1Nutritional Status of Children during and post-Global Economic Crisis in China显示文摘Objective To describe the impact of the global economic crisis on the nutritional status of children in China during and after the crisis.Methods Data from 1990 to 2010 were sourced from the National Food and Nutrition Surveillance System.Approximately 16 000 children under 5 years old were selected using a stratified random cluster method from 40 surveillance sites.Anthropometric and hemoglobin measurements for children under 5 were conducted.Nutritional status was determined according to WHO child growth standards.Results Prevalence of underweight and stunting in children under 5 had a downward trend.Underweight prevalence was close to normal (less than 5%),with prevalence of stunting 12.6% in 2009 and 12.1% in 2010 in rural areas.Prevalence of stunting in infants under 6 months and 6‐12 months old in poorer rural areas increased from 5.7%‐9.1% and 6.7%‐12.5%,respectively,in 2008‐2009.This trend also continued post‐crisis in 2010.Prevalence of stunting in children left behind by mothers was 20%‐30% higher than in children the same age in general and poorer rural areas.Prevalence of anemia in children did not change in rural areas,but prevalence of anemia in all age groups increased in poorer rural areas,especially in children under 24 months old.Level reached 30%‐40% in 2009,and fluctuated in 2010.Conclusion The nutritional status of children under 5 was comparatively stable during and after the global economic crisis,attributable to the Chinese government's policy response.The nutritional status in poorer rural areas fluctuated in response to the economic crisis and,thus,relevant action and intervention must be taken immediately to help the most vulnerable population in poorer rural areas.A proper national nutritional strategy for children under 2 years old,including nutrition supplementation for pregnant women and in‐home fortification for complementary feeding,should be initiated.CHEN ChunMing HE Wu WANG YuYing DENG LiNa JIA FengMei 2011Biomedical and Environmental Sciences2011,24,4:22
2Photochemical pollution in Lanzhou, China - A case study显示文摘The photochemical air pollution in Xigu district of Lanshou city, Gansu Province was studied during a period of 1981-1984. The extremely high NMHC/NOx ratio and ozone level elevation after rain have been noticed. A series of outdoor and indoor reaction chamber simulation experiments conducted in order to understand the specific conditions. 4Advances in fabrication of ceramic corundum abrasives based on sol–gel process显示文摘Corundum abrasives with good chemical stability can be fabricated into various free abrasives and bonded abrasive tools that are widely used in the precision machining of various parts.However,these abrasives cannot satisfy the machining requirements of difficult-to-machine materials with high hardness,high strength,and strong wearing resistance.Although superhard abrasives can machine the above-mentioned materials,their dressing and manufacturing costs are high.By contrast,ceramic corundum abrasives fabricated by sol–gel method is a costeffective product between conventional and superhard abrasives.Ceramic corundum abrasives exhibit self-sharpening and high toughness.In this review,the optimization methods of ceramic corundum abrasive properties are introduced from three aspects:precursor synthesis,particle shaping,and sintering.Firstly,the functional mechanism of seeds and additives on the microstructural and mechanical properties of abrasives is analyzed.Specifically,seeds can reduce the phase transition temperature and improve fracture toughness.The grain size and uniformly dense structure can be controlled by applying an appropriate amount of multicomponent additives.Then,the urgent need of engineering application and machinability of special shape ceramic corundum abrasives is reviewed,and three methods of abrasive shaping are summarized.The micromold replication technique is highly advanced and can be used to prepare functional abrasives.Additionally,the influence of a new sintering method,namely,two-step sintering technique,on the microstructural and mechanical performance of ceramic corundum abrasives is summarized.Finally,the challenge and developmental trend of the optimization of ceramic corundum abrasives are prospected.Baoteng HUANG Changhe LI Yanbin ZHANG Wenfeng DING Min YANG Yuying YANG Han ZHAI Xuefeng XU Dazhong WANG Sujan DEBNATH Muhammad JAMIL Hao Nan Li Hafiz Muhammad ALI Munish Kumar GUPTA Zafar SAID 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,6:11
