| 2 | Pigment signatures of some diatoms isolated from China seas显示文摘The photosynthetic pigments of 12 species (14 strains) of cultured diatoms from six genera under specific conditions were examined by the HPLC. The diatom genera were Skeletonema, Thalassiosira, Chaetoceros, Nitzschia, Phaeodactylum and Meuniera. All strains were isolated from China seas and most of them were from the Jiaozhou Bay, China. Fifteen pigments were identified and eight of them were various chlorophyll a derivatives. Chlorophyll a, c2 and c1 and the carotenoids fucoxanthin, diadinoxanthin, diatoxanthin and β, β-carotene existed in all species. The ratios of each pigment to chlorophyll a were compared with the results in literatures. The pigment ratios of this study generally fall within the ranges reported by the literatures although the maximum ratio of fucoxanthin to chlorophyll a was higher and the ratios of chlorophyll c and diatoxanthin to chlorophyll a were low. | 7 | Childhood strokes in China describing clinical characteristics, risk factors and performance indicators: a case-series study显示文摘Aim To investigate clinical characteristics,risk factors(RFs),neurologic deficits and medical care provided in children who had a stroke in China.Methods We conducted a retrospective case-series study using the medical records of children aged 1 month to 18 years with arterial ischaemic stroke(AIS)or haemorrhagic stroke(HS)(with the entry codes I60,I61,I62,I63(ICD-10)),who were admitted to different hospitals in Beijing,between January 2018 and December 2018.We obtained the following information from the charts:demographic characteristics,clinical presentations,RFs for paediatric stroke,laboratory examination,neuroimaging records and neurologic sequelae.Results We identified 312 first admissions for stroke(172 AIS and 140 HS).The mean age at onset was 8.6±3.9 years for patients who had an AIS and 8(5–13)years for patients who had an HS.There were more males than females in both groups(AIS:59.88%vs 40.12%;HS:52.14%vs 47.86%).A known aetiology was identified in 92.44%and 86.43%of patients who had an AIS and HS,respectively.The leading cause of AIS was cerebrovascular diseases including moyamoya(68.6%),while that for HS was arteriovenous malformation(51.43%).The most common initial clinical presentation was hemiplegia(86.05%)in patients who had an AIS and headache(67.86%)in patients who had an HS.The use of healthcare,including acute treatment(antithrombotic in 17.44%,anticoagulant in 5.23%)and secondary prevention(antithrombotic in 6.39%,anticoagulant in 1.16%),varied and was significantly lower among patients who had an AIS.The most common complications were epilepsy(22.09%)and pneumonia(4.65%)in patients who had an AIS and epilepsy(17.14%)and hydrocephalus(12.14%)in patients who had an HS.Neurological deficits occurred in 62.8%of patients who had an AIS and 72.86%of patients who had an HS.Conclusion Cerebral arteriopathy was a major RF for both AIS and HS in children living in China.Large epidemiological studies are required to identify RFs to prevent stroke as well as appropriate interventions. | Yaxian Deng Gaifen Liu Guitao Zhang Juanyu Xu Chunmei Yao Lei Wang Chengsong Zhao Yongjun Wang | 2022 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Synthesis and photoactivity of pH-responsive amphiphilic block polymer photosensitizer bonded zinc phthalocyanine显示文摘A zinc tetraaminophthalocyanine derivative, zinc tetra(methacryloyl moiety)aminophthalocyanine (MeZnAPc) (with a double bond) was synthesized by the reaction between zinc tetraaminophthalocyanine (ZnTAPc) and methacryloyl chloride. Atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was employed as the polymerization technique to obtain a novel pH-responsive polymeric photosensitizer (PEG110-b-P(DPAn-co-MeZnAPcm)) by copolymerizing of methoxypolyethylene glycols (MPEG) (as reducing agent), 2-(isopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DPA) and MeZnAPc. This photosensitizer was characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy, FTIR, H NMR, etc. The results indicated that the photosensitizer presented the well pH-responsive be 1 havior around the pH range 6.0-6.5 and the high photoactivity to 1,3-diphenylisobenzofuran (DPBF). The result of photocatalysis oxidation of L-tryptophan (L-Try) suggested that zinc phthalocyanine could present high photoactivity due to its dispersivity at pH 5.5 without formation of micelles, and its photoactivity decreased dramatically at pH 7.4 due to wrapping ZnTAPc into the micelles. | 15 | Characteristics of infantile convulsions and choreoathetosis syndrome caused by PRRT2 mutation显示文摘Importance:Infantile convulsions and choreoathetosis(ICCA)is a rare neurological disorder.Many affected patients are either misdiagnosed or prescribed multiple antiepileptic drugs.Objective:To explore therapeutic drug treatments and dosages for ICCA in children.Methods:Detailed clinical features(e.g.,past medical history and family history),genetic features,and treatment outcomes were collected from the records of six patients with ICCA.Results:Mean age at paroxysmal kinesigenic dyskinesia(PKD)onset was 8 years 8 months(range,3-12 years);the clinical presentation was characterized by daily short paroxysmal episodes of dystonia/dyskinesia.All patients had infantile convulsions at less than 1 year of age,and the mean onset age was 5.5 months(range,4-7 months).Two patients had a family history of ICCA,PKD,or benign familial infantile epilepsy.Whole exome sequencing identified the c.649-650insC mutation in PRRT2 in six patients;three mutations were inherited and three were de novo.All patients were prescribed low-dose carbamazepine and showed dramatic improvement with the complete disappearance of dyskinetic episodes after 3 days.They attended follow-up for 5-17 months and were attack-free until the final follow-up.Interpretation:PRRT2 mutations are the primary cause of ICCA.Lowdose carbamazepine monotherapy is effective and well-tolerated in children. | Yaxian Deng Juanyu Xu Chunmei Yao Lei Wang Xiaohuan Dong Chengsong Zhao | 2022 | Pediatric Investigation2022,6,1: | 0 |

