1Temporal variations and source apportionment of volatile organic compounds at an urban site in Shijiazhuang, China显示文摘Shijiazhuang,the city with the worst air quality in China,is suffering from severe ozone pollution in summer.As the key precursors of ozone generation,it is necessary to control the Volatile Organic Compounds(VOCs)pollution.To have a better understanding of the pollution status and source contribution,the concentrations of 117 ambient VOCs were analyzed from April to August 2018 in an urban site in Shijiazhuang.Results showed that the monthly average concentration of total VOCs was 66.27 ppbv,in which,the oxygenated VOCs(37.89%),alkanes(33.89%),and halogenated hydrocarbons(13.31%)were the main composite on.Eight major sources were identified using Positive Matrix Factorization modeling with an accurate VOCs emission inventory as inter-complementary methods revealed that the petrochemical industry(26.24%),other industrial sources(15.19%),and traffic source(12.24%)were the major sources for ambient VOCs in Shijiazhuang.The spatial distributions of major industrial activities emissions were identified by using geographic information statistics system,which illustrated the VOCs was mainly from the north and southeast of Shijiazhuang.The inverse trajectory analysis using Hybrid Single-Particle Lagrangian Integrated Trajectory(HYSPLIT)and Potential Source Contribution Function(PSCF)clearly demonstrated the features of pollutant transport to Shijiazhuang.These findings can provide references for local governments regarding control strategies to reduce VOCs emissions.Yanan Guan Lei Wang Shujuan Wang Yihao Zhang Jieying Xiao Xiaoli Wang Erhong Duan Li'an Hou 2020Journal of Environmental Sciences2020,32,11:19
2Targeted mutagenesis of amino acid transporter genes for rice quality improvement using the CRISPR/Cas9 system显示文摘High grain protein content(GPC) reduces rice eating and cooking quality(ECQ). We generated OsAAP6 and OsAAP10 knockout mutants in three high-yielding japonica varieties and one japonica line using the CRISPR/Cas9 system. Mutation efficiency varied with genetic background in the T_0 generation, and GPC in the T_1 generation decreased significantly,owing mainly to a reduction in glutelin content. Amylose content was down-regulated significantly in some Osaap6 and all Osaap10 mutants. The increased taste value of these mutants was supported by Rapid Visco Analysis(RVA) profiles, which showed higher peak viscosity and breakdown viscosity and lower setback viscosity than the wild type. There were no significant deficiencies in agronomic traits of the mutants. 4Building an IPv6 address generation and traceback system with NIDTGA in Address Driven Network显示文摘In the design and construction process of Next Generation Internet, it is important to identify the source of each IP packet forwarding accurately, especially for the support of precise fine-grained management,control, traceability and improving the trustworthiness of the Internet. This paper designed a scalable Network Identity(NID) scheme for the Internet users, proposed NIDTGA(Network Identity and Time Generated Address), an IPv6 address generation algorithm embedded NID and time information, then designed and implemented an IPv6 address generation and traceback system based on NIDTGA. The design of NIDTGA, which reflects the length, time and owner attributes of the IP address, can be a good support to ADN(Address Driven Network). 5The precise regulation of different COR genes by individual CBF transcription factors in Arabidopsis thaliana显示文摘The transcription factors CBF1/2/3 are reported to play a dominant role in the cold responsive network of Arabidopsis by directly regulating the expression levels of cold responsive(COR) genes.In this study,we obtained CRISPR/Cas9-mediated loss-of-function mutants of cbf1$3.Over 3,000 COR genes identified by RNA-seq analysis showed a slight but significant change in their expression levels in the mutants compared to the wildtype plants after being treated at 4 °C for 12 h.The C-repeat(CRT) motif(50-CCGAC-30) was enriched in promoters of genes that were up-regulated by CBF2 and CBF3 but not in promoters of genes up-regulated by CBF1.These data suggest that CBF2 and CBF3 play a more important role in directing the cold response by regulating different sets of downstream COR genes.More than 2/3 of COR genes were co-regulated by two or three CBFs and were involved mainly in cellular signal transduction and metabolic processes;less than 1/3 of the genes were regulated by one CBF,and those genes up-regulated were enriched in cold-related abiotic stress responses.Our results indicate that CBFs play an important role in the trade-off between cold tolerance and plant growth through the precise regulation of COR genes in the complicated transcriptional network.Yihao Shi Jiaying Huang Tianshu Sun Xuefei Wang Chenqi Zhu Yuxi Ai Hongya Gu 2017Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2017,59,2:7

