1IL-33 induces immunosuppressive neutrophils via a type 2 innate lymphoid cell/IL-13/STAT6 axis and protects the liver against injury in LCMV infection-induced viral hepatitis显示文摘Viral hepatitis is still a public health problem affecting several million people around the world.Neutrophils are polymorphonuclear cells that have a critical role in antibacterial infection.However,the role of neutrophils in viral infection is not fully understood.By using a mouse model of lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus infection-induced viral hepatitis,we observed increased neutrophil recruitment in the liver accompanied by enhanced CD8+T-cell responses.Liver neutrophils expressed high levels of immunomodulatory cytokines,such as C-X-C chemokine ligand 2,arginase-1,inducible nitric oxide synthase and interleukin(IL)-10,demonstrating immunosuppressive properties.Depletion of neutrophils in vivo by a neutralizing antibody resulted in the exacerbation of liver injury and the promotion of T-cell responses at the immune contraction stage.IL-33 significantly induced neutrophil recruitment in the liver and attenuated liver injury by limiting effector T-cell accumulation.Mechanistically,we found that IL-33 promoted the expression of arginase-1 in neutrophils through the type 2 innate lymphoid cell(ILC2)-derived IL-13.Additionally,IL-13 increased the inhibitory effect of neutrophils on CD8+T-cell proliferation in vitro,partially through arginase-1.Finally,we found that IL-13 induced arginase-1 expression,depending on signal transducer and activator of transcription factor 6(STAT6)signaling.Therefore,IL-33 induced immunosuppressive neutrophils via an ILC2/IL-13/STAT6 axis.Collectively,our findings shed new light on the mechanisms associated with IL-33-triggered neutrophils in the liver and suggest potential targets for therapeutic investigation in viral hepatitis.Yuejin Liang Panpan Yi Denley Ming Kee Yuan Zuliang Jie Zakari Kwota Lynn Soong Yingzi Cong Jiaren Sun 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,2:7
2Clock Differences Prediction Algorithm Based on EMD-SVM显示文摘A new prediction algorithm based on Empirical model decomposition(EMD) and Support vector machine(SVM) is put forward in this paper, and this algorithm solves the problem of the hydrogen atomic clock differences prediction, which is affected by the non-linearity and non-stability. The clock differences were decomposed into Intrinsic mode functions(IMF) and the residual series.The suitable kernel function and parameters were chosen to build the different SVM for predicting each IMF and the residual series. Each prediction result was summed to obtain the clock differences prediction. Results show that the EMD-SVM algorithm is effective compared with the linear regression and single SVM. 3Purification of starch and phosphorus wastewater using core-shell magnetic seeds prepared by sulfated roasting显示文摘Core-shell magnetic seeds with certain adsorption capacity that were prepared by sulfated roasting, served as the core of a magnetic separation technology for purification of starch wastewater. XRD and SEM results indicate that magnetite's surface transformed to be porous α-Fe_2O_3 structure. Compared with magnetite particles, the specific surface area was significantly improved to be 8.361 from 2.591 m^2/g, with little decrease in specific susceptibility. Zeta potential, FT-IR and XPS experiments indicate that both phosphate and starch adsorbed on the surface of the core-shell magnetic seeds by chemical adsorption, which fits well with the Langmuir adsorption model. 5Lipidomics reveals carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1C protects cancer cells from lipotoxicity and senescence显示文摘Lipotoxicity, caused by intracellular lipid accumulation, accelerates the degenerative process of cellular senescence, which has implications in cancer development and therapy. Previously, carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1C(CPT1C), a mitochondrial enzyme that catalyzes carnitinylation of fatty acids, was found to be a critical regulator of cancer cell senescence. However, whether loss of CPT1C could induce senescence as a result of lipotoxicity remains unknown. An LC/MS-based lipidomic analysis of PANC-1,MDA-MB-231, HCT-116 and A549 cancer cells was conducted after siRNA depletion of CPT1C. Cellular lipotoxicity was further confirmed by lipotoxicity