2Precise nanomedicine for intelligent therapy of cancer显示文摘Precise nanomedicine has been extensively explored for efficient cancer imaging and targeted cancer therapy, as evidenced by a few breakthroughs in their preclinical and clinical explorations. Here, we demonstrate the recent advances of intelligent cancer nanomedicine, and discuss the comprehensive understanding of their structure-function relationship for smart and efficient cancer nanomedicine including various imaging and therapeutic applications, as well as nanotoxicity. In particular, a few emerging strategies that have advanced cancer nanomedicine are also highlighted as the emerging focus such as tumor imprisonment, supramolecular chemotherapy, and DNA nanorobot. The challenge and outlook of some scientific and engineering issues are also discussed in future development. 3Relative effects of phylogeny,biological characters and environments on leaf traits in shrub biomes across central Inner Mongolia,China显示文摘Aims Understanding the drivers for leaf traits is critical to improving our predictions on ecosystems'responses to global changes.Geographic patterns of leaf traits are shaped by phylogenetic,biological and environmental factors simultaneously.However,till now few studies have examined how these factors influenced leaf traits together,and how their effects differed at the within-and among-site levels.Methods We sampled leaf traits from a 1100 km shrub-biome transect across central Inner-Mongolia,including leaf mass per area(LMA),mass-based photosynthetic rate,nitrogen(N)and phosphorus(P)concentrations.We examined the effects of phylogenetic,biological(height and growth rate)and environmental(climate and soil)fac-tors on leaf traits with mixed-model analyses of variance.Variation partitioning method was used to separate the joint and independent effects of these three types of factors.Important Findings(i)Climate and soil fertility(total or available nutrient concentra-tions)together explained 11.4-41.4%of among-site variations,with remarkable difference among traits.(i)Height and height growth rate together explained 0.4--31.9%of trait variations(mostly among-site variations).Our results could only weakly support the ability of leaf traits as predictors for whole-plant growth.(ii)LMA was negatively related to height,which was consistent with the resource-use strategy hypothesis but incon-sistent with the hypotheses proposed for coexisting trees,suggest-ing that the LMA--height relationship is shaped by rather different mechanisms between the within-and among-communities lev-els.(iv)The variation partitioning analysis showed that,the rela-tionships between leaf traits and biological characters largely reflected the differences in both leaf traits and biological char-acters among species that occupying different sites.The relative importance of phylogenetic,biological and environmental fac-tors differed remarkably among leaf traits,between the within-and among-communities levels,and between different biomes.(v)Our results strongly suggest the necessity of examining the three types of factors simultaneously,and at both the within-and among-communities levels,for a better understanding of the drivers for leaf traits patterns.Chao Liu Xiangping Wang Xian Wu Shuang Dai Jin-Sheng He Weilun Yin 2013Journal of Plant Ecology2013,6,3:19
4Single and joint stress of acetochlor and Pb on three agricultural crops in northeast China显示文摘In order to evaluate ecological risk of agrochemicals in agricultural environment,single and joint toxic effects of an importantherbicide and a typical heavy metal on root elongation of crops were investigated.Seeds of the three crops including wheat(Triticumaestivum),Chinese cabbage(Brassica pekimensis)and soybean(Glycine max)as the main crops in northeast China were exposed toacetochlor as a herbicide and lead(Pb)as a heavy metal using the pot-culture method,and meadow brown soil as one of the main soilsdistributed in northeast China was applied in the investigation.The results indicated that the interactive effects of the two pollutantson root elongation of the three crops were very complicated although they had markedly significant(P<0.01)linear interrelationshipsbased on the regression analyses.When the concentration of added Pb2+reached 200 mg/kg,acetochlor and Pb had an antagonisticeffect on the inhibition of root elongation of the three crops.However,acetochlor and Pb had significantly(P<0.05)synergic effects onthe inhibition of root elongation when concentration of added Pb2+was up to 1000 mg/kg.At the low concentration of added Pb,jointtoxicity of acetochlor and Pb was more dependent on the concentration of Pb.Among the three crops,wheat was the most sensitive tothe toxicity of Pb and Chinese cabbage was the most sensitive to the toxicity of acetochlor.CHAO Lei ZHOU Qi-xing CHEN SU CUI Shuang WANG Mei-e 2007Journal of Environmental Sciences2007,19,6:14
