1Origin and evolution of waters in the Hancheng coal seams,the Ordos Basin,as revealed from water chemistry and isotope(H,O,^(129)I) analyses显示文摘The coal seams in the Permian Taiyuan Formation and the Carboniferous Shanxi Formation are the primary reservoirs for the coalbed methane(CBM)in the Hancheng region in the Ordos Basin.In this paper,the origin and evolution of waters associated with CBM production were studied on the basis of water chemistry and isotopes including the chloride and iodine compositions,oxygen and hydrogen stable isotopes,and radioactive isotope ratio of129I/127I.The ratio of129I/127I of water was determined by accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS).The result shows that the formation water is of NaHCO3and NaCl types with the total dissolved solids(TDS)varying from 1532.29 mg/L to 7061.12 mg/L.The values of129I and I/Cl ratio indicate that the formation waters were diluted by meteoric water.The129I/127I ratios range from 6.6×10 13to 1459.5×10 13.The129I/127I ratios for most of the samples are between the129I/127I initial value and that of recent anthropogenic water.This age of the formation water samples,obtained through the129I decay curve method,ranges from 0 Ma to 18.5 Ma,suggesting that the waters from the Taiyuan Formation and the Shanxi Formation are very young.Two different origins of water are identified in the Hancheng region.One group is dominated by pre-anthropogenic meteoric water,and is characterized by129I/127I ratios lower than the initial value of 15×10 13andδD,δ18O values of waters below the Global Meteoric Water Line.The other group is characterized by129I/127I ratios in excess of 15×10 13,which has undergone variable degrees of dilution by recent anthropogenic water.MA XingZhi SONG Yan LIU ShaoBo JIANG Lin HONG Feng 2013Science China Earth Sciences2013,56,11:8
2Effect of AlCl_3 concentration on nanoparticle removal by coagulation显示文摘In recent years,engineered nanoparticles,as a new group of contaminants emerging in natural water,have been given more attention AlCl_3 In order to understand the behavior of nanoparticles in the conventional water treatment process,three kinds of nanoparticle suspensions,namely multi-walled carbon nanotube-humic acid(MWCNT-HA),multiwalled carbon nanotube-N,N-dimethylformamide(MWCNT-DMF) and nano TiO_2-humic acid(TiO_2-HA) were employed to investigate their coagulation removal efficiencies with varying aluminum chloride(AlCl_3) concentrations AlCl_3 Results showed that nanoparticle removal rate curves had a reverse 'U' shape with increasing concentration of aluminum ion(Al^(3+) )AlCl_3 More than 90% of nanoparticles could be effectively removed by an appropriate Al^(3+) concentration AlCl_3 At higher Al^(3+) concentration,nanoparticles would be restabilized AlCl_3 The hydrodynamic particle size of nanoparticles was found to be the crucial factor influencing the effective concentration range(ECR) of Al^(3+) for nanoparticle removal AlCl_3 The ECR of Al^(3+) followed the order MWCNT-DMF > MWCNT-HA > TiO_2-HA,which is the reverse of the nanoparticle size trend AlCl_3 At a given concentration,smaller nanoparticles carry more surface charges,and thus consume more coagulants for neutralization AlCl_3 Therefore,over-saturation occurred at relatively higher Al^(3+) concentration and a wider ECR was obtained AlCl_3 The ECR became broader with increasing p H because of the smaller hydrodynamic particle size of nanoparticles at higher p H values AlCl_3 A high ionic strength of Na Cl can also widen the ECR due to its strong potential to compress the electric double layer AlCl_3 It was concluded that it is important to adjust the dose of Al^(3+) in the ECR for nanoparticle removal in water treatment.Lizhu Zhang Jingchun Mao Qing Zhao Shaobo He Jun Ma 2015Journal of Environmental Sciences2015,27,12:6
3Progress of Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA)显示文摘Jinping Underground laboratory for Nuclear Astrophysics(JUNA) will take the advantage of the ultra-low background of CJPL lab and high current accelerator based on an ECR source and a highly sensitive detector to directly study for the first time a number of crucial reactions occurring at their relevant stellar energies during the evolution of hydrostatic stars. In its first phase, JUNA aims at the direct measurements of^(25)Mg(p,γ)^(26)Al,^(19)F(p,α)^(16)O,^(13)C(α,n)^(16)O and ^(12)C(α,γ)^(16)O reactions. The experimental setup,which includes an accelerator system with high stability and high intensity, a detector system, and a shielding material with low background, will be established during the above research. 4A proposed direct measurement of cross section at Gamow window for key reaction 19F(p,α) 16O in Asymptotic Giant Branch stars with a planned accelerator in CJPL显示文摘In 2014, the National Natural Science Foundation of China(NSFC) approved the Jinping Underground Nuclear Astrophysics laboratory(JUNA) project, which aims at direct cross-section measurements of four key stellar nuclear reactions right down to the Gamow windows. In order to solve the observed fluorine overabundances in Asymptotic Giant Branch(AGB) stars, measuring the key ^(19)F( p,α)^(16)O reaction at effective burning energies(i.e., at Gamow window) is established as one of the scientific research sub-projects. 