assays. Significant changes were found in the lipidome of CPT1C-depleted cells, including major alterations in fatty acid, diacylglycerol, triacylglycerol, oxidative lipids, cardiolipin, phosphatidylglycerol, phosphatidylcholine/phosphatidylethanolamine ratio and sphingomyelin. This was coincident with changes in expressions of mRNAs involved in lipogenesis.Histological and biochemical analyses revealed higher lipid accumulation and increased malondialdehyde and reactive oxygen species, signatures of lipid peroxidation and oxidative stress. Reduction of ATP synthesis, loss of mitochondrial transmembrane potential and down-regulation of expression of mitochondriogenesis gene m RNAs indicated mitochondrial dysfunction induced by lipotoxicity, which could further result in cellular senescence. 6Incidence of Macrosomia in Rural Areas—Henan Province,China,2013–2017显示文摘Introduction:Macrosomia has short-term and long-term adverse health effects and is thus an important public health concern.Recent decades have witnessed increasing incidence of macrosomia in many countries.Methods:The present study used a large population-based birth cohort study to depict incidence of macrosomia among live births in rural areas of Henan Province of China from 2013 to 2017.Results:Among the 1,262,916 births,82,353 were cases of macrosomia.The overall incidence of all types of macrosomia,of macrosomia with birth weight<4,500 g,and of macrosomia with birth weight≥4,500 g were 6.52%,5.30%,and 1.22%,respectively.From 2013 to 2017,the incidence of macrosomia decreased by 31.3%from 7.96%in 2013 to 5.47%in 2017(X^(2)_(trend)=946.96,P_(trend)<0.001).Male infants and infants≥42 gestational weeks had significantly higher incidence of macrosomia than that of female infants and infants<42 gestational weeks(P<0.001).Conclusion:Gestational weight control through nutrition management and physical activities during pregnancy are needed to reduce incidence of macrosomia.Shiqi Lin Jian Chai Jiajia Li Xuejun Shang Lijun Pei Lifang Jiang Junxi Zhang Panpan Sun Wei Dong Yuhong Wang Dezhuan Zhou 2021China CDC weekly2021,3,37:3
7Hierarchical porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres: Hydrothermal synthesis,thermal decomposition, and application as adsorbents for Congo red removal显示文摘A facile eco-friendly hydrothermal route(180 °C, 12.0 h) has been developed for the first time to the uniform hierarchical porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres without the aid of any organic additive, surfactant or template, by using the abundant MgCl_2·6 H_2 O, H_3BO_3 and NaOH as the raw materials. The as-obtained porous microspheres exhibit a specific surface area of 94.752 mg·g^(-1), pore volume of 0.814 cm3·g^(-1), and ca. 84.0% of which have a diameter of 2.25–3.40 μm. The thermal decomposition of the porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres(650 °C,2.5 °C·min^(-1)) leads to the porous Mg_2B_2O_5 microspheres with well-retained morphology. When utilized as the adsorbents for the removal of CR from mimic waste water, the present porous MgBO_2(OH) microspheres exhibit satisfactory adsorption capacity, with the maximum adsorption capacity q^(-1) mof 309.1 mg·g, much higher than that derived from most of the referenced adsorbents. 8Fe atoms anchored on defective nitrogen doped hollow carbon spheres as efficient electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction显示文摘Defective electrocatalysts,especially for intrinsic defective carbon,have aroused a wide concern owing to high spin and charge densities.However,the designated nitrogen species favorable for creating defects by the removal of nitrogen,and the influence of defects for the coordination structure of active site and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)activity have not been elucidated.Herein,we designed and synthesized a pair of electrocatalysts,denoted as Fe-N/C and Fe-ND/C for coordination sites of atomic iron-nitrogen and iron-nitrogen/defect configuration embedded in hollow carbon spheres,respectively,through direct pyrolysis of their corresponding hollow carbon spheres adsorbed with Fe(acac)3.The nitrogen defects were fabricated via the evaporation of pyrrolic-N on nitrogen doped hollow carbon spheres.Results of comparative experiments between Fe-N/C and Fe-ND/C reveal that Fe-ND/C shows superior ORR activity with an onset potential of 30 mV higher than that of Fe-N/C.Fe-ND sites are more favorable for the enhancement of ORR activity.Density functional theory(DFT)calculation demonstrates that Fe-ND/C with proposed coordination structure of FeN_(4-x)(0Panpan Su Wenjuan Huang Jiangwei Zhang Utsab Guharoy Qinggang Du Qiao Sun Qike Jiang Yi Cheng Jie Yang Xiaoli Zhang Yongsheng Liu San Ping Jiang Jian Liu 2021Nano Research2021,14,4:2
