| 3 | Analysis of Cardiotoxicity from rh-Endostatin Therapy Combined with Chemotherapy显示文摘OBJECTIVE To evaluate the cardotoxicity from recombinant human endostatin(rh-endostatin)combined with chemotherapy. METHODS A total of 12 cancer patients treated with rh- endostatin combined with chemotherapy were selected,and their clinical data collected.Their symptoms,including cardiopalmus, chest distress,dyspnea and changes in their electrocardiogram (ECG),myocardium enzymogram and left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),were observed during the drug treatment.These indicators were used for early diagnosis of cardiotoxicity. RESULTS Compared with a pre-therapeutic value,there was a significant increase in the CK-MB value at one week after starting the treatment as well as at the end of treatment(P<0.05).There was a significant change in the ECG at the end of treatment, compared to a pre-therapeutic condition(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference when comparing the pre-and post- therapeutic LVEF values. CONCLUSION It was recognized that mild cardiac adverse reactions exist in the regimen of recombinant human endostatin combined with chemotherapy.This therapy caused definite injury to the cardiac muscle,but cardiac functions were not obviously changed.CK-MB and ECG may be used as indicators for early monitoring cardiac toxicity.Vigilance against cardiac adverse reactions should be heightened during a course of rh-endostatin combined with chemotherapy. | Jing Qin Penghai Zhang Xinyu Qian Aimin Li Rongcheng Luo Dingli Xu | 2008 | Chinese Journal of Clinical Oncology2008，5，4： | 2 |

| 13 | Influence of the concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus on the growth and interspecies competition of two red tide algae显示文摘The growth and interspecies competition of two red tide algal species Thalassiosira pseudonana Hasle et Heimdal and Gymnodinium sp.were studied under different concentration ratios of nitrogen to phosphorus,and the algal batch culture experiments were conducted.The physiological and biochemical indexes were measured periodically,including the maximum comparing growth rate,relative growth rate,average double time and chlorophyll a concentration.The results showed that when the concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus was 16:1,the maximum comparing growth rate,relative growth rate and chlorophyll a concentration of Thalassiosira pseudonana all reached the highest,and average double time was the shortest.This implied that the optimal concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus of Thalassiosira pseudonana is 16:1.When the concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus was 6:1,the maximum comparing growth rate,relative growth rate and the chlorophyll a concentration of Gymnodinium sp.reached the highest,and average double time was the shortest,so the optimal concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus of Gymnodinium sp.is 6:1.From the growth curves as indicated both in the cell density and the chlorophyll a concentration,it is suggested that the influence of concentration ratio of nitrogen to phosphorus on the chlorophyll a concentration and the cell density are almost the same.Different concentration ratios of nitrogen to phosphorus had weak influence on community succession and the competition between the two algae.Gymnodinium sp.may use the phosphorus in vivo for growth,so it is important to pay attention to the concealment of phosphorus,in order to avoid the outbreak of red tide.On the basis of the importance of nitrogen and phosphorus and the ratio of their concentration,the possible outbreak mechanism of red tide of the two algae was also discussed. | KANG Yanyu LIANG Junrong GAO Yahui LIN Rongcheng GAO Hua XING Xiaoli MA Jie LUO Qiaoqi | 2007 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2007，26，5： | 1 |

| 16 | ARRB2 promotes colorectal cancer growth through triggering WTAP显示文摘Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most lethal cancers worldwide. The expression of β-arrestin2 (β-Arr2, ARRB2) in CRC has been well investigated;however, its exact mechanism causing the cancer progression remains unclear. In this study, we discovered that the expression level of ARRB2 was significantly upregulated in CRC as compared to the normal tissues by employing the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data, western blot analysis, and immunohistochemistry. Furthermore, the level of ARRB2 was correlated with the patients’ overall survival by Kaplan–Meier analysis. The higher expression of ARRB2 promoted CRC cell growth, enhanced the cell motility, and blocked cell apoptosis, which is crucial for tumor growth. Lastly, the suppression of ARRB2 expression was enough to attenuate the progression of CRC induced by azoxymethane/dextran sodium sulfate. Interestingly, we also found that the knockdown of ARRB2 decreased several cancer pathways mediated by the expression of Wilms tumor 1 associated protein (WTAP), which led to the inhibition of cell proliferation and migration.
