1Cenozoic uplift of the Tibetan Plateau:Evidence from the tectonic-sedimentary evolution of the western Qaidam Basin显示文摘Geologists agree that the collision of the Indian and Asian plates caused uplift of the Tibet Plateau.However,controversy still exists regarding the modes and mechanisms of the Tibetan Plateau uplift.Geology has recorded this uplift well in the Qaidam Basin.This paper analyzes the tectonic and sedimentary evolution of the western Qaidam Basin using sub-surface seismic and drill data. The Cenozoic intensity and history of deformation in the Qaidam Basin have been reconstructed based on the tectonic developments,faults growth index,sedimentary facies variations,and the migration of the depositional depressions.The changes in the sedimentary facies show that lakes in the western Qaidam Basin had gone from inflow to still water deposition to withdrawal.Tectonic movements controlled deposition in various depressions,and the depressions gradually shifted southeastward.In addition,the morphology of the surface structures in the western Qaidam Basin shows that the Cenozoic tectonic movements controlled the evolution of the Basin and divided it into(a) the southern fault terrace zone, (b) a central Yingxiongling orogenic belt,and(c) the northern fold-thrust belt;divided by the XI fault (Youshi fault) and Youbei fault,respectively.The field data indicate that the western Qaidam Basin formed in a Cenozoic compressive tectonic environment caused by the India—Asia plate collision. Further,the Basin experienced two phases of intensive tectonic deformation.The first phase occurred during the Middle Eocene—Early Miocene(Xia Ganchaigou Fm.and Shang Ganchaigou Fm.,43.8—22 Ma),and peaked in the Early Oligocene(Upper Xia Ganchaigou Fm.,31.5 Ma).The second phase occurred between the Middle Miocene and the Present(Shang Youshashan Fm.and Qigequan Fm., 14.9—0 Ma),and was stronger than the first phase.The tectonic—sedimentary evolution and the orientation of surface structures in the western Qaidam Basin resulted from the Tibetan Plateau uplift,and recorded the periodic northward growth of the Plateau.Recognizing this early tectonic—sedimentary evolution supports the previous conclusion that northern Tibet responded to the collision between India and Asia shortly after its initiation.However,the current results reveal that northern Tibet also experienced another phase of uplift during the late Neogene.The effects of these two stages of tectonic activity combined to produce the current Tibetan Plateau.Yadong Wang Jianjing Zheng Weilin Zhang Shiyuan Li Xingwang Liu Xin Yang Yuhu Liu 2012Geoscience Frontiers2012,3,2:23
2Gas Hydrates in the Qilian Mountain Permafrost, Qinghai, Northwest China显示文摘Qilian Mountain permafrost, with area about 10×104 km2, locates in the north of Qinghai-Tibet plateau. It equips with perfect conditions and has great prospecting potential for gas hydrate. The Scientific Drilling Project of Gas Hydrate in Qilian Mountain permafrost, which locates in Juhugeng of Muri Coalfield, Tianjun County, Qinghai Province, has been implemented by China Geological Survey in 2008–2009. Four scientific drilling wells have been completed with a total footage of 2059.13 m. Samples of gas hydrate are collected separately from holes DK-1, DK-2 and DK-3. Gas hydrate is hosted under permafrost zone in the 133–396 m interval. The sample is white crystal and easily burning. Anomaly low temperature has been identified by the infrared camera. The gas hydrate-bearing cores strongly bubble in the water. Gas-bubble and water-drop are emitted from the hydrate-bearing cores and then characteristic of honeycombed structure is left. The typical spectrum curve of gas hydrate is detected using Raman spectrometry. Furthermore, the logging profile also indicates high electrical resistivity and sonic velocity. 3Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis of essential oils from five parts of Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis)显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To analyze the essential oils from flowers, leaves, stems, roots, and fruits of Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis).METHODS: We extracted essential oils from different parts of Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis) using a steam distillation method. The essential oils were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS). Data were collected in full scan mode(m/z 60-600). Volatile components were identified based on their retention indices and by comparing their mass spectra with those in the National Institute of Standards and Technology 2005 database assisted by tandem mass spectrometry information. The relative content of each constituent wasdetermined by area normalization.RESULTS: We identified 111 components, of which12 were common to all 5 parts, 30 were found only in roots, 14 were found only in flowers, 6 were found only in leaves, 4 were found only in stems,and 17 were found only in fruits.CONCLUSION: Our results show that the stems,flowers, leaves, and fruits of Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis)contain a high concentration of essential oils, and that the exact composition of the essential oils differs among the plant parts. To develop new medicines and make full use of the Chaihu(Radix Bupleuri Chinensis)resource, it is important to characterize the essential oils from different parts of the plant. 