| 2 | Gluconeogenesis during starvation and refeeding phase is affected by previous dietary carbohydrates levels and a glucose stimuli during early life in Siberian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii)显示文摘Gluconeogenesis responses was assessed during a short starvation period and subsequent refeeding in Siberian sturgeon(Acipenser baerii) previously fed different dietary carbohydrates levels and experienced to a glucose stimuli during early life. The sturgeon larvae were previously fed either a high glucose diet(G) or a low glucose diet(F) from the first feeding to yolk absorption(8 to 12 d post-hatching [dph]). Each group of fish was sub-divided into 2 treatments at 13 dph and was fed either a high-carbohydrate diet(H) or a low carbohydrate diet(L) until 20 wk. In the current study, the fish in 4 groups(GL, FL, GH and FH) were experienced to starvation for 21 d following by re-feeding of their corresponding diets for 21 d.Fish were sampled at postprandial 6 and 24 h before starvation(P6 h and P24 h), starvation 7,14 and 21 d(S7, S14 and S21) and 1, 7,14 and 21 d during refeeding(R1, R7, R14 and R21). Plasma samples during refeeding were taken at P6 h at each time point. Glycaemia levels, liver and muscle glycogen contents,activities and mRNA levels of hepatic gluconeogenic enzymes were examined. We found that both dietary carbohydrate levels and early glucose stimuli significantly affected the metabolic responses to starvation and refeeding in Siberian sturgeon(P < 0.05). During prolonged starvation, Siberian sturgeon firstly mobilized the liver glycogen and then improved gluconeogenesis when the dietary carbohydrates were abundant, whereas preserved the liver glycogen stores at a stable level and more effectively promoted gluconeogenesis when the dietary carbohydrates are absent to maintain glucose homoeostasis.During refeeding, as most teleostean, Siberian sturgeon failed controlling the activities and mRNA levels of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase cytosolic forms(PEPCK-C), fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase(FBPase),but particularly controlled phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase mitochondrial forms(PEPCK-M) activities and mRNA expression of glucose-6-phosphatase(G6 Pase, except in GL group). | 3 | A new single-cell protein from Clostridium autoethanogenum as a functional protein for largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides)显示文摘Clostridium autoethanogenum protein(CAP)is a new single-cell protein source originating from inactivated bacteria.An in vitro digestion experiment and an 8-wk growth experiment were conducted to evaluate the molecular weight distribution of the CAP hydrolysate,and the effects of dietary CAP levels on the growth performance,plasma parameters,hepatic and intestinal health,and the diversity of gutadherent microbiota of largemouth bass(Micropterus salmoides).The fish(initial body weight of 47.99±0.01 g)were fed diets where CAP gradually replaced 0%(CAP0),12.5%(CAP12.5),25%(CAP25),37.5%(CAP37.5)and 50%(CAP50)of low-temperature steam dried anchovy fish meal(LTFM)in the diet.Results showed that the content of peptides below 1,000 Da in the CAP hydrolysate(0.56 mg/mL)was higher than that of the LTFM hydrolysate(0.48 mg/mL).Dietary CAP inclusion had no negative effect on growth performance,while whole-body lipid content significantly reduced in the CAP25 and CAP50 groups(P<0.05).The plasma alanine aminotransferase activities and triglyceride concentrations in the CAP inclusion groups were significantly lower than those in the CAP0 group(P<0.05).The plasma aspartate aminotransferase activity was significantly reduced in the CAP37.5 group(P<0.05).The richness and diversity of the gut-adhesive microbiota and the proportion of Clostridium sensu stricto 12 in the CAP50 group were significantly higher than those in the CAP0 group(P<0.05).Dietary CAP inclusion inhibited inflammatory responses by down-regulating the mRNA levels of interleukin 1b(IL1b),IL10 and transforming growth factor b1(P<0.05)in the liver.The mRNA levels of acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 were significantly down-regulated in the CAP12.5,CAP25 and CAP37.5 groups(P<0.05),while that of fatty acid synthase was significantly down-regulated in the CAP50 group(P<0.05).These results demonstrate that dietary CAP inclusion could improve the hepatic and intestinal health of largemouth bass,and can be helpful to further develop CAP as a functional feed ingredient. | Shifeng Ma Xiaofang Liang Pei Chen Jie Wang Xu Gu Yuchang Qin Christophe Blecker Min Xue | 2022 | Animal Nutrition2022,,3: | 6 |

| 5 | Graphene-wrapped multiloculated nickel ferrite:A highly efficient electromagnetic attenuation material for microwave absorbing and green shielding显示文摘Dedicating to the exploration of efficient electromagnetic(EM)absorption and electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials is the main strategy to solve the EM radiation issues.The development of multifunction EM attenuation materials that are compatible together EM absorption and EMI shielding properties is deserved our exploration and study.Here,the graphenewrapped multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) composites are reported as multifunction EM absorbing and EMI shielding materials.The conductive networks configurated by the overlapping flexible graphene promote the riched polarization genes,as well as electron transmission paths,and thus optimize the dielectric constant of the composites.Meanwhile,the introduction of magnetic NiFe_(2)O_(4) further establishes the magnetic-dielectric synergy effect.The abundant non-homogeneous interfaces not only generate effective interfacial polarization,also the deliberate multiloculated structure of NiFe_(2)O_(4) strengthens multi-scattering and multi-reflection sites to expand the transmission path of EM waves.As it turns out,the best impedance matching is matched at a lower filled concentration to achieve the strongest reflection loss value of−48.1 dB.Simultaneously,green