1Simultaneous Screening of 733 Pesticide Residues in Fruits and Vegetables by a GC/LC-Q-TOFMS Combination Technique显示文摘In this paper,we report the construction of two accurate mass databases and the development of a combination detection method that simultaneously screens for 733 pesticide and chemical contaminant multi-residues via high-throughput liquid chromatography(LC)-and gas chromatography(GC)-quadru pole-time-of-flight mass spectrometry(Q-TOFMS).This work demonstrates that electronic mass spectral standards may replace chemical-source standard materials as references through one sample preparation and the combination of GC/LC-Q-TOFMS screening.This cutting-edge technique has also replaced multiresidue determination using targeted detection with non-targeted screening.The pesticide residue types,sensitivity,recovery,and reproducibility of this combination technique are evaluated in eight fruit and vegetable matrices.This technique shows three advantages:①In comparison with the discovery capability of a single technique,the combination technique shows an improvement of 51.1%(GC-QTOFMS)and 39.6%(LC-Q-TOFMS),respectively;②the combination technique can satisfy a screening limit lower than 10μg·kg^-1 and meet the requirements of“uniform standards,”although some of the pesticide residues could be optimized to further improve screening sensitivity;③over 488 pesticides with recoveries between 60%-120%and relative standard deviation(RSD)<20%at a spiked level of 10μg·kg^-1 were detected with the combination technique in eight different matrices.From 2012 to 2017,this combination technique was applied in an investigation to screen pesticide residues from 1384 sampling locations for 38138 batched samples covering 18 categories and 134 types of fruits and vegetables obtained from across the mainland of China.After statistical analysis,533 pesticides in 115891 determinations were detected,and the regularity of pesticides in the fruits and vegetables sold on the Chinese market was shown.Guofang Pang Qiaoying Chang Ruobin Bai Chunlin Fan Zijuan Zhang Hongyuan Yan Xingqiang Wu 2020Engineering2020,6,4:11
2Microstructure and mechanical properties of CoCrNi-Mo medium entropy alloys:Experiments and first-principle calculations显示文摘The effect of Mo additions on the microstructures and mechanical properties of CoCrNi alloys was investigated,meanwhile,ab initio calculations are performed to quantitatively evaluate the lattice distortion and stacking fault energy(SFE).The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and elongation of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy are 475 MPa,983 MPa and 69%,respectively.The yield strength is increased by~30%and high ductility is maintained,in comparison with CoCrNi alloy.Besides the nano-twins and dislocations,the higher density of stacking faults is induced during the tensile deformation for(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy.Ab initio calculation results indicate the mean square atomic displacement(MSAD)and SFE value of(CoCrNi)_(97)Mo_(3)alloy is 42.6 pm^(2)and-40.4 mJ/m^(2)at 0 K,respectively.The relationship between mechanical properties and MSAD,SFE for various multiple principal element alloys is discussed.Ruobin Chang Wei Fang Jiaohui Yan Haoyang Yu Xi Bai Jia Li Shiying Wang Shijian Zheng Fuxing Yin 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3:5

10Tuning the primary selective nanochannels of MOF thin-film nanocomposite nanofiltration membranes for efficient removal of hydrophobic endocrine disrupting compounds显示文摘Metal organic framework(MOF)incorporated thin-film nanocomposite(TFN)membranes have the potential to enhance the removal of endocrine disrupting compounds(EDCs).In MOF-TFN membranes,water transport nanochannels include(i)pores of polyamide layer,(ii)pores in MOFs and(iii)channels around MOFs(polyamide-MOF interface).However,information on how to tune the nanochannels to enhance EDCs rejection is scarce,impeding the refinement of TFN membranes toward efficient removal of EDCs.In this study,by changing the polyamide properties,the water transport nanochannels could be confined primarily in pores of MOFs when the polyamide layer became dense.Interestingly,the improved rejection of EDCs was dependent on the water transport channels of the TFN membrane.At low monomer concentration(i.e.,loose polyamide structure),the hydrophilic nanochannels of MIL-101(Cr)in the polyamide layer could not dominate the membrane separation performance,and hence the extent of improvement in EDCs rejection was relatively low.In contrast,at high monomer concentration(i.e.,dense polyamide structure),the hydrophilic nanochannels of MIL-101(Cr)were responsible for the selective removal of hydrophobic EDCs,demonstrating that the manipulation of water transport nanochannels in the TFN membrane could successfully overcome the permeability and EDCs rejection trade-off.Our results highlight the potential of tuning primary selective nanochannels of MOF-TFN membranes for the efficient removal of EDCs.Ruobin Dai Hongyi Han Yuting Zhu Xi Wang Zhiwei Wang 2022Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2022,16,4:0