5Novel robust fault diagnosis method for flight control systems显示文摘A novel robust fault diagnosis scheme, which possesses fault estimate capability as well as fault diagnosis property, is proposed. The scheme is developed based on a suitable combination of the adaptive multiple model (AMM) and unknown input observer (UIO). The main idea of the proposed scheme stems from the fact that the actuator Lock-in-Place fault is unknown (when and where the actuator gets locked are unknown), and multiple models are used to describe different fault scenarios, then a bank of unknown input observers are designed to implement the disturbance de-coupling. According to Lyapunov theory, proof of the robustness of the newly developed scheme in the presence of faults and disturbances is derived. 7^11C-PIBPET和^18F-FDGPET显像诊断阿尔茨海默病与遗忘型轻度认知损害的临床价值显示文摘目的应用11C-PIB PET和18F-FDG PET显像研究阿尔茨海默病和遗忘型轻度认知损害患者β-淀粉样蛋白(Aβ)沉积与葡萄糖代谢之间的关系,联合载脂蛋白E(ApoE)基因型进一步探讨遗忘型轻度认知损害与阿尔茨海默病的相关性。方法利用PET显像对阿尔茨海默病(14例)、遗忘型轻度认知损害(10例)和正常对照者(5例)脑组织Aβ沉积和葡萄糖代谢变化进行分析,采用聚合酶链反应-限制性片段长度多态性方法对ApoE基因型进行分析。结果阿尔茨海默病组患者11C-PIB标准化摄取比值在下顶叶、颞叶外侧、额叶、后扣带回皮质和楔前叶、枕叶和纹状体均高于正常对照组(P<0.05);遗忘型轻度认知损害组患者脑组织11C-PIB结合水平呈双峰形。11C-PIB+aMCI亚组与阿尔茨海默病组、11C-PIB-aMCI亚组与正常对照组之间11C-PIB标准化摄取比值差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。18F-FDG PET显像显示,3/5例11C-PIB+aMCI亚组患者双侧顶叶、颞叶和楔前叶代谢减低,其中2例ApoEε4等位基因携带者随访期间进展至阿尔茨海默病;3/5例11C-PIB-aMCI亚组患者双侧额叶和前扣带回代谢减低。结论11C-PIB PET显像是筛查具有阿尔茨海默病病理特点的遗忘型轻度认知损害患者的有效工具。具有阿尔茨海默病病理特征的遗忘型轻度认知损害患者可伴有顶叶、颞叶外侧皮质和楔前叶代谢减低,其中ApoEε4等位基因携带者更易进展至阿尔茨海默病痴呆。Shi Zhihong Wang Ying Liu Shuai Liu Shuling Z hou Yuying Wang Jinhuan Cai Li Gao Shuo Ji Yong 2014中国现代神经疾病杂志2014,14,3:8
8An equivalent ground thermal test method for single-phase fluid loop space radiator显示文摘Thermal vacuum test is widely used for the ground validation of spacecraft thermal control system. However, the conduction and convection can be simulated in normal ground pressure environment completely. By the employment of pumped fluid loops' thermal control technology on spacecraft, conduction and convection become the main heat transfer behavior between radiator and inside cabin. As long as the heat transfer behavior between radiator and outer space can be equivalently simulated in normal pressure, the thermal vacuum test can be substituted by the normal ground pressure thermal test. In this paper, an equivalent normal pressure thermal test method for the spacecraft single-phase fluid loop radiator is proposed. The heat radiation between radiator and outer space has been equivalently simulated by combination of a group of refrigerators and thermal electrical cooler(TEC) array. By adjusting the heat rejection of each device, the relationship between heat flux and surface temperature of the radiator can be maintained. To verify this method,a validating system has been built up and the experiments have been carried out. The results indicate that the proposed equivalent ground thermal test method can simulate the heat rejection performance of radiator correctly and the temperature error between in-orbit theory value and experiment result of the radiator is less than 0.5 C, except for the equipment startup period. 9N_2O Emission from Paddy Field under Different Rice Planting Modes显示文摘Measurements of N2O emissions from conventional rice cultivation (CRC), CRC with straw mulching, system of rice intensification (SRI) and SRI with plastic film mulching were conducted through static chamber/gas-chromatography techniques. The results show that daily fluctuation of N2O emissions in jointing stage are much higher than in others. A type peak of N2O seasonal emission presented between jointing and bearing stages companying with high daily average temperature and low precipitation. Biomass and leaf stomatal conductance were observed. Total quantities of N2O emission were budgeted. The results showed that after jointing stage the average N2O emission flux of SRI with plastic film mulching increased significantly than CRC with straw mulching and SRI, the leaf stomatal conductance of those showed the same trend (p< 0.05 ). Yield and total quantity of N2O emission in CRC with straw mulching enhanced 13.7% and 10.7% compared with those of CRC, respectively. 