8Accumulation conditions and key technologies for exploration and development of Qinshui coalbed methane field显示文摘The Qinshui Basin has been explored for more than 60 years through two stages of oil and gas reconnaissance survey and exploration&development of coalbed methane(CBM),it has become the largest CBM industrialization base in China and also is a model which successfully realize commercialization of CBM of high rank coal-bearing basin in the world.Although the high-rank coal field is characterized by low pressure,low permeability,low saturation and strong heterogeneity,the exploration practice and research show that the accumulation conditions of CBM reservoir in the Qinshui Basin are superior.As main productive intervals,No.15 coal seam of Taiyuan Formation and No.3 coal seam of Shanxi Formation respectively belong to the epicontinental-sea carbonate platform sedimentary system and the epicontinental-sea shallow-water delta sedimentary system.The coal seam has large thickness,and is mostly composed of humic coal and mainly contains vitrinite.Affected by tectonic thermal events in the Yanshanian period,the coal rank is high,the adsorption capacity is strong,and the gas content is large.Formation of the CBM reservoir goes through three stages including two stages of hydrocarbon generation,gas phase transformation and sealing of hydrodynamics and roof and floor.In view of the characteristics of the Qinshui Basin topography and the high rank coal,a series of key technologies for exploration and development are developed,including mountainous region seismic acquisition,processing and interpretation technology,drilling and completion technology of multiple wells,drilling and completion technology of multiple horizontal wells dominated by compound V type,deplugging secondary fracturing stimulation technology,control technology of high rank CBM drainage,and CBM gathering and transportation technology,which effectively supports the scale and industrialization development of high rank CBM in the Qinshui Basin.Yan Song Xingzhi Ma Shaobo Liu Lin Jiang Feng Hong Yi Qin 2018Petroleum Research2018,3,4:1
9GLUT3 induced by AMPK/CREB1 axis is key for withstanding energy stress and augments the efficacy of current colorectal cancer therapies显示文摘Cancer cells are usually characterized by hyperactive glucose metabolism,which can often lead to glucose scarcity;thus,alternative pathways to rewire cancer metabolism are required.Here,we demonstrated that GLUT3 was highly expressed in colorectal cancer(CRC)and negatively linked to CRC patient outcomes,whereas GLUT1 was not associated with CRC prognosis.Under glucoselimiting conditions,GLUT3 expedited CRC cell growth by accelerating glucose input and fuelling nucleotide synthesis.Notably,GLUT3 had a greater impact on cell growth than GLUT1 under glucose-limiting stress.Mechanistically,low-glucose stress dramatically upregulated GLUT3 via the AMPK/CREB1 pathway.Furthermore,high GLUT3 expression remarkably increased the sensitivity of CRC cells to treatment with vitamin C and vitamin C-containing regimens.Together,the results of this study highlight the importance of the AMPK/CREB1/GLUT3 pathway for CRC cells to withstand glucose-limiting stress and underscore the therapeutic potential of vitamin C in CRC with high GLUT3 expression.Weixing Dai Ye Xu Shaobo Mo Qingguo Li Jun Yu Renjie Wang Yanlei Ma Yan Ni Wenqiang Xiang Lingyu Han Long Zhang Sanjun Cai Jun Qin Wen-Lian Chen Wei Jia Guoxiang Cai 2020Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2020,5,1:1

13Allometric models for aboveground biomass of six common subtropical shrubs and small trees显示文摘The aboveground biomass(AGB)of shrubs and small trees is the main component for the productivity and carbon storage of understory vegetation in subtropical secondary forests.However,few allometric models exist to accurately evaluate understory biomass.To estimate the AGB of five common shrub(diameter at base<5 cm,<5 m high)and one small tree species(<8 m high,trees’s seedling),206 individuals were harvested and species-specific and multi-species allometric models developed based on four predictors,height(H),stem diameter(D),crown area(Ca),and wood density(ρ).As expected,the six species possessed greater biomass in their stems compared with branches,with the lowest biomass in the leaves.Species-specific allometric models that employed stem diameter and the combined variables of D~2H andρDH as predictors accurately estimated the components and total AGB,with R^(2) values from 0.602 and 0.971.A multi-species shrub allometric model revealed that wood density×diameter×height(ρDH)was the best predictor,with R^(2) values ranging from between 0.81 and 0.89 for the components and total AGB,respectively.These results indicated that height(H)and diameter(D)were effective predictors for the models to estimate the AGB of the six species,and the introduction of wood density(ρ)improved their accuracy.The optimal models selected in this study could be applied to estimate the biomass of shrubs and small trees in subtropical regions.Cheng Huang Chun Feng Yuhua Ma Hua Liu Zhaocheng Wang Shaobo Yang Wenjing Wang Songling Fu Han Y.H.Chen 2022Journal of Forestry Research2022,33,4:1