5Helicobacter pylori infection with intestinal metaplasia: An independent risk factor for colorectal adenomas显示文摘AIM To explore the association between Helicobacter pylori(H. pylori) infection status, intestinal metaplasia(IM), and colorectal adenomas.METHODS We retrospectively reviewed 1641 individuals aged ≥ 40 years who underwent physical examination, laboratory testing, 13C-urea breath testing, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and an interview to ascertain baseline characteristics and general state of health. Histopathological results were obtained by gastric and colorectal biopsies.RESULTS The prevalence of H. pylori infection and adenomas was 51.5%(845/1641) and 18.1%(297/1641), respectively. H. pylori infection was significantly correlated with an increased risk of colorectal adenomas(crude OR = 1.535, 95%CI: 1.044-1.753, P = 0.022; adjusted OR = 1.359, 95%CI: 1.035-1.785, P = 0.028). Individuals with IM had an elevated risk of colorectal adenomas(crude OR = 1.664, 95%CI: 1.216-2.277, P = 0.001; adjusted OR = 1.381, 95%CI: 0.998-1.929, P = 0.059). Stratification based on H. pylori infection stage and IM revealed that IM accompanied by H. pylori infection was significantly associated with an increased risk of adenomas(crude OR = 2.109, 95%CI: 1.383-3.216, P= 0.001; adjusted OR = 1.765, 95%CI: 1.130-2.757, P = 0.012).CONCLUSION H. pylori-related IM is associated with a high risk of colorectal adenomas in Chinese individuals.Ye Yan Yi-Na Chen Qian Zhao Chao Chen Chun-Jing Lin Yin Jin Shuang Pan Jian-Sheng Wu 2017World Journal of Gastroenterology2017,23,8:8
6CIVB flashback analysis of hydrogen flame based on azimuthal vorticity at mixing zone exit显示文摘Swirl-premixed combustion systems exhibit potential to meet future regulations on pollution emissions. However, combustion induced vortex breakdown(CIVB) flashback is frequently observed in these systems, especially for high hydrogen content fuel. In this study, a swirl-premixed burner with diverging centerbody was used to investigate CIVB flashback based on azimuthal vorticity at mixing zone exit. Through 2D axisymmetric model, it was found that there was a maximal azimuthal vorticity at mixing zone exit for each equivalence ratio. The physical meaning of these maximal azimuthal vorticity values was the minimally required azimuthal vorticity to trigger CIVB flashback. At the same time, the required azimuthal vorticity declined with the increase of equivalence ratio since turbulent burning velocity started to control flashback. 7P2X7 receptor activation aggravates NADPH oxidase 2-induced oxidative stress after intracerebral hemorrhage显示文摘Oxidative stress is a crucial pathological process that contributes to secondary injury following intracerebral hemorrhage. P2X7 receptor(P2X7R), which is activated by the abnormal accumulation of extracellular ATP, plays an important role in the regulation of oxidative stress in the central nervous system, although the effects of activated P2X7R-associated oxidative stress after intracerebral hemorrhage remain unclear. Mouse models of intracerebral hemorrhage were established through the stereotactic injection of 0.075 U VII collagenase into the right basal ganglia. The results revealed that P2X7R expression peaked 24 hours after intracerebral hemorrhage, and P2X7R expressed primarily in neurons. The inhibition of P2X7R, using A438079(100 mg/kg, intraperitoneal), reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase 2(NOX2) expression and malondialdehyde generation, increased superoxide dismutase and glutathione/oxidized glutathione levels, and alleviated neurological damage, brain edema, and apoptosis after intracellular hemorrhage. The P2X7R inhibitor A438079(100 mg/kg, intraperitoneal injection) inhibited the activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2(ERK1/2) and nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB) after intracerebral hemorrhage. Blocking ERK1/2 activation, using the ERK1/2 inhibitor U0126(2 μg, intraventricular injection), reduced the level of NOX2-mediated oxidative stress induced by P2X7R activation after intracellular hemorrhage. Similarly, the inhibition of NF-κB, using the NF-κB inhibitor JSH-23(3.5 μg, intraventricular), reduced the level of NOX2-mediated oxidative stress induced by P2X7R activation. Finally, GSK2795039(100 mg/kg, intraperitoneal), a NOX2 antagonist, attenuated P2X7R-mediated oxidative stress, neurological damage, and brain edema after intracerebral hemorrhage. The results indicated that P2X7R activation aggravated NOX2-induced oxidative stress through the activation of the ERK1/2 and NF-κB pathways following intracerebral hemorrhage