| 17 | HPLC Pigment Profiles of 31 Harmful Algal Bloom Species Isolated from the Coastal Sea Areas of China显示文摘Chemotaxonomy based on diagnostic pigments is now a routine tool for macroscopic determination of the composition and abundance of phytoplankton in various aquatic environments. Since the taxonomic capability of this method depends on the relationships between diagnostic pigments and chlorophyll a of classified groups, it is critical to calibrate it by using pigment relationships obtained from representative and/or dominant species local to targeted investigation area. In this study, pigment profiles of 31 harmful algal bloom(HAB) species isolated from the coastal sea areas of China were analyzed with high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC). Pigment compositions, cellular pigment densities and ratios of pigments to chlorophyll a were determined and calculated. Among all these species, 25 kinds of pigments were detected, of which fucoxanthin, peridinin, 19'-butanoyloxyfucoxanthin, 19'-hexanoyloxyfucoxanthin, violaxanthin, and antheraxanthin were diagnostic pigments. Cellular pigment density was basically independent of species and environmental conditions, and therefore was recommended as a bridge to compare the results of HPLC-CHEMTAX technique with the traditional microscopy method. Pigment ratios of algal species isolated from the coast of China, especially the diagnostic pigment ratios, were higher than those from other locations. According to these results, pigment ratio ranges of four classes of phytoplankton common off the coast of China were summarized for using in the current chemotaxonomic method. Moreover, the differences of pigments ratios among different species under the same culturing conditions were consistent with their biological differences. | 18 | Eco-friendly glucose assisted structurally simplified high-efficiency tin-lead mixed perovskite solar cells显示文摘Achieving highly-efficient and stable perovskite solar cells(PSCs) with a simplified structure remains challenging, despite the tremendous potential for reducing preparation cost and facile processability by removing hole transport layer(HTL). In this work, eco-friendly glucose(Gl) as an interface modifier for HTL-free narrow bandgap tin-lead(Sn-Pb) PSCs is proposed. Gl not only enhances the wettability of the indium tin oxide to promote perovskite heterogeneous nucleation on substrate, but also realizes defect passivation by interacting with uncoordinated Pb^(2+) and Sn^(2+) in perovskite films. As a result, the quality of the perovskite films has been significantly improved, accompanied by reduced defects of bottom interface and optimized energy level structure of device, leading to an efficiency increase and a less nonradiative voltage loss of 0.102 V(for a bandgap of ~1.26 eV). Consequently, the optimized PSC delivers an unprecedented efficiency over 21% with high open-circuit voltage and enhanced stability, outperforming the control device. | 19 | A hybrid CNN-LSTM model for diagnosing rice nutrient levels at the rice panicle initiation stage显示文摘Nitrogen(N)and potassium(K)are two key mineral nutrient elements involved in rice growth.Accurate diagnosis of N and K status is very important for the rational application of fertilizers at a specific rice growth stage.Therefore,we propose a hybrid model for diagnosing rice nutrient levels at the early panicle initiation stage(EPIS),which combines a convolutional neural network(CNN)with an attention mechanism and a long short-term memory network(LSTM).The model was validated on a large set of sequential images collected by an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)from rice canopies at different growth stages during a two-year experiment.Compared with VGG16,AlexNet,GoogleNet,DenseNet,and inceptionV3,ResNet101 combined with LSTM obtained the highest average accuracy of 83.81%on the dataset of Huanghuazhan(HHZ,an indica cultivar).When tested on the datasets of HHZ and Xiushui 134(XS134,a japonica rice variety)in 2021,the ResNet101-LSTM model enhanced with the squeeze-and-excitation(SE)block achieved the highest accuracies of 85.38 and 88.38%,respectively.Through the cross-dataset method,the average accuracies on the HHZ and XS134 datasets tested in 2022 were 81.25 and 82.50%,respectively,showing a good generalization.Our proposed model works with the dynamic information of different rice growth stages and can efficiently diagnose different rice nutrient status levels at EPIS,which are helpful for making practical decisions regarding rational fertilization treatments at the panicle initiation stage. | Fubing Liao Xiangqian Feng Ziqiu Li Danying Wang Chunmei Xu Guang Chu Hengyu Ma Qing Yao Song Chen | 2024 | Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,2: | 0 |
