ABO sequence analysis in an AB type with anti-B patient显示文摘ABO blood group system is the first to be discovered and the most clinically important in transfusion medicine.1The ABO gene encodes a glycosyltransferase which synthesize the oligosaccharide epitopes. The difference between the consensus A gene (A101 allele) usually used as the reference and the consensus B gene (B101 allele) are 7 in-frame single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs),among which only 4 alleles cause amino acid mutations in the enzyme. When A allele was inherited from one parent and B allele was inherited from the other which produced the AB blood group, this is known as trans-AB.Cis-AB is characterized as mutant ABO alleles encoding a glycosyltransferase capable of synthesizing both A and B antigens which is very rare. | Chen Qing Xiao Jianyu Wang Shuya Li Jiahuang Du Leilei Lu Le Huang Chengyin Li Min Li Ping | 2014 | Chinese Medical Journal2014,,5: | 17
Genome-wide analysis of BES1 genes in Gossypium revealed their evolutionary conserved roles in brassinosteroid signaling显示文摘Brassinosteroids(BRs), which are essential phytohormones for plant growth and development, are important for cotton fiber development. Additionally, BES1 transcription factors are critical for BR signal transduction. However, cotton BES1 family genes have not been comprehensively characterized. In this study, we identified 11 BES1 genes in G. arboreum, 11 in G.raimondii, 16 in G. barbadense, and 22 in G. hirsutum. The BES1 sequences were significantly conserved in the Arabidopsis thaliana, rice, and upland cotton genomes. A total of 94 BES1 genes from 10 different plant species were divided into three clades according to the neighbor-joining and minimum-evolution methods. Moreover, the exon/intron patterns and motif distributions were highly conserved among the A. thaliana and cotton BES1 genes. The collinearity among the orthologs from the At and Dt subgenomes was estimated. Segmental duplications in the At and Dt subgenomes were primarily responsible for the expansion of the cotton BES1 gene family. Of the GhBES1 genes, GhBES1.4_At/Dt exhibited BL-induced expression and was predominantly expressed in fibers. Furthermore, Col-0/mGhBES1.4_At plants produced curled leaves with long and bent petioles. These transgenic plants also exhibited decreased hypocotyl sensitivity to brassinazole and constitutive BR induced/repressed gene expression patterns. The constitutive BR responses of the plants overexpressing mGhBES1.4_At were similar to those of the bes1-D mutant. | Zhao Liu Ghulam Qanmber Lili Lu Wenqiang Qin Ji Liu Jie Li Shuya Ma Zhaoen Yang Zuoren Yang | 2018 | Science China(Life Sciences)2018,61,12: | 7

Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of Gossypium RING-H2 finger E3 ligase genes revealed their roles in fiber development, and phytohormone and abiotic stress responses显示文摘Background: RING-H2 finger E3 ligase(RH2FE3) genes encode cysteine-rich proteins that mediate E3 ubiquitin ligase activity and degrade target substrates. The roles of these genes in plant responses to phytohormones and abiotic stresses are well documented in various species, but their roles in cotton fiber development are poorly understood. To date, genome-wide identification and expression analyses of Gossypium hirsutum RH2FE3 genes have not been reported. Methods: We performed computational identification, structural and phylogenetic analyses, chromosomal distribution analysis and estimated K_a/K_s values of G. hirsutum RH2FE3 genes. Orthologous and paralogous gene pairs were identified by all-versus-all BLASTP searches. We predicted cis-regulatory elements and analyzed microarray data sets to generate heatmaps at different development stages. Tissue-specific expression in cotton fiber, and hormonal and abiotic stress responses were determined by quantitative real time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR) analysis. Results: We investigated 140 G. hirsutum, 80 G. arboreum, and 89 G. raimondi putative RH2FE3 genes and their evolutionary mechanisms and compared them with orthologs in Arabidopsis and rice. A domain-based analysis of the G.hirsutum RH2FE3 genes predicted conserved signature motifs and gene structures. Chromosomal localization showed the genes were distributed across al G. hirsutum chromosomes, and 60 duplication events(4 tandem and 56 segmental duplications) and 98 orthologs were detected. cis-elements were detected in the promoter regions of G. hirsutum RH2FE3 genes. Microarray data and qR T-PCR analyses showed that G. hirsutum RH2FE3 genes were strongly correlated with cotton fiber development. Additional y, almost al the identified genes were up-regulated in response to phytohormones(brassinolide, gibberel ic acid(GA), indole-3-acetic acid(IAA), and salicylic acid(SA)) and abiotic stresses(cold, heat, drought, and salt). Conclusions: The genome-wide identification, comprehensive analysis, and characterization of conserved domains and gene structures, as wel as phylogenetic analysis, cis-element prediction, and expression profile analysis of G. hirsutum RH2FE3 genes and their roles in cotton fiber development and responses to plant hormones and abiotic stresses are reported here for the first time. Our findings wil contribute to the genome-wide analysis of putative RH2FE3 genes in other species and lay a foundation for future physiological and functional research on G. hirsutum RH2FE3 genes. | QANMBER Ghulam YU Daoqian LI Jie WANG Lingling MA Shuya LU Lili YANG Zuoren LI Fuguang | 2018 | Journal of Cotton Research2018,1,1: | 5