12Kinetic spectrophotometric method for the determination of cerium(IV) with naphthol green B显示文摘A simple and sensitive spectrophotometric method was described for the determination of cerium(IV) based on its catalytic effect on the oxidation of naphthol green B by potassium periodate in the medium of sulfuric acid. The influences of acidity, concentration of reactants, reaction time, reaction temperature, and foreign ions were discussed, and the optimum reaction conditions were established. The reaction was monitored spectrophotometrically by measuring the decrease in absorbance of naphthol green B at 710 nm after a fixed time (8 min). The proposed method allowed the determination of cerium(IV) in the range of 0.08-2.4 μg·mL-1 with good precision and accuracy, and the detec-tion limit was 0.012 μg·mL-1. The method was applied successfully for the determination of trace cerium in hair samples without previous separation. 13The transcription factor SlHY5 regulates the ripening of tomato fruit at both the transcriptional and translational levels显示文摘Light plays a critical role in plant growth and development,but the mechanisms through which light regulates fruit ripening and nutritional quality in horticultural crops remain largely unknown.Here,we found that ELONGATED HYPOCOTYL 5(HY5),a master regulator in the light signaling pathway,is required for normal fruit ripening in tomato(Solanum lycopersicum).Loss of function of tomato HY5(SlHY5)impairs pigment accumulation and ethylene biosynthesis.Transcriptome profiling identified 2948 differentially expressed genes,which included 1424 downregulated and 1524 upregulated genes,in the Slhy5 mutants.In addition,genes involved in carotenoid and anthocyanin biosynthesis and ethylene signaling were revealed as direct targets of SlHY5 by chromatin immunoprecipitation.Surprisingly,the expression of a large proportion of genes encoding ribosomal proteins was downregulated in the Slhy5 mutants,and this downregulation pattern was accompanied by a decrease in the abundance of ribosomal proteins.Further analysis demonstrated that SlHY5 affected the translation efficiency of numerous ripening-related genes.These data indicate that SlHY5 regulates fruit ripening both at the transcriptional level by targeting specific molecular pathways and at the translational level by affecting the protein translation machinery.Our findings unravel the regulatory mechanisms of SlHY5 in controlling fruit ripening and nutritional quality and uncover the multifaceted regulation of gene expression by transcription factors.Weihao Wang Peiwen Wang Xiaojing Li Yuying Wang Shiping Tian Guozheng Qin 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:6
14HOPF BIFURCATION OF A NONLINEAR RESTRAINED CURVED PIPE CONVEYING FLUID BY DIFFERENTIAL QUADRATURE METHOD显示文摘This paper proposes a new method for investigating the Hopf bifurcation of a curved pipe conveying fluid with nonlinear spring support. The nonlinear equation of motion is derived by forces equilibrium on microelement of the system under consideration. The spatial coordinate of the system is discretized by the differential quadrature method and then the dynamic equation is solved by the Newton-Raphson method. The numerical solutions show that the inner fluid velocity of the Hopf bifurcation point of the curved pipe varies with different values of the parameter,nonlinear spring stiffness. Based on this, the cycle and divergent motions are both found to exist at specific fluid flow velocities with a given value of the nonlinear spring stiffness. 