4Synthesis,luminescent properties,and theoretical study of novel Sm^(3+) and Dy^(3+) complexes containing β-diketone and 1,10-phenanthroline显示文摘Two new ternary complexes of 1-(2-thienyl)-3-(p-phenylethynylphenyl)-1,3-propanedione(HTPP) and 1,10-phenanthroline(phen) with Sm3+ and Dy3+ were synthesized.The composition of the ternary complexes was characterized as Sm(TPP)3phen and Dy(TPP)3phen,respectively,by infrared(IR) spectra,chemical analysis,elemental analysis,and thermodynamic analysis.At room temperature,under UV light excitation,the Sm3+ and Dy3+ complexes exhibit characteristic emissions of the central ions.It is found that the fluorescence intensity of Sm(TPP)3phen is stronger than that of Dy(TPP)3phen.In order to explain this phenomenon,an accurate quantum chemistry calculation was carried out,and the result is in good agreement with the experiment data.LIU Xingwang GAO Saishengtai WANG Li SHEN Leijun JIANG Jiadong GAO Junfang 2011Rare Metals2011,30,1:7
5Enhanced Vitamin C Production Mediated by an ABA-Induced PTP-like Nucleotidase Improves Plant Drought Tolerance in Arabidopsis and Maize显示文摘Abscisic acid(ABA)is a key phytohormone that mediates environmental stress responses.Vitamin C,or L-ascorbic acid(AsA),is the most abundant antioxidant protecting against stress damage in plants.How the ABA and AsA signaling pathways interact in stress responses remains elusive.In this study,we characterized the role of a previously unidentified gene,PTPN(PTP-like Nucleotidase)in plant drought tolerance.In Arabidopsis,(AtPTPN was expressed in multiple tissues and upregulated by ABA and drought treatments.Loss-of-function mutants oiAtPTPN were hyposensitive to ABA but hypersensitive to drought stresses,whereas plants with enhanced expression AtPTPN showed opposite phenotypes to.Overexpression of maize PTPN(ZmPTPN)promoted,while knockdown oiZmPTPN inhibited plant drought tolerance,indicating conserved and positive roles of PTPN in plant drought tolerance.We found that both AtPTPN and ZmPTPN release Pi by hydrolyzing GDP/GMP/dGMP/IMP/dIMP,and that AtPTPN positively regulated AsA production via endogenous Pi content control.Consistently,overexpression of VTC2,the rate-limiting synthetic enzyme in AsA biosynthesis,promoted AsA production and plant drought tolerance,and these effects were largely dependent on AtPTPN activity.Furthermore,we demonstrated that the heat shock transcription factor HSFA6a directly binds the AtPTPN promoter and activates AtPTPN expression.Genetic analyses showed that AtPTPN is required for HSFA6a to regulate ABA and drought responses.Taken together,our data indicate that PTPN-mediated crosstalk between the ABA signaling and AsA biosynthesis pathways positively controls plant drought tolerance.Hui Zhang Yanli Xiang Neng He Xiangguo Liu Hongbo Liu Liping Fang Fei Zhang Xiaopeng Sun Delin Zhang Xingwang Li William Terzaghi Jianbing Yan Mingqiu Dai 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,5:7

7Non-noble metal single-atom catalysts prepared by wet chemical method and their applications in electrochemical water splitting显示文摘Water splitting by electrolysis is an appealing pathway for sustainable hydrogen production. The practical performance of water splitting is highly dependent on the efficiency of electrocatalysts, which can promote the anodic oxygen evolution reaction(OER) or cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER). Downsizing the metal nanostructures to atomic level to construct single-atom catalysts(SACs) has attracted enormous attention due to its distinct advantages in maximizing the efficiency of metal atom utilization and enhancing activity over corresponding metal nanoparticles. Research on SACs towards electrochemical water splitting application is an emerging field and intensive investigations have been focused on their rational syntheses and applications in HER/OER. In this review, we focus on the wet chemical method developed to prepare non-noble metal based SACs with an emphasis on the synthetic strategies and structure-activity relationship between single metal atoms and catalytic activity. 