| 1 | A thorough analysis of diabetes research in China from 1995 to 2015: current scenario and future scope显示文摘The prevalence of diabetes has increased dramatically over the past three decades, and currently, China has the largest number of diabetics worldwide; this number continues to grow and puts ongoing strains on the medical resources. In this review, we reviewed the diabetes research conducted in China from 1995 to 2015 with the aim of providing new insights regarding the current status and future perspectives for researchers, diabetes health providers, and respective policy-makers. Remarkable progress has been made in diabetes research in China during the past two decades in terms of both the quantity and publication influence. The progress, however, struggles to adequately manage diabetes in China. Here we addressed opportunities to strengthen researches, including new drug development, high quality studies on health economics, and healthcare quality improvement studies. | 4 | Current understanding and dispute on the function of the Wnt signaling pathway effector TCF7L2 in hepatic gluconeogenesis显示文摘Approximately 10 years ago,the Wnt signaling pathway effector TCF7L2(ZTCF-4)was recognized as a type 2 diabetes(T2D)risk gene through a genome wide association study(GWAS).As the correlation between TCF7L2 polymorphisms and T2D susceptibility has been reproducibly observed by numerous follow-up investigations among different ethnic groups,great efforts have been made to explore the function of TCF7L2 in metabolic organs including the pancreas,liver and adipose tissues.Although these explorations have enriched our general knowledge on the Wnt signaling cascade in metabolic homeostasis,studies conducted to date have also generated controversial suggestions.Here I will provide a brief review on the Wnt signaling pathway as well as the milestone GWAS discovery and the follow-up studies.I will then discuss the two different opinions on the correlation between TCF7L2 variants and T2D risk,a gain-of-function event versus a loss-of-function event.This will be followed by summarizing the relevant investigations on the metabolic function of hepatic TCF7L2 and presenting our view on the discrepancy and perspectives. | Tianru Jin | 2016 | Genes & Diseases2016,3,1: | 1 |

The crude product is obtained in a precipitate form and can easily be purified by recrystallization. | 13 | Changing Features of Sunshine Duration and Effects on Greenhouse Production in Shouguang City显示文摘Based on data of monthly sunshine duration in Shouguang City during 1961-2013,changing features of sunshine duration and effects on greenhouse production in Shouguang City were analyzed by using linear tendency method,M-K mutation test and Molet wavelet analysis. The results show that in Shouguang City,sunshine duration in a year and each season reduced obviously from 1961 to 2013,and sunshine duration in a year and autumn changed suddenly in the 1990s,while sunshine duration in winter and spring changed suddenly in the 1980s. There existed obvious periodic variations of sunshine duration in a year and various seasons from 1961 to 2013. | 20 | Properties of Boron-doped μc-Ge:H Films Deposited by Hot-wire CVD显示文摘Boron-doped hydrogenated microcrystalline Germanium(μc-Ge:H) fi lms were deposited by hot-wire CVD. H2 diluted Ge H4 and B2H6 were used as precursors and the substrate temperature was kept at 300 ℃. The properties of the samples were analyzed by XRD, Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectrometer and Hall Effect measurement with Van der Pauw method. It is found that the fi lms are partially crystallized, with crystalline fractions larger than 45% and grain sizes smaller than 50 nm. The B-doping can enhance the crystallization but reduce the grain sizes, and also enhance the preferential growth of Ge(220). The conductivity of the fi lms increases and tends to be saturated with increasing diborane-to-germane ratio. All the Hall mobilities of the samples are larger than 3.8 cm2·V-1·s-1.