in mice. 9Clinical features of pediatric patients with COVID-19: a report of two family cluster cases显示文摘Background Coronovirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has spread rapidly across the globe.People of all ages are susceptible to COVID-19.However,literature reports on pediatric patients are limited.Methods To improve the recognition of COVID-19 infection in children,we retrospectively reviewed two confirmed pediatric cases from two family clusters.Both clinical features and laboratory examination results of the children and their family members were described.Results The two confirmed children only presented with mild respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms.Both of them had normal chest CT images.After general and symptomatic treatments,both children recovered quickly.Both families had travel histories to Hubei Province.Conclusions Pediatric patients with COVID-19 are mostly owing to family cluster or with a close contact history.Infected children have relatively milder clinical symptoms than infected adults.We should attach importance to early recognition,early diagnosis,and early treatment of infected children.Li-Na Ji Shuang Chao Yue-Jiao Wang Xue-Jun Li Xiang-Dong Mu Ming-Gui Lin Rong-Meng Jiang 2020World Journal of Pediatrics2020,16,3:5
10The telomere-to-telomere genome of Fragaria vesca reveals the genomic evolution of Fragaria and the origin of cultivated octoploid strawberry显示文摘Fragaria vesca,commonly known as wild or woodland strawberry,is the most widely distributed diploid Fragaria species and is native to Europe and Asia.Because of its small plant size,low heterozygosity,and relative ease of genetic transformation,F.vesca has been a model plant for fruit research since the publication of its Illumina-based genome in 2011.However,its genomic contribution to octoploid cultivated strawberry remains a long-standing question.Here,we de novo assembled and annotated a telomere-to-telomere,gap-free genome of F.vesca‘Hawaii 4’,with all seven chromosomes assembled into single contigs,providing the highest completeness and assembly quality to date.The gap-free genome is 220785082 bp in length and encodes 36173 protein-coding gene models,including 1153 newly annotated genes.All 14 telomeres and seven centromeres were annotated within the seven chromosomes.Among the three previously recognized wild diploid strawberry ancestors,F.vesca,F.iinumae,and F.viridis,phylogenomic analysis showed that F.vesca and F.viridis are the ancestors of the cultivated octoploid strawberry F.×ananassa,and F.vesca is its closest relative.Three subgenomes of F.×ananassa belong to the F.vesca group,and one is sister to F.viridis.We anticipate that this high-quality,telomere-to-telomere,gap-free F.vesca genome,combined with our phylogenomic inference of the origin of cultivated strawberry,will provide insight into the genomic evolution of Fragaria and facilitate strawberry genetics and molecular breeding.Yuhan Zhou Jinsong Xiong Ziqiang Shu Chao Dong Tingting Gu Pengchuan Sun Shuang He Mian Jiang Zhiqiang Xia Jiayu Xue Wasi Ullah Khan Fei Chen Zong-Ming Cheng 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,4:4
11Wide-field auroral imager onboard the Fengyun satellite显示文摘The newly launched Fengyun-3D(FY-3D)satellite carried a wide-field auroral imager(WAI)that was developed by Changchun Institute of Optics,Fine Mechanics and Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences(CIOMP),which will provide a large field of view(FOV),high spatial resolution,and broadband ultraviolet images of the aurora and the ionosphere by imaging the N2 LBH bands of emissions.The WAI consists of two identical cameras,each with an FOV of 68°in the along-track direction and 10°in the cross-track direction.The two cameras are tilted relative to each other to cover a fan-shaped field of size 130°×10°.Each camera consists of an unobstructed four-mirror anastigmatic optical system,a BaF2 filter,and a photon-counting imaging detector.The spatial resolution of WAI is ~10 km at the nadir point at a reference height of 110 km above the Earth’s surface.The sensitivity is>0.01 counts s^(−1) Rayleigh^(−1) pixel^(−1)(140-180 nm)for both cameras,which is sufficient for mapping the boundaries and the fine structures of the auroral oval during storms/substorms.Based on the tests and calibrations that were conducted prior to launch,the data processing algorithm includes photon signal decoding,geometric distortion correction,photometric correction,flatfield correction,line-of-sight projection and correction,and normalization between the two cameras.Preliminarily processed images are compared with DMSP SSUSI images.The agreement between the images that were captured by two instruments demonstrates that the WAI and the data processing algorithm operate normally and can provide high-quality scientific data for future studies on auroral dynamics.Xiao-Xin Zhang Bo Chen Fei He Ke-Fei Song Ling-Ping He Shi-Jie Liu Quan-Feng Guo Jia-Wei Li Xiao-Dong Wang Hong-Ji Zhang Hai-Feng Wang Zhen-Wei Han Liang Sun Pei-Jie Zhang Shuang Dai Guang-Xing Ding Li-Heng Chen Zhong-Su Wang Guang-Wei Shi Xin Zhang Chao Yu Zhong-Dong Yang Peng Zhang Jin-Song Wang 2019Light(Science & Applications)2019,8,1:3
