1Occurrence, sources and fate of pharmaceuticals and personal care products in the groundwater: A review显示文摘The presence of pharmaceuticals and personal care products(PPCPs)in the aquatic environment may pose potential threat to the ecosystem and human health,hence PPCPs have aroused much concern over the world.The contamination of PPCPs in the groundwater,the main source of drinking water supply in many countries and regions,has been extensively studied in the last decade.This paper reviews the occurrence of frequently detected PPCPs,including antibiotics,anti-inflammatories,lipid-regulators,carbamazepine,caffeine,and N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide in groundwater,with special concern to the progress made over the past three years.Possible emission sources for PPCPs in groundwater,such as wastewater and contaminated surface water,landfills,septic systems,livestock breeding and sewer leakage,are summarized.Besides,adsorption,migration and degradation,the dominant mechanisms in the subsurface transport and fate of PPCPs,are discussed,and the insights into the future study of PPCPs in the groundwater are provided.Qian Sui Xuqi Cao Shuguang Lu Wentao Zhao Zhaofu Qiu Gang Yu 2015Emerging Contaminants2015,1,1:20
2Red Ratings for Loess-Paleosol Sequences on China’s Loess Plateau and Their Paleo-Climatic Implications显示文摘Comparisons of red ratings (RR) with Fed, Fed/Fet, clay content, and magnetic susceptibility (X) of two loess-paleosol sequences at Luochuan and Lingtai on China's Loess Plateau were conducted to study the possible relationship between RR and pedogenic degrees of the two loess-paleosol sequences, and to discuss whether the RR could become new paleo-climatic indicators. Results showed that the RR of the two loess-paleosol sequences had positive, highly significant (P < 0.01)correlations with: 1) citrate-bicarbonate-dithionite (CBD) extracted iron (Fed), 2) ratios of CBD extracted iron to total iron (Fed/Fet), 3) clay (< 2 μm), and 4) magnetic susceptibility (X). This suggested that the RR of these loess-paleosol sequences could indicate degrees of loess weathering and pedogenesis and were potential paleo-climatic proxies. The strong correlations of RR to Fed and X also implied that during pedogenic processes, pedogenic hematite in loess and paleosols were closely related to the amount of total secondary iron oxides and pedogenic ferrimagnetic minerals (predominantly maghemite).HUXue-Feng LUHua-Yu XUQi DONGLi-Jing HUXing 2004Pedosphere2004,14,4:5
3Biodegradation of bezafibrate by the activated sludge under aerobic condition:Effect of initial concentration,temperature and pH显示文摘Lab-scale experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of initial concentration,temperature and pH on the removal of bezafibrate(BF)by activated sludge under aerobic condition.The results showed that adsorption of BF onto activated sludge was negligible,and biodegradation was the main removal mechanism of BF.The removal of BF in the aqueous phase by the activated sludge can be described by a pseudo-first-order reaction.The reaction rate constants had a negative relationship with the initial concentration of BF,and dramatically reduced from 0.050 to 0.007 h^-1,when the temperature dropped from 20℃to 10℃.Variation of pH between 5.0 and 9.0 did not have significant influence on the removal of BF,indicating a high adaptation of microorganism in the activated sludge responsible for BF degradation to a wide pH range.The findings of this study are helpful to improve the removal of pharmaceuticals during the wastewater treatment plants by selecting the appropriate process variables,and eventually eliminate their release to the environment.Qian Sui Pingping Yan Xuqi Cao Shuguang Lu Wentao Zhao Maozhe Chen 2016Emerging Contaminants2016,2,4:2
4NIR Chemical-Image Analysis Based on Adaptive Local Optimization PSO显示文摘Principal component analysis(PCA) combined with cluster analysis has become an effective approach for Near-infrared(NIR) chemical image analysis.Traditional cluster algorithms are sensitive to initial starting conditions and can be trapped into local optimal solutions. To overcome the drawbacks, we develop a new algorithm in this paper which improves Particle swarm optimization with Adaptive local optimization(ALO-PSO).Simulation experiments performed on NIR image of tablet verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. 13In-situ and one-step preparation of protein film in capillary column for open tubular capillary electrochromatography enantioseparation显示文摘In this wo rk,the phase-transitioned BSA(PTB)film using the mild and fast fabrication process adhered to the capillary inner wall uniformly,and the fabricated PTB film-coated capillary column was applied to realize open tubular capillary electrochromatography(OT-CEC)enantioseparation.The enantioseparation ability of PTB film-coated capillary was evaluated with eight pairs of chiral analytes including drugs and neurotransmitters,all achieving good resolution and symmetrical peak shape.For three consecutive runs,the relative standard deviations(RSD)of migration time for intra-day,inter-day,and column-tocolumn repeatability were in the range of 0.3%-3.5%,0.2%-4.9%and 2.1%-7.7%,respectively.Moreover,the PTB film-coated capillary column ran continuously over 300 times with high separation efficiency.Therefore,the coating method based on BSA self-assembly supramolecular film can be extended to the preparation of other proteinaceous capillary columns.Ling Li Xuqi Xue Huige Zhang Wenjuan Lv Shengda Qi Hongying Du Anne Manyande Hongli Chen 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,7:1

19Preliminary Study on the Expression and the Significance of S-Phase Kinase Associated Protein 2 in Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia and Breast Cancer显示文摘OBJECTIVE To explore the relationship of high S-phase kinase associ- ated protein 2 (Skp2) expression with the characteristics of breast cancer. METHODS Using a immunohistochemical method, Skp2 expression was detected and evaluated in 30 normal tissues, 30 atypical ductal hy- perplasias (ADH), 30 ductal carcinomas in situ (DCIS) and 56 invasive carcinomas (including invasive specific carcinoma and invasive nonspe- cific carcinoma). The relationship between Skp2 expression and the characteristics of breast cancer was analyzed. RESULTS Skp2 expression varied among normal tissue, ADH, DCIS and invasive carcinomas (χ2=54.02, P<0.005). The positive level of Skp2 ex- pression in DCIS was higher than that of normal tissue (χ2=21.82, P< 0.005) and there was a significant difference in Skp2 between DCIS and ADH (χ2=5.08, P<0.025) as well as between invasive carcinomas and DCIS (χ2=6.52, P<0.01). The positive expression level of Skp2 in invasive carcinomas with positive lymph nodes was remarkably higher compared to those with negative lymph nodes. A significant difference in Skp2 ex- pression was found between combined histological Grades I and II ver- sus Grade III of invasive carcinomas (χ2=6.66, P<0.01). 20Electron Microscopic Study of Manganese Minerals in the Polymetallic Nodules from the Central Pacific Ocean显示文摘Manganese minerals in the polymetallic nodules from the Central Pacific Ocean were studied using electron microscopy. The principal Mn minerals, being vernadite and todorokite, exhibit different electron diffraction patterns and morphological features. According to its morphological feature, todorokite shows three phases: fibrous, lamellar and lath-shaped. Both vernadite and todorokite are authigenic minerals. While vernadite was mainly precipitated directly from the relevant solution by microbiological oxidation, todorokite was separated from the solution chemically without the help of microbe.
