| 3 | Immune checkpoint inhibitors for treatment of advanced gastric or gastroesophageal junction cancer:Current evidence and future perspectives显示文摘Despite the application of conventional therapies,the prognosis of advanced gastric cancer(GC)or gastroesophageal junction cancer(GEJC)is still poor.In recent years,immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)have reshaped the paradigm of cancer therapy.Emerging evidence support the feasibility of programmed cell death-1(PD-1)and its ligand(PD-L1)inhibition in chemo-refractory GC/GEJC.Nivolumab and pembrolizumab have initially been approved in Japan and United States,respectively for the third-line treatment of progressive GC or GEJC.In March 2020,nivolumab has also been licensed in China for treating advanced GC/GEJC who received≥2 lines of systemic therapies.Current studies are moving forward to the first-line application or focusing on combination strategies,though data are insufficient and disputable.In this review,we summarize the recently reported and ongoing clinical trials in ICIs for advanced GC/GEJC.Molecular characteristics and clinical implications of different tumor subtypes are also reviewed.We further discuss the safety profile and biomarkers for predicting the response of ICIs,which has guiding values in clinical practice. | Zhening Zhang T ong Xie Xiaotian Zhang Changsong Qi Lin Shen Zhi Peng | 2020 | Chinese Journal of Cancer Research2020,32,3: | 10 |

| 6 | Cyclosporin A protects Balb/c mice from liver damage induced by superantigen SEB and D-GaIN显示文摘AIM To investigate the pathogenic effect ofSEB and D-GalN on liver and the protection ofcyclosporin A, the relationship between hepaticapoptosis and necrosis and the possiblemechanism of acute hepatic necrosis.METHODS After staphylococcal enterotoxin B(SEB ) mixed with D--galactosamine (D-GaiN )were injected intraperitoneally into Balb/c miceand those previously treated with cyclosporin A,blood samples were collected and livers wereisolated at 2, 6, 12 and 24 h. Patterns othepatocellular death were studiedmorphologically and biochemically, circulatingcytokines (TNF-a, IFN--y ) and mice mortalitywithin 24h was assessed.RESU’LTS The SEB could induce the typicalapoptotic changes of hepatocytes, the D-GaiNcould induce hepatocytes apoptosis anddegeneration at the same time, and the micehaving received the SEB + D-GaiN injectionsdeveloped apoptosis at 2 and 6 h, but after 12 hhepatocytes were characterized by severein jury, whereas all the examinations in thecyclosporin A treated mice were normal.CONCLUSION Hepatic cell apoptosis might berelated to necrosis, and massive hepatocyteapoptosis is likely the initiating step of acutehepatic necrosis in mice. | 8 | Spectral reflectance response to nitrogen fertilization in field grown corn显示文摘This study was carried out to analyze the spectral reflectance response of different nitrogen levels for corn crops.Four different nitrogen treatments of 0%,80%,100%and 120%BMP(best management practice)were studied.Principal component analysis-loading(PCA-loading)was used to identify the effective wavelengths.Partial least squares(PLS)and multiple linear regression(MLR)models were built to predict different nitrogen values.Vegetation indices(VIs)were calculated and then used to build more prediction models.Both full and selected wavelengths-based models showed similar prediction trends.The overall PLS model obtained the coefficient of determination(R^(2))of 0.6535 with a root mean square error(RMSE)of 0.2681 in the prediction set.The selected wavelengths for overall MLR model obtained the R^(2) of 0.6735 and RMSE of 0.3457 in the prediction set.The results showed that the wavelengths in visible and near infrared region(350-1000 nm)performed better than the two either spectral regions(1001-1350/1425-1800 nm and 2000-2400 nm).For each data set,the wavelengths around 555 nm and 730 nm were identified to be the most important to predict nitrogen rates.The vogelmann red edge index 2(VOG 2)performed the best among all VIs.It demonstrated that spectral reflectance has the potential to be used for analyzing nitrogen response in corn. | Chuanqi Xie Ce Yang Alexander Hummel Jr Gregg A Johnson Forrest T Izuno | 2018 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4: | 2 |
