1Stress Corrosion Cracking of X80 Steel in the Presence of Sulfate-reducing Bacteria显示文摘The systematic laboratory studies on the roles of sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB) in the stress corrosion cracking(SCC) susceptibility of X80 steel subjected to cathodic potential have been conducted in a nearneutral pH soil solution by slow strain rate tests.The cathodic potential and SRB increase individually the SCC susceptibility of the steel in the soil solution.The positive role of the SRB activities in SCC susceptibility depends on the prolongation of pre-incubation time,and the SCC susceptibility of the steel increases under more negative potentials.What's more,the applied potentials and the presence of SRB work together in promoting the SCC susceptibility of the steel.But,the combined action becomes limited with decreasing cathodic potentials.The relationships between the plasticity loss and the permeable hydrogen concentration were established for the steel in the soil solution,regardless of under open circuit potential or cathodic potentials,in both the sterile and SRB inoculated conditions.The relationships are practically significant for the selection of safe cathodic protection(CP) potentials in the presence of SRB in soil environment.Tangqing Wu Maocheng Yan Dechun Zeng Jin Xu Cheng Sun Changkun Yu Wei Ke 2015Journal of Materials Science & Technology2015,31,4:11
2Microbial corrosion resistance of a novel Cu-bearing pipeline steel显示文摘Microbiologically influenced corrosion(MIC) is becoming a serious problem for buried pipelines. Developing environmentally friendly strategies for MIC control is increasingly urgent in oil/gas pipeline industry.Copper(Cu) in steels can not only provide aging precipitation strengthening, but also kill bacterium,offering a special biofunction to steels. Based on the chemical composition of traditional X80 pipeline steel, two Cu-bearing pipeline steels(1% Cu and 2% Cu) were fabricated in this study. The microstructure,mechanical properties and antibacterial property against sulphate-reducing bacteria(SRB) and Pseudomonas aeruginosa(P. aeruginosa) were studied. It was found that the novel pipeline steel alloyed by 1%Cu exhibited acicular ferrite microstructure with nano-sized Cu-rich precipitates distribution in the matrix, resulting in better mechanical properties than the traditional X80 steel, and showed good MIC resistance as well. The pitting corrosion resistance of 1% Cu steel in as-aged condition was significantly better than that of X80 steel. 3Facile synthesis of MoS_2/graphite intercalated composite with enhanced electrochemical performance for sodium ion battery显示文摘MoS_2 is a promising anode material for sodium ion batteries owing to its two-dimensional layered structure and high specific capacity. But it still exhibits a poor cycle stability and limited rate capability for Na+storage because of its poor electrical conductivity and structural instability. In this work,MoS_2/graphite composite is fabricated by mechanically delaminated and restacked MoS_2 and graphite to form two-dimensional composite layers. The graphite sheets will improve electrical conductivity and prevent the aggregation as well as structure collapse of the MoS_2 layers during charge–discharge process.The MoS_2/graphite composite exhibits excellent Na+storage properties. It delivers a high discharge specific capacity of 358.2 m Ah/g at a current density of 100 m A/g in the first discharge process and with capacity retention of 68.1% after 800 cycles(retains 244 m Ah/g). The average discharge specific capacities retain 250.9 and 225.4 m Ah/g corresponding to the current densities of 100 and 1000 m A/g, showing excellent rate capability. The improved electrochemical performance is attributed to the improved electrical conductivity and structural stability after composition of graphite sheets. 8Enhanced Bio-corrosion Resistance by Cu Alloying in a Micro-alloyed Pipeline Steel显示文摘On the composition base of commercial X65 grade pipeline steels,a Cu modified pipeline steel was designed to show improved resistance to microbially induced corrosion(MIC).The mechanical properties of the Cu-added steel and its corrosion behavior in a soil solution inoculated with sulfate-reducing bacteria(SRB)were investigated in this work.The results demonstrated that Cu-added steel exhibits a good combination of strength and toughness.Cu ions released from the Cu-added steel could effectively kill the SRB attaching on the steel surface,thus evidently decreased the pit depth and diameter of Cu-added steel.Furthermore,during the long-term immersion,the Cu-rich film formed by the enrichment of Cu in the corrosion product layer on the steel surface could also contribute to the improvement of the bio-corrosion resistance of Cu-added steel.Yunpeng Zeng Wei Yan Xianbo Shi Maocheng Yan Yiyin Shan Ke Yang 2022Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,10:1
