1Dust storm in Asia continent and its bio-environmental effects in the North Pacific: A case study of the strongest dust event in April, 2001 in central Asia显示文摘Testing the effects of iron fertilization in booming metabolism of microbes in North Pacific Ocean has become an important hot topic in current global climate change study. The first supportive evidence with natural iron inputs to ocean was ob-tained by Bishop and his colleagues at the PAPA re-gion in North Pacific Ocean. They found a rapid in-crease of marine phytoplankton over North Pacific Ocean after a strong dust storm in April 2001. We demonstrate that the dust deposition flux during this dust storm period decreases exponentially with in-creasing distance from the dust source regions along the dust transport pathway, through integration of synoptic dynamics, changes of TOMS-AI (aerosol index) and surface PM10 values along the dust pathway and changes of particulate organic carbon and chlorophyll in surface oceans. This strong dust storm may result in deposition of about 3.1—5.8 μg/m3 eolian iron into the PAPA region in North Pa-cific Ocean, thus causing a rapid increase of marine phytoplankton productivity observed by Bishop and his colleagues. 2Natural gas leakage of Mizhi gas reservoir in Ordos Basin, recorded by natural gas fluid inclusion显示文摘Abundant natural gas inclusions were found in calcite veins filled in fractures of Central Fault Belt across the centre of Ordos Basin. Time of the calcite veins and characteristics of natural gas fluid inclusion were investigated by means of dating of thermolum luminescence (TL) and analyzing stable isotope of fluid inclusion. Results show that natural gas inclusion formed at 130―140℃ with salinity of 5.5 wt%―6.0 wt% NaCl. It indicates that natural gas inclusion is a kind of thermal hydrocarbon fluid formed within the basin. Method of opening inclusion by heating was used to analyze composition of fluid inclusion online, of which the maximal hydrocarbon gas content of fluid inclusion contained in veins is 2.4219 m3/t rock and the maximal C1/Σci ratio is 91%. Laser Raman spectroscopy (LRS) was used to analyze chemistry of individual fluid inclusion in which the maximal hydrocarbon gas content is 91.6% compared with little inorganic composition. Isotope analysis results of calcite veins show that they were deposited in fresh water, in which the δ13CPDB of calcite veins is from -5.75‰ to 15.23‰ andδ18OSMOW of calcite veins is from 21.33‰ to 21.67‰. Isotope results show thatδ13C1 PDB of natural gas fluid inclusion is from -21.36‰ to -29.06‰ and δDSMOW of that is from -70.89‰ to -111.03‰. It indicates that the gas of fluid inclusion formed from coal source rocks and it is the same as that of natural gas of Mizhi gas reservoir. Results of TL dating show that time of calcite vein is (32.4±3.42)×104 a, which is thought to be formation time of gas inclusion. At the same time, the map unification and harmonization should be taken into account dur-ing the design process, since some visual conflicts appear when map symbols overlaid on the true color image. The objective of this research is to explore the rules in the process of true color image city map design based on chromatic and aesthetic knowledge. 7Cyasterone inhibits IL-1β-mediated apoptosis and inflammation via the NF-κB and MAPK signaling pathways in rat chondrocytes and ameliorates osteoarthritis in vivo显示文摘Osteoarthritis is a prevalent global joint disease,which is characterized by inflammatory reaction and cartilage degradation.Cyasterone,a sterone derived from the roots of Cyathula officinalis Kuan,exerts protective effect against several inflammationrelated diseases.However,its effect on osteoarthritis remains unclear.The current study was designed to investigate the potential antiosteoarthritis activity of cyasterone.Primary chondrocytes isolated from rats induced by interleukin(IL)-1βand a rat model stimulated by monosodium iodoacetate(MIA)were used for in vitro and in vivo experiments,respectively.The results of in vitro experiments showed that cyasterone apparently counteracted chondrocyte apoptosis,increased the expression of collagen II and aggrecan,and restrained the production of the inflammatory factors inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS),cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2),a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs-5(ADAMTS-5),metalloproteinase-3(MMP-3),and metalloproteinase-13(MMP13)induced by IL-1βin chondrocytes.Furthermore,cyasterone ameliorated the inflammation and degenerative progression of osteoarthritis potentially by regulating the nuclear factor kappa B(NF-κB)and mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)pathways.For in vivo experiments,cyasterone significantly alleviated the inflammatory response and cartilage destruction of rats induced by monosodium iodoacetate,where dexamethasone was used as the positive control.Overall,this study laid a theoretical foundation for developing cyasterone as an effective agent for the alleviation of osteoarthritis.TENG Li SHEN Yue QU Yuhan YANG Longfei YANG Yuting JIAN Xi FAN Shengli ZHANG Lele FU Qiang 2023Chinese Journal of Natural Medicines2023,21,2:0
