| 2 | Neuroprotective Autophagic Flux Induced by Hyperbaric Oxygen Preconditioning is Mediated by Cystatin C显示文摘We have previously reported that Cystatin C(CysC) is a pivotal mediator in the neuroprotection induced by hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) preconditioning; however,the underlying mechanism and how CysC changes after stroke are not clear. In the present study, we demonstrated that CysC expression was elevated as early as 3 h after reperfusion, and this was further enhanced by HBO preconditioning. Concurrently, LC3-II and Beclin-1, two positive-markers for autophagy induction, exhibited increases similar to CysC, while knockdown of CysC blocked these elevations. As a marker of autophagy inhibition, p62 was downregulated by HBO preconditioning and this was blocked by CysC knockdown. Besides, the beneficial effects of preserving lysosomal membrane integrity and enhancing autolysosome formation induced by HBO preconditioning were abolished in CysC-/-rats.Furthermore, we demonstrated that exogenous CysC reduced the neurological deficits and infarct volume after brain ischemic injury, while 3-methyladenine partially reversed this neuroprotection. The initial occurrence location and spreading pathway of Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici( Pst) were first verified;there were two infection peaks of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong and one to three epidemic peaks in fields,in which the occurrence area of the first epidemic peak played a pivotal role in disease prevalence in that year; the cumulative occurrence area in late January was positively correlated with annual occurrence area,with the correlation coefficient of 0. 769; the prediction model for infected field rate,diseased plant rate and annual occurrence area was established. The internal reason for heavy occurrence and prevalence of wheat stripe rust in Nanchong was the decline or loss of wheat resistance against stripe rust,as well as the appearance of physiological races of Pst,which later became dominant races. Large fluctuation of temperature in warm winter and spring and more fog and dew days were external reasons responsible for prevalence of stripe rust. | 10 | A quantitative evaluation of the biochar’s influence on plant disease suppress:a global meta-analysis显示文摘Numerous studies have demonstrated that soil applications of biochar contribute to plant disease suppression and growth promotion.Here,we quantitatively evaluated the performance of biochars on plant disease suppression and production using meta-analysis of literature data.The results indicated that biochar amendment dramatically reduced disease severity(DS)by 47.46%while increasing plant biomass by 44.05%.The highest disease suppression was achieved with soil application of straw-derived biochar compared to biochar from other feedstocks,while no significant increase in yield was found with straw-derived biochar.Biochars pyrolyzed at medium temperatures(350-600℃)facilitate both disease controlling and growth promotion.Soil application of biochars between 3 and 5%significantly decreased plant DS by 59.11%,and inverted U-shaped biochar dose/DS suppression curve and biochar dose/growth curve were observed.In cash crop fields,the DS of plants amended with biochar was reduced over 50%,which was significantly higher than that of grain crops and perennial trees.Furthermore,biochar performance on plant disease suppression was higher for airborne pathogens than for soilborne pathogens,possibly due to the systemic activation of plant defences by biochar amendment.Additionally,a reduction of DS by biochar was observed on plants grown in agricultural soils.Our work contributes to the standardization of biochar production and provides a reference for improving the function of biochar in disease control. | Yuheng Yang Tongtong Chen Ran Xiao Xinping Chen Tong Zhang | 2022 | Biochar2022,4,1: | 1 |
| 11 | Effects of Different Row Ratios of Male and Female Parents and Application Amount of Nitrogen Fertilizer on Hybrid Wheat Seed Production and Its Component Factors显示文摘In order to screen suitable high hybrid wheat seed production technology,the split-plot experiment design was adopted and study was carried out about the effects of the different row ratios of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer on hybrid wheat seed production and its component factors. The results showed that the seed production increased with the increase in the number of female parent row. When the row ratio of male and female parents was 2 ∶ 6,the seed production was 3 683. 8 kg/ha; when the application amount of nitrogen fertilization was 50 kg/ha,the seed production was 3 649. 4 kg/ha; the interaction between the row ratio of male and female parents and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer indicated that when the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 6 and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 300 kg/ha,the seed production reached the highest( 4160. 6 kg/ha). The row ratio of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer had significant effect on the component factors of seed production,including the number of grains per spike,spike weight and setting percentage. When the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 5,the number of grains per spike,spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 26. 7 grains,1. 12 g,and 62. 6% respectively; when application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 450 kg/ha,the number of grains per spike,spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 26. 0 grains,1. 08 g,and59. 2% respectively; the interaction of row ratio of male and female parents and application amount of nitrogen fertilizer had significant effect on the number of grains per spike,spike weight and setting percentage; when the row ratio of male and female parents was 2∶ 5 and the application amount of nitrogen fertilizer was 300 kg/ha,the number of grains per spike,spike weight and setting percentage were the highest at 29. 6grains,1. 24 g,and 71. 6% respectively. Using PCR-based amplification, two different restriction sites at both ends of tobacco Bax inhibitor-1 (NtBI-1) gene were created, respectively, which made the construction of ihpRNA gene silencing vector more efficiently. Then, NtBI-1 genes were inserted into Multiple Cloning Site (MCS) of pGSA2285 respectively to form Bax inhibitor-1 ihpRNA gene silencing vector, named as pGSA4285, containing sense and anti-sense BI-1 sequence which was spliced by chalcone synthase intron. | 20 | Multi‐branch angle aware spatial temporal graph convolutional neural network for model‐based gait recognition显示文摘Model‐based gait recognition with skeleton data input has attracted more attention in recent years.The model‐based gait recognition methods take skeletons constructed by body joints as input,which are invariant to changing carrying and clothing conditions.However,previous methods limitedly model the skeleton information in either spatial or temporal domains and ignore the pose variety under different view angles,which results in poor performance for gait recognition.To solve the above problems,we propose the Multi‐Branch Angle Aware Spatial Temporal Graph Convolutional Neural Network to better depict the spatial‐temporal relationship while minimising the interference from the view angles.The model adopts the legacy Spatial Temporal Graph Neural Network(ST‐GCN)as its backbone and relocates it to create independent ST‐GCN branches.The novel Angle Estimator module is designed to predict the skeletons'view angles,which enables the network robust to the changing views.To balance the weights of different body parts and sequence frames,we build a Part‐Frame‐Importance module to redis-tribute them.Our experiments on the challenging CASIA‐B dataset have proved the efficacy of the proposed method,which achieves state‐of‐the‐art performance under different carrying and clothing conditions. | Liyang Zheng Yuheng Zha Da Kong Hanqing Yang Yu Zhang | 2022 | IET Cyber-Systems and Robotics2022,4,2: | 0 |
