| 5 | Identification of a Newly Isolated Getah Virus in the China-Laos Border,China显示文摘In this study, we isolated a virus strain(YN12031) from specimens of Armigeres subalbatus collected in the China-Laos border. BHK-21 cells infected with YN12031 exhibited an evident cytopathic effect(CPE) 32 h post-infection. The virus particles were spherical, 70 nm in diameter, and enveloped; they also featured surface fibers. Molecular genetic analysis revealed that YN12031 was closely related to alpha viruses such as Chikungunya virus and Sindbis virus, and located in the same clade as MM2021, the prototype of Getahvirus(GETV) isolated in Malaysia in 1955. Phylogenetic analysis of the E2 and capsid genes further revealed that YN12031 was located in the same clade as the Russian isolate LEIV/16275/Mag. Analysis of the homology of nucleotides and amino acids in the coding area and E2 gene demonstrated that the YN12031 isolated from the China-Laos border(tropical region) was related closest to the LEIV/16275/Mag isolate obtained in Russia(North frigid zone area) among other isolates studied. These results suggest that GETV can adapt to different geographical environments to propagate and evolve. | 7 | The Status and Associated Factors of Successful Aging among Older Adults Residing in Longevity Areas in China显示文摘Objective This study aims to assess the status of successful aging(SA) in longevity areas in China and explore multiple factors associated with SA among the young-old and oldest-old. Methods A total of 2296 elderly people aged 65 and older were interviewed in the longevity areas sub-sample of the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey(CLHLS) in 2012. Baseline assessments included a researcher-administered questionnaire, physical examination, and laboratory testing. A logistic regression model was used to identify factors associated with SA. Results The prevalence of SA was 38.81% in the CLHLS in 2012. There were significant differences between ages groups, with SA compromising 56.85% among ≥65 years group and 20.31% among ≥100 years group(χtrend2=126.73, P<0.01). The prevalence of SA among females was 33.59%, which was significantly lower than that among males(45.58%)(χ2gender=33.65, P<0.05). In the regression analysis, having anemia(OR=0.744, 95% CI: 0.609-0.910), poor lifestyle(OR=0.697, 95% CI: 0.568-0.854), poor sleep quality(OR=0.558, 95% CI: 0.456-0.682), and central obesity(OR=0.684, 95% CI: 0.556-0.841) were the main factors associated with SA. The promoting SA rate decreased as age increased, and the group of 65-79 years had higher odds than the other age group. | 11 | FY-4A LMI Observed Lightning Activity in Super Typhoon Mangkhut(2018)in Comparison with WWLLN Data显示文摘Using lightning observations from the Fengyun-4A Lightning Mapping Imager(FY-4A LMI),best-track data from the Shanghai Typhoon Institute,bright temperature(TBB)data from Himawari-8 satellite,and composite reflectivity(CR)data from the South China radar network,we investigate the spatiotemporal distribution of lightning activity and convective evolution during the landfall of Super Typhoon Mangkhut,the strongest landing typhoon in China in2018.Three stages of active total lightning are observed,and differences of lightning characteristics between the inner core and the outer rainbands are present.The onset of inner-core lightning outbreak is about 4 h ahead of the maximum intensity of the storm,providing indicative information on the change of typhoon intensity.Lightning rates in the outer rainbands increase rapidly 12 h before the landfall,and lightning activity is mainly confined in the outer rainbands after the landfall.A good correlation in hourly variation is shown between lightning rates from the LMI and TBBs from the satellite.The averaged TBB within the inner core reaches its minimum(–80℃)when the innercore lightning outbreak occurs,indicating the occurrence and enhancement of deep convection there.Lightning locations observed by the LMI has a good spatial correspondence with regions of low TBBs and high CRs,revealing the monitoring capability of the LMI to lightning activity and deep convection in landing typhoons.Comparisons between the World Wide Lightning Location Network(WWLLN)and the LMI reveal that the spatial distribution,temporal evolution,and radial pattern of lightning activity in Mangkhut observed by the two systems are consistent.Furthermore,due to the detection capability of total lightning,the LMI has advantages in revealing the higher ratio of intra-cloud lightning within the inner core in typhoon.The continuous and real-time observation ofFY-4ALMI provides an unprecedented platform for monitoring total lightning and deep convection in landing typhoons in China,which will promote the generation of new research and applications in the future. | Wenjuan ZHANG Wen HUI Weitao LYU Dongjie CAO Pengfei LI Dong ZHENG Xiang FANG Yijun ZHANG | 2020 | Journal of Meteorological Research2020,34,2: | 7 |
