| 1 | Ten cities cross-sectional questionnaire survey of children asthma and other allergies in China显示文摘Asthma,rhinitis and eczema(allergic or non-allergic)have increased throughout the world during the last decades,especially among children.Changes in the indoor environment are suspected to be important causes.China has experienced a dramatic change in indoor environmental exposures during the past two decades.However,such changes and their associations with children’s asthma and other health aspects have not been thoroughly studied.China,Children,Homes,Health(CCHH),Phase I,was a cross-sectional questionnaire survey of 48219 children 1–8 years old in 10 Chinese cities during 2010–2012.The questionnaire includes the International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood(ISAAC)core health questions and additional questions regarding housing,life habits and outdoor environment.In health analyses,children aged 3–6 years old were included.The prevalences of doctor diagnosed asthma varied from 1.7%to 9.8%(mean 6.8%),a large increase from 0.91%in 1999 and 1.50%in2000.The prevalence of wheeze,rhinitis and atopic eczema(last 12 months)varied from 13.9%to 23.7%,24.0%to 50.8%and4.8%to 15.8%,respectively.Taiyuan had the lowest prevalences of all illnesses and Shanghai the highest,except for wheezewhere the highest value was for Urumqi.We found(1)no obvious association between disease prevalences and ambient PM10concentrations and(2)higher prevalences of disease in humid climates with hot summers and cold winters,but with no centrally heated buildings.Associations between the diseases and economic status as indexed by Gross Domestic Product(GDP)requires further study. | ZHANG YinPing LI BaiZhan HUANG Chen YANG Xu QIAN Hua DENG QiHong ZHAO ZhuoHui LI AnGui ZHAO JiaNing ZHANG Xin QU Fang HU Yu YANG Qin WANG Juan ZHANG Ming WANG Fang ZHENG XiaoHong LU Chan LIU ZhiJian SUN YueXia MO JinHan ZHAO YiLi LIU Wei WANG TingTing NORBCK Dan BORNEHAG Carl-Gustaf SUNDELL Jan | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,34: | 22 |
| 2 | Risk assessment of gas control and spontaneous combustion of coal under gas drainage of an upper tunnel显示文摘The adjustment of the gas drainage rate has an immediate impact on air leakage in gob,thus resulting in the change of self-heating of coal.While regulating the gas drainage parameters,the risk of spontaneous combustion of coal should be considered.The risk assessment of gas control and spontaneous combustion of coal under gas drainage in a tunnel was investigated at different gas drainage rates.The distributions of the air volume along the working face,the gas management effects and the width of the oxidation zone were subjected to risk analysis.As the simulation results showed,with increasing gas drainage rate,although the safety of gas dilution by ventilation was assured,the intensifying air leakage caused the oxidation zone to move into the deeper gob and led to an increase in the width of the oxidation zone.A risk assessment method was proposed to determine a suitable gas drainage rate for the upper tunnel.The correctness of the risk assessment and the validity of the numerical modelling were confirmed by the field measurements. | Tingxiang Chu Pin Li Yuexia Chen | 2019 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2019,29,3: | 9 |
| 3 | Olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation improves sympathetic skin responses in chronic spinal cord injury显示文摘Forty-three patients with chronic spinal cord injury for over 6 months were transplanted with embryonic olfactory ensheathing cells, 2–4 × 106, into multiple sites in the injured area under the surgical microscope. The sympathetic skin response in patients was measured with an electromyography/evoked potential instrument 1 day before transplantation and 3–8 weeks after transplantation.Spinal nerve function of patients was assessed using the American Spinal Injury Association impairment scale. The sympathetic skin response was elicited in 32 cases before olfactory ensheathing cell transplantation, while it was observed in 34 cases after transplantation. Concomitantly,sympathetic skin response latency decreased significantly and amplitude increased significantly after transplantation. Transplantation of olfactory ensheathing cells also improved American Spinal Injury Association scores for movement, pain and light touch. | 4 | Integrated Control of Lateral and Vertical Vehicle Dynamics Based on Multi-agent System显示文摘The existing research of the integrated chassis control mainly focuses on the different evaluation indexes and control strategy. Among the different evaluation indexes, the comprehensive properties are usually not considered based on the non-linear superposition principle. But, the control strategy has some shortages on tyre model with side-slip angle, road adhesion coefficient, vertical load and velocity. In this paper, based on belief, desire and intention(BDI)-agent model framework, the TYRE agent, electric power steering(EPS) agent and active suspension system(ASS) agent are proposed. In the system(SYS) agent, the coordination mechanism is employed to manage interdependences and conflicts among other agents, so as to improve the flexibility, adaptability, and robustness of the global control system. Due to the existence of the simulation demand of dynamic performance, the vehicle multi-body dynamics model is established by SIMPACK. And then the co-simulation analysis is conducted to evaluate the proposed multi-agent system(MAS) controller. The simulation results demonstrate that the MAS has good effect on the performance of EPS and ASS. Meantime, the better road feeling for the driver is provided considering the multiple and complex driving traffic. Finally, the MAS rapid control prototyping is built to conduct the real vehicle test. The test results are consistent to the simulation results, which verifies the correctness of simulation. | 6 | Phosphatase activity and culture conditions of the yeast Candida mycoderma sp. and analysis of organic phosphorus hydrolysis ability显示文摘Orthophosphate is an essential but limiting macronutrient for plant growth. About 67%cropland in China lacks