11Analytical Modeling and Mechanism Analysis of Time-Varying Excitation for Surface Defects in Rolling Element Bearings显示文摘Surface defects,including dents,spalls,and cracks,for rolling element bearings are the most common faults in rotating machinery.The accurate model for the time-varying excitation is the basis for the vibration mechanism analysis and fault feature extraction.However,in conventional investigations,this issue is not well and fully addressed from the perspective of theoretical analysis and physical derivation.In this study,an improved analytical model for time-varying displacement excitations(TVDEs)caused by surface defects is theoretically formulated.First and foremost,the physical mechanism for the effect of defect sizes on the physical process of rolling element-defect interaction is revealed.According to the physical interaction mechanism between the rolling element and different types of defects,the relationship between time-varying displacement pulse and defect sizes is further analytically derived.With the obtained time-varying displacement pulse,the dynamic model for the deep groove bearings considering the internal excitation caused by the surface defect is established.The nonlinear vibration responses and fault features induced by surface defects are analyzed using the proposed TVDE model.The results suggest that the presence of surface defects may result in the occurrence of the dual-impulse phenomenon,which can serve as indexes for surface-defect fault diagnosis.Laihao Yang Yu Sun Ruobin Sun Lixia Gao Xuefeng Chen 2023Journal of Dynamics, Monitoring and Diagnostics2023,2,2:0
12Topologically tuned terahertz confinement in a nonlinear photonic chip显示文摘Compact terahertz(THz)functional devices are greatly sought after for high-speed wireless communication,biochemical sensing,and non-destructive inspection.However,controlled THz generation,along with transport and detection,has remained a challenge especially for chip-scale devices due to low-coupling efficiency and unavoidable absorption losses.Here,based on the topological protection of electromagnetic waves,we demonstrate nonlinear generation and topologically tuned confinement of THz waves in an engineered lithium niobate chip forming a wedge-shaped Su-Schrieffer-Heeger lattice.Experimentally measured band structures provide direct visualization of the THz localization in the momentum space,while robustness of the confined mode against chiral perturbations is also analyzed and compared for both topologically trivial and nontrivial regimes.Such topological control of THz waves may bring about new possibilities in the realization of THz integrated circuits,promising for advanced photonic applications.Jiayi Wang Shiqi Xia Ride Wang Ruobin Ma Yao Lu Xinzheng Zhang Daohong Song Qiang Wu Roberto Morandotti Jingjun Xu Zhigang Chen 2022Light(Science & Applications)2022,11,6:0
13Electrochemical removal and recovery of phosphorus from wastewater using cathodic membrane filtration reactor显示文摘Removal and recovery of phosphorus(P) from wastewater is of great importance to addressing the challenges of eutrophication and phosphorus shortage. The P removal and recovery performance of conventional electrochemical precipitation approach was constrained by the limited mass transfer rate. Herein,a cathodic membrane filtration(CMF) reactor was developed using Ti/SnO_(2)-Sb anode and titanium mesh cathodic membrane module to achieve efficient removal and recovery of P in wastewater. Compared with the flow-by mode, the CMF system in the flow-through mode exhibited excellent P removal performance due to the markedly enhanced mass transfer. At the current density of 4 A/m^(2), membrane flux of 16.6 L m^(-2)h^(-1), and Ca/P molar ratio of 1.67, the removal efficiency of P was 96.2% and the energy consumption was only 45.7 k Wh/kg P. The local high p H of cathode surface played a vital role in P removal,which substantially accelerated the nucleation of calcium phosphate(Ca P). Based on the crystalline and morphological characterization of the precipitates, the hydroxyapatite was the most stable crystalline phase of Ca P, which was transformed from intermediate phases(such as dicalcium phosphate and amorphous calcium phosphate). 14Observer-based State Feedback Control to Suppress Stick-slip Vibrations in Oil Well Drill-string显示文摘In drilling field, stick-slip vibrations of the drill-string are the main reason for the failure of the drilling system. To suppress the undesired stick-slip vibrations, an observer-based state feedback control method is proposed. The drilling system is described by a lumped parameter model including a Karnopp friction torque model. A state observer is designed to estimate the bit velocity in bottom hole and a state feedback controller is proposed to control the top drive velocity. By simulation, the performance of the control algorithm is demonstrated. Based on the control algorithm, a stick-slip vibration control system is developed.
