| 2 | Comparative assessment of clinical profile and outcomes after primary percutaneous coronary intervention in young patients with single vs multivessel disease显示文摘BACKGROUND Even though percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)improved the survival of patients with acute myocardial infarction,still multivessel coronary artery disease remains an important factor burdening prognosis and it is being associated with a worse prognosis compared to single-vessel disease(SVD).AIM To compare the clinical profile and outcomes after the primary PCI in young patients with SVD vs multivessel disease(MVD).METHODS The retrospective cohort of patients were divided into two groups:SVD and MVD group.The study population consisted of both male and female young(≤45 years)patients presented with ST-elevation myocardial infarction(STEMI)at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Disease,Karachi,Pakistan and undergone primary PCI from 1 st July 2017 to 31 st March 2018.Pre and postprocedure management of the patients was as per the guidelines and institutional protocols.RESULTS A total of 571 patients with STEMI,≤45 years were stratified into two groups by the number of vessels involved,342(59.9%)with SVD and 229(40.1%)with MVD.The average age of these patients was 39.04±4.86 years.A lower prevalence of hypertension and diabetes was observed in SVD as compare to MVD group(25.1%vs 38%,P<0.01;11.7%vs 27.5%,P<0.001)respectively.While,smoking was more prevalent among the SVD group as compare to MVD group(36.3%vs 28.4%,P=0.05).The high-C Lesion was observed in a significantly higher number of younger patients with MVD as compared to SVD group(48.8%vs 39.2%,P=0.021).Post-procedure thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade was found to be not associated with the number of diseased vessels with a P value of 0.426 and thrombolysis in myocardial infarction flow grade III was observed in 98%vs 96.5%of the patients is SVD vs MVD group.CONCLUSION The MVD comprised of around 40%of the young patients presented with STEMI.Also,this study shows that diabetes and hypertension have a certain role in the pathogenesis of multivessel diseases,therefore,preventive measures for diabetes and hypertension can be effective strategies in reducing the burden of premature STEMI. | Atif Sher Muhammad Tariq Ashraf Ayaz Mir Syed Alishan Faiza Farooq Ali Ammar Musa Karim Syed Nadeem Hassan Rizvi Tahir Saghir Jawaid Akbar Sial Naveed Ullah Khan | 2020 | World Journal of Cardiology2020,12,4: | 1 |
| 3 | Long-term manure application increased soil organic carbon and nitrogen mineralization through accumulation of unprotected and physically protected carbon fractions显示文摘Soil organic carbon(SOC)and nitrogen(N)mineralization are important biogeochemical processes associated with soil fertility.These processes are influenced by physically,chemically,and biologically stabilized SOC fractions,the mechanisms of which are not well known.The present study was conducted to evaluate the combined effect of manure and mineral fertilizers on the contents of SOC fractions to promote the mineralization of SOC and N.Treatments included:i)no fertilizer control(CK);ii)a combination of mineral N,phosphorus,and potassium fertilizers(NPK);iii)manure alone(M);iv)manure combined with NPK(MNPK);and v)a high dose of manure combined with NPK(hMNPK).The combined uses of manure and mineral fertilizers(MNPK and hMNPK)enhanced the accumulation of the unprotected coarse particulate organic carbon(C)fraction(cPOC)by 44%-72%compared to CK.Manure applications(M,MNPK and hMNPK)enhanced physically microaggregate-protected organic C(μagg),physicochemically protected organic C within the microaggregate-derived silt(μsilt)fraction(H-μsilt),and physicobiochemically protected organic C within theμsilt fraction(NH-μsilt)by 30%-56%,62%-150%,and 27%-51%,respectively.In contrast,all chemically and biochemically protected SOC fractions showed a minor response to manure application.Accumulation of cPOC,μagg,H-μsilt,and physicochemically protected organic C within the microaggregate-derived clay fraction(H-μclay)significantly contributed to the mineralization of SOC and N,resulting in a significant increase in rice grain yield with long-term manure application.In summary,long-term combined use of manure and mineral fertilizers improved SOC accumulation in unprotected and physically protected fractions,which enhanced SOC and N mineralization and benefited soil productivity in a rice-wheat cropping system. | Muhammad Nadeem ASHRAF Cheng HU Xiangru XU Tariq AZIZ Lei WU Muhammad Ahmed WAQAS Muhammad FAROOQ Xu HU Wenju ZHANG Minggang XU | 2023 | Pedosphere2023,33,2: | 0 |
| 4 | Complex Decision Modeling Framework with Fairly Operators and Quaternion Numbers under Intuitionistic Fuzzy Rough Context显示文摘The main goal of informal computing is to overcome the limitations of hypersensitivity to defects and uncertainty while maintaining a balance between high accuracy,accessibility,and cost-effectiveness.This paper investigates the potential applications of intuitionistic fuzzy sets(IFS)with rough sets in the context of sparse data.When it comes to capture uncertain information emanating fromboth upper and lower approximations,these intuitionistic fuzzy rough numbers(IFRNs)are superior to intuitionistic fuzzy sets and pythagorean fuzzy sets,respectively.We use rough sets in conjunction with IFSs to develop several fairly aggregation operators and analyze their underlying properties.We present numerous