1Effect of particles addition to solution of plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)on the properties of PEO coatings formed on magnesium and its alloys:A review显示文摘The plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)procedure is utilized in order to amend the surface properties of Mg and its alloys.This procedure creates a ceramic coating on the surface applying high-voltage.The presence of deep pores and porosities in the surface that affect the corrosion resistance of the coatings is one of the PEO procedure limitations.One of the useful methods to decrease porosities of coating and improve its final properties is changing electrolyte conditions based on the presence of micro-and nanoparticles.The present paper reviews the mechanisms of particle adsorption and composition in PEO thin films in addition to the effect of particle addition on the microstructure,composition and corrosion behavior of coatings that were applied on magnesium alloys.Arash Fattah-alhosseini Razieh Chaharmahali Kazem Babaei 2020Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2020,8,3:14

3Solvent extraction and separation of light rare earth elements (La, Pr and Nd) in the presence of lactic acid as a complexing agent by Cyanex 272 in kerosene and the effect of citric acid,acetic acid and Titriplex Ⅲ as auxiliary agents显示文摘At present, the use of rare earth elements(REEs) has become an inevitable necessity in many modern industries. In general, liquid extraction is the best commercial method for extracting REEs due to its ability to control high volumes of liquids with electrical load. With the aim of improving a separation technology that would be superior to the existing extraction systems, the extraction behaviors of La(Ⅲ),Pr(Ⅲ), and Nd(Ⅲ) from an HCI medium with Cyanex 272 in the presence of the complexing agent lactic acid(HLac) and auxiliary agents citric acid(H_3 Cit), acetic acid(HAc), and Titriplex Ⅲ have been reported.The effect of pH and lactic acid concentration has been examined. The use of lactic acid as a complexing agent leading to a high extraction of REEs with Cyanex 272 at pH = 5 was compared with systems without lactic acid. The results show that the use of acetic acid along with lactic acid leads to an increase in the extraction percentage of LREEs. While use of citric acid and Titriplex Ⅲ reduces the extraction percentage of LREEs. 4Surface characterization and corrosion behavior of calcium phosphate(Ca-P)base composite layer on Mg and its alloys using plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO):A review显示文摘Magnesium has been known as an appropriate biological material on account of its good biocompatibility and biodegradability properties in addition to advantageous mechanical properties.Mg and its alloys are of poor corrosion resistance.Its high corrosion rate leads to its quick decomposition in the corrosive ambiance and as a result weakening its mechanical properties and before it is repaired,it will vanish.The corrosion and degradation rate must be controlled in the body to advance the usage of Mg and its alloys as implants.Different techniques have been utilized to boost biological properties.Plasma electrolytic oxidation(PEO)can provide porous and biocompatible coatings for implants among various techniques.Biodegradable implants are generally supposed to show enough corrosion resistance and mechanical integrity in the body environment.Much research has been carried out in order to produce PEO coatings containing calcium phosphate compounds.Calcium phosphates are really similar to bone mineral composition and present great biocompatibility.The present study deals with the usage of calcium phosphates as biocompatible coatings applied on Mg and its alloys to study the properties and control the corrosion rate.Razieh Chaharmahali Arash Fattah-alhosseini Kazem Babaei 2021Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2021,9,1:6
5Quercetin protects liver injury induced by bile duct ligation via attenuation of Rac1 and NADPH oxidase1 expression in rats显示文摘BACKGROUND: Bile duct ligation(BDL) and subsequent cholestasis are correlated with oxidative stress, hepatocellular injury and fibrosis. Quercetin is a flavonoid with antifibrotic,and hepatoprotective properties. However, the molecular mechanism underlying quercetin-mediated hepatoprotection is not fully understood. The current study was to evaluate mechanisms of hepatoprotective effect of quercetin in BDL rat model.METHODS: We divided male Wistar rats into 4 groups(n=8 for each): sham, sham+quercetin(30 mg/kg per day), BDL, and BDL+quercetin(30 mg/kg per day). Four weeks later, the rats were sacrificed, the blood was collected for liver enzyme measurements and liver for the measurement of Rac1, Rac1-GTP and NOX1 mR NA and protein levels by quantitative PCR and Western blotting, respectively.RESULTS: Quercetin significantly alleviated liver injury in BDL rats as evidenced by histology and reduced liver enzymes.Furthermore, the m RNA and protein expression of Rac1,Rac1-GTP and NOX1 were significantly increased in BDL rats compared with those in the sham group(P<0.05); quercetin treatment reversed these variables back toward normal(P<0.05). 6Modeling-based optimization of a fixed-bed industrial reactor for oxidative dehydrogenation of propane显示文摘An industrial scale propylene production via oxidative dehydrogenation of propane(ODHP)in multi-tubular reactors was modeled.Multi-tubular fixed-bed reactor used for ODHP process,employing 10000 of small diameter tubes immersed in a shell through a proper coolant flows.Herein,a theory-based pseudo-homogeneous model to describe the operation of a fixed bed reactor for the ODHP to correspondence ole fin over V_2O_5/γ-Al_2O_3catalyst was presented.Steady state one dimensional model has been developed to identify the operation parameters and to describe the propane and oxygen conversions,gas process and coolant temperatures,as well as other parameters affecting the reactor performance such as pressure.Furthermore,the applied model showed that a double-bed multitubular reactor with intermediate air injection scheme was superior to a single-bed design due to the increasing of propylene selectivity while operating under lower oxygen partial pressures resulting in propane conversion of about 37.3%.The optimized length of the reactor needed to reach 100%conversion of the oxygen was theoretically determined.For the single-bed reactor the optimized length of 11.96 m including 0.5m of inert section at the entrance region and for the double-bed reactor design the optimized lengths of 5.72m for the first and 7.32 m for the second reactor were calculated.Ultimately,the use of a distributed oxygen feed with limited number of injection points indicated a signi ficant improvement on the reactor performance in terms of propane conversion and propylene selectivity.Besides,this concept could overcome the reactor runaway temperature problem and enabled operations at the wider range of conditions to obtain enhanced propylene production in an industrial scale reactor.Ali Darvishi Razieh Davand Farhad Khorasheh Moslem Fattahi 2016Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2016,24,5:5

