| 1 | Wavelength and oscillator strength of dipole transition 1s^22p—1s^2nd for Mn^(22+) ion显示文摘The transition energies, wavelengths and dipole oscillator strengths of 1s22p-1s2nd (3≤n≤9) for Mn22+ ion are calculated. The fine structure splittings of 1s2nd (n≤9) states for this ion are also evaluated. In calculating energy, the higher-order relativistic contribution is estimated under a hydrogenic approximation. The quantum defect of Rydberg series 1s2nd is determined according to the quantum defect theory. | 2 | Prevalence and clinical significance of pathogenic germline BRCA1/2 mutations in Chinese non-small cell lung cancer patients显示文摘Objective: Germline alterations in the breast cancer susceptibility genes type 1 and 2, BRCA1 and BRCA2, predispose individuals to hereditary cancers, including breast, ovarian, prostate, pancreatic, and stomach cancers.Accumulating evidence suggests inherited genetic susceptibility to lung cancer.The present study aimed to survey the prevalence of pathogenic germline BRCA mutations(gBRCAm) and explore the potential association between gBRCAm and disease onset in Chinese advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) patients.Methods: A total of 6,220 NSCLC patients were screened using capture-based ultra-deep targeted sequencing to identify patients harboring germline BRCA1/2 mutations.Results: Out of the 6,220 patients screened, 1.03%(64/6,220) of the patients harbored the pathogenic gB RCAm, with BRCA2 mutations being the most predominant mutations(49/64, 76.5%).Patients who developed NSCLC before 50 years of age were more likely to carry gBRCAm(P = 0.036).Among the patients harboring classic lung cancer driver mutations, those with concurrent gBRCAm were significantly younger than those harboring the wild-type gBRCA(P = 0.029).By contrast, the age of patients with or without concurrent gBRCAm was comparable to those of patients without the driver mutations(P = 0.972).In addition, we identified EGFR-mutant patients with concurrent gBRCAm who showed comparable progression-free survival but significantly longer overall survival(P = 0.002) compared to EGFR-mutant patients with wild-type germline BRCA.Conclusions: Overall, our study is the largest survey of the prevalence of pathogenic gBRCAm in advanced Chinese NSCLC patients.Results suggested a lack of association between germline BRCA status and treatment outcome of EGFR-TKI.In addition,results showed a positive correlation between pathogenic gB RCAm and an early onset of NSCLC. | Xingsheng Hu Dongyong Yang Yalun Li Li Li Yan Wang Peng Chen Song Xu Xingxiang Pu Wei Zhu Pengbo Deng Junyi Ye Hanhan Zhang Analyn Lizaso Hao Liu Xinru Mao Hai Huang Qian Chu Chengping Hu | 2019 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,3: | 4 |

| 4 | Differential efficiency of a begomovirus to cross the midgut of different species of whiteflies results in variation of virus transmission by the vectors显示文摘Begomoviruses are important crop viral disease agents, and they are transmitted by whiteflies of the Bemisia tabaci complex.Although the transmission of begomoviruses by whiteflies has been studied for many years, the mechanisms governing differential transmission of begomoviruses by different species of the Bemisia tabaci complex remain largely unknown. Here we firstly compared the transmission efficiency of tobacco curly shoot virus(TbCSV) by four species of the B. tabaci complex and found that Asia II 1 transmitted this virus with the highest efficiency, whereas MEAM1 transmitted it with the lowest. Next, by performing quantitative analysis of virus and immune-fluorescence detection, we found that the efficiency of TbCSV to cross the midgut wall was higher in Asia II 1 than in MEAM1. Finally, we set the quantities of virions in the haemolymph to the same level in Asia II 1 and MEAM1 via injection and then compared their capacity in TbCSV transmission, and found that the difference in TbCSV transmission between them became smaller. | 8 | Redox responsive nanoparticle encapsulating black phosphorus quantum dots for cancer theranostics显示文摘Effective cancer treatment puts high demands for cancer theranostics.For cancer diagnostics,optical coherence tomography(OCT)technology(including photothermal optical coherence tomography(PT-OCT))has been widely investigated since it induces changes in optical phase transitions in tissue through environmental changes(such as temperature change for PT-OCT).In this report,redox responsive nanoparticle encapsulating black phosphorus quantum dots was developed as a robust PT-OCT agent.Briefly,black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs)are incorporated into cysteine-based poly-(disulfide amide)(Cys-PDSA)to form stable and biodegradable nanoagent.The excellent photothermal feature allows BPQD/Cys-PDSA nanoparticles(NPs)as a novel contrast agent for high-resolution PT-OCT bioimaging.The Cys-PDSA can rapidly respond to glutathione and effectively release BPQDs and drugs in vitro and in vivo.And the obtained NPs exhibit excellent near-infrared(NIR)photothermal transduction efficiency and drug delivery capacity that can serve as novel therapeutic platform,with very low chemo drug dosage and side effects.Both of the polymer and BPQD are degradable,indicating this platform is a rare PT-OCT agent that is completely biodegradable.Overall,our research highlights a biodegradable and biocompatible black phosphorus-based nanoagent for both cancer diagnosis and therapy. | Haolin Chen Zhiming Liu Bo Wei Jun Huang Xinru You Jingyang Zhang Zhiling Yuan Zhilie Tang Zhouyi Guo Jun Wu | 2021 | Bioactive Materials2021,6,3: | 1 |
| 9 | Exploring pathogenesis in subjects with subjective Tinnitus having kidney deficiency pattern in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine based on serum metabolic profiles显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the metabolic pathogenesis in subjects with subjective tinnitus(ST)having kidney deficiency pattern(KDP)(ST/KDP) in terms of Traditional Chinese Medicine.METHODS: Three groups of subjects, including healthy individuals, subjects with ST/KDP, and subjects who were healthy initially and then developed ST/KDP one year later(healthy → ST/KDP),were recruited for this study. Serum metabolic profiles of all subjects were analyzed using ultra-performance liquid chromatography coupled with quadruple-time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The metabolic characteristics of the ST/KDP subjects were determined, and the corresponding biomarkers were predicted. The metabolomics data from the healthy → ST/KDP subjects were collected for further verification.RESULTS: Twelve metabolites in the ST/KDP subjects were different from those of the healthy control subjects. Of these metabolites, according to the prediction, except for octanoic acid, other metabolites might characterize ST/KDP. Ten metabolites at the outcome ST/KDP stage were different from those at the initial(control) stage. Through the comparison of these metabolites with the predicted metabolites, five common metabolites, including upregulated glutamate, serotonin, oroticacid and 8-oxoguanine, as well as downregulated taurine, were found.
