2Effects of Different Potassium (K) Fertilizer Rates on Yield Formation and Lodging of Rice显示文摘As one of the most important nutrients for plants,potassium(K)has substantial effects on growth and development of crops.Present study was conducted in three different sites in South China in late season in 2019 with the objective to study the effects of different applied amounts of K fertilizer on yield formation and lodging of rice.Four K fertilizer treatments,K_(0):0 kg potassium oxide(K_(2)O)ha^(−1)(control);K_(1):64.20 kg K_(2)O ha^(−1);K_(2):128.55 kg K_(2)O ha^(−1) and K_(3)153.90 kg K_(2)O ha^(−1) were applied in the field experiment.The results showed that K_(2) and K_(3) treatments significantly increased panicle number per unit area,grain number per panicle,seed-setting rate and the grain yield of rice compared with K_(0) treatment.Higher net photosynthetic rates were recorded in K_(2) and K_(3) treatments than K_(0) treatment at tillering stage,heading stage and maturity stage.K fertilizer treatments also increased the chlorophyll content and dry matter accumulation by 6.16–23.52%and 21.32–64.59%compared with K_(0) treatment,respectively.Moreover,the total N and K accumulation in the aboveground tissues of rice significantly increased under K_(2) and K_(3) treatments compared with K_(0) treatment.Furthermore,compared with K_(0) treatment,K fertilizer treatments significantly enhanced the breaking-resistant strength by 40.94–144.24%and reduced the lodging index of rice by 13.14–36.72%.Tantan Zhang Xiaoping He Binglin Chen Longxin He Xiangru Tang 2021Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2021,90,3:1

4Improving anammox activity and reactor start-up speed by using CO_(2)/NaHCO_(3) buffer显示文摘Anammox bacteria grow slowly and can be affected by large pH fluctuations.Using suitable buffers could make the start-up of anammox reactors easy and rapid.In this study,the effects of three kinds of buffers on the nitrogen removal and growth characteristics of anammox sludge were investigated.Reactors with CO_(2)/NaHCO_(3)buffer solution(CCBS)performed the best in nitrogen removal,while 4-(2-hydroxyerhyl)piperazine-1-ethanesulfonic acid(HEPES)and phosphate buffer solution(PBS)inhibited the anammox activity.Reactors with 50 mmol/L CCBS could start up in 20 days,showing the specific anammox activity and anammox activity of 1.01±0.10 gN/(gVSS·day)and 0.83±0.06 kgN/(m^(3)·day),respectively.Candidatus Kuenenia was the dominant anammox bacteria,with a relative abundance of 71.8%.Notably,anammox reactors could also start quickly by using 50 mmol/L CCBS under nonstrict anaerobic conditions.These findings are meaningful for the quick start-up of engineered anammox reactors and prompt enrichment of anammox bacteria.Shaoan Cheng Huahua Li Xinyuan He Hua Chen Longxin Li 2024Journal of Environmental Sciences2024,,5:0
5An electrochromic coordination nanosheet for robust CO_(2) photoreduction via ligand-based electron transfer显示文摘A coordination nanosheet composed of[Fe(tpy)_(2)]^(2+)(tpy=2,2':6',2''-terpyridine)units,showing reversible electrochromism at the ligand-based cathodic potential,has been prepared through a liquid/liquid interfacial synthesis.The noble metal-free nanosheet exhibited a CO evolution rate of 114.3 mmol·g−1·h−1 with the selectivity up to 99.3%under visible light irradiation in the presence of water,which is in the front rank of heterogeneous catalysis for CO_(2) photoreduction.Such robust photocatalytic performance is due to efficient ligand-based electron transfer through long-livedπradical anion tpy·−with a lifetime more than 25 min,as evidenced by in situ electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)and ultraviolet-visible-near infrared(UV-vis-NIR)spectroscopy studies.Fe(II)cation in[Fe(tpy)_(2)]^(2+)mainly contributes to enhancing reduction potentials of ligand and stabilizingπradical anion tpy·−.This ligand-based electron transfer with the aid of metal cation represents a promising strategy for selective CO_(2) photoreduction,especially towards gaining CO from CO_(2).Longxin Chen Ting Liu Duobin Chao 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:0
6Auto-optimization of production-injection rate for reservoirs with strong natural aquifer at ultra-high water cut stage显示文摘Based on the optimal control theory and taking the production law of reservoirs with strong natural aquifer as the basic constraint, a mathematical model of liquid production for such reservoirs in the later stage of development is established. The model is solved by improved simultaneous perturbation stochastic approximation algorithm(SPSA), and an automatic optimization software for liquid production is developed. This model avoids the disadvantage of traditional optimization methods that only focus on the maximum value of mathematics but ignore the production law of oilfield. It has the advantages of high efficiency of calculation, short period and automatic optimization. It can satisfy the automatic optimization of liquid production in later stage of oilfield development. 7Ginsenoside Rc:A potential intervention agent for metabolic syndrome显示文摘Ginsenoside Rc,a dammarane-type tetracyclic triterpenoid saponin primarily derived from Panax ginseng,has garnered significant attention due to its diverse pharmacological properties.This review outlined the sources,putative biosynthetic pathways,extraction,and quantification techniques,as well as the pharmacokinetic properties of ginsenoside Rc.Furthermore,this study explored the pharmacological effects of ginsenoside Rc against metabolic syndrome(MetS)across various phenotypes including obesity,diabetes,atherosclerosis,non-alcoholic fatty liver disease,and osteoarthritis.It also highlighted the impact of ginsenoside Rc on multiple associated signaling molecules.In conclusion,the anti-MetS effect of ginsenoside Rc is characterized by its influence on multiple organs,multiple targets,and multiple ways.Although clinical investigations regarding the effects of ginsenoside Rc on MetS are limited,its proven safety and tolerability suggest its potential as an effective treatment option.Zhengjie Lu Tongyun Mao Kaiqi Chen Longxin Chai Yongguo Dai Kexin Liu 2023Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis2023,13,12:0