8Investigation of turbulence characteristics in channel with dense vegetation显示文摘In this experimental study,the turbulent flow in a channel with vegetation by using sprouts of wheat on channel bed was investigated.Two different aspect ratios of channel were used.An Acoustic Doppler Velocimetry was used to measure parameters of turbulent flow over submerged sprouts of wheat,such as velocity profiles.The log law and the Reynolds shear stress distribution were applied. Results indicate that the position of the maximum turbulence intensity superposes on the inflection point situated over the top of submerged vegetation cover.Quadrant analysis shows that near the vegetation bed,the sweeps and ejections appear to be the most dominant phenomenon,while far from the vegetated bed,the outward is dominant event.Results also show that the aspect ratio plays an important role on the contribution of the different bursting events for Reynolds stress determination.Hossein AFZALIMEHR Razieh MOGHBEL Jacques GALLICHAND Jueyi SUI 2011International Journal of Sediment Research2011,26,3:3

12Efficient IL-2R signaling differentially affects the stability,function,and composition of the regulatory T-cell pool显示文摘Signaling via interleukin-2 receptor(IL-2R)is a requisite for regulatory T(Treg)cell identity and function.However,it is not completely understood to what degree IL-2R signaling is required for Treg cell homeostasis,lineage stability and function in both resting and inflammatory conditions.Here,we characterized a spontaneous mutant mouse strain endowed with a hypomorphic Tyr129His variant of CD25,theα-chain of IL-2R,which resulted in diminished receptor expression and reduced IL-2R signaling.Under noninflammatory conditions,Cd25Y129H mice harbored substantially lower numbers of peripheral Treg cells with stable Foxp3 expression that prevented the development of spontaneous autoimmune disease.In contrast,Cd25^(Y^(129H))Treg cells failed to efficiently induce immune suppression and lost lineage commitment in a T-cell transfer colitis model,indicating that unimpaired IL-2R signaling is critical for Treg cell function in inflammatory environments.Moreover,single-cell RNA sequencing of Treg cells revealed that impaired IL-2R signaling profoundly affected the balance of central and effector Treg cell subsets.Thus,partial loss of IL-2R signaling differentially interferes with the maintenance,heterogeneity,and suppressive function of the Treg cell pool.Marc Permanyer Berislav Bošnjak Silke Glage Michaela Friedrichsen Stefan Floess Jochen Huehn Gwendolyn E.Patzer Ivan Odak Nadine Eckert Razieh Zargari Laura Ospina-Quintero Hristo Georgiev Reinhold Förster 2021Cellular & Molecular Immunology2021,18,2:2

15AntLP: ant-based label propagation algorithm for community detection in social networks显示文摘In social network analysis,community detection is one of the significant tasks to study the structure and characteristics of the networks.In recent years,several intelligent and meta-heuristic algorithms have been presented for community detection in complex social networks,among them label propagation algorithm(LPA)is one of the fastest algorithms for discovering community structures.However,due to the randomness of the LPA,its performance is not suitable for the general purpose of network analysis.In this study,the authors propose an improved version of the label propagation(called AntLP)algorithm using similarity indices and ant colony optimisation(ACO).The AntLP consists of two steps:in the first step,the algorithm assigns weights for edges of the input network using several similarity indices,and in the second step,the AntLP using ACO tries to propagate labels and optimise modularity measure by grouping similar vertices in each community based on the local similarities among the vertices of the network.In order to study the performance of the AntLP,several experiments are conducted on some well-known social network datasets.Experimental simulations demonstrated that the AntLP is better than some community detection algorithms for social networks in terms of modularity,normalised mutual information and running time.Razieh Hosseini Alireza Rezvanian 2020CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology2020,5,1:2