Genome-wide identification of Gossypium INDETERMINATE DOMAIN genes and their expression profiles in ovule development and abiotic stress responses显示文摘Background:INDETERMINATE DOMAIN(IDD)transcription factors form one of the largest and most conserved gene families in plant kingdom and play important roles in various processes of plant growth and development, such as flower induction in term of flowering control.Till date, systematic and functional analysis of IDD genes remained infancy in cotton. Results:In this study,we identified total of 162 IDD genes from eight different plant species including 65 IDD genes in Gossypium hirsutum.Phylogenetic analysis divided IDDs genes into seven well distinct groups. The gene structures and conserved motifs of GhIDD genes depicted highly conserved exon-intron and protein motif distribution patterns.Gene duplication analysis revealed that among 142 orthologous gene pairs,54 pairs have been derived by segmental duplication events and four pairs by tandem duplication events.Further,Ka/Ks values of most of orthologous/paralogous gene pairs were less than one suggested the purifying selection pressure during evolution.Spatiotemporal expression pattern by qRT-PCR revealed that most of the investigated GhIDD genes showed higher transcript levels in ovule of seven days post anthesis, and upregulated response under the treatments of multiple abiotic stresses. Conclusions:Evolutionary analysis revealed that IDD gene family was highly conserved in plant during the rapid phase of evolution.Whole genome duplication, segmental as well as tandem duplication significantly contributed to the expansion of IDD gene family in upland cotton. Some distinct genes evolved into special subfamily and indicated potential role in the allotetraploidy Gossypium hisutum evolution and development High transcript levels of GhIDD genes in ovules illustrated their potential roles in seed and fiber development Further, upregulated responses of GhIDD genes under the treatments of various abiotic stresses suggested them as important genetic regulators to improve stress resistance in cotton breeding. | ALI Faiza QANMBER Ghulam LI Yonghui MA Shuya LU Lili YANG Zuoren WANG Zhi LI Fuguang | 2019 | Journal of Cotton Research2019,2,1: | 5

Analysis of COVID-19 Guideline Quality and Change of Recommendations:A Systematic Review显示文摘Background.Hundreds of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)clinical practice guidelines(CPGs)and expert consensus statements have been developed and published since the outbreak of the epidemic. However, these CPGs are of widely variable quality. So,this review is aimed at systematically evaluating the methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs,exploring factors that may influence their quality, and analyzing the change of recommendations in CPGs with evidence published.Methods.We searched five electronic databases and five websites from 1 January to 31 December 2020 to retrieve all COVID-19 CPGs.The assessment of the methodological and reporting qualities of CPGs was performed using the AGREE II instrument and RIGHT checklist.Recommendations and evidence used to make recommendations in the CPGs regarding some treatments for COVID-19(remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavir-ritonavir)were also systematically assessed. And the statistical inference was performed to identify factors associated with the quality of CPGs.Results.We included a total of 92 COVID-19 CPGs developed by 19 countries.Overall, the RIGHT checklist reporting rate of COVID-19 CPGs was 33.0%,and the AGREE II domain score was 30.4%.The overall methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs gradually improved during the year 2020.Factors associated with high methodological and reporting qualities included the evidence-based development process, management of conflicts of interest, and use of established rating systems to assess the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations. The recommendations of only seven(7.6%)CPGs were informed by a systematic review of evidence, and these seven CPGs have relatively high methodological and reporting qualities,in which six of them fully meet the Institute of Medicine(IOM)criteria of guidelines.Besides,a rapid advice CPG developed by the World Health Organization(WHO)of the seven CPGs