1Calibration of a γ-Re_θ transition model and its validation in low-speed flows with high-order numerical method显示文摘Based on the Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes(RANS)equations and structured grid technology,the calibration and validation of γ-Re_θ transition model is preformed with fifth-order weighted compact nonlinear scheme(WCNS),and the purpose of the present work is to improve the numerical accuracy for aerodynamic characteristics simulation of low-speed flow with transition model on the basis of high-order numerical method study.Firstly,the empirical correlation functions involved in the γ-Re_θ transition model are modified and calibrated with experimental data of turbulent flat plates.Then,the grid convergence is studied on NLR-7301 two-element airfoil with the modified empirical correlation.At last,the modified empirical correlation is validated with NLR-7301 two-element airfoil and high-lift trapezoidal wing from transition location,velocity profile in boundary layer,surface pressure coefficient and aerodynamic characteristics.The numerical results illustrate that the numerical accuracy of transition length and skin friction behind transition location are improved with modified empirical correlation function,and obviously increases the numerical accuracy of aerodynamic characteristics prediction for typical transport configurations in low-speed range.Wang Yuntao Zhang Yulun Li Song Meng Dehong 2015Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2015,28,3:9

5Remote Sensing Image Classification Based on Decision Tree in the Karst Rocky Desertification Areas: A Case Study of Kaizuo Township显示文摘Karst rocky desertification is a phenomenon of land degradation as a result of affection by the interaction of natural and human factors.In the past,in the rocky desertification areas,supervised classification and unsupervised classification are often used to classify the remote sensing image.But they only use pixel brightness characteristics to classify it.So the classification accuracy is low and can not meet the needs of practical application.Decision tree classification is a new technology for remote sensing image classification.In this study,we select the rocky desertification areas Kaizuo Township as a case study,use the ASTER image data,DEM and lithology data,by extracting the normalized difference vegetation index,ratio vegetation index,terrain slope and other data to establish classification rules to build decision trees.In the ENVI software support,we access the classification images.By calculating the classification accuracy and kappa coefficient,we find that better classification results can be obtained,desertification information can be extracted automatically and if more remote sensing image bands used,higher resolution DEM employed and less errors data reduced during processing,classification accuracy can be improve further.Shuyong MA Xinglei ZHU Yulun AN 2014Asian Agricultural Research2014,6,7:2
6Experimental Study of Influence of Fuel Ratio on Combustion Characteristics of Diesel-Wetted Wood Powder显示文摘In this study, experiments were conducted to examine the influence of the fuel ratio(i.e., the ratio of diesel mass to wood powder mass) on the combustion characteristics of diesel-wetted wood powder, in which 0# diesel and poplar wood powder were used and well mixed. The fuel ratios were set to 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0. Fire behaviors, temperature distributions, mass loss rates, and CO concentrations were measured and analyzed. The results showed that because of the coupled effect of evaporation and the capillary force, the ignition point of diesel-wetted wood powder(less than 3°C) dropped dramatically as compared with that of pure wood powder(higher than 280°C) and pure diesel(higher than 107°C). At the early stage of combustion, diesel is lifted upwards by the capillary force, increasing both the concentration of diesel vapor and the temperature at the surface. When the surface temperature reaches that of the pyrolysis of wood powder, considerable pyrolysis gas emerges and combusts. As the flammable gas is consumed gradually, carbon combusts prominently when plenty of oxygen diffuses to its surface. Regarding the influence of the fuel ratio, the results showed that in cases with lower fuel ratios, the combustion was not self-sustainable. When the fuel ratio was relatively high, the temperature at the flame center was lower owing to incomplete combustion. More CO could be found in cases with higher fuel ratios in the early and late stages of combustion. 9Monitoring of Karst Rocky Desertification Control Projects Based on Remote Sensing Images with Medium and High Spatial Resolution——A Case Study of Disi River Basin in Puan County显示文摘[Objective] The study aimed to improve methods of monitoring Karst Rocky Desertification( KRD) control projects and increase the working efficiency.[Method] Based on remote sensing images with medium and high spatial resolution,KRD control projects in Disi River basin in Puan County were monitored,that is,information of the project construction in the study area was extracted using supervised classification and human-computer interactive interpretation,and the monitoring results were testified with the aid of GPS.[Result] It was feasible to monitor KRD control projects in Disi River basin based on remote sensing images with medium and high resolution,and the monitoring accuracy was satisfactory,reaching above 80% or 90%,so the method is worthy of popularizing.[Conclusion] Remote sensing images with medium and high resolution can be used to monitor other KRD control projects.Haixiang Guo Yulun An 2013Meteorological and Environmental Research2013,4,7:1