| 12 | Urodynamic assessment of bladder storage function after radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer显示文摘Background:After radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer,the most common complication is lower urinary tract symptoms.Post-operatively,bladder capacity can alter bladder function for a prolonged period.This study aimed to identify factors affecting bladder storage function.Methods:A multicenter,retrospective cohort study was conducted.Information of patients with stages IA2 to IIB cervical cancer with urodynamic study results were retrospectively collected from nine hospitals between June 2013 and June 2018 according to the inclusion criteria.Demographic,surgical,and oncological data were collected.The univariate and multivariate logistic regression was used to identify clinical factors associated with bladder storage function.Results:Two hundred and three patients with cervical cancer had urodynamic testing post-operatively.Ninety-five(46.8%)patients were diagnosed with stress urinary incontinence(SUI).The incidence of low bladder compliance(LBC)was 23.2%.Twenty-seven(13.3%)patients showed detrusor overactivity(DO).Fifty-seven patients(28.1%)presented with a decreased maximum cystometric capacity(DMCC).The probability of composite bladder storage dysfunction was 68.0%.Multivariate analysis confirmed that laparoscopy represents a protective factor for SUI with an odds ratio of 0.498(P=0.034).Patients who underwent a nerve-sparing procedure were less odds to experience SUI(P=0.014).A significant positive correlation between LBC and DO was observed(P<0.001).A greater length of the resected vagina and chemoradiotherapy were common risk factors for LBC and DO,while radiotherapy exerted a stronger effect than chemotherapy.Additionally,patients who received chemoradiotherapy frequently developed a DMCC.The follow-up time was not correlated with bladder storage function.Conclusion:A nerve-sparing procedure without longer resected vagina is recommended for protecting the bladder storage function. | Ting-Ting Cao Hong-Wu Wen Yu-Nong Gao Qiu-Bo Lyu Hui-Xin Liu Sha Wang Shi-Yan Wang Hua-Xin Sun Na Yu Hai-Bo Wang Yi Li Zhi-Qi Wang Olivia H.Chang Xiu-Li Sun Jian-Liu Wang | 2020 | Chinese Medical Journal2020,,19: | 7 |

| 14 | Analysis of potential factors contributing to refusal of invasive strategy after ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction in China显示文摘Background:Reduced application of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)is associated with higher mortality rates after STsegment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).We aimed to evaluate potential factors contributing to the refusal of PCI in STEMI patients in China.Methods:We studied 957 patients diagnosed with STEMI in the emergency departments(EDs)of six public hospitals in China.The differences in baseline characteristics and 30-day outcome were investigated between patients who refused PCI and those who underwent PCI.Multivariable logistic regression was used to evaluate the potential factors associated with refusing PCI.Results:The potential factors contributing to refusing PCI were older than 65 years(odds ratio[OR]2.66,95%confidence interval[Cl]1.56-4.52,P<0.001),low body mass index(BMI)(OR 0.91,95%Cl 0.84-0.98,P=0.013),not being married(OR 0.29,95%Cl 0.17-0.49,P<0.001),history of myocardial infarction(MI)(OR 2.59,95%Cl 1.33-5.04,P=0.005),higher heart rate(HR)(OR 1.02,95%Cl 1.01-1.03,P=0.002),cardiac shock in the ED(OR 5.03,95%Cl 1.48-17.08,P=0.010),pre-hospital delay(>12 h)(OR 3.31,95%Cl 1.83-6.02,P<0.001)and not being hospitalized in a tertiary hospital(OR 0.45,95%Cl 0.27-0.75,P=0.002).Compared to men,women were older,were less often married,had a lower BMI and were less often hospitalized in tertiary hospitals.Conclusions:Patients who were older,had lower economic or social status,and had poorer health status were more likely to refuse PCI after STEMI.There was a sex difference in the potential predictors of refusing PCI.Targeted efforts should be made to improve the acceptance of PCI among patients with STEMI in China. | He Zhang Wen Zheng Shuo Wu Jing-Jing Ma Guang-Mei Wang Yong Li Jia-Qi Zheng Yuan Lyu Meng-Yang Xue Feng Xu Jia-Li Wang Yu-Guo Ghen | 2021 | Chinese Medical Journal2021,,5: | 6 |