7The calcium-dependent protein kinase ZmCDPK7 functions in heat-stress tolerance in maize显示文摘Global warming poses a serious threat to crops.Calcium-dependent protein kinases(CDPKs)/CPKs play vital roles in plant stress responses,but their exact roles in plant thermotolerance remains elusive.Here,we explored the roles of heat-induced ZmCDPK7 in thermotolerance in maize.ZmCDPK7-overexpressing maize plants displayed higher thermotolerance,photosynthetic rates,and antioxidant enzyme activity but lower H2 O2 and malondialdehyde(MDA)contents than wild-type plants under heat stress.ZmCDPK7-knockdown plants displayed the opposite patterns.ZmCDPK7 is attached to the plasma membrane but can translocate to the cytosol under heat stress.ZmCDPK7 interacts with the small heat shock protein sHSP17.4,phosphorylates sHSP17.4 at Ser-44 and the respiratory burst oxidase homolog RBOHB at Ser-99,and up regulates their expression.Site-directed mutagenesis of sHSP17.4 to generate a Ser-44-Ala substitution reduced ZmCDPK7’s enhancement of catalase activity but enhanced ZmCDPK7’s suppression of MDA accumulation in heat-stressed maize protoplasts.sHSP17.4,ZmCDPK7,and RBOHB were less strongly upregulated in response to heat stress in the abscisic acid-deficient mutant vp5 versus the wild type.Pretreatment with an RBOH inhibitor suppressed sHSP17.4 and ZmCDPK7 expression.Therefore,abscisic acid-induced ZmCDPK7 functions both upstream and downstream of RBOH and participates in thermotolerance in maize by mediating the phosphorylation of sHSP17.4,which might be essential for its chaperone function.Yulong Zhao Hanwei Du Yankai Wang Huali Wang Shaoyu Yang Chaohai Li Ning Chen Hao Yang Yihao Zhang Yulin Zhu Luyao Yang Xiuli Hu 2021Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2021,63,3:6

9Spiral Field Generation in Smith-Purcell Radiation by Helical Metagratings显示文摘Moving electrons interacting with media can give rise to electromagnetic radiations and has been emerged as a promising platform for particle detection,spectroscopies,and free-electron lasers.In this letter,we investigate the Smith-Purcell radiation from helical metagratings,chiral structures similar to deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA),in order to understand the interplay between electrons,photons,and object chirality.Spiral feld patterns can be generated while introducing a gradient azimuthal phase distribution to the induced electric dipole array at the cylindrical interface.Experimental measurements show efcient control over angular momentum of the radiated feld at microwave regime,utilizing a phased electromagnetic dipole array to mimic moving charged particles.Te angular momentum of the radiated wave is determined solely by the handedness of the helical structure,and it thus serves as a potential candidate for the detection of chiral objects.Our fndings not only pave a way for design of orbital angular momentum free-electron lasers but also provide a platform to study the interplay between swif electrons with chiral objects.Liqiao Jing Zuojia Wang Xiao Lin Bin Zheng Su Xu Lian Shen Yihao Yang Fei Gao Min Chen Hongsheng Chen 2019Research2019,,1:4
10Recent progression and future perspectives in cotton genomic breeding显示文摘Upland cotton is an important global cash crop for its long seed fibers and high edible oil and protein content.Progress in cotton genomics promotes the advancement of cotton genetics,evolutionary studies,functional genetics,and breeding,and has ushered cotton research and breeding into a new era.Here,we summarize high-impact genomics studies for cotton from the last 10 years.The diploid Gossypium arboreum and allotetraploid Gossypium hirsutum are the main focus of most genetic and genomic studies.We next review recent progress in cotton molecular biology and genetics,which builds on cotton genome sequencing efforts,population studies,and functional genomics,to provide insights into the mechanisms shaping abiotic and biotic stress tolerance,plant architecture,seed oil content,and fiber development.We also suggest the application of novel technologies and strategies to facilitate genome-based crop breeding.Explosive growth in the amount of novel genomic data,identified genes,gene modules,and pathways is now enabling researchers to utilize multidisciplinary genomics-enabled breeding strategies to cultivate'super cotton',synergistically improving multiple traits.These strategies must rise to meet urgent demands for a sustainable cotton industry.Zhaoen Yang Chenxu Gao Yihao Zhang Qingdi Yan Wei Hu Lan Yang Zhi Wang Fuguang Li 2023Journal of Integrative Plant Biology2023,65,2:3