12Soil and Vegetation Spectral Coupling Difference (SVSCD) for Minerals Extraction from Hyperion Data in Vegetation Covered Area显示文摘Remote sensing data have been widely applied to extract minerals in geologic exploration, however, in areas covered by vegetation, extracted mineral information has mostly been small targets bearing little information. In this paper, we present a new method for mineral extraction aimed at solving the difficulty of mineral identification in vegetation covered areas. The method selected six sets of spectral difference coupling between soil and plant(SVSCD). These sets have the same vegetation spectra reflectance and a maximum different reflectance of soil and mineral spectra from Hyperion image based on spectral reflectance characteristics of measured spectra. The central wavelengths of the six, selected band pairs were 2314 and 701 nm, 1699 and 721 nm, 1336 and 742 nm, 2203 and 681 nm, 2183 and 671 nm, and 2072 and 548 nm. Each data set's reflectance was used to calculate the difference value. After band difference calculation, vegetation information was suppressed and mineral abnormal information was enhanced compared to the scatter plot of original band. Six spectral difference couplings, after vegetation inhibition, were arranged in a new data set that requires two components that have the largest eigenvalue difference from principal component analysis(PCA). The spatial geometric structure features of PC1 and PC2 was used to identify altered minerals by spectral feature fitting(SFF). The collecting rocks from the 10 points that were selected in the concentration of mineral extraction were analyzed under a high-resolution microscope to identify metal minerals and nonmetallic minerals. Results indicated that the extracted minerals were well matched with the verified samples, especially with the sample 2, 4, 5 and 8. 13Y08197 is a novel and selective CBP/EP300 bromodomain inhibitor for the treatment of prostate cancer显示文摘In advanced prostate cancer,CREB(cAMP-responsive element-binding protein)binding protein(CBP)and its homolog EP300 are highly expressed;targeting the bromodomain of CBP is a new strategy for the treatment of prostate cancer.In the current study we identified Y08197,a novel 1-(indolizin-3-yl)ethanone derivative,as a selective inhibitor of CBP/EP300 bromodomain and explored its antitumor activity against prostate cancer cell lines in vitro.In the AlphaScreen assay,we demonstrated that Y08197 dose-dependently inhibited the CBP bromodomain with an IC50 value at 100.67±3.30 nM.Y08197 also exhibited high selectivity for CBP/EP300 over other bromodomain-containing proteins.In LNCaP,22Rv1 and VCaP prostate cancer cells,treatment with Y08197(1,5μM)strongly affected downstream signaling transduction,thus markedly inhibiting the expression of androgen receptor(AR)-regulated genes PSA,KLK2,TMPRSS2,and oncogenes C-MYC and ERG.Notably,Y08197 potently inhibited cell growth in several AR-positive prostate cancer cell lines including LNCaP,22Rv1,VCaP,and C4-2B.In 22Rv1 prostate cancer cells,treatment with Y08197(1,4,16μM)dose-dependently induced G0/G1 phase arrest and apoptosis.Furthermore,treatment with Y08197(5μM)significantly decreased ERG-induced invasive capacity of 22Rv1 prostate cancer cells detected in wound-healing assay and cell migration assay.Taken together,CBP/EP300 inhibitor Y08197 represents a promising lead compound for development as new therapeutics for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer.Ling-jiao Zou Qiu-ping Xiang Xiao-qian Xue Cheng Zhang Chen-chang Li Chao Wang Qiu Li Rui Wang Shuang Wu Yu-lai Zhou Yan Zhang Yong Xu 2019Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2019,40,11:3

