| 1 | Isolation,characterization,and phylogenic analysis of three new severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus strains derived from Hubei Province,China显示文摘Hubei Province is a major epidemic area of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome bunyavirus(SFTSV) in China. However, to date, a few SFTSV strains have been isolated from Hubei Province, preventing effective studies of epidemic outbreaks. Here, we report three confirmed patients(2015–2016) with typical symptoms of severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome disease(SFTS) who were farmers resident in different regions in Hubei Province. Three new SFTSV strains were isolated from the serum samples of each patient. Characterization of viral growth properties showed that there were no significant differences in virus production. All strains were completely sequenced, and phylogenetic analysis showed that unlike the other strains from Hubei province, which belonged to the SFTSV C3 genotype, one of the three strains belonged to the SFTSV C2 genotype. | 2 | X-ray-charged bright persistent luminescence in NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+)@NaYF_(4) nanoparticles for multidimensional optical information storage显示文摘NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+),due to its outstanding upconversion characteristics,has become one of the most important luminescent nanomaterials in biological imaging,optical information storage,and anticounterfeiting applications.However,the large specific surface area of NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+)nanoparticles generally leads to serious nonradiative transitions,which may greatly hinder the discovery of new optical functionality with promising applications.In this paper,we report that monodispersed nanoscale NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+),unexpectedly,can also be an excellent persistent luminescent(PersL)material.The NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+)nanoparticles with surface-passivated core–shell structures exhibit intense X-ray-charged PersL and narrow-band emissions tunable from 480 to 1060 nm.A mechanism for PersL in NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+)is proposed by means of thermoluminescence measurements and host-referred binding energy(HRBE)scheme,which suggests that some lanthanide ions(such as Tb)may also act as effective electron traps to achieve intense PersL.The uniform and spherical NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+)nanoparticles are dispersible in solvents,thus enabling many applications that are not accessible for traditional PersL phosphors.A new 3-dimensional(2 dimensions of planar space and 1 dimension of wavelength)optical information-storage application is demonstrated by inkjet-printing multicolor PersL nanoparticles.The multicolor persistent luminescence,as an emerging and promising emissive mode in NaYF_(4):Ln^(3+),will provide great opportunities for nanomaterials to be applied to a wider range of fields. | Yixi Zhuang Dunrong Chen Wenjing Chen Wenxing Zhang Xin Su Renren Deng Zhongfu An Hongmin Chen Rong-Jun Xie | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,7: | 12 |
| 3 | Satellite UV-Vis spectroscopy:implications for air quality trends and their driving forces in China during 2005-2017显示文摘Abundances of a range of air pollutants can be inferred from satellite UV-Vis spectroscopy measurements by using the unique absorption signatures of gas species.Here,we implemented several spectral fitting methods to retrieve tropospheric NO_(2),SO_(2),and HCHO from the ozone monitoring instrument(OMI),with radiative simulations providing necessary information on the interactions of scattered solar light within the atmosphere.We analyzed the spatial distribution and temporal trends of satellite-observed air pollutants over eastern China during 2005-2017,especially in heavily polluted regions.We found significant decreasing trends in NO_(2) and SO_(2) since 2011 over most regions,despite varying temporal features and turning points.In contrast,an overall increasing trend was identified for tropospheric HCHO over these regions in recent years.Furthermore,generalized additive models were implemented to understand the driving forces of air quality trends in China and assess the effectiveness of emission controls.Our results indicated that although meteorological parameters,such as wind,water vapor,solar radiation and temperature,mainly dominated the day-to-day and seasonal fluctuations in air pollutants,anthropogenic emissions played a unique role in the long-term variation in the ambient concentrations of NO_(2),SO_(2),and HCHO in the past 13 years.Generally,recent declines in NO_(2) and SO_(2) could be attributed to emission reductions due to effective air quality policies,and the opposite trends in HCHO may urge the need to control anthropogenic volatile organic compound(VOC)emissions. | Chengxin Zhang Cheng Liu Qihou Hu Zhaonan Cai Wenjing Su Congzi Xia Yizhi Zhu Siwen Wang Jianguo Liu | 2019 | Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1: | 11 |