11Chronic fatigue syndrome treated by the traditional Chinese proce-dure abdominal tuina:a randomized controlled clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the effect of the traditional Chinese procedure abdominal Tuina(AT) on chronic fatigue syndrome(CFS).METHODS: This randomized, single assessor-blinded clinical trial was carried out from May 2014 to April 2015. Eighty participants in the trial were divided randomly into two groups: experimental group and control. The experimental group(40 cases) was treated by AT and the control group(40 cases) by acupuncture. Each treatment was conducted once a day, 5 d for one course, at an interval of 2 d between each course. The whole treatment course lasted for 4 weeks. To ascertain the effect of AT and acupuncture, Fatigue Scale-14(FS-14), Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS) and Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD) scores were used before and after treatment. Patients were followed up for3 months after treatment.RESULTS: After treatment for 4 weeks, 77 patients(39 cases in the experimental group and 38 cases in the control group) completed the trial. The FS-14,SAS and HAMD scores decreased(P < 0.05) significantly compared with those before treatment in both groups. The FS-14 and HAMD(P < 0.05) scores in the experimental group were much lower than those in the control group. The difference in SAS scores between the two groups was not significant.In the final follow-up, CFS in two cases in the experimental group and three in the control group recurred, but the difference was not significant. 12BYSL contributes to tumor growth by cooperating with the mTORC2 complex in gliomas显示文摘Objective:BYSL,which encodes the Bystin protein in humans,is upregulated in reactive astrocytes following brain damage and/or inflammation.We aimed to determine the role and mechanism of BYSL in glioma cell growth and survival.Methods:BYSL expression in glioma tissues was measured by quantitative real-time PCR,Western blot,and immunohistochemistry.In vitro assays were performed to assess the role of BYSL in cell proliferation and apoptosis.Protein interactions and co-localization were determined by co-immunoprecipitation and double immunofluorescence.The expression and activity of the AKT/m TOR signaling molecules were determined by Western blot analysis,and the role of BYSL in glioma growth was confirmed in an orthotopic xenograft model.Results:The BYSL m RNA and protein levels were elevated in glioma tissues.Silencing BYSL inhibited glioma cell proliferation,impeded cell cycle progression,and induced apoptosis,whereas overexpressing BYSL protein led to the opposite effects.We identified a complex consisting of BYSL,RIOK2,and m TOR,and observed co-localization and positive correlations between BYSL and RIOK2 in glioma cells and tissues.Overexpressing BYSL or RIOK2 increased the expression and activity of AKT/m TOR signaling molecules,whereas downregulation of BYSL or RIOK2 decreased the activity of AKT/m TOR signaling molecules.Silencing BYSL or RIOK2 decreased the growth of the tumors and prolonged the lifespan of the animals in an orthotopic xenograft model.Conclusions:High expression of BYSL in gliomas promoted tumor cell growth and survival both in vitro and in vivo.These effects could be attributed to the association of BYSL with RIOK2 and m TOR,and the subsequent activation of AKT signaling.Shangfeng Gao Zhuang Sha Junbo Zhou Yihao Wu Yunnong Song Cheng Li Xuejiao Liu Tong Zhang Rutong Yu 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1:3
13RISP: An RPKI-Based Inter-AS Source Protection Mechanism显示文摘IP source address spoofing is regarded as one of the most prevalent components when launching an anonymous invasion,especially a Distributed Denial-of-Service(DDoS) attack.Although Source Address Validations(SAVs) at the access network level are standardized by the Internet Engineering Task Force(IETF),SAV at the inter-Autonomous System(AS) level still remains an important issue.To prevent routing hijacking,the IETF is constructing a Resource Public Key Infrastructure(RPKI) as a united trust anchor to secure interdomain routing.In this study,we creatively use the RPKI to support inter-AS SAV and propose an RPKI-based Inter-AS Source Protection(RISP) mechanism.According to the trust basis provided by the RPKI,RISP offers ASes a more credible source-oriented protection for the IP addresses they own and remains independent of the RPKI.Based on the experiments with real Internet topology,RISP not only provides better incentives,but also improves efficacy and economizes bandwidth with a modest resource consumption.Yihao Jia Ying Liu Gang Ren Lin He 2018Tsinghua Science and Technology2018,23,1:3