15The first data release(DR1) of the LAMOST regular survey显示文摘The Large sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope(LAMOST) general survey is a spectroscopic survey that will eventually cover approximately half of the celestial sphere and collect 10 million spectra of stars, galaxies and QSOs. Objects in both the pilot survey and the first year regular survey are included in the LAMOST DR1. The pilot survey started in October 2011 and ended in June 2012, and the data have been released to the public as the LAMOST Pilot Data Release in August 2012. The regular survey started in September 2012, and completed its first year of operation in June 2013. The LAMOST DR1 includes a total of 1202 plates containing 2 955 336 spectra, of which 1 790 879 spectra have observed signalto-noise ratio(SNR) ≥ 10. All data with SNR ≥ 2 are formally released as LAMOST DR1 under the LAMOST data policy. This data release contains a total of 2 204 696 spectra, of which 1 944 329 are stellar spectra, 12 082 are galaxy spectra and 5017 are quasars. The DR1 not only includes spectra, but also three stellar catalogs with measured parameters: late A,FGK-type stars with high quality spectra(1 061 918 entries), A-type stars(100 073 entries), and M-type stars(121 522 entries). This paper introduces the survey design, the observational and instrumental limitations, data reduction and analysis, and some caveats. 16Novel optical properties and induced magnetic moments in Ru-doped hybrid improper ferroelectric Ca3Ti2O7显示文摘Hybrid improper ferroelectric Ca3Ti2O7 and Ca3Tii 9RuO.iO7 ceramics were successfully synthesized by conventional solid-state reaction method.Two strongest diffraction peaks located around 2θ=33°shifted towards the lower angle region with Ru substitution,reflecting structure variation.Grain growth and higher oxygen vacancy concentration after doping resulted in a reduction in the coercive field about 20 kV/cm.Optical bandgap estimated by UV-vis diffuse reflectance(DR)spectrum and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)valence band spectra showed a decreasing trend due to the existence of impurity energy level upon Ru doping,which was consistent with the results of first-principles calculations.The origin of the unexpected induced magnetic moments in Ru-dope Ca3Ti2O7 is also discussed.Xingxing WU Shouyu WANG Winnie WONG-NG Qiang GU Yao JIANG Chao WANG Shuang MA Weifang LIU 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,1:2
17Effects of typhoon Roke and Haitang on phytoplankton community structure in northeastern South China sea显示文摘The influence of typhoon and Kuroshio intrusion process on the natural phytoplankton assemblages in the northeastern South China Sea(neSCS)was examined during a cruise in summer 2017.One hundred ninety-six seawater samples were collected and analyzed in the neSCS.In total,299 species were identified belonging to 82 genera,mostly dominated by Bacillariophyta(159),followed by Dinophyta(132),Cyanophyta(4)and Chrysophyta(4).Among all,Thalassionema nitzschioides,Thalassionema frauenfeldii,Thalassiosira minima,in Bacillariophyta,Prorocentrum lenticulatum,Prorocentrum compressum in Dinophyta,and Trichodesmium thiebautii,in the Cyanophyta were the most dominated species,respectively.Correlation analysis shows compared with other groups Bacillariophyta was mostly influenced by silicate,whereas,Dinophyta and Cyanophyta showed significant correlation with temperature,salinity,phosphate,and nitrate.After the typhoon,the higher abundance of Dinophyta was observed,whereas it was lower in case of Bacillariophyta and Cyanophyta,shows typhoon“Roke“and”Haitang”had a significant influence on the phytoplankton assemblages,which could be manifested by the variations of total phytoplankton abundance in the surface water of neSCS.Overall,our present study provides the latest in-depth information about how the environmental factors influencing the phytoplankton density and diversity in the neSCS during summer.Yingjie Mao Jun Sun Congcong Guo Yuqiu Wei Xingzhou Wang Shuang Yang Chao Wu 2019Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2019,5,1:2
18Balancing sub‐reaction activity to boost electrocatalytic urea synthesis using a metal‐free electrocatalyst显示文摘Electrocatalytic urea synthesis via coupling of nitrate with CO_(2)is considered as a promising alternative to the industrial urea synthetic process.However,the requirement of sub-reaction(NO_(3)RR and CO_(2)RR)activities for efficient urea synthesis is not clear and the related reaction mechanisms remain obscure.Here,the construction,breaking,and rebuilding of the sub-reaction activity balance would be accompanied by the corresponding regulation in urea synthesis,and the balance of sub-reaction activities was proven to play a vital role in efficient urea synthesis.With rational design,a urea yield rate of 610.6 mg h−1 gcat.−1 was realized on the N-doped carbon electrocatalyst,superior to that of noble-metal electrocatalysts.Based on the operando SRFTIR measurements,we proposed that urea synthesis arises from the coupling of^(*)NO and^(*)CO to generate the key intermediate of^(*)OCNO.This work provides new insights and guidelines into urea synthesis from the aspect of activity balance.Chen Chen Shuang Li Xiaorong Zhu Shuowen Bo Kai Cheng Nihan He Mengyi Qiu Chao Xie Dezhong Song Youzhen Liu Wei Chen Yafei Li Qinghua Liu Conggang Li Shuangyin Wang 2023Carbon Energy2023,5,10:2