| 5 | Exosomes with low miR-34c-3p expression promote invasion and migration of non-small cell lung cancer by upregulating integrinα2β1显示文摘Exosomes play critical roles in regulating various physiological and pathological processes,including immune stimulation,immune suppression,cardiovascular diseases,and cancers.Recent studies show that exosomes that transport specific microRNAs(miRNAs)are involved in tumor development.However,the molecular mechanism by which tumor invasion and migration are regulated by exosomes from non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)is not well understood.Here,we show that exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p are involved in NSCLC progression.Our results showed that exosomes derived from NSCLC cells carrying low levels of miR-34c-3p could be transported into the cytoplasm of NSCLC cells and accelerate NSCLC invasion and migration by upregulating integrinα2β1.A luciferase assay revealed that integrinα2β1 was the direct target of miR-34c-3p,and overexpression of integrinα2β1 could promote the invasion and migration of NSCLC cells.The analysis of exosomes derived from clinical serum samples indicated that the expression of miR-34c-3p was significantly downregulated in exosomes from NSCLC patients compared with that of normal controls.A549-derived exosomes promoted NSCLC cells lung metastases in vivo.Exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p were associated with the progression of NSCLC in vitro and in vivo.Our data demonstrate that exosomes shuttling low levels of miR-34c-3p can accelerate the invasion and migration of NSCLC by upregulating integrinα2β1.MiR-34c-3p can be a diagnostic and prognostic marker for NSCLC.High expression of integrinα2β1 is positively related to the migration and metastasis of NSCLC cells. | Wenjing Huang Yanyan Yan Yun Liu Minting Lin Jinxiang Ma Wei Zhang Jianwei Dai Jiajun Li Qiaoru Guo Hubiao Chen Bolat Makabel Hong Liu Chaoyue Su Hong Bi Jianye Zhang | 2020 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1: | 5 |

| 9 | Clinical features and predictors of remission in children under the age of 7 years with Graves’disease显示文摘Importance:Graves’disease(GD)is rare in children under the age of 7 years.Children with this disease exhibit greater thyrotoxicity at diagnosis and require a longer course of medical therapy,compared with pubertal and postpubertal children and adults.Objective:To investigate the clinical features and identify predictors of remission in children under the age of 7 years with GD.Methods:This retrospective study included 77 children who were diagnosed with GD under the age of 7 years and were treated in the Department of Endocrinology,Beijing Children’s Hospital from 2010 to 2018.Clinical manifestations,laboratory data,and follow-up records were collected for all patients.Children who achieved remission of treatment with methimazole were compared with those who had persistent disease to identify which variables were associated with remission;multiple logistic regression and Cox regression analyses were used to evaluate interactions among predictive variables.Results:Sixty-three boys and 14 girls were included;the median age at diagnosis was 4.2 years(interquartile range:3.2-5.3 years).Forty-six(56.7%)patients had no family history of thyroid disease,17 patients had family history of thyroid disease and 14 patients with unknown family history.Of the 77 patients,18(23.4%)patients achieved remission of treatment with methimazole and 59 patients did not;moreover,51(66.2%)had Graves’ophthalmopathy.Univariate analyses revealed no significant differences between the remission group and non-remission group in terms of age at diagnosis,sex,initial goiter size,or initial thyroid hormone concentration.However,there were a trend of correlation between the initial level of thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPOAb)and remission status(univariate analysis OR 1.002,P=0.038;multivariate analysis OR 1.004,P=0.019).Similar results were observed in univariate analysis of the initial thyrotropin receptor antibody(TRAb)level,but this association was not significant in multivariate analysis.Cox regression analyses revealed that children with high TRAb level required longer duration of remission,compared with low TRAb level(OR 0.950,95%CI 0.904-0.997,P=0.037).Interpretation:Initial TRAb level was an independent predictor of remission outcome in young children under the age of 7 years with GD.Initial TRAb level may predict the likelihood of remission in patients with young-age-of-onset GD. | Yi Gu Xuejun Liang Ming Liu Di Wu Wenjing Li Bingyan Cao Yuchuan Li Chang Su Jiajia Chen Chunxiu Gong | 2020 | Pediatric Investigation2020,4,3: | 3 |

| 14 | Outstanding Humidity Chemiresistors Based on Imine-Linked Covalent Organic Framework Films for Human Respiration Monitoring显示文摘Human metabolite moisture detection is important in health monitoring and non-invasive diagnosis.However,ultra-sensitive quantitative extraction of respiration information in real-time remains a great challenge.Herein,chemiresistors based on imine-linked covalent organic framework(COF)films with dual-active sites are fabricated to address this issue,which demonstrates an amplified humidity-sensing signal performance.By regulation of monomers and functional groups,these COF films can be pre-engineered to achieve high response,wide detection range,fast response,and recovery time.Under the condition of relative humidity ranging from 13 to 98%,the COFTAPB-DHTA film-based humidity sensor exhibits outstanding humidity sensing perfor-mance with an expanded response value of 390 times.Furthermore,the response values of the COF film-based sensor are highly linear to the relative humidity in the range below 60%,reflecting a quantitative sensing mechanism at the molecular level.Based on the dual-site adsorption of the(-C=N-)and(C-N)stretching vibrations,the revers-ible tautomerism induced by hydrogen bonding with water molecules is demonstrated to be the main intrinsic mechanism for this effective humidity detection.In addition,the synthesized COF films can be further exploited to effectively detect human nasal and oral breathing as well as fabric permeability,which will inspire novel designs for effective humidity-detection devices. | Xiyu Chen Lingwei Kong Jaafar Abdul-Aziz Mehrez Chao Fan Wenjing Quan Yongwei Zhang Min Zeng Jianhua Yang Nantao Hu Yanjie Su Hao Wei Zhi Yang | 2023 | Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,9: | 2 |