8DJ-1 is involved in the multidrug resistance of SGC7901 gastric cancer cells through PTEN/PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 pathway显示文摘Gastric cancer is a common malignancy worldwide.The occurrence of multidrug resistance(MDR)is the major obstacle for effective gastric cancer chemotherapy.In this study,the in-depth molec-ular mechanism of the DJ-1-induced MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells was investigated.The results showed that DJ-1 expression level was higher in MDR variant SGC7901NCR cells than that in its parental SGC7901 cells.Moreover,DJ-1 overexpression conferred the MDR phenotype to SGC7901 cells,while DJ-1 knockdown in SGC7901NCR cells induced re-sensitization to adriamycin,vincristine,cisplatin,and 5-fluorouracil.These results suggested that DJ-1 mediated the develop-ment of MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Importantly,further data revealed that the activation of PI3k/Akt and Nrf2 signaling pathway were required for the DJ-1-induced MDR phenotype in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Meanwhile,we found that Pl3k/Akt pathway was activated probably through DJ-1 directly binding to and negatively regulating PTEN,consequently resulting in Nrf2 phosphorylation and activation,and thereby inducing Nrf2-dependent P-glycoprotein(P-gp)and Bcl-2 expressions in the DJ-1-mediated MDR of SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.Overall,these results revealed that activating PTEN/PI3K/Akt/Nrf2 pathway and subsequently upregulating P-gp and Bcl-2 expression could be a critical mechanism by which DJ-1 mediates the development of MDR in SGC7901 gastric cancer cells.The new findings may be helpful for understanding the mechanisms of MDR in gastric cancer cells,prompting its further investigation as a molecular target to overcome MDR.Lejia Qiu Zhaoxia Ma Xiaoran Li Yizhang Deng Guangling Duan Le Zhao Xingwang Xu Lin Xiao Haoyue Liu Zhengming Zhu Heping Chen 2020Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2020,52,11:5
9A satellite clock error correction method in the wide area differential system显示文摘Based on the deep analysis of the wide area differential principle on the separation of satellite ephemeris errors and clock errors, the similarities and differences between the absolute separation of satellite ephemeris errors under time synchronization among the differential stations and relative separation of them under no time synchronization among them are analyzed. A one-station correction method of satellite clock errors including the 1st and the 2nd step correction is given under no time synchronization among these secondary stations, and the backward inference algorithm of the second correction of satellite clock errors is proposed. 10Materials Experiment on Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory显示文摘During the China's Tiangong-2(TG-2) flight mission, the experiments of 18 kinds of material samples were conducted in space by using a Multiple Materials Processing Furnace(MMPF) mounted in the orbital module of the TG-2 space laboratory. After the experiments of 12 kinds of samples of the first and second batches were completed successfully, astronauts packed and brought them back to the ground by ShenzhouII spacecraft. By studying processing and formation on semiconductor and optoelectronics materials, metal alloys and metastable materials, functional single-crystal, micro-and nano-composite materials encapsulated in sample ampoules both in space and on Earth, we expect to explore some physical and chemical processes and mechanism of the materials formation that are normally obscured and therefore are difficult to study quantitatively on the ground due to the gravity-induced convection, to obtain the processing and synthesis technology for preparing high quality materials, and lead to the improvement and development of materials processing techniques on Earth, and also develop the experiment device and comprehensive ability for materials experiment in microgravity environment. 11Nickel oxide for inverted structure perovskite solar cells显示文摘The emergence of inverted perovskite solar cells(PSCs) has attached great attention derived from the potential in improving stability. Charge transporting layer, especially hole transporting layer is crucial for efficient inverted PSCs. Organic materials were used as hole transporting layer previously. Recently, more and more inorganic hole transporting materials have been deployed for further improving the device stability. Nickel oxide(NiOx) as p-type metal oxide, owning high charge mobility and intrinsic stability,has been widely adopted in inverted PSCs. High performance over 20% efficiency has been achieved on NiOx base inverted PSCs. Herein, we have summarized recent progresses and strategies on the NiOx based PSCs, including the synthesis or deposition methods of NiOx, doping and surface modification of NiOx for efficient and stable PSCs. 13Studies on treatment of chlorophenol-containing wastewater by microbial fuel cell显示文摘A microbial fuel cell with 4-CP as oxidant was established to investigate the feasibility of 4-CP dechlorination in the cathodic chamber of MFC. It demonstrated good performance on electricity generation with Pmax 12.4 mW/m2 and CE 22.7%. 