| 3 | Synthesis,characterization and cell imaging properties of rare earth compounds based on hydroxamate ligand显示文摘Six binuclear rare earth compounds were synthesized through the ligand of 4-Bromo-N-hydroxy-Nmethyl-benzamide(sH_2 bha). Compounds 1-3 are isomorphous, and compound 1 is crystallized in the monoclinic system with the P2_1/c space group. Compounds 4 and 5 are isomorphous, and compound 4 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. Compound 6 is crystallized in the triclinic system with the P-1 space group. The compounds were characterized by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) and IR spectroscopy. The fluorescence spectrum in the visible area shows characteristic peaks of Eu, Tb, and Dy compounds. The efficiency of Eu compound on the viability of PC3 cells was assessed using CCK8 assays. From the CCK8 results, ionic concentration may have a great effect on PC3 cells' proliferation. Eu compound shows red fluorescence in the cytoplasm of PC3 cell. | 5 | Investigate the kinetics of coke solution loss reaction with an alkali metal as a catalyst based on the improved genetic algorithm显示文摘The kinetics of coke solution loss reaction with and without sodium carbonate were investigated under the reaction atmosphere of carb on dioxide. The variables of gas flow rate and coke particle size were explored to eliminate the external and inteirial diffusion, respectively. Then, the improved method combining with the least square and the genetic algorithm was proposed to solve the homogeneous model and the shrinking core model. It was found that the improved genetic algorithm method has good stability by studying the fitness function at each generation. In the homogeneous model, the activation energy with and without sodium carbonate was 54.89 and 95.56 kJ/mol, respectively. And. the activation energy with and without sodium carbonate in the shrinking core model was 49.83 and 92.18 kJ/mol, respectively. Therefore, it was concluded that the sodium carbonate has the catalytic action. | 6 | The evolution of China’s regulation of agricultural biotechnology显示文摘To ensure safe use of genetically modified organisms(GMOs),since 1993,China has made great efforts to establish and improve the safety regulatory system for GMOs.Here,we summarize and analyze the regulatory framework of agricultural GMOs,and the progress in regulatory approval of GM crops in China.In general,the development of GMO safety regulations underwent four stages:exploration(1993–2000),development(2001–2010),improvement(2011–2020)and current(2021-present)stage.The first formal regulation was promulgated in 1993,which provided a basis for further development of the regulations,during the exploration stage,when insect-resistant GM cotton,expressing genes from Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt),was approved for cultivation.During the development stage,the Chinese government issued a series of administrative measures,which covered almost all the fields relative to GMO safety when the basic regulatory system was established.Along with the controversy over GMO safety,the regulations have been further,and greatly improved,during improvement stage.From 2021,a few additional revisions have been made,and meanwhile,the new regulation on gene-edited crops was introduced with the development of biotechnology,forming a relative complete regulation and law system for China.The well-developed GMO regulations establishes a firm basis for safe use of GM crops in China.Currently,GM cotton and GM papaya have been widely grown on a large scale in China that have brought great economic and ecological benefits.In addition,12 corn events,3 soybean events,and 2 rice events have also obtained biosafety certification,but presently,these lines have yet to enter commercial production.However,several GM soybean and corn events have entered pilot industrialization,and can soon be expected to be commercially grown in China.In addition to planting,six GM crops,including soybean,corn,cotton,canola,papaya and sugar beet,with a total of 64 events,have been approved for import as processing material in China. | Jingang Liang Xiaowei Yang Yue Jiao Danxia Wang Qiang Zhao Yu Sun Yunhe Li Kongming Wu | 2022 | aBIOTECH2022,3,4: | 2 |

| 11 | Enterogenic Stenotrophomonas maltophilia migrates to the mammary gland to induce mastitis by activating the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway显示文摘Background Mastitis is an inflammatory disease of the mammary gland that has serious economic impacts on the dairy industry and endangers food safety.Our previous study found that the body has a gut/rumen-mammary gland axis and that disturbance of the gut/rumen microbiota could result in‘gastroenterogenic mastitis'.However,the mechanism has not been fully clarified.Recently,we found that long-term feeding of a high-concentrate diet induced mastitis in dairy cows,and the abundance of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia(S.maltophilia)was significantly increased in both the rumen and milk microbiota.Accordingly,we hypothesized that‘gastroenterogenic mastitis'can be induced by the migration of endogenous gut bacteria to the mammary gland.Therefore,this study investigated the mechanism by which enterogenic S.maltophilia induces mastitis.Results First,S.maltophilia was labelled with superfolder GFP and administered to mice via gavage.The results showed that treatment with S.maltophilia promoted the occurrence of mastitis and increased the permeability of the blood-milk barrier,leading to intestinal inflammation and intestinal leakage.Furthermore,tracking of ingested S.maltophilia revealed that S.maltophilia could migrate from the gut to the mammary gland and induce mastitis.Subsequently,mammary gland transcriptome analysis showed that the calcium and AMPK signalling pathways were significantly upregulated in mice treated with S.maltophilia.Then,using mouse mammary epithelial cells(MMECs),we verified that S.maltophilia induces mastitis through activation of the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway.Conclusions In conclusion,the results showed that enterogenic S.maltophilia could migrate from the gut to the mammary gland via the gut-mammary axis and activate the calcium-ROS-AMPK-mTOR-autophagy pathway to induce mastitis.Targeting the gut-mammary gland axis may also be an effective method to treat mastitis. | Zhaoqi He Caijun Zhao Yuhong He Zhuoyu Liu Guyue Fan Kun Zhu Yiqi Wang Naisheng Zhang Yunhe Fu Xiaoyu Hu | 2024 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2024,15,1: | 0 |

