| 1 | 盐胁迫环境下腐植酸类物质对小麦生长及矿物营养吸收的影响显示文摘对在不同浓度的盐胁迫条件下,叶面喷施液态腐植酸和土壤施用腐植酸类物质对小麦作物生长和矿物营养吸收的影响进行了研究。通过添加不同量的NaCl得到不同的盐浓度环境。腐植酸类物质在作物种植前一个月施用,液态腐植酸在种苗发芽后20d和35d喷施于小麦叶面。腐植酸类物质的施用量为0、1g/kg、2g/kg,液态腐植酸的浓度为0、0.1%、0.2%。盐度对小麦生长具有负面影响,它会降低小麦对除Na、Mn以外的矿物营养的吸收,影响小麦干重。通过在土壤施用腐植酸类物质可以增加小麦对N的吸收,叶面施用腐植酸可增加其对P、K、Mg、Na、Cu和Zn的吸收。研究结果显示:在土壤中施用腐植酸类物质,不同盐浓度与施用量之间存在较好的相关性,但叶面喷施时盐度和喷施量之间相关性并不明显。在盐胁迫环境的影响下,叶面喷施腐植酸的初始浓度和土壤中施用的腐植酸类物质的初施量都增加了作物对营养元素的吸收。 | Bar Bülent A k Murat Ali Turan Hakan elik Ali Vahap Katkat 刘海弟 | 2009 | 腐植酸2009,,6: | 6 |
| 2 | Neuroprotective effects of daidzein on focal cerebral ischemia injury in rats显示文摘Daidzein, a plant extract, has antioxidant activity. It is hypothesized, in this study, that daidzein exhibits neuroprotective effects on cerebral ischemia. Rat models of middle cerebral artery occlusion were intraperitoneally administered daidzein. Biochemical and immunohistochemical tests showed that superoxide dismutase and nuclear respiratory factor 1 expression levels in the brain tissue decreased after ischemia and they increased obviously after daidzein administration; malondialdehyde level and apoptosis-related cysteine peptidase caspase-3 and caspase-9 immunoreactivity in the brain tissue increased after ischemia and they decreased obviously after daidzein administration. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and luxol fast blue staining results showed that intraperitoneal administration of daidzein markedly alleviated neuronal damage in the ischemic brain tissue. | 3 | Mesenchymal stem cell therapy in patients with small bowel transplantation:Single center experience显示文摘AIM:To study the effects of mesenchymal stem cell(MSC) therapy on the prevention of acute rejection and graft vs host disease following small bowel transplantation.METHODS: In our transplantation center, 6 isolated intestinal transplants have been performed with MSC therapy since 2009. The primary reasons for transplants were short gut syndrome caused by surgical intestine resection for superior mesenteric artery thrombosis(n = 4), Crohn's disease(n = 1) and intestinal aganglionosis(n = 1). Two of the patients were children. At the time of reperfusion, the first dose of MSCs cultured from the patient's bone marrow was passedinto the transplanted intestinal artery at a dose of 1000000 cells/kg. The second and third doses of MSCs were given directly into the mesenteric artery through the arterial anastomosis using an angiography catheter on day 15 and 30 post-transplant.RESULTS: The median follow-up for these patients was 10.6 mo(min: 2 mo-max: 30 mo). Three of the patients developed severe acute rejection. One of these patients did not respond to bolus steroid therapy. Although the other two patients did respond to antirejection treatment, they developed severe fungal and bacterial infections. All of these patients died in the 2nd and 3rd months post-transplant due to sepsis. The remaining patients who did not have acute rejection had good quality of life with no complications observed during the follow-up period. In addition, their intestinal grafts were functioning properly in the 13th, 25th and 30th month post-transplant. The patients who survived did not encounter any problems related to MSC transplantation.CONCLUSION: Although this is a small case series and not a randomized study, it is our opinion that small bowel transplantation is an effective treatment for intestinal failure, and MSC therapy may help to prevent acute rejection and graft vs host disease following intestinal transplantation. | Sait Murat Do?an Sel?uk K?l?n? | 4 | The predictive value of triglyceride-glucose index for in-hospital and one-year mortality in elderly non-diabetic patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction显示文摘BACKGROUND Triglyceride-glucose(TyG)index,a reliable marker of insulin resistance,was associated with cardiovascular morbidity and mortality.This study aimed to evaluate the predictive value of TyG index for mortality in elderly non-diabetic pa-tients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI).METHODS In total,430 non-diabetic patients aged over 65 years with STEMI were consecutively included.The TyG index was calculated by using the following formula:TyG index=ln(fasting triglyceride×fasting glucose/2).The 5-item modified frailty index score was utilized to determine comorbidities.Patients were divided into three groups based on TyG index tertiles.RESULTS Patients included into high TyG index tertile were male and had higher body mass index,glucose,triglyceride,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,5-item modified frailty index and GRACE risk score;and had low systolic blood pressure,estim-ated glomerular filtration rate and left ventricular ejection fraction.A one-unit increase in TyG index was associated with 3.03 ex-tra cases per 1000 person-day for in-hospital mortality and 0.29 extra cases per 1000 person-day for long-term mortality.There was a non-linear relationship between TyG index and the risk of mortality with an increased risk above 8.5 for TyG index.Kaplan-Meier survival curves revealed that patients in high TyG index tertile had higher in-hospital and long-term mortality rates than those in low TyG index tertile.CONCLUSIONS This was the first study to demonstrate that the TyG index could predict in-hospital and long-term mortality in elderly non-diabetic STEMI patients. | FaysalŞaylık TufanÇınar Murat Selçuk İbrahim Halil Tanboğa | 2022 | Journal of Geriatric Cardiology2022,19,8: | 3 |