got the highest overall scores in methodological(72.8%)and reporting qualities(83.8%).Many CPGs covered the same clinical questions(it refers to the clinical questions on the effectiveness of treatments of remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavirritonavir in COVID-19 patients)and were published by different countries or organizations.Although randomized controlled trials and systematic reviews on the effectiveness of treatments of remdesivir,glucocorticoids,hydroxychloroquine/chloroquine,interferon,and lopinavir-ritonavir for patients with COVID-19 have been published, the recommendations on those treatments still varied greatly across COVID-19 CPGs published in different countries or regions, which may suggest that the CPGs do not make sufficient use of the latest evidence.Conclusions.Both the methodological and reporting qualities of COVID-19 CPGs increased over time, but there is still room for further improvement. The lack of effective use of available evidence and management of conflicts of interest were the main reasons for the low quality of the CPGs.The use of formal rating systems for the quality of evidence and strength of recommendations may help to improve the quality of CPGs in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.During the pandemic,we suggest developing a living guideline of which recommendations are supported by a systematic review for it can facilitate the timely translation of the latest research findings to clinical practice. We also suggest that CPG developers should register the guidelines in a registration platform at the beginning for it can reduce duplication development of guidelines on the same clinical question, increase the transparency of the development process, and promote cooperation among guideline developers all over the world.Since the International Practice Guideline Registry Platform has been created, developers could register guidelines prospectively and internationally on this platform. | Siya Zhao Shuya Lu Shouyuan Wu Zijun Wang Qiangqiang Guo Qianling Shi Hairong Zhang Juanjuan Zhang Hui Liu Yunlan Liu Xianzhuo Zhang Ling Wang Mengjuan Ren Ping Wang Hui Lan Qi Zhou Yajia Sun Jin Cao Qinyuan Li Janne Estill Joseph LMathew Hyeong Sik Ahn Myeong Soo Lee Xiaohui Wang Chenyan Zhou Yaolong Chen | 2021 | Health Data Science2021,,1: | 1
2-16 Experimental Study of 13N(α,p)16O at the Stellar Energies显示文摘The presolar SiC grains[1]carry the original stellar nucleosynthesis signature.Their isotopic anomalies compared to the sun are the strong constrains in the supernovae(SN)model calculations. The 15N-excess in some SiC-AB grains(12C/13C<10 and 14N/15N<272)is one of the challenges of core-collapse supernovae(CCSNe)models[2].Recently,Pignatari pointed out that the entrainment of H-rich material into the He shell before the SN explosion allows the coproduction of 13C,15N and 26Al,which provides a new production scenario for SiC-AB grains[2].In the He shell nucleosynthesis, the 13C is produced through 12C(p,γ)13N(β+γ)13C reaction. The 14N is synthesized through 13N(n,γ)and 13C(p,γ)reactions. | Lin Weiping Ma Shaobo Hu Jun Bai Zhen Chen Han Chen Zhijun Duan Fangfang Gao Bingshui Gao Zhihao Hou Suqing Ji Liancheng Jia Baolu Jiao Lei Jin ShuYa Liu Xingquan Li Kuoang Lu Tan Ma Junbing Ma Peng Tang Xiaodong Wang Xinyu Xu Shiwei Yang Yanyun Yu Gongming Yu Xiangqing Zhai Yaojie Zhang Ningtao Zhang Xing | 2016 | IMP & HIRFL Annual Report2016,,1: | 0
On the Generation and Evolution of Internal Solitary Waves in the Andaman Sea显示文摘Internal solitary waves(ISWs)are ubiquitous in the Andaman Sea,as revealed by synthetic aperture radar images;however, their generation mechanisms and corresponding influencing factors remain unknown.Based on a nonhydrostatic two-dimensional model, the generation of ISW packets along the transect of a channel lying between Batti Malv Island and Car Nicobar Island is investigated. Moreover, the influences of topographic characteristics, seasonal stratifications, and tidal forcings are analyzed through a series of sensitivity runs. The simulation results indicate that bidirectional rank-ordered ISW packets are generated by the nonlinear steepening of internal tides. An east-west ISW asymmetry is observed, which is attributed to distinct topographic characteristics. The surrounding sills can also generate internal wave beams, which modulate the intensity of ISWs.However, the topographic structure of the west flank of the ridge mainly contributes to the suppression of westward ISWs,which decreases the modulating effect of internal wave beams.During the spring tide, the generation of ISWs is enhanced.During the neap tide,ISWs are weak, and the east-west ISW asymmetry is less obvious. Moreover, seasonal stratification only has a minor effect on the generation and evolution of ISWs. | YU Yujun XU Tao WANG Jinhu WANG Shuya LI Qun MENG Jing CHEN Xu LU Kexiao WANG Guixia | 2023 | Journal of Ocean University of China2023,22,2: | 0