9A garnet-electrolyte based molten Li-I_(2) battery with high performance显示文摘Lithium-iodine(Li-I_(2))battery exhibits high potential to match with high-rate property and large energy density.However,problems of the system,such as evident sublimation of iodine elements,dissolution of iodine species in electrolyte,and lithium anode corrosion,prevent the practical use of rechargeable Li-I_(2)batteries.In this work,a molten Li-I_(2)typical cell design which has distinct advantages based on the solid-state garnet electrolyte with the eutectic iodate cathode is firstly developed.The U-shaped ceramic electrolyte tube can separate Li anode from the eutectic iodate cathode,so as to better tackle the above-mentioned inherent challenges for the liquid electrolyte systems.Without self-discharging and lithium anode corrosion,this solid-state battery system demonstrates high safety margin and excellent electrochemical performance.Also,the simple battery structure also indicates the easy assembly process and recycling of electrode materials.With the cathode loading of 593 mg in a single cell,an energy density of~506.7 Wh·kg^(-1)was achieved at 1 C and a long-term cycling life for 2,000 cycles also displays negligible capacity decay.Bin Sun Panpan Wang Jing Xu Qianzheng Jin Zili Zhang Hui Wu Yang Jin 2022Nano Research2022,15,5:2
10Ultrathin FeS nanosheets with high chemodynamic activity for sensitive colorimetric detection of H_(2)O_(2) and glutathione显示文摘Iron chalcogenides have attracted great interest as potential substitutes of nature enzymes in the colorimetric biological sensing due to their unique chemodynamic characteristics.Herein,we report the preparation of ultrathin Fe S nanosheets(NSs)by a simple one-pot hydrothermal method and the prepared Fe S NSs exhibit strong Fenton-reaction activity to catalyze hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))for generation of hydroxyl radical(^(·)OH).Based on the chromogenic reaction of resultant^(·)OH with 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB),we develop colorimetric biosensors for highly sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and glutathione(GSH).The fabricated biosensors show wide linear ranges for the detection of H_(2)O_(2)(5–150μmol/L)and GSH(5–50μmol/L).Their detection limits for H_(2)O_(2)and GSH reach as low as0.19μmol/L and 0.14μmol/L,respectively.The experimental results of sensing intracellular H_(2)O_(2)and GSH demonstrate that this colorimetric method can realize the accurate detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH in normal cells(L02 and 3T3)and cancer cells(MCF-7 and He La).Our results have demonstrated that the synthesized Fe S NSs is a promising material to construct colorimetric biosensors for the sensitive detection of H_(2)O_(2)and GSH,holding great promising for medical diagnosis in cancer therapy.Yefan Duan Qi Li Panpan He Yan Li Jingrun Song Jing Wang Junjie Liu Jiang Zhou Fei Chen Zhusheng Huang Jianfei Sun Ying Zhang Zhimin Luo 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,6:2
11Flexible transparent wood enabled by epoxy resin and ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether显示文摘Transparent wood has potential application in intelligent building,solar cell,electronics,and other advanced materials,while its single functionability hinders its further development.Flexible transparent wood(FTW)was prepared by alkaline pretreatment and bleaching treat-ment of paulownia wood followed by impregnation of epoxy resin and ethylene glycol diglycidyl ether(EDGE).The eff ect of delignifi cation degree on the optical and mechani-cal properties of FTW was studied,and the infl uence of the epoxy/EDGE ratio on the fl exibility and mechanical proper-ties of FTW was also investigated.The results showed that higher delignifi cation degree resulted in higher transmit-tance of FTW.More EDGE addition led to better fl exibility of FTW,while overmuch addition of EDGE will reduce the mechanical properties.The optimal FTW sample resulted in a high transmittance of 89%and an ultrahigh haze value of 97%with outstanding fl exibility and excellent mechanical properties.The investigation of FTW broadens the research fi eld of transparent wood,and provides great possibility for its application in fl exible wearable devices and fl exible materials.Hangchuan Cai Zhiqi Wang Di Xie Panpan Zhao Jianping Sun Daoyu Qin Fangchao Cheng 2021Journal of Forestry Research2021,32,4:2
