| 1 | Rolling-induced microstructure change in Zr_(65)Al_(7.5)Ni_(10)Cu_(12.5)Ag_5 bulk metallic glass显示文摘The microstructures and free-volume evolutions of as-cast and pre-annealed Zr65Al7.5Ni10Cu12.5Ag5 bulk metallic glasses during rolling deformation have been investigated. No phase transformation is detected in the as-cast/rolled specimen. However,the structural stability of the glass against plastic deformation is worse after pre-annealing,indicated by nanocrystallization in preannealed/rolled specimens with large deformation degrees. | 9 | An effector of Erysiphe necator translocates to chloroplasts and plasma membrane to suppress host immunity in grapevine显示文摘The powdery mildew(Erysiphe necator)is a prevalent pathogen hampering grapevine growth in the vineyard.An arsenal of candidate secreted effector proteins(CSEPs)was encoded in the E.necator genome,but it is largely unclear what role CSEPs plays during the E.necator infection.In the present study,we identified a secreted effector CSEP080 of E.necator,which was located in plant chloroplasts and plasma membrane.Transient expressing CSEP080 promotes plant photosynthesis and inhibits INF1-induced cell death in tobacco leaves.We found that CSEP080 was a necessary effector for the E.necator pathogenicity,which interacted with grapevine chloroplast protein VviB6f(cytochrome b6-f complex iron–sulfur subunit),affecting plant photosynthesis.Transient silencing VviB6f increased the plant hydrogen peroxide production,and the plant resistance to powdery mildew.In addition,CSEP080 manipulated the VviPE(pectinesterase)to promote pectin degradation.Our results demonstrated the molecular mechanisms that an effector of E.necator translocates to host chloroplasts and plasma membrane,which suppresses with the grapevine immunity system by targeting the chloroplast protein VviB6f to suppress hydrogen peroxide accumulation and manipulating VviPE to promote pectin degradation. | Bo Mu Zhaolin Teng Ruixin Tang Mengjiao Lu Jinfu Chen Xiangnan Xu Ying-Qiang Wen | 2023 | Horticulture Research2023,10,9: | 0 |
| 10 | Discovery of the Baijifeng impact structure in Tonghua,Jilin,China显示文摘An impact structure 1400 m in diameter,formed by a bolide impact,has been discovered on Baijifeng Mountain in Tonghua City in Northeast China’s Jilin province.The impact structure takes the form of a cirque-shaped depression on the top of the mountain and is located in a basement mainly composed of Proterozoic sandstone and Jurassic granite.A large number of rock fragments composed mainly of sandstone,with a small amount of granite,are distributed on the top of Baijifeng Mountain.Planar deformation features(PDFs)have been found in quartz in the rock and mineral clasts collected from the surface inside the depression.The forms of the PDFs indexed in the quartz include among others,{1013},{1012},and{1011}.The presence of these PDFs provides diagnostic evidence for shock metamorphism and the impact origin of the structure.The impact event took place after the Jurassic Period and probably much later. | Ming Chen Yang Lu Jiahao Ning Wenge Yang Jinfu Shu Ho-kwang Mao | 2023 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2023,8,5: | 0 |