sufficient phosphorus, especially that with red soil. Extensive soil phosphorus reserves exist in the form of organic phosphorus, which is unavailable for root uptake unless hydrolyzed by secretory acid phosphatases. Thus, many microorganisms with the ability to produce phosphatase have been exploited. In this work, the activity of an extracellular acid phosphatase and yeast biomass from Candida mycoderma was measured under different culture conditions, such as p H, temperature, and carbon source. A maximal phosphatase activity of 8.47 × 105± 0.11 × 105U/g was achieved by C. Mycoderma in 36 hr under the optimal conditions. The extracellular acid phosphatase has high activity over a wide p H tolerance range from 2.5 to 5.0(optimum p H 3.5). The effects of different phosphorus compounds on the acid phosphatase production were also studied. The presence of phytin, lecithin or calcium phosphate reduced the phosphatase activity and biomass yield significantly. In addition, the p H of the culture medium was reduced significantly by lecithin. The efficiency of the strain in releasing orthophosphate from organic phosphorus was studied in red soil(used in planting trees) and rice soil(originating as red soil). The available phosphorus content was increased by 230% after inoculating20 days in rice soil and decreased by 50% after inoculating 10 days in red soil. | 8 | Chaotic Motion in a Nonlinear Car Model Excited by Multi-frequency Road Surface Profile显示文摘In order to solve the problem that existing nonlinear suspension models have not considered chaotic motion in primary and other resonances, and numerical calculation model is too simplified to capture the accurate critical conditions for the chaotic motion, a nonlinear suspension model and its new paths of chaos are investigated. Primary resonances, secondary resonances, and combined resonances are performed using multiple-time scales method. Based on the Melnikov functions, the critical conditions for the chaotic motion of the nonlinear system are found, which is 0.246 7 for the primary resonance, and 0.338 8 for the secondary resonance. The effects of parameters on chaotic range are considered, and results show that nonlinear stiffness of suspension k2 has the largest impact on the chaotic range while damping coefficient C1 has the smallest one. The chaotic responses on the area of the primary and secondary resonances are discussed via Lyapunov exponents and numerical integration of the equations of motion. It is found from Lyapunov exponents and Poincare′ maps that motions are chaos over critical conditions, and has shown two very different paths of chaos on the primary and secondary resonances. | 14 | RBM4 dictates ESCC cell fate switch from cellular senescence to glutamine-addiction survival through inhibiting LKB1-AMPK-axis显示文摘Cellular senescence provides a protective barrier against tumorigenesis in precancerous or normal tissues upon distinct stressors.However,the detailed mechanisms by which tumor cells evade premature senescence to malignant progression remain largely elusive.Here we reported that RBM4 adversely impacted cellular senescence to favor glutamine-dependent survival of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)cells by dictating the activity of LKB1,a critical governor of cancer metabolism.The level of RBM4 was specifically elevated in ESCC compared to normal tissues,and RBM4 overexpression promoted the malignant phenotype.RBM4 contributed to overcome H-RAS-or doxorubicin-induced senescence,while its depletion caused P27-dependent senescence and proliferation arrest by activating LKB1-AMPK-mTOR cascade.Mechanistically,RBM4 competitively bound LKB1 to disrupt the LKB1/STRAD/MO25 heterotrimeric complex,subsequently recruiting the E3 ligase TRIM26 to LKB1,promoting LKB1 ubiquitination and degradation in nucleus.Therefore,such molecular process leads to bypassing senescence and sustaining cell proliferation through the activation of glutamine metabolism.Clinically,the ESCC patients with high RBM4 and low LKB1 have significantly worse overall survival than those with low RBM4 and high LKB1.The RBM4 high/LKB1 low expression confers increased sensitivity of ESCC cells to glutaminase inhibitor CB-839,providing a novel insight into mechanisms underlying the glutamine-dependency to improve the efficacy of glutamine inhibitors in ESCC therapeutics. | Lei Chen Wenjing Zhang Dan Chen Quan Yang Siwen Sun Zhenwei Dai Zhengzheng Li Xuemei Liang Chaoqun Chen Yuexia Jiao Lili Zhi Lianmei Zhao Jinrui Zhang Xuefeng Liu Jinyao Zhao Man Li Yang Wang Yangfan Qi | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,5: | 0 |
| 15 | Extension and application of a database for the rapid identification of Vibrio using MALDI-TOF MS显示文摘Rapid and accurate identification of Vibrio species has been problematic because phenotypic characteristics are variable within species and biochemical identification requires two or more days to complete.Matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization–time of flight mass spectrometry(MALDI-TOF MS)has become a powerful tool for rapidly distinguishing between related bacterial species.However,its accuracy depends on the number of strains in a database.In the current study,we extend and apply the Vibrio database based on MALDI-TOF MS.A total of 74 strains of Vibrio representing 28 species were identified and included in new database.A phylogenetic tree based on rpoB sequence and dendrograms were constructed.We analyzed 30 clinical Vibrio of three species to evaluate the new database and carried out PCA dendrogram analyses for differences of strains.We created a new database that offered fast and accurate Vibrio identification.MSP and PCA dendrogram analyses provided technical support to track sources and incidences of Vibrio infection.In addition,the discovery of characteristic and differential peaks is useful for the future identification of Vibrio.This represents a powerful tool for the rapid and accurate classification and identification of Vibrio and closely related species. | Jing Wu Yuexia Zhou Xiaofei Liu Yuan Cao Chengjin Hu Yingjian Chen | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,10: | 0 |