| 5 | Advanced magnetic resonance imaging findings in salivary gland tumors显示文摘Salivary gland tumors(SGTs)make up a small portion(approximately 5%)of all head and neck tumors.Most of them are located in the parotid glands,while they are less frequently located in the submandibular glands,minor salivary glands or sublingual gland.The incidence of malignant or benign tumors(BTs)in the salivary glands varies according to the salivary gland from which they originate.While most of those detected in the parotid gland tend to be benign,the incidence of malignancy increases in other glands.The use of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the diagnosis of SGTs is increasing every day.While conventional sequences provide sufficient data on the presence,localization,extent and number of the tumor,they are insufficient for tumor specification.With the widespread use of advanced techniques such as diffusion-weighted imaging,semiquantitative and quantitative perfusion MRI,studies and data have been published on the differentiation of malignant or BTs and the specificity of their subtypes.With diffusion MRI,differentiation can be made by utilizing the cellularity and microstructural properties of tumors.For example,SGTs such as high cellular Warthin’s tumor(WT)or lymphoma on diffusion MRI have been reported to have significantly lower apparent diffusion values than other tumors.Contrast agent uptake and wash-out levels of tumors can be detected with semiquantitative perfusion MRI.For example,it is reported that almost all of the pleomorphic adenomas show an increasing enhancement time intensity curve and do not wash-out.On quantitative perfusion MRI studies using perfusion parameters such as Ktrans,Kep,and Ve,it is reported that WTs can show higher Kep and lower Ve values than other tumors.In this study,the contribution of advanced MRI to the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of SGTs will be reviewed. | Erkan Gökçe Murat Beyhan | 2022 | World Journal of Radiology2022,14,8: | 2 |
| 6 | Magnetic resonance imaging findings of redundant nerve roots of the cauda equina显示文摘BACKGROUND Redundant nerve roots(RNRs)of the cauda equina are often a natural evolutionary part of lumbar spinal canal stenosis secondary to degenerative processes characterized by elongated,enlarged,and tortuous nerve roots in the superior and/or inferior of the stenotic segment.Although magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)findings have been defined more frequently in recent years,this condition has been relatively under-recognized in radiological practice.In this study,lumbar MRI findings of RNRs of the cauda equina were evaluated in spinal stenosis patients.AIM To evaluate RNRs of the cauda equina in spinal stenosis patients.METHODS One-hundred and thirty-one patients who underwent lumbar MRI and were found to have spinal stenosis between March 2010 and February 2019 were included in the study.On axial T2-weighted images(T2WI),the cross-sectional area(CSA)of the dural sac was measured at L2-3,L3-4,L4-5,and L5-S1 levels in the axial plane.CSA levels below 100 mm^2 were considered stenosis.Elongation,expansion,and tortuosity in cauda equina fibers in the superior and/or inferior of the stenotic segment were evaluated as RNRs.The patients were divided into two groups:Those with RNRs and those without RNRs.The CSA cut-off value resulting in RNRs of cauda equina was calculated.Relative length(RL)of RNRs was calculated by dividing the length of RNRs at mid-sagittal T2WI by the height of the vertebral body superior to the stenosis level.The associations of CSA leading to RNRs with RL,disc herniation type,and spondylolisthesis were evaluated.RESULTS Fifty-five patients(42%)with spinal stenosis had RNRs of the cauda equina.The average CSA was 40.99±12.76 mm^2 in patients with RNRs of the cauda equina and 66.83±19.32 mm^2 in patients without RNRs.A significant difference was found between the two groups for CSA values(P<0.001).Using a cut-off value of 55.22 mm^2 for RNRs of the cauda equina,sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value(PPV),and negative predictive value(NPV)values of 96.4%,96.1%,89.4%,and 98.7%were obtained,respectively.RL was 3.39±1.31(range:0.93-6.01).When the extension of RNRs into the superior and/or inferior of the spinal canal stenosis level was evaluated,it was superior in 54.5%,both superior and inferior in 32.8%,and inferior in 12.7%.At stenosis levels leading to RNRs of the cauda equina,29 disc herniations with soft margins and 26 with sharp margins were detected.Disc herniation type and spondylolisthesis had no significant relationship with RL or CSA of the dural sac with stenotic levels(P>0.05).As the CSA of the dural sac decreased,the incidence of RNRs observed at the superior of the stenosis level increased(P<0.001).CONCLUSION RNRs of the cauda equina are frequently observed in patients with spinal stenosis.When the CSA of the dural sac is<55 mm^2,lumbar MRIs should be carefully examined for this condition. | Erkan Gökçe Murat Beyhan | 2021 | World Journal of Radiology2021,13,1: | 2 |
| 7 | Syringaldehyde exerts neuroprotective effect on cerebral ischemia injury in rats through anti-oxidative and anti-apoptotic properties显示文摘There are few studies on the neuroprotective effects of syringaldehyde in a rat model of cerebral ischemia. The study aimed to elucidate the mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective effects of syringaldehyde on ischemic brain cells. Rat models of cerebral ischemia were intraperitoneally administered syringaldehyde. At 6 and 24 hours after syringaldehyde administration, cell damage in the brain of cerebral ischemia rats was obviously reduced, superoxide dismutase activity and nuclear respiratory factor 1 expression in the brain tissue were markedly increased, malondiadehyde level was obviously decreased, apoptosis-related cysteine peptidase caspase-3 and-9 immunoreactivity was obviously decreased, and neurological function was markedly improved.