16Quadruple-band metamaterial absorber based on the cuboid dielectric particles显示文摘In this work,a quadruple-band dielectric metamaterial absorber(MMA)was proposed and studied,which is composed of eight cuboid dielectric particles and a metallic ground plate.When electromagnetic wave is incident on the dielectric particles,dielectric particles act as resonators and produce abundant resonant modes,which can result in perfect absorption.In simulation,four absorption peaks are observed at 9.13,9.62,10.0 and 10.46 GHz with 88%,89%,100%and 96%,respectively.By adjusting geometry parameters of the dielectric particles,dielectric MMAs with different bands can be obtained.Further investigation shows that the absorption peaks can be changed by increasing the permittivity of the dielectric.Based on the designing technique of using simple cuboid dielectric particles directly acting as resonator,this work provides a simple method to construct multiband alldielectric MMA.Wenjie Wang Mingde Feng Jun Wang Zhiqiang Li Jiafu Wang Hua Ma Shaobo Qu 2018Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2018,8,4:0
17Structural and Electronic Properties of BaO/MgO(001)-type Interface Studied via Aberration-corrected Transmission Electron Microscopy and First-principles Calculations显示文摘The properties of BaO/MgO-type interface in the BaZrO3/MgO(001) heterostructure are studied by aberrationcorrected high-resolution transmission electron microscopy combined with first-principles calculations.Experimental evidence demonstrates that cation displacement and vacancies occur at the interface. Our firstprinciple calculations show that cation displacement results from the electrostatic potential effect at the interface,and cation vacancies could lower the interfacial work of separation and enhance the interfacial stability of BaO/MgO-type interface. 18A transmit/reflect switchable frequency selective surface based on all dielectric metamaterials显示文摘In this paper,we propose a novel transmit/reflect switchable frequency selective surface(FSS)in millimeter wave band based on the effective medium theory under quasi-static limit,which is designed with square-hole elements cut from continuum dielectric plates.The building elements of the surface are composed of all dielectric metamaterial rather than metal material.With proper structural design and parameters tuning,the resonance frequencies can be tuned appropriately.The frequency response of the surface can be switched from that of a reflecting structure to a transmitting one by rotating the surface 90°,which means under different incident polarizations.The reflective response can be realized due to the effect of electric and magnetic resonances.Theoretical analysis shows that the reflective response arises from impedance mismatching by electric and magnetic resonances.And the transmitting response is the left-handed passband,arises from the coupling of the electric and magnetic resonances.In addition,effective electromagnetic parameters and the dynamic induced field distributions are analyzed to explain the mechanism of the responses.The method can also be used to design switchable all-dielectric FSS with continuum structures in other frequencies.Fei Yu Jun Wang Jiafu Wang Hua Ma Hongliang Du Xu Zhuo Shaobo Qu 2015Journal of Advanced Dielectrics2015,5,4:0
19Transcriptome Analysis of Crassostrea sikamea (♀) × Crassostrea gigas (♂) Hybrids Under and After Thermal Stress显示文摘Crossbreeding is an effective approach to manage the genetic decline in aquaculture.One-way hybrids of Crassostrea sikamea(♀)and Crassostrea gigas(♂)have advantages in growth traits and adaptation to high temperature.Here,we used high-throughput sequencing to analyze the molecular processes in the hybrids under and after thermal stress.The hybrids were cultured in the seawater with an increasing temperature from 25℃to 40℃during 10 hours,which is regarded as the thermal stress stage.Then the temperature decreased from 40℃to 25℃within 2 h,which is regarded as the recovery stage.In this study,1293 significant diffe-rentially expressed genes(DEGs)were obtained under thermal stress,of which 576 were upregulated and 717 were downregulated,and 740 significant differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were obtained in the recovery stage,of which the number of upregulated and downregulated genes was 409 and 331,respectively.The antigen processing and presentation,NOD-like,and NF-kappa B path-ways were significantly enriched during the thermal stress stage.The MAPK and PPAR signaling pathways were significantly enrich-ed during the recovery stage.The HSP70,HSP90,and CANX genes were strongly and rapidly upregulated in the control/thermal stress groups but were slightly less upregulated in the thermal stress/recovery group.These results indicate that the innate immune system or nonspecific immunity was deployed to protect interior tissues from thermal stress.In addition,85%of the mutual DEGs were involved in bidirectional regulation(up/down or down/up)when the oysters were removed from the thermal stress to recover.This study provides preliminary insight into the molecular response of C.sikamea(♀)and C.gigas(♂)hybrids to thermal stress and provides a basis for future studies on temperature-adaptation and the possible expansion of hybrid breeding.ZHANG Xuekai FAN Chao ZHANG Xingzhi LI Qiongzhen LI Yangchun MA Peizhen YUE Shaobo HUO Zhongming WANG Zhaoping 2022Journal of Ocean University of China2022,21,1:0
