1Influence of Agricultural Activity on Nitrogen Budget in Chinese and Japanese Watersheds显示文摘To analyze the effect of agricultural activity on nitrogen(N) budget at the watershed scale,a comparative study was conducted at two Japanese watersheds,the Shibetsu River watershed(SRW) and Upper-Naka River watershed(UNRW),and one Chinese watershed,the Jurong Reservoir watershed(JRW).The total area and the proportion of agricultural area(in parentheses) of the watersheds were 685(51%),1 299(21%),and 46 km 2(55%) for SRW,UNRW,and JRW,respectively.The main agricultural land use in SRW was forage grassland,while paddy fields occupied the highest proportion of cropland in UNRW(11% of total area) and JRW(31% of total area).The farmland surplus N was 61,48,and 205 kg N ha 1 year 1 for SRW,UNRW,and JRW,respectively.The total input and output for the whole watershed were 89 and 76,83 and 61,and 353 and 176 kg N ha 1 year 1 for SRW,UNRW,and JRW,respectively.The proportion of discharged N to net anthropogenic N input was 31%,37%,and 1.7% for SRW,UNRW,and JRW,respectively.The two watersheds in Japan showed similar proportions of discharged N to those of previous reports,while the watershed in China(JRW) showed a totally different characteristic compared to previous studies.The high N input in JRW did not increase the amount of discharged N at the outlet of the watershed due to high proportions of paddy fields and water bodies,which was an underestimated N sink at the landscape scale.S. 22-14 Investigation of the Thermonuclear 18Ne(α, p)21Na Reaction Rate via Resonant Elastic Scattering of 21Na + p显示文摘A nuclear astrophysics experiment was performed at CRIB (CNS low-energy Radioactive-Ion Beam separator)on Mar. 2011. The goal of this experiment is to study the reaction rate of 18Ne(,p)21Na reaction, which mightbe a key breakout reaction from the hot CNO cycle to rp-process in X-ray burst and nova. Yet its reaction rate ispoorly known.Explosive hydrogen burning is thought to be the main source of energy generation and a source of nucleosynthesisin X-ray burst and nova[1;2]. For example, XRBs are characterized by a sudden increase of X-ray emission withinonly a few seconds to a total energy output of about 1040 ergs, which is observed to repeat with some regularity.The recurrence time for single bursts can range from hours to days at the typical temperature of 0.4~2 GK. Thebursts have been interpreted as being generated by thermonuclear runaway on the surface of a neutron star thataccretes H- and He-rich material from a less evolved companion star in a close binary system. 20日本系统性硬化症患者中的抗DNA拓扑异构酶Ⅱα自身抗体显示文摘The pathogenesis and etiology of systemic sclerosis (SSc) remain unknown, but the presence of several autoantibodies is recognized as one of its prominent features. The clinical significance of anti- DNA topoisomerase Ⅱ α antibody (anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab) remains unknown in Japanese patients with SSc. To determine the prevalence and clinical correlation of anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab in Japanese patients with SSc. Serum samples were obtained from 103 Japanese patients with SSc. Control serum samples were obtained from 43 healthy Japanese volunteers. Anti- topo Ⅱ α Abs were determined by enzyme linked- immunosorbent assay.IgG anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab levels were significantly increased in SSc patients (n=103) compared to normal controls (n=43; P<0.005). IgG or IgM anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab was detected in 19% (20/103) of SSc patients when absorbance values higher than the mean+ 2SD of control serum samples were considered positive. By contrast, IgG or IgM anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab was observed in only 7% (3/43) of healthy individuals. The presence of pulmonary fibrosis was more frequently detected in SSc patients with IgG anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab than those without the Ab (P<0.05). Moreover, % DLco and % VC were significantly decreased in SSc patients with anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab relative to those without the Ab (P<0.05 and P<0.01, respectively). The elevated levels of both erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C- reactive protein were also more frequently observed in SSc patients positive for IgG anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab (P<0.005). The results of the present study indicate that anti- topo Ⅱ α Ab represent one of the autoantibody specificities detected on SSc patients and may be regarded a serological marker of pulmonary fibrosis in Japanese patients with SSc.Hayakawa I.
