass during haze, while near equal concentrations were observed during fog episodes. The role of RH on the correlation between concentrations of SIA and visibility was examined, with optimal correlation at 60%–70% RH. The total acidity during clear, haze and fog periods was 42.38, 48.38 and 45.51 nmol m-3,respectively, indicating that sulfate, nitrate and chloride were not neutralized by ammonium during any period. The nitrate to sulfate molar ratio, as a function of the ammonium to sulfate molar ratio, indicated that nitrate formation during fog started at a higher ammonium to sulfate molar ratio compared to clear and haze periods. 6Ultralight X-type lattice sandwich structure(I):Concept,fabrication and experimental characterization显示文摘A new type of ultra-lightweight metallic lattice structure (named as the X-type structure) is reported. This periodic structure was formed by two groups of staggered struts in the traditional pyramid strurture, and fabricated by folding expanded metal sheet along rows of offset nodes and then brazing the folded structure (as the core) with top and bottom facesheets to form sandwich panels. The out-of-plane compressive and shear properties of the X-type lattice sandwich structure were investigated experimentally and compared to those of the sandwich having a pyramidal truss core. It is found that the formation of the 2-dimensional staggered nodes can effectively make the X-type structure more resistant to inelastic and plastic buckling under both compression and shear loading than the pyramidal lattice truss. 7热处理前后非脱气交联聚乙烯的介电性能和机械性能分析(英文)显示文摘In order to investigate the influence of cross-linking byproducts on dielectric and mechanical properties of 110k V cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)cable insulation,we selected the undegassed XLPE cable insulation which is heated at 70℃in laboratory for different duration in terms of heating time,to prepare XLPE samples with different mass loss ratio.We carried out Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)test,electric breakdown test at 50 Hz,pulsed electro-acoustic(PEA)measurement and tensile test for XLPE samples.In FTIR spectrogram,the characteristic absorption peaks were observed to appear at 1 680 cm-1 and 1 600 cm-1,which can be related to two kinds of cross-linking byproducts includingα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.The intensity of these absorption peaks decreases with the increase of mass loss ratio.It can be proposed that the mass loss of XLPE samples in the process of thermal treatment is caused by volatiliztion ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone.Therefore,the change of mass loss ratio can reflect the change of content ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone in the process of thermal treatment.The results of electric breakdown test showed that the reduction ofα-methylstyrene and acetophenone leads to the enhancement of electric breakdown strength at 50 Hz.PEA measurement results showed that heterocharge is produced and accumulated when cross-linking byproducts are present,whereas no heterocharge is found whenα-methylstyrene and acetophenone are absent.The formation of heterocharge is attributed to ionization of cross-linking byproducts under electric stress.Based on these results,it can be suggested that when AC electric field is applied on XLPE samples,the occurrence of ionization of cross-linking byproducts results in the increase of free carriers in XLPE insulation,leading to a lower electric breakdown strength.The results of tensile test showed that tensile strength is proportional to the mass loss ratio of XLPE samples,which suggests that cross-linking byproducts can reduce the tensile strength of XLPE insulation.LI Huan LI Jianying WANG Qimeng ZHOU Yunjie LI Honglei 2015高电压技术2015,41,4:11

9Research of Compound Controller for Flight Simulator with Disturbance Observer显示文摘A compound controller is proposed to alleviate the considerable chattering in output of zero phase error tracking controller (ZPETC), when the flight simulator losses command data of simulation signal. Besides, the shortcomings, caused by conventional differential methods in retrieving velocity and acceleration signals, are avoided to a certain extent. The compound controller based on disturbance observer (DOB) is composed of a feed-forward controller and a feedback controller. It estimates velocity and acceleration of unknown tracking signal, and also velocity response with an approximate method for differential. The experiments on a single-axis flight simulator show that the proposed method has strong robustness against parameter perturbations and external disturbances, owing to the introduced DOB. Compared with the scheme with ZPETC, the proposed scheme possesses more simple design and better tracking performance. 