impartial laws that incorporate the idea of proportionate dispersion in order to ensure that the membership and non-membership activities of IFRNs are treated equally within these principles.These operations lead to the development of the intuitionistic fuzzy rough weighted fairly aggregation operator(IFRWFA)and intuitionistic fuzzy rough ordered weighted fairly aggregation operator(IFRFOWA).These operators successfully adjust to membership and non-membership categories with fairness and subtlety.We highlight the unique qualities of these suggested aggregation operators and investigate their use in the multiattribute decision-making field.We use the intuitionistic fuzzy rough environment’s architecture to create a novel strategy in situation involving several decision-makers and non-weighted data.Additionally,we developed a novel technique by combining the IFSs with quaternion numbers.We establish a unique connection between alternatives and qualities by using intuitionistic fuzzy quaternion numbers(IFQNs).With the help of this framework,we can simulate uncertainty in real-world situations and address a number of decision-making problems.Using the examples we have released,we offer a sophisticated and systematically constructed illustrative scenario that is intricately woven with the complexity ofmedical evaluation in order to thoroughly assess the relevance and efficacy of the suggested methodology. | Nadeem Salamat Muhammad Kamran Shahzaib Ashraf Manal Elzain Mohammed Abdulla Rashad Ismail Mohammed M.Al-Shamiri | 2024 | Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2024,139,5: | 0 |
| 5 | Dataset of Large Gathering Images for Person Identification and Tracking显示文摘This paper presents a large gathering dataset of images extracted from publicly filmed videos by 24 cameras installed on the premises of Masjid Al-Nabvi,Madinah,Saudi Arabia.This dataset consists of raw and processed images reflecting a highly challenging and unconstraint environment.The methodology for building the dataset consists of four core phases;that include acquisition of videos,extraction of frames,localization of face regions,and cropping and resizing of detected face regions.The raw images in the dataset consist of a total of 4613 frames obtained fromvideo sequences.The processed images in the dataset consist of the face regions of 250 persons extracted from raw data images to ensure the authenticity of the presented data.The dataset further consists of 8 images corresponding to each of the 250 subjects(persons)for a total of 2000 images.It portrays a highly unconstrained and challenging environment with human faces of varying sizes and pixel quality(resolution).Since the face regions in video sequences are severely degraded due to various unavoidable factors,it can be used as a benchmark to test and evaluate face detection and recognition algorithms for research purposes.We have also gathered and displayed records of the presence of subjects who appear in presented frames;in a temporal context.This can also be used as a temporal benchmark for tracking,finding persons,activity monitoring,and crowd counting in large crowd scenarios. | Adnan Nadeem Amir Mehmood Kashif Rizwan Muhammad Ashraf Nauman Qadeer Ali Alzahrani Qammer H.Abbasi Fazal Noor Majed Alhaisoni Nadeem Mahmood | 2023 | Computers, Materials & Continua2023,,3: | 0 |
| 6 | Magnitude,direction,and drivers of rhizosphere effect on soil nitrogen and phosphorus in global agroecosystem显示文摘The rhizosphere is the most active soil area for material transformation and energy flow of soil,root,and microorganism,which plays an important role in soil biochemical cycling.Although the rhizospheric nitrogen(N)and phosphorous(P)were easily disturbed in the agroecosystem,the effects of rhizosphere on the dynamics of soil N and P cycling have not yet been systematically quantified globally.We summarized the magnitude,direction,and driving forces of rhizosphere effects on agroecosystem's N and P dynamics by 1063 observations and 15 variables from 122 literature.Rhizosphere effects increased available N(AN,9%),available P(AP,11%),and total P(TP,5%),and decreased nitrate N(NO_(3)-N,18%)and ammonia N(NH_(4)-N,16%).The effect of rhizosphere on total N(TN)was not significant.These effects improved AN in tropical(12%)and subtropical(14%)regions.The effect of rhizosphere on TP was greater under subtropical conditions than in other climates.The most substantial effects of the rhizosphere on TP and AP were observed under humid conditions.Rhizosphere effects increased AN and AP in vegetables more than in other crop systems.Application of N>30o kg ha^(-1) had the most significant and positive rhizosphere effects on TN and AN.P application of 100-150 kg ha^(-1) had the greatest rhizosphere effects on TP and AP.These effects also improved the microbial(biomass N and P)and enzymatic aspects(urease,acid phosphatase,and alkaline phosphatase)of soil P and N cycling.Structural equation modeling suggested that aridity indices,fertilizer application rate,soil pH,microbial biomass,and soil enzymes strongly influence the magnitude and direction of the rhizosphere's effect on the P and N cycles.Overall,these findings are critical for improving soil nutrient utilization efficiency and modeling nutrient cycling in the rhizosphereforagricultural systems. | Andong Cai Shengnan Tang Muhammad Ahmed Waqas Bin Wang Di Tian Yang Zhang Yu'e Li Muhammad Nadeem Ashraf Tianjing Ren | 2023 | International Soil and Water Conservation Research2023,11,3: | 0 |