8Characterization and modeling studies towards Al_(3)Ti/Mg interfaces in Ti reinforced AZ31 alloys显示文摘The interfaces between in-situ Al3Ti particles and magnesium(Mg)matrix are crucial role in highperformance titanium(Ti)reinforced AZ31 alloy.Herein,the interfaces between Al3Ti particles and the Mg matrix are fabricated and investigated using advanced characterization tools and first-principles calculations.The orientation relationship(OR)and atomic interface structure between the Al_(3)Ti particles and matrix are characterized using a high-resolution transmission electron microscope.The OR is determined to be(1010)Mg//(001)Al3Ti;[1213]Mg//[100]Al3Ti.Based on the characterized OR,the interface properties(including atomic structure,work of adhesion,interface energy,and fracture mechanism)are investigated using first-principles calculations.The relaxed interface structure indicates that the TiAl-terminated bridge site configurations(MT1)and hollow site configurations(HCP1)are unstable and would convert into other bridge site configurations(MT).Furthermore,the work of adhesion and interface energy suggests that Al-terminated hollow site configurations(HCP)and bridge site configurations(MT)are more stable than other configurations.In addition,the calculations of work of fracture show that fracture of the interfaces with Al-MT1,Al-HCP,and TiAl-MT configurations may initiate from bulk Mg interior.The findings may help to understand and tailor the deformation mechanisms and mechanical properties of Ti-reinforced Mg alloys.Longke Bao Shengli Han Shengkun Xi Yuhui Zhang Cuiping Wang Kaihong Zheng Rongpei Shi Xingjun Liu Fusheng Pan 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,16:0

10New understandings on gas accumulation and major exploration breakthroughs in subsalt Ma 4 Member of Ordovician Majiagou Formation,Ordos Basin,NW China显示文摘Geological conditions and main controlling factors of gas accumulation in subsalt Ma 4 Member of Ordovician Majiagou Formation are examined based on large amounts of drilling,logging and seismic data.The new understandings on the control of paleo-uplift over facies,reservoirs and accumulations are reached:(1)During the sedimentary period of Majiagou Formation,the central paleo-uplift divided the North China Sea in central-eastern of the basin from the Qinqi Sea at southwest margin of the basin,and controlled the deposition of the thick hummocky grain beach facies dolomite on platform margin of Ma 4 Member.Under the influence of the evolution of the central paleo-uplift,the frame of two uplifts alternate with two sags was formed in the central-eastern part of the basin,dolomite of inner-platform beach facies developed in the underwater low-uplift zones,and marl developed in the low-lying areas between uplifts.(2)From the central paleo-uplift to the east margin of the basin,the dolomite in the Ma 4 Member gradually becomes thinner and turns into limestone.The lateral sealing of the limestone sedimentary facies transition zone gives rise to a large dolomite lithological trap.(3)During the late Caledonian,the basin was uplifted as a whole,and the central paleo-uplift was exposed and denuded to various degrees;high-quality Upper Paleozoic Carboniferous-Permian coal measures source rocks deposited on the paleo-uplift in an area of 60000 km^(2),providing large-scale hydrocarbon for the dolomite lithological traps in the underlying Ma 4 Member.(4)During the Indosinian-Yanshanian stage,the basin tilted westwards,and central paleo-uplift depressed into an efficient hydrocarbon supply window.The gas from the Upper Paleozoic source rock migrated through the high porosity and permeability dolomite in the central paleo-uplift to and accumulated in the updip high part;meanwhile,the subsalt marine source rock supplied gas through the Caledonian faults and micro-fractures as a significant supplementary.Under the guidance of the above new understandings,two favorable exploration areas in the Ma 4 Member in the central-eastern basin were sorted out.Two risk exploration wells were deployed,both revealed thick gas-bearing layer in Ma 4 Member,and one of them tapped high production gas flow.The study has brought a historic breakthrough in the gas exploration of subsalt Ma 4 Member of Ordovician,and opened up a new frontier of gas exploration in the Ordos Basin.HE Haiqing GUO Xujie ZHAO Zhenyu XI Shengli WANG Jufeng SONG Wei REN Junfeng WU Xingning BI He 2022Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,3:0
11Mixed-valence copper coordination polymers based on CuSCN or CuN_(3) as bridging motifs显示文摘Two novel mixed valence copper coordination polymers, [Cu(2-pac)2(CuN3)(H2O)]n (1) and [Cu(2-pac)2(CuSCN)2]n (2), have been prepared through hydrothermal synthesis and analyzed for structure determination, which exhibit two- and three-dimensional structures respectively. In complex (1), zigzag chains of [CuN3]n running parallel to the c direction are interconnected by Cu(2pac)2 to form a two-dimensional layer structure. 12Thermal decomposition of Pr[(C_(5)H_(8)NS_(2))_(3)(C_(12)H_(8)N_(2))]显示文摘The thermal behavior of the complex Pr[(C5H8NS2)3(C12H8N2)] in a dry nitrogen flow was examined by TG-DTG analysis. The TG-DTG investigations indicated that Pr[(C5H8NS2)3-(C12H8N2)] was decomposed into Pr2S3 and deposited carbon in one step where Pr2S3 predominated in the final products. The results of non-isothermal kinetic calculations showed that the decomposition stage was the random nucleation and subsequent growth mechanism (n =nential constant In[A/s] was 7.8697. The empirical kinetics model equation was proposed as f(α) =3/2(1-α)[-ln(1-α)]1/3. The X-ray powder diffraction patterns of the thermal decomposition products at 800℃ under N2 atmosphere show that the product can be indexed to the cubic Pr2S3 phase. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of the final product reveals the particle appearance of a diameter within 40 nm.
