| 3 | Urban Expansion and Its Influencing Factors in Natural Wetland Distribution Area in Fuzhou City,China显示文摘This paper principally focuses on land use dynamics,urban expansion and underlying driving forces in the Natural Wetland Distribution Area(NWDA)of Fuzhou City in the southeastern China.Based on time series Landsat TM/ETM+imageries and historical data,relationships between urban land expansion and its influencing factors from 1989 to 2009 were analyzed by using an integrated approach of remote sensing(RS)and geographic information system(GIS)techniques.The results showed that built-up land increased from 151.16 km2in 1989 to 383.76 km 2in 2009. Approximately 64.25%of the newly emerging built-up land was converted from cropland(29.47%),forest and shrub (25.78%),water(3.73%),wetland(4.61%),and bare land(0.66%)during 1989 and 2009.With a remarkable decrease in cropland,the proportion of non-agricultural population increased by 23.6%.Moreover,rapid development of infrastructures,facilities,industrial parks,and urban and rural settlements along the Minjiang River resulted in the eastward and southward expansion of built-up land.Additionally,the growth pattern of built-up land in the NWDA is highly correlated with socio-economic factors,including the gross domestic product(GDP),GDP per capita,and structure of industry.As a result,the observed environmental degradation such as loss of cropland and wetland due to heavy pressure of rapid urbanization have greatly impaired the carrying capacity of city.Thus,in addition to scientific and rational policies towards minimizing the adverse effects of urbanization,coordination between the administrative agencies should be urgently strengthened to balance the conflicts between urban development and ecological conservation to make sure the sustainable land use. | CAI Yuanbin ZHANG Hao PAN Wenbin CHEN Yanhong WANG Xiangrong | 2012 | Chinese Geographical Science2012,22,5: | 8 |

| 5 | A Hybrid FCW-EMD and KF-BA-SVM Based Model for Short-term Load Forecasting显示文摘This paper proposes a hybrid short-term load forecasting method,which is based on the fuzzy combination weights as well as the empirical mode decomposition process(FCW-EMD),and support vector machine optimized via the Bat algorithm as well as the Kalman filtering process(KF-BA-SVM).The subjective weight is presented as a new theory and is applied to capture the inherent correlation effectively among hourly loads.Based on the proposed objective weights and subjective weights,the fuzzy combination weights theory(FCW)-a new similar day selection theory is presented,which improves the accuracy of the similar day selection,and correspondingly,makes the original data for EMD processing decrease dramatically.BA is introduced to optimize parameters of the SVM model for further improving the forecasting accuracy.Using the decomposed load series via empirical model decomposition(EMD)as inputs to SVM and further correcting the output of SVM via KF,a hybrid FCW-EMD and KF-BA-SVM short-term load forecasting method is established.Numerical case studies on the load forecasting of a transformer substation in south China show that the proposed hybrid forecasting model outperforms other forecasting methods and effectively improves the prediction accuracy. | Qingzhen Liu Yuanbin Shen Lei Wu Jie Li Lirong Zhuang Shaofang Wang | 2018 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2018,4,2: | 6 |
| 6 | Self-crosslinkable chitosan-hyaluronic acid dialdehyde nanoparticles for CD44-targeted siRNA delivery to treat bladder cancer显示文摘Bladder cancer is one of the concerning malignancies worldwide,which is lacking effective targeted therapy.Gene therapy is a potential approach for bladder cancer treatment.While,a safe and effective targeted gene delivery system is urgently needed for prompting the bladder cancer treatment in vivo.In this study,we confirmed that the bladder cancer had CD44 overexpression and small interfering RNAs(siRNA)with high interfere to Bcl2 oncogene were designed and screened.Then hyaluronic acid dialdehyde(HAD)was prepared in an ethanol-water mixture and covalently conjugated to the chitosan nanoparticles(CS-HAD NPs)to achieve CD44 targeted siRNA delivery.The in vitro and in vivo evaluations indicated that the siRNA-loaded CS-HAD NPs(siRNA@CS-HAD NPs)were approximately 100 nm in size,with improved stability,high siRNA encapsulation efficiency and low cytotoxicity.CS-HAD NPs could target to CD44 receptor and deliver the therapeutic siRNA into T24 bladder cancer cells through a ligand-receptor-mediated targeting mechanism and had a specific accumulation capacity in vivo to interfere the targeted oncogene Bcl2 in bladder cancer.Overall,a CD44 targeted gene delivery system based on natural macromolecules was developed for effective bladder cancer treatment,which could be more conducive to clinical application due to its simple preparation and high biological safety. | Ye Liang Yonghua Wang Liping Wang Zhijuan Liang Dan Li Xiaoyu Xu Yuanbin Chen Xuecheng Yang Hongbo Zhang Haitao Niu | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,2: | 5 |

Because of its rapid growth, the efficiency and robustness of AM-based product development processes should be improved. Artificial intelligence(AI) is a powerful tool that has outperformed humans in numerous complex tasks. AI-enabled intelligent agents can reduce the workforce required to scale up AM production and achieve higher resource utilization efficiency. This study provides an introduction of AI techniques. Then,the current development of AI-enabled AM product development is investigated. Existing intelligent agents are used for problems in product design, process design and production stages. Based on the review, current research gaps and future research directions are identified. To guide future development of more efficient and comprehensive intelligent agents, a smart AM framework based on cloud-edge computing is proposed. | 8 | Deep multimodal learning for municipal solid waste sorting显示文摘Automated waste sorting can dramatically increase waste sorting efficiency and reduce its regulation cost. Most of the current methods only use a single modality such as image data or acoustic data for waste classification, which makes it difficult to classify mixed and confusable wastes. In these complex situations, using multiple modalities becomes necessary to achieve a high classification accuracy. Traditionally, the fusion of multiple modalities has been limited by fixed handcrafted features. In this study, the deep-learning approach was applied to the multimodal fusion at the feature level for municipal solid-waste sorting.More specifically, the pre-trained VGG16 and one-dimensional convolutional neural networks(1 D CNNs) were utilized to extract features from visual data and acoustic data, respectively. These deeply learned features were then fused in the fully connected layers for classification. The results of comparative experiments proved that the proposed method was superior to the single-modality methods. | 11 | Catalyst-free and solvent-free oxidation of cycloalkanes(C5-C8) with molecular oxygen:Determination of autoxidation temperature and product distribution显示文摘Autoxidation of cycloalkanes(C5–C8) with molecular oxygen under catalyst-free and solvent-free conditions was conducted systematically for the first time, focusing on the autoxidation temperature and product distribution. The autoxidation of cyclopentane, cyclohexane, cycloheptane and cyclooctane occurs at 120 ℃,130 ℃, 120 ℃, and 105 ℃ respectively, with obvious oxidized products formation. At 140 ℃, 145 ℃, 130 ℃ and 125 ℃, acceptable yields of the oxidized products could be obtained for them, and the oxidized product distributions were investigated in detail. The autoxidation of cycloalkanes follows the pseudo-first-order kinetic model and the apparent activation energies(E_a) for the autoxidation of cyclopentane and cyclohexane are 159.76 kJ·mol^(-1) and 86.75 kJ·mol^(-1) respectively.