| 15 | Progress of circulating fluidized bed combustion technology in China:a review显示文摘Circulating fluidized bed(CFB)technology plays an important role in the utilization of low-grade coal in China.This article reviews CFB combustion technology development in China and summarizes recent achievements.Since 1990 Chinese engineers and researchers have been undertaking work to improve CFB boiler technology.A completely novel CFB boiler design theory was developed and used in the domestic manufacturing of CFB boilers with various capacities.China is the largest supplier and customer of CFB boilers in the world due to the widespread use of CFB boilers.In 2007,the lower energy consumption CFB technology was successfully developed by re-specifying the fluidization state,which reduced the power consumption of forced fans and solved the potential erosion problems on the water wall.Afterwards,in order to increase the electric power generation efficiency,the supercritical CFB(SCCFB)boiler was developed and the first 600 MW SCCFB boiler was demonstrated and put into commercial operation in 2013.The success of the technology is evident with over 80 SCCFB boilers on order with capacities of 350 MW to 660 MW.Chinese scientists and engineers are also developing technology to lower the emissions of CFB combustion to meet the requirements of China’s strict emission regulations.This emission reduction is through high-efficiency desulfurization by limestone injection into the furnace and low NOx combustion,ultra-low emission of SO2 and NOx in the furnace can be realized by improving the bed quality and increasing the solid circulation rate.There is currently further research and design development being undertaken to develop a 660 MW ultra-supercritical CFB(USCCFB)boiler.The new boiler is expected to be operational before 2020 resulting in higher efficiency and lower energy consumption and emissions. | Runxia Cai Xiwei Ke Junfu Lyu Hairui Yang Man Zhang Guangxi Yue Wen Ling | 2017 | Clean Energy2017,1,1: | 5 |
| 16 | A novel approach for designing efficient broadband photodetectors expanding from deep ultraviolet to near infrared显示文摘Broadband photodetection(PD)covering the deep ultraviolet to near-infrared(200–1000 nm)range is significant and desirable for various optoelectronic designs.Herein,we employ ultraviolet(UV)luminescent concentrators(LC),iodinebased perovskite quantum dots(PQDs),and organic bulk heterojunction(BHJ)as the UV,visible,and near-infrared(NIR)photosensitive layers,respectively,to construct a broadband heterojunction PD.Firstly,experimental and theoretical results reveal that optoelectronic properties and stability of CsPbI3 PQDs are significantly improved through Er3+doping,owing to the reduced defect density,improved charge mobility,increased formation energy,tolerance factor,etc.The narrow bandgap of CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs serves as a visible photosensitive layer of PD.Secondly,considering the matchable energy bandgap,the BHJ(BTP-4Cl:PBDB-TF)is selected as to NIR absorption layer to fabricate the hybrid structure with CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.Thirdly,UV LC converts the UV light(200–400 nm)to visible light(400–700 nm),which is further absorbed by CsPbI3:Er3+PQDs.In contrast with other perovskites PDs and commercial Si PDs,our PD presents a relatively wide response range and high detectivity especially in UV and NIR regions(two orders of magnitude increase that of commercial Si PDs).Furthermore,the PD also demonstrates significantly enhanced air-and UV-stability,and the photocurrent of the device maintains 81.5%of the original one after 5000 cycles.This work highlights a new attempt for designing broadband PDs,which has application potential in optoelectronic devices. | Nan Ding Yanjie Wu Wen Xu Jiekai Lyu Yue Wang Lu Zi Long Shao Rui Sun Nan Wang Sen Liu Donglei Zhou Xue Bai Ji Zhou Hongwei Song | 2022 | Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,5: | 5 |