EMI shielding based on a predominantly EM absorption and dissipation is achieved by an enlargement of the filled concentration,which is helpful to reduce the secondary EM wave reflection pollution to the environment.In addition,the electrocatalytic properties are further examined.The graphene-wrapped multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) shows the well electrocatalytic activity as electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER),which is mainly attributed to the interconnected structures formed by graphene and NiFe_(2)O_(4) connection.The structural advantages of multiloculated NiFe_(2)O_(4) expose more active sites,which plays an important role in optimizing catalytic reactions.This work provides an excellent jumping-off point for the development of multifunction EM absorbing materials,eco-friendliness EMI shielding materials and electrocatalysts. | Yuchang Wang Lihua Yao Qi Zheng Mao-Sheng Cao | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,7: | 3 |
| 6 | Over-expression of Toll-like receptor 2 up-regulates heme oxygenase-1 expression and decreases oxidative injury in dairy goats显示文摘Background: Mastitis, an infection caused by Gram-positive bacteria, produces udder inflammation and oxidative injury in milk-producing mammals. Toll-like receptor 2(TLR2) is important for host recognition of invading Grampositive microbes. Over-expression of TLR2 in transgenic dairy goats is a useful model for studying various aspects of infection with Gram-positive bacteria, in vivo.Methods: We over-expressed TLR2 in transgenic dairy goats. Pam3CSK4, a component of Gram-positive bacteria,triggered the TLR2 signal pathway by stimulating the monocytes-macrophages from the TLR2-positive transgenic goats, and induced over-expression of activator protein-1(AP-1), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3K) and transcription factor nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB) and inflammation factors downstream of the signal pathway.Results: Compared with wild-type controls, measurements of various oxidative stress-related molecules showed that TLR2, when over-expressed in transgenic goat monocytes-macrophages, resulted in weak lipid damage, high level expression of anti-oxidative stress proteins, and significantly increased m RNA levels of transcription factor NF-E2-related factor-2(Nrf2) and the downstream gene, heme oxygenase-1(HO-1). When Pam3CSK4 was used to stimulate ear tissue in vivo the HO-1 protein of the transgenic goats had a relatively high expression level.Conclusions: The results indicate that the oxidative injury in goats over-expressing TLR2 was reduced following Pam3CSK4 stimulation. | 7 | Multi-objective Collaborative Optimization for the Lightweight Design of an Electric Bus Body Frame显示文摘To analyze the rollover safety,finite element models were established for the electric bus body frame,rollover simulation platform,living space,and bus rollover.The strength and stiffness of the body frame were calculated under four typical work-ing conditions considering the main low-order elastic modal characteristics.The results indicate that the initial body frame of the electric bus satisfies the required structural strength,stiffness,modes,and rollover safety,and it has great potential for lightweight design.Sensitivity and structural contribution analyses were performed to determine the design variables for lightweight optimization of the body frame,and a mathematical model was established for multi-objective collaborative optimization design of the electric bus.Then,the radial basis function neural network was used to approximate the optimiza-tion model.Besides,the accuracy of the approximate model was verified,and the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II was employed to determine solutions for the lightweight optimization.Compared with the initial model,the mass of the optimized model is reduced by 240 kg(9.0%)without any changes in the materials of the body frame. | Dengfeng Wang Chong Xie Yuchang Liu Wenchao Xu Qi Chen | 2020 | Automotive Innovation2020,3,3: | 2 |
| 8 | Regulating bifunctional flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene for green EMI shielding and lithium ion storage显示文摘Environment and energy are the eternal hot topics in the world,multiloculated microscale materials have attracted great attention in the field of electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and lithium ions storage.Herein,a novel flower-like NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite with adjustable structure was fabricated as EMI shielding material and anode material of lithium-ion batteries.NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite is a potential green EMI shielding material.The EMI shielding effectiveness(SE)increases with the increase of graphene content in NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,and the total EMI SE of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene with 73.6 wt.%graphene increases from 26.5 to 40.6 d B with the increase of frequency in 2–18 GHz.Furthermore,it exhibits long-life and large capacity lithium storage performance at high current density.The capacity reaches 732.79 m Ah g^(-1)after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1),recovering to more than 139%from the minimum capacity value.After 300 cycles at 0.5 A g^(-1),the capacity increases to 688.5 mAh g^(-1).The initial capacities at 2 and 5 A g^(-1)are 704.9 and 717.8 mAh g^(-1),and remain 297.9 and 203.2 m Ah g^(-1)after 1000 cycles.The distinguished EMI shielding performance and electrochemical performance are mainly ascribed to the structure regulation of NiFe_(2)O_(4)/graphene composite,as well as the synergistic effect of graphene and NiFe_(2)O_(4).This research opens up infinite opportunities for the application of multifunctional and interdisciplinary materials. | Lihua Yao Wenqiang Cao Jianguo Zhao Qi Zheng Yuchang Wang Shang Jiang Qiliang Pan Jie Song Youqi Zhu Maosheng Cao | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,32: | 2 |
