| 1 | Deep reinforcement learning-based joint task offloading and bandwidth allocation for multi-user mobile edge computing显示文摘The rapid growth of mobile internet services has yielded a variety of computation-intensive applications such as virtual/augmented reality. Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), which enables mobile terminals to offload computation tasks to servers located at the edge of the cellular networks, has been considered as an efficient approach to relieve the heavy computational burdens and realize an efficient computation offloading. Driven by the consequent requirement for proper resource allocations for computation offloading via MEC, in this paper, we propose a Deep-Q Network (DQN) based task offloading and resource allocation algorithm for the MEC. Specifically, we consider a MEC system in which every mobile terminal has multiple tasks offloaded to the edge server and design a joint task offloading decision and bandwidth allocation optimization to minimize the overall offloading cost in terms of energy cost, computation cost, and delay cost. Although the proposed optimization problem is a mixed integer nonlinear programming in nature, we exploit an emerging DQN technique to solve it. | 6 | Simultaneous regulation of cations and anions in an electrolyte for high-capacity, high-stability aqueous zinc–vanadium batteries显示文摘Safe,inexpensive aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)are regarded as promising energy storage devices.However,they still face issues,including dissolution and collapse of the cathode as well as H_(2)evolution and the growth of Zn dendrites on the Zn anode.Herein,we simultaneously regulate the cations and anions in the electrolyte for high-capacity,high-stability aqueous zinc–vanadium(Zn–V)batteries based on a bimetallic cation-doped Na_(0.33)K_(0.1)V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O cathode.We demonstrate that Na^(+) cations suppress cathode dissolution and restrain Zn dendrite growth on the anode via an electrostatic shield effect.We also illustrate that ClO_(4)^(-) anions participate in energy storage at the cathode and are reduced to Cl^(-),generating a protective layer on the Zn anode surface and providing a stable interface to decrease Zn dendrites and H_(2)evolution during long-term cycling.When Na^(+) and ClO_(4)^(-) are introduced into an aqueous ZnSO_(4) electrolyte,a Zn/Zn symmetric cell shows durable and reversible Zn stripping/plating for 1500 h at a current density of 1 mA cm^(-2) and with an area capacity of 1 mAh cm^(-2).Zn/Na_(0.33)K_(0.1)V_(2)O_(5)·nH_(2)O full batteries exhibit a high capacity of 600 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1) and long-term cycling performance for 5000 cycles,with a capacity of 200 mAh g^(-1) at 20 Ag^(-1). | Ziqing Wang Miao Zhou Liping Qin Minghui Chen Zixian Chen Shan Guo Liangbing Wang Guozhao Fang Shuquan Liang | 2022 | eScience2022,2,2: | 8 |

| 9 | Characteristics and factors that influenced damage to dams in the M_s 8.0 Wenchuan earthquake显示文摘Based on raw data from dams damaged in the Wenchuan earthquake, including many that were severely damaged, characteristics and factors that influenced the damage are discussed in this paper. Findings from this study include: severely damaged dams were densely distributed along the seismologic fault; small dams, especially small earth-rock dams, had the most serious damage that was caused by a variety of factors; the most serious damage was caused by seismic waves; damage was aggregated by aftershocks; and the extent of the damage patterns increased with the seismic intensity. Damage patterns varied in different intensity zones and cracking was the most common type of damage. Most of the dams had a good base with relatively high bearing capacity, and the walls of the earth-rock dams were mostly of clay soil. This type of base and body material mitigated some of the damage to dams. Reservoir maintenance and other factors also have a significant impact on the seismic safety of the dam. | 10 | Effect of addition of Al-Si eutectic alloy on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-12wt%Li alloy显示文摘Mg-12 Li, Mg-12 Li-3(Al-Si), Mg-12 Li-7(Al-Si) and Mg-12 Li-9(Al-Si) alloys(all in wt%) were fabricated by high frequency vacuum induction melting in a water cooled copper crucible. After subsequently hotrolling and annealing, their microstructure and mechanical properties were investigated. Experimental results show that mechanical properties of Mg-12 Li alloy were significantly improved by the addition of Al-Si eutectic alloy. | 11 | The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. | 19 | Characteristics of pressure fluctuations and fine coal preparation in gas-vibro fluidized bed显示文摘To improve the separation efficiency of air dense medium fluidized beds for dry coal preparation,a gasvibro fluidized bed has been proposed in which magnetic powder is used as the heavy medium.Pressure fluctuations in the gas-vibro fluidized bed were investigated using time-and frequency-domain analysis methods.The relationship between pressure fluctuations,bubble behavior,and separation efficiency was established.The low amplitude of the standard deviation,the power spectral density(PSD),the incoherent-output PSD,and the high amplitude of the coherent-output PSD,which corresponds to the bubble behavior in the bed,were improved for coal preparation.The coal ash content was reduced from 42.55% to 16.54% by using the gas-vibro fluidized bed. | Liang Dong Yuemin Zhao Liping Peng Jie Zhao Zhenfu Luo Qingxia Liu Chenlong Duan | 2015 | Particuology2015,13,4: | 4 |