11Dual tree complex wavelet transform approach to copy-rotate-move forgery detection显示文摘As a common scheme of image tampering,copy-move forgery plays an important role in image forgery committee.Although several blind methods aimed at detecting replicated regions have been proposed,these methods cannot detect the rotation changes in the duplicated areas efciently.In this paper,a new forensic method is presented to detect the replicated areas rotated by arbitrary angles,even by JPEG compression.To achieve this,overlapping blocks of pixels are decomposed using dual tree complex wavelet transform(DTCWT),and then channel energies are extracted from each subband at each decomposition level using the L1norm.Finally,the anisotropic rotationally invariant features are extracted using magnitudes of discrete Fourier transform for these channel energies.The implementation procedure of the proposed method is described in detail.Extensive experimental results,including a comparative evaluation with existing methods and the special applications in practice,are also presented to demonstrate the robustness and efectiveness of the proposed method.WU YunJie DENG Yu DUAN HaiBin ZHOU LinNa 2014Science China(Information Sciences)2014,57,1:9
12Upregulation of Nogo receptor expression induces apoptosis of retinal ganglion cells in diabetic rats显示文摘The Nogo receptor is an essential factor for neuronal apoptosis, but the changes in Nogo receptor expression in the retina and the effects of the Nogo receptor on retinal ganglion cell apoptosis in diabetes mellitus remain unclear. We found that Nogo receptor expression was mainly visible in retinal ganglion cells of a rat model of diabetes mellitus induced by streptozotocin. At 12 weeks after onset of diabetes mellitus, Nogo receptor and Rho kinase expression significantly increased in the retina, and retinal ganglion cell apoptosis was apparent. When RNA interference was used to suppress Nogo receptor expression in rat retina, Rho kinase expression was obviously inhibited, and retinal ganglion cell apoptosis was evidently reduced in rats with diabetes mellitus. 13Object tracking based on particle filter with discriminative features显示文摘This paper presents a particle filter-based visual tracking method with online feature selection mechanism. In color-based particle filter algorithm the weights of particles do not always represent the importance correctly, this may cause that the object tracking based on particle filter converge to a local region of the object. In our proposed visual tracking method, the Bhattacharyya distance and the local discrimination between the object and background are used to define the weights of the particles, which can solve the existing local convergence problem. 14Stationary entanglement of two atoms in a common reservoir显示文摘We study the dynamics of two entangled atoms interacting with a common structured reservoir. By means of the exact solution of atomic dynamics, we show a novel quantum interference controlled by the relative phase of initial entangled state of the atoms. The quantum interference has a great influence on trapped excited-state population and stationary entanglement of the atoms. 15NMR study on self-assembled cage complex of hexamethylenetetramine and cucurbit[n]urils显示文摘Self-assembled complexes between cage com-pounds cucurbit[n = 5—8]urils and hexamethylenetetramine were studied by using NMR techniques. Experimental results reveal that hexamethylenetetramine can lid cucurbit[5]uril to forming self-assembled capsules in which nothing is encap-sulated yet; the cavity of the cucurbit[7]uril can accommo-date a hexamethylenetetramine molecule to form a self- assembled host-guest inclusion. Moreover, both the cavity interaction of the cucurbit[7]uril with hexamethylenetetra-mine稨Cl and the portal interaction of the dipole carbonyl of the cucurbit[7]uril with hexamethylenetetramine稨Cl lead to form self-assembled capsules in which the hexamethylene-tetramine稨Cl are encapsulated in the hexamethylenetetra-mine稨Cl lidded cucurbit[7]uril. 16Habitat-induced reciprocal transformation in the root phenotype of Oriental ginseng is associated with alteration in DNA methylation显示文摘Oriental ginseng is an important medicinal plant that grows in 2 major forms or ecotypes,wild and domesticated.Each form differs conspicuously in root phenotype,but can be converted from one type to another by habitat.Here we show that the habi tat-induced transformation of ginseng root