| 13 | Eco-geographical Regionalization of China:An Approach Using the Rough Set Method显示文摘Eco-geographical regionalization involves dividing land into regions by considering both intra-regional consistency and interregional disparity and is based on the pattern of differentiation of eco-geographical elements.Owing to the complexity of the land surface,and the limitation of data and appropriate methods,regions in China have hitherto been mapped manually,meaning that the process of mapping was non-repeatable.To make the regionalization technique repeatable,this study aimed to extract and quantify the expert knowledge of regionalization using an automated method.The rough set method was adopted to extract rules of regionalization based on the existing eco-geographical regionalization map of China,as well as its corresponding meteorological and geological datasets.Then,the rules for regionalization were obtained hierarchically for each natural domain,each temperature zone,and each humidity region.Owing to differences in zonal differentiation,the rule extraction sequence for the eastern monsoon zone and Tibetan Alpine zone was temperature zone first followed by humidity region,with the reverse order being applied for the northwest arid/semi-arid zone.Results show that the extracted indicators were similar to those of the existing(expert-produced)regionalization scheme but more comprehensive.The primary indicator for defining temperature zones was the≥10℃ growing season,and the secondary indicators were the January and July mean temperatures.The primary and secondary indicators for identifying humid regions were aridity index and precipitation,respectively.Eco-geographical regions were mapped over China using these rules and the gridded indicators.Both the temperature zones and humidity regions mapped by the rules show≥85%consistency with the existing regionalization,which is higher than values for mapping by the commonly used simplified method that uses the classification of one indicator.This study demonstrates that the proposed rough set method can establish eco-geographical regionalization that is quantitative and repeatable and able to dynamically updated. | DENG Haoyu WU Shaohong YIN Yunhe GAO Jiangbo ZHAO Dongsheng | 2022 | Chinese Geographical Science2022,32,1: | 0 |

| 16 | Effect of intervention treatment from different stages on prognosis in children with central coordination disturbance显示文摘BACKGROUND: Central coordination disturbance is regarded as the early-stage symptom of brain injury-induced cerebral palsy. This disease manifests itself as motor disorder, abnormal attitudinal reflex and muscular tension. Early intervention may improve its prognosis. OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of intervention treatment from different stages on the prognosis of central coordination disturbance following brain injury in children patients. DESIGN: A contrast observation experiment. SETTING: Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation, Urumqi Children’s Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 151 children who were diagnosed as central coordination disturbance from January 2002 to December 2003 in the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation of Urumqi Children’s Hospital were recruited. All the children patients, including 101 male and 50 female, aged from 3 months to 1 year old, met the diagnosis criteria of central coordination disturbance from Vojta. They were divided into slight, moderate and severe abnormity according to Vojta attitudinal reflex. All 151 patients were divided into 2 groups according to their age at diagnosis: 3-6 months old group (n=74), 62 severe, 10 moderate and 2 slight; 7-12 months old group (n=77), 66 severe, 7 moderate and 4 slight. All the relatives of children patients were informed of the experiment. METHODS: ① Both groups received physical training (PT) as the main treatment; Hand training was given if necessary. All of the patients received additional hyperbaric oxygen therapy, bioelectric therapy, scalp acupuncture, drug treatment and family training. The importance of integration of hospital and family based rehabilitation was stressed. Those who did not catch up with the normal development or had abnormal reflexes continued to receive treatment. ② Around the age of 2 years old, all children did a final evaluation using Bayley Scales of Infant Development (BSID). Mental development index (MDI) and physical development index (PDI) were taken as evaluative criteria. Children with scores 80 and above on MDI and PDI were considered to have normal motor and mental development; 79 and below were considered delayers. The Diagnostic Criteria of Cerebral Palsy and Infant-Secondary School Social Adaptation Scale were used in the final evaluation[scores≤5 was extremely severe (extremely severe cerebral palsy), 6 was severe(severe cerebral palsy), 7 was moderate(moderate cerebral palsy), 8 was slight(slight cerebral palsy), 9 was borderline(slight cerebral palsy), 10 was normal, 11 was above average, 12 was excellent and ≥13 was extremely excellent]. ③ Final evaluative results of 2 groups were compared. And u test was used for the comparison of Bayley development index and Chi-square test for the comparison of normalization rate. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: BSID MDI and PDI as well as the normalization rate of motor function and mental behavior of children patients at 2 years old. RESULTS: Totally 151 children patients entered the stage of result analysis. ①Two groups of children patients were given integrated rehabilitation therapy , and evaluated at 2 years old . The 3-6 months old group had higher MDI and PDI than the 7-12 months old group(91.81±19.99 vs 71.93±18.98;91.55±23.61 vs 68.95±23.51,u=6.265,5.894,P < 0.01). ②After being given integrated rehabilitation therapy, children patients of 3-6 months old group had significantly higher normalization rate of motor function and mental behavior than 7-12 months old group (73%,27%,χ2=29.723 9,P < 0.01). ③Six slight and 17 moderate central coordination disturbance children of 2 groups all completely recovered; After intervention treatment, among 128 severe central coordination disturbance children, 52 recovered and 76 were still abnormal, in which, 43 slight cerebral palsy, 18 moderate cerebral palsy, 5 severe cerebral palsy and 10 extremely severe cerebral palsy.