| 18 | Global research trends in cardiac arrest research:a visual analysis of the literature based on CiteSpace显示文摘BACKGROUND:The high morbidity,high mortality and low survival rate of cardiac arrest(CA)cause a heavy global burden.We aimed to analyze the changes in scientific output related to CA over the past two decades.METHODS:We analyzed the scientific output related to CA from 2000 to 2020 via the Web of Science.The data were analyzed using CiteSpace software.RESULTS:In total,28,312 articles relating to CA were identified in the Web of Science.The volume of scientific research output in the field of global CA research was mainly distributed in the Americas,Europe and Asia,covering a wide range.Of the 28,312 articles,the research content of the highly cited literature mainly focused on CA,mild hypothermia treatment,and prognosis of CA patients.CONCLUSION:Various scientific methods were applied to reveal scientific productivity,collaboration,and research hotspots in the CA research field.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(ECMO),survival and target temperature management are research hotspots.Future research on CA will continue to focus on its treatment and prognosis to improve the survival rate of CA patients. | Shi-jiao Yan Mei Chen Jing Wen Wen-ning Fu Xing-yue Song Huan-jun Chen Ri-xing Wang Mei-ling Chen Xiao-tong Han Chuan-zhu Lyu | 2022 | World Journal of Emergency Medicine2022,13,4: | 5 |
| 19 | Preheating Combustion Characteristics of Ultra-Low Volatile Carbon-Based Fuel显示文摘Pulverized coal combustion technology with preheating solid fuel in a circulating fluidized bed was used for the combustion test of ultra-low volatile carbon-based fuel.This paper first validated the feasibility and advantages of applying the combustion technology to this kind of fuel.The carbon-based fuel could achieve a stable preheating process in this test system.After the preheating,the apparent sensible heat of the fuel was significantly increased.This provided a necessary condition for the stable ignition and efficient combustion of the carbon-based fuel in the post-combustion chamber.The relative proportions of CO,H2,and CH4 in preheated coal gas were very low,and the effect of high-temperature coal gas at the entrance of the post-combustion chamber was greatly impaired,indicating that the combustion process in post-combustion chamber was mainly the combustion of preheated char.At the same time,the strong reducing atmosphere in the circulating fluidized bed also facilitated the reduction of fuel-nitrogen into N2,which resulted in low NOx emissions.On this basis,with the combination of preheating combustion technology and air-staging combustion technology,the NOx emissions had drastically decreased when the burnout air distribution position moved down or varied from a single-layer distribution to a multi-layer distribution system.The lowest original NOx emissions were 90.6 mg/m3(at 6%O2),and the combustion efficiency exceeded 97%,which ultimately achieved efficient and clean combustion of ultra-low volatile carbon-based fuel. | ZHU Shujun LYU Qinggang ZHU Jianguo LI Jiarong MAN Chengbo LIU Wen | 2019 | Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,4: | 4 |
| 20 | Downregulation of SNRPG induces cell cycle arrest and sensitizes human glioblastoma cells to temozolomide by targeting Myc through a p53-dependent signaling pathway显示文摘Objective:Temozolomide(TMZ)is commonly used for glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)chemotherapy.However,drug resistance limits its therapeutic effect in GBM treatment.RNA-binding proteins(RBPs)have vital roles in posttranscriptional events.While disturbance of RBP-RNA network activity is potentially associated with cancer development,the precise mechanisms are not fully known.The SNRPG gene,encoding small nuclear ribonucleoprotein polypeptide G,was recently found to be related to cancer incidence,but its exact function has yet to be elucidated.Methods:SNRPG knockdown was achieved via short hairpin RNAs.Gene expression profiling and Western blot analyses were used to identify potential glioma cell growth signaling pathways affected by SNRPG.Xenograft tumors were examined to determine the carcinogenic effects of SNRPG on glioma tissues.Results:The SNRPG-mediated inhibitory effect on glioma cells might be due to the targeted prevention of Myc and p53.In addition,the effects of SNRPG loss on p53 levels and cell cycle progression were found to be Myc-dependent.Furthermore,SNRPG was increased in TMZ-resistant GBM cells,and downregulation of SNRPG potentially sensitized resistant cells to TMZ,suggesting that SNRPG deficiency decreases the chemoresistance of GBM cells to TMZ via the p53 signaling pathway.Our data confirmed that SNRPG suppression sensitizes GBM cells to TMZ by targeting Myc via the p53 signaling cascade.Conclusions:These results indicated that SNRPG is a probable molecular target of GBM and suggested that suppressing SNRPG in resistant GBM cells might be a substantially beneficial method for overcoming essential drug resistance. | Yulong Lan Jiacheng Lou Jiliang Hu Zhikuan Yu Wen Lyu Bo Zhang | 2020 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,1: | 3 |