14Two-dimensional characterization of three-dimensional magnetic bubbles in Fe_(3)Sn_(2) nanostructures显示文摘We report differential phase contrast scanning transmission electron microscopy(TEM) of nanoscale magnetic objects in Kagome ferromagnet Fe_(3)Sn_(2) nanostructures. This technique can directly detect the deflection angle of a focused electron beam, thus allowing clear identification of the real magnetic structures of two magnetic objects including three-ring and complex arch-shaped vortices in Fe_(3)Sn_(2) by Lorentz-TEM imaging. Numerical calculations based on real material-specific parameters well reproduced the experimental results, showing that the magnetic objects can be attributed to integral magnetizations of two types of complex three-dimensional(3D) magnetic bubbles with depth-modulated spin twisting. Magnetic configurations obtained using the high-resolution TEM are generally considered as two-dimensional(2D)magnetic objects previously. 15Network Protocol Recognition Based on Convolutional Neural Network显示文摘How to correctly acquire the appropriate features is a primary problem in network protocol recognition field.Aiming to avoid the trouble of artificially extracting features in traditional methods and improve recognition accuracy,a network protocol recognition method based on Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)is proposed.The method utilizes deep learning technique,and it processes network flows automatically.Firstly,normalization is performed on the intercepted network flows and they are mapped into two-dimensional matrix which will be used as the input of CNN.Then,an improved classification model named Ptr CNN is built,which can automatically extract the appropriate features of network protocols.Finally,the classification model is trained to recognize the network protocols.The proposed approach is compared with several machine learning methods.Experimental results show that the tailored CNN can not only improve protocol recognition accuracy but also ensure the fast convergence of classification model and reduce the classification time.Wenbo Feng Zheng Hong Lifa Wu Menglin Fu Yihao Li Peihong Lin 2020China Communications2020,17,4:2
16Design method of optimal control schedule for the adaptive cycle engine steady-state performance显示文摘The alternative working modes and flexible working states are the outstanding features of an adaptive cycle engine, with a proper control schedule design being the only way to exploit the performance of such an engine. However, unreasonable design in the control schedule causes not only performance deterioration but also serious aerodynamic stability problems. Thus, in this work,a hybrid optimization method that automatically chooses the working modes and identifies the optimal and smooth control schedules is proposed, by combining the differential evolution algorithm and the Latin hypercube sampling method. The control schedule architecture does not only optimize the engine steady-state performance under different working modes but also solves the control-schedule discontinuity problem, especially during mode transition. The optimal control schedules are continuous and almost monotonic, and hence are strongly suitable for a control system, and are designed for two different working conditions, i.e., supersonic and subsonic throttling,which proves that the proposed hybrid method applies to various working conditions. 17Surface characterization of ICF capsule by AFM-based profilometer显示文摘Outside surface fluctuations of inertial confinement fusion(ICF) capsule greatly affect the implosion performance. An atomic force microscope(AFM)-based profilometer is developed to precisely characterize the capsule surface with nanometer resolution. With the standard nine surface profiles and the complete coverage data, 1D and 2D power spectra are obtained to quantitatively qualify the capsule. 20Low frequency acoustic properties of bilayer membrane acoustic metamaterial with magnetic oscillator显示文摘A bilayer membrane acoustic metamaterial was proposed to overcome the influence of the mass law on traditional acoustic materials and obtain a lightweight thin-layer structure that can effectively isolate low frequency noise. The finite element analysis(FEA) results agree well with the experimental results.It is proved that the sound transmission losses(STLs) of the proposed structures are higher than those of same surface density acoustic materials. The introduction of the magnetic mass block is different from the traditional design method, in which only a passive mass block is fixed on the membrane. The magnetic force will cause tension in the membrane, increase membrane prestress, and improve overall structural stiffness. The effects of the geometry size on the STLs are discussed in detail.