12Screening of stable internal reference genes by quantitative real-time PCR in humpback grouper Cromileptes altivelis显示文摘Humpback grouper Cromileptes altivelis is one commercial fish with considerable economic value.To determine the expression stabilities of six commonly used internal reference genes in C.altivelis challenged by Vibrio harveyi and viral nervous necrosis virus(VNNV)through quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR),the expression levels of selected genes in five immune organs stimulated with pathogenic infection were carefully evaluated using algorithms of geNorm,NormFinder,and BestKeeper.The results show that the expre ssion stabilities of the six candidate inte rnal reference genes were diffe re nt.Under no rmal physiological conditions,RPL13 were identified as the most stably expressed genes among five different immune organs(liver,spleen,kidney,intestine,and gill).After V.harveyi stimulation,RPL13,RPL13,EF1 A,RPL13,and EF1 A were identified by geNorm,NormFinder,and BestKeeper as the most stable genes in liver,spleen,kidney,intestine,and gill,respectively.Combining these three algorithms suggested that under stimulation of VNNV,RPL13,EF1 A,Actin,RPL13,and Actin were as the most stable genes in liver,spleen,kidney,intestine,and gill,respectively.These results suggest that specific experiment conditions and tissue types shall be considered when selecting the reference genes in qRT-PCR analysis.This study provided a solid foundation for future studies on gene expression of C.altivelis under different conditions.Xiaojuan CHEN Yun SUN Panpan ZHANG Jianlong LI Haiping LI Caoying WEI Zhenjie CAO Yongcan ZHOU 2021Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2021,39,5:2

15Facile hydrothermal-thermal conversion synthesis of CaSiO_3 nanowires as promising structure and function integrated photoluminescent host candidate显示文摘A facile green low-cost controllable hydrothermal-thermal conversion(HTC) process for the uniform high aspect ratio CaSiO_3 nanowires has been developed using abundant CaCl_2·2H_2O and Na_2 SiO_3·9H_2O as raw materials without any organic additive. In a previous research study,a time-efficient implementation technology of demigration was expounded. In the present study,the Fast Marching Method( FMM) used for traveltime computation in the isochrone-stack demigration,is developed. Furthermore,other key techniques( such as selection of aperture and antialiasing filtering factor) are analyzed in detail. Besides,the detail implementation method and program flow are given,which is shown their good computational efficiency and high-quality demigration effect. This implementation technique is illustrated with both the V( z) model and Marmousi model. 18Fibroblast exosomal TFAP2C induced by chitosan oligosaccharides promotes peripheral axon regeneration via the miR-132-5p/CAMKK1 axis显示文摘Chitosan and its degradation product,oligosaccharides,have been shown to facilitate peripheral nerve regeneration.However,the underlying mechanisms are not well understood.In this study,we analyzed the protein expression profiles in sciatic nerves after injury using proteomics.A group of proteins related to exosome packaging and transport is up-regulated by chitosan oligosaccharides(COS),implying that exosomes are involved in COS-induced peripheral nerve regeneration.In fact,exosomes derived from fibroblasts(f-EXOs)treated with COS significantly promoted axon extension and regeneration.Exosomal protein identification and functional studies,revealed that TFAP2C is a key factor in neurite outgrowth induced by COS-f-EXOs.Furthermore,we showed that TFAP2C targets the pri-miRNA-132 gene and represses miR-132-5p expression in dorsal root ganglion neurons.Camkk1 is a downstream substrate of miR-132-5p that positively affects axon extension.In rats,miR-132-5p antagomir stimulates CAMKK1 expression and improves axon regeneration and functional recovery in sciatic nerves after injury.Our data reveal the mechanism for COS in axon regeneration,that is COS induce fibroblasts to produce TFAP2C-enriched EXOs,which are then transferred into axons to promote axon regeneration via miR-132-5p/CAMKK1.Moreover,these results show a new facet of fibroblasts in axon regeneration in peripheral nerves.Yahong Zhao Jina Liu Sha Liu Panpan Yang Yunyun Liang Jinyu Ma Susu Mao Cheng Sun Yumin Yang 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:1