16Mucus production stimulated by IFN-AhR signaling triggers hypoxia of COVID-19显示文摘Silent hypoxia has emerged as a unique feature of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).In this study,we show that mucins are accumulated in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid(BALF)of COVID-19 patients and are upregulated in the lungs of severe respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)-infected mice and macaques.We find that induction of either interferon(IFN)-P or IFN-y upon SARS-CoV-2 infection results in activation of aryl hydrocarbon receptor(AhR)signaling through an IDO-Kyn-dependent pathway,leading to transcriptional upregulation of the expression of mucins,both the secreted and membrane-bound,in alveolar epithelial cells.Consequently,accumulated alveolar mucus affects the blood-gas barrier,thus inducing hypoxia and diminishing lung capacity,which can be reversed by blocking AhR activity.These findings potentially explain the silent hypoxia formation in COVID-19 patients,and suggest a possible intervention strategy by targeting the AhR pathway.Yuying Liu Jiadi Lv Jiangning Liu Man Li Jing Xie Qi Lv Wei Deng Nannan Zhou Yabo Zhou Jiangping Song Peng Wang Chuan Qin Wei-Min Tong Bo Huang 2020Cell Research2020,30,12:5

18Genomic surveillance of coxsackievirus A10 reveals genetic features and recent appearance of genogroup D in Shanghai,China,2016–2020显示文摘Coxsackievirus A10(CVA10)is one of the major causative agents of hand,foot and mouth disease(HFMD).To investigate the epidemiological characteristics as well as genetic features of CVA10 currently circulating in Shanghai,China,we collected a total of 9,952 sporadic HFMD cases from January 2016 to December 2020.In the past five years,CVA10 was the fourth prevalent causatives associated with HFMD in Shanghai and the overall positive rate was 2.78%.The annual distribution experienced significant fluctuations over the past five years.In addition to entire VP1 sequencing,complete genome sequencing and recombination analysis of CVA10 isolates in Shanghai were further performed.A total of 64 near complete genomes and 11 entire VP1 sequences in this study combined with reference sequences publicly available were integrated into phylogenetic analysis.The CVA10sequences in this study mainly belonged to genogroup C and presented 91%-100%nucleotide identity with other Chinese isolates based on VP1 region.For the first time,our study reported the appearance of CVA10 genogroup D in Chinese mainland,which had led to large-scale outbreaks in Europe previously.The recombination analysis showed the recombination break point located between 5,100 nt and 6,700 nt,which suggesting intertypic recombination with CVA16 genogroup D.To conclusion,CVA10 genogroup C was the predominant genogroup in Shanghai during 2016-2020.CVA10 recombinant genogroup D was firstly reported in circulating in Chinese mainland.Continuous surveillance is needed to better understand the evolution relationships and transmission pathways of CVA10 to help to guide disease control and prevention.Jiayu Wang Jiajing Liu Fanghao Fang Jiajin Wu Tianjiao Ji Yuying Yang Ling Liu Chongshan Li Wanju Zhang Xi Zhang Zheng Teng 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,2:5

20Distributed Vibration Sensor With Laser Phase-Noise Immunity by Phase-Extraction φ-OTDR显示文摘We have demonstrated a distributed vibration sensor based on phase-sensitive optical time-domain reflectometer (φ-OTDR) system exhibiting immunity to the laser phase noise. Two laser sources with different linewidth and phase noise levels are used in the φ-OTDR system, respectively. Based on the phase noise power spectrum density of both lasers, the laser phase is almost unchanged during an extremely short period of time, hence, the impact of phase noise can be suppressed effectively through phase difference between the Rayleigh scattered light from two adjacent sections of the fiber which define the gauge length. Based on the phase difference method, the external vibration can be located accurately at 41.01 km by the(φ-OTDR system incorporating these two lasers. Meanwhile, the average signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of the retrieved vibration signal by using Laser I is found to be -37.7 dB, which is comparable to that of -37.5 dB by using Laser II although the linewidth and the phase noise level of the two lasers are distinct.