phenotype was accompanied by alteration in cytosine methylation at a large number of 5′-CCGG-3′sites detected by the methylation-sensitive polymorphism(MSAP)marker.The collective CG and CHG methylation levels of all 4 landraces of the domesticated form were significantly lower than those of the wild form.Interestingly,artificially transplanted ginseng plants recreated in both directions the methylation levels(at least in CHG)of their natural counterparts.The methylation differences between the 2 ginseng ecotypes were validated at 2 isolated MSAP loci bearing homology to a 5S rRNA gene or a copia retrotransposon.Our results implicate a link between epigenetic variation and habitat-induced phenotypic flexibility in Oriental ginseng.NGEZAHAYO Frederic WANG XiaoLi YU XiaoMing JIANG LiLi CHU YunJie SHEN BaiHua YAN ZhongKai LIU Bao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,16:7
17Vertical distribution characteristics of soil organic carbon content in Caohai wetland ecosystem of Guizhou plateau, China显示文摘We selected four kinds of land use types from Caohai wetlands of Guizhou plateau(a total number of 32 soil profiles) to study the distribution characteristics of organic carbon content in soil. With different ways of land use, the organic carbon content of soil profiles and organic carbon density show the tendency of decreasing firstly and then increasing from top to bottom. With the increase of depth, the vertical difference becomes smaller first and then starts increasing. Land reclamation reduces the soil organic carbon content and density, changing its distribution structure in topsoil. The average content of organic carbon in Caohai wetlands are as follows: lake bed silt [ marsh wetland [ farmland [ woodland, the average organic carbon content of lake bed silt, marsh wetland,farmland and woodland are 16.40, 2.94, 1.81 and 1.08 %,respectively. 18A Topology-Cognitive Algorithm Framework for Virtual Network Embedding Problem显示文摘The virtual network embedding/mapping problem is an important issue in network virtualization in Software-Defined Networking(SDN).It is mainly concerned with mapping virtual network requests,which could be a set of SDN flows,onto a shared substrate network automatically and efficiently.Previous researches mainly focus on developing heuristic algorithms for general topology virtual network.In practice however,the virtual network is usually generated with specific topology for specific purpose.Thus,it is a challenge to optimize the heuristic algorithms with these topology information.In order to deal with this problem,we propose a topology-cognitive algorithm framework,which is composed of a guiding principle for topology algorithm developing and a compound algorithm.The compound algorithm is composed of several subalgorithms,which are optimized for specific topologies.We develop star,tree,and ring topology algorithms as examples,other subalgorithms can be easily achieved following the same framework.The simulation results show that the topology-cognitive algorithm framework is effective in developing new topology algorithms,and the developed compound algorithm greatly enhances the performance of the Revenue/Cost(R/C) ratio and the Runtime than traditional heuristic algorithms for multi-topology virtual network embedding problem.HUANG Tao LIU Jiang CHEN Jianya LIU Yunjie 2014China Communications2014,11,4:7

20Curative effects of interferon-α and HLA-DRB1-DQA1 and-DQB1 alleles in chronic viral hepatitis B显示文摘AIM: To investigate the association between curative effects of interferon-α and partial human leucocyte antigen (HLA)Ⅱ alleles in chronic viral hepatitis B.METHODS: Sixty patients with chronic viral hepatitis B in Shanghai were treated with a standard course of treatment with interferon-α for 6 mo. HLA-DRB1, -DQA1, and -DQB1 alleles were detected by polymerase chain reaction-sequence specific primer (PCR-SSP) method. RESULTS: Frequencies of HLA-DRB1*04(P<0.025) and HLA-DQA1*0303 (P<0.01) in non-responders were significantly higher than those in partial and complete responders. Frequencies of HLA-DQAI*0505(P<0.025) and HLA-DQB1*0301(P<0.005) in partial and complete responders were significantly higher than those in non-responders.CONCLUSION: Non-response to interferon-α therapy is positively correlated with HLA-DRB1*04 and HLA-DQA1*0303, and negatively correlated with HLA-DQA1*0505 and -DQB1*0301 in patient with chronic viral hepatitis B.HLA Ⅱ genes of the identification alleles provide a method for evaluating outcome of interferon-α treatment.Guo-QingZang MinXi Ming-LiangFeng YunJi Yong-ShengYu Zheng-HaoTang 2004World Journal of Gastroenterology2004,10,14:6