16Unraveling the 3D Genome Architecture in Plants:Present and Future显示文摘The eukaryotic genome has a hierarchicalthree-dimensional(3D)organization with functional implications for DNA replication,DNA repair,and transcriptional regulation.Over the past decade,scientists have endeavored to elucidate the spatial characteristics and functions of plant genome architecture using high-throughput chromatin conformation capturing technologies such as Hi-C,ChlA-PET,and HiChIP.Here,we systematically review current understanding of chromatin organization in plants at multiple scales.We also discuss the emerging opinions and concepts in 3D genome research,focusing on state-of-the-art 3D genome techniques,RNA-chromatin interactions,liquid-liquid phase separation,and dynamic chromatin alterations.We propose the application of single-cell/single-molecule multi-omics,multiway(DNA-DNA,DNA-RNA,and RNA-RNA interactions)chromatin conformation capturing methods,and proximity ligation-independent 3D genome-mapping technologies to explore chromatin organization structure and function in plants.Such methods could reveal the spatial interactions between trait-related SNPs and their target genes at various spatiotemporal resolutions,and elucidate the molecular mecha-nisms of the interactions among DNA elements,RNA molecules,and protein factors during the formation of key traits in plants.Weizhi Ouyang Dan Xiong Guoliang Li Xingwang Li 2020Molecular Plant2020,13,12:2

18Heterogeneous single-cluster catalysts(Mn_(3),Fe_(3),Co_(3),and Mo_(3))supported on nitrogen-doped graphene for robust electrochemical nitrogen reduction显示文摘Electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is one of the most promising alternatives to the traditional Haber-Bosch process.Designing efficient electrocatalysts is still challenging.Inspired by the recent experimental and theoretical advances on single-cluster catalysts(SCCs),we systematically investigated the catalytic performance of various triple-transition-metal-atom clusters anchored on nitrogen-doped graphene for NRR through density functional theory(DFT)calculation.Among them,Mn_(3)-N4,Fe_(3)-N4,Co_(3)-N4,and Mo_(3)-N4 were screened out as electrocatalysis systems composed of non-noble metal with high activity,selectivity,stability,and feasibility.Particularly,the Co_(3)-N4 possesses the highest activity with a limiting potential of-0.41 V through the enzymatic mechanism.The outstanding performance of Co_(3)-N4 can be attributed to the unique electronic structure leading to strong π backdonation,which is crucial in effective N_(2) activation.This work not only predicts four efficient non-noble metal electrocatalysts for NRR,but also suggest the SCCs can serve as potential candidates for other important electrochemical reactions.Guokui Zheng Lei Li Ziqi Tian Xingwang Zhang Liang Chen 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2
19Genetically modified CD7-targeting allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy with enhanced efficacy for relapsed/refractory CD7-positive hematological malignancies:a phase I clinical study显示文摘Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cell therapy against T cell malignancies faces major challenges including fratricide between CAR-T cells and product contamination from the blasts.Allogeneic CAR-T cells,generated from healthy donor T cells,can provide ready-to-use,blast-free therapeutic products,but their application could be complicated by graft-versus-host disease(GvHD)and host rejection.Here we developed healthy donor-derived,CD7-targeting CAR-T cells(RD13-01)with genetic modifications to resist fratricide,GvHD and allogeneic rejection,as well as to potentiate antitumor function.A phase I clinical trial(NCT04538599)was conducted with twelve patients recruited(eleven with T cell leukemia/lymphoma,and one with CD7-expressing acute myeloid leukemia).All patients achieved pre-set end points and eleven proceeded to efficacy evaluation.No dose-limiting toxicity,GvHD,immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity or severe cytokine release syndrome(grade≥3)were observed.28 days post infusion,81.8%of patients(9/11)showed objective responses and the complete response rate was 63.6%(7/11,including the patient with AML).3 of the responding patients were bridged to allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.With a median follow-up of 10.5 months,4 patients remained in complete remission.Cytomegalovirus(CMV)and/or Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)reactivation was observed in several patients,and one died from EBV-associated diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).Expansion of CD7-negative normal T cells was detected post infusion.In summary,we present the first report of a Phase I clinical trial using healthy donor-derived CD7-targeting allogeneic CAR-T cells to treat CD7^(+)hematological malignancies.Our results demonstrated the encouraging safety and efficacy profiles of the RD13-01 allogeneic CAR-T cells for CD7^(+)tumors.Yongxian Hu Yali Zhou Mingming Zhang Houli Zhao Guoqing Wei Wengang Ge Qu Cui Qitian Mu Gong Chen Lu Han Tingting Guo Jiazhen Cui Xiaoyan Jiang Xiujun Zheng Shuhui Yu Xiaolong Li Xingwang Zhang Mingxi Chen Xiuju Li Ming Gao Kang Wang Cheng Zu Hao Zhang Xiaohong He Yanbin Wang Dongrui Wang Jiangtao Ren He Huang 2022Cell Research2022,32,11:2