19Using waste to treat waste:Red mud induced hierarchical porousγ-AlOOH andγ-Al_(2)O_(3) microspheres as superior Pd support for catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol显示文摘Toward the imperative treatment of the industrial wastewater containing 4-nitrophenol(4-NP)and industrial solid waste red mud(RM),an innovative approach of“Using waste to treat waste”is developed.Valuable element Al is leached from the RM first,the resultant NaAlO_(2) solution is hydrothermally converted toγ-AlOOH hierarchical porous microspheres(RMγ-AlOOH HPMSs,average diameter:2.0μm,SBET:77.81 m^(2) g^(-1),pore volume:0.38 cm^(3) g^(-1))in the presence of urea.The subsequent mild thermal conversion results inγ-Al_(2)O_(3) hierarchical porous microspheres(RMγ-Al_(2)O_(3) HPMSs).Both of the RMγ-AlOOH and RMγ-Al_(2)O_(3) HPMSs are employed as the Pd catalyst support for the catalytic reduction of 4-NP.Particularly,the as-obtained composite Pd/RMγ-AlOOH and Pd/RMγ-Al_(2)O_(3) exhibit excellent catalytic activities with superior knor as 8204.5 and 4831.4 s^(-1) g^(-1),respectively,significantly higher than that of most Pd based catalysts.Moreover,the excellent catalytic stability and durability of the Pd/RMγ-AlOOH and Pd/RMγ-Al_(2)O_(3) within 10 successive cycles of reduction enable the present industrial solid waste RM inducedγ-AlOOH andγ-Al_(2)O_(3) HPMSs as great promising Pd catalyst support for the reduction of the industrial wastewater containing 4-NP.Yuyu Zheng Jingyi Wang Panpan Sun Huimin Xue Liyun Zhang Jinxiu Chen Heng Zhang Wancheng Zhu 2023Particuology2023,,2:1
20Robust architecture of 2D nano Mg-based borohydride on graphene with superior reversible hydrogen storage performance显示文摘Efficient technical strategies to synthesize hydrides with high capacity and favorable reversibility are significant for the development of novel energy materials.Herein,nano Mg-based borohydride,Mg(BH_(4))_(2),with robust architecture was designed and prepared by confining on graphene through a solution selfconfinement method.The Mg(BH_(4))_(2) confined on graphene displays a wrinkled 2D nano layer morphology within 8.8 nm thickness.Such 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2) can start dehydrogenation at 67.9℃ with a high capacity of 12.0 wt.%,which is 190.5℃ lower than pristine Mg(BH_(4))_(2).The isothermal dehydrogenation tests and kinetics fitting results indicate the 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2) possesses much-enhanced dehydrogenation kinetics of 31.3 kJ/mol activation energy,which is only half of pristine Mg(BH_(4))_(2).The thermodynamics of the 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2) is also verified by PCT tests,of which Gibbs free energy value for the confined 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2) is estimated to be-18.01 kJ/mol H_(2),lower than-16.36 kJ/mol H_(2) of pristine Mg(BH_(4))_(2).Importantly,the reversibility of the confined 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2) is significantly enhanced to over 90%capacity retention with relatively kinetics stability during 10 cycles.The mechanism analyses manifest that Mg(BH_(4))_(2) exhibits stable 2D nano morphology during 10 cyclic tests,resulting in the greatly reduced H diffusion path and the improved de/rehydrogenation kinetics of the 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2).Based on theoretical calculations of Mg(BH_(4))_(2) and the intermediate MgB12H12 confined on graphene,the charge transfer status of both samples is modified to facilitate de/rehydrogenation,thus leading to the significant thermodynamic improvements of the reversible hydrogen storage performances for 2D nano Mg(BH_(4))_(2).Such investigation of the Mg-based borohydride will illuminate prospective technical research of energy storage materials.Xuancheng Wang Yuxiao Jia Xuezhang Xiao Panpan Zhou Jiapeng Bi Jiacheng Qi Ling Lv Fen Xu Lixian Sun Lixin Chen 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,15:0
