1Climate change, water resources and sustainable development in the arid and semi-arid lands of Central Asia in the past 30 years显示文摘The countries of Central Asia are collectively known as the five '-stans': Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. In recent times, the Central Asian region has been affected by the shrinkage of the Aral Sea, widespread desertification, soil salinization, biodiversity loss, frequent sand storms, and many other ecological disasters. This paper is a review article based upon the collection, identification and collation of previous studies of environmental changes and regional developments in Central Asia in the past 30 years. Most recent studies have reached a consensus that the temperature rise in Central Asia is occurring faster than the global average. This warming trend will not only result in a higher evaporation in the basin oases, but also to a significant retreat of glaciers in the mountainous areas. Water is the key to sustainable development in the arid and semi-arid regions in Central Asia. The uneven distribution, over consumption, and pollution of water resources in Central Asia have caused severe water supply problems, which have been affecting regional harmony and development for the past 30 years. The widespread and significant land use changes in the 1990 s could be used to improve our understanding of natural variability and human interaction in the region. There has been a positive trend of trans-border cooperation among the Central Asian countries in recent years. International attention has grown and research projects have been initiated to provide water and ecosystem protection in Central Asia. However, the agreements that have been reached might not be able to deliver practical action in time to prevent severe ecological disasters. Water management should be based on hydrographic borders and ministries should be able to make timely decisions without political intervention. Fully integrated management of water resources, land use and industrial development is essential in Central Asia. 2Road Impacts on Spatial Patterns of Land Use and Landscape Fragmentation in Three Parallel Rivers Region,Yunnan Province,China显示文摘The structure and function of network is a central issue in landscape ecology.Road networks with hierarchical structure are crucial for understanding landscape dynamics.In this study,we compared the distribution of national road,provincial road,county road and rural road in the Three Parallel Rivers Region(TPRR)in Yunnan Province of China,and estimated the effect of roads(and other factors)on the spatial patterns of land use and land cover with logistic regression.In addition,we analyzed the land use and land cover change(LUCC)and landscape fragmentation in 1989–2005 along a buffer zone of the primary traffic corridor,national road G214.The results showed that,county and rural roads had much higher percentage of length extending into more natural habitats at higher elevation and steeper slope,compared with the higher level roads in this region.While the distributions of natural land cover types were dominated by environmental factors,human land use types i.e.,building land and farmland types were significantly related with roads,linking more closely with lower level roads.The LUCC dynamics(1989–2005)of the G214 buffer zone showed a general trend of land transformation from conifer forests and valley arid shrubs to building land and farmland,and from ice and snow to alpine shrubs and forests.With the length of G214 unchanged during the time,the overall landscape pattern changed little in the buffer zone,but habitat fragmentation and area decrease had occurred for the natural vegetation types,in contrast to patch mergence and expansion of human land use types,and landscape fragmentation was intensified above 2500 m a.s.l.but declined below the elevation.The results indicated the dynamics of landscape composition and patch type level distribution in spite of the stability of the overall landscape pattern,and implied the potential role of roads,especially the low level roads on landscape changes.LIANG Jun LIU Ye YING Lingxiao LI Peng XU Yue SHEN Zehao 2014Chinese Geographical Science2014,24,1:8

4Femtosecond Laser Thermal Accumulation-Triggered Micro-/Nanostructures with Patternable and Controllable Wettability Towards Liquid Manipulating显示文摘Versatile liquid manipulating surfaces combining patternable and controllable wettability have recently motivated considerable attention owing to their significant advantages in droplet-solid impacting behaviors,microdroplet self-removal,and liquid–liquid interface reaction applications.However,developing a facile and efficient method to fabricate these versatile surfaces remains an enormous challenge.In this paper,a strategy for the fabrication of liquid manipulating surfaces with patternable and controllable wettability on Polyimide(PI)film based on femtosecond laser thermal accumulation engineering is proposed.Because of its controllable micro-/nanostructures and chemical composition through adjusting the local thermal accumulation,the wettability of PI film can be tuned from superhydrophilicity(~3.6°)to superhydrophobicity(~151.6°).Furthermore,three diverse surfaces with patternable and heterogeneous wettability were constructed and various applications were successfully realized,including water transport,droplet arrays,and liquid wells.This work may provide a facile strategy for achieving patternable and controllable wettability efficiently and developing multifunctional liquid steering surfaces.Kai Yin Lingxiao Wang Qinwen Deng Qiaoqiao Huang Jie Jiang Guoqiang Li Jun He 2022Nano-Micro Letters2022,14,6:5
5Blocking of the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction by a novel cyclic peptide inhibitor for cancer immunotherapy显示文摘The interaction of PD-1/PD-L1 allows tumor cells to escape from immune surveillance.Clinical success of the antibody drugs has proven that blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 pathway is a promising strategy for cancer immunotherapy.Here,we developed a cyclic peptide C8 by using Ph.D.-C7 C phage display technology.C8 showed high binding affinity with h PD-1 and could effectively interfere the interaction of PD-1/PD-L1.Furthermore,C8 could stimulate CD8^(+)T cell activation in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs).We also observed that C8 could suppress tumor growth in CT26 and B16-OVA,as well as anti-PD-1 antibody resistant B16 mouse model.CD8^(+)T cells infiltration significantly increased in tumor microenvironment,and IFN-γsecretion by CD8^(+)T cells in draining lymph nodes also increased.Simultaneously,we exploited T cells depletion models and confirmed that C8 exerted anti-tumor effects via activating CD8^(+)T cells dependent manner.The interaction model of C8 with h PD-1 was simulated and confirmed by alanine scanning.In conclusion,C8 shows anti-tumor capability by blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 interaction,and C8 may provide an alternative candidate for cancer immunotherapy.Wenjie Zhai Xiuman Zhou Mingxia Zhai Wanqiong Li Yunhui Ran Yixuan Sun Jiangfeng Du Wenshan Zhao Lingxiao Xing Yuanming Qi Yanfeng Gao 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,4:5
6Reverse Time Migration with Elastodynamic Gaussian Beams显示文摘Elastic migration has been widely paid attention by employing the vector processing of multicomponent seismic data.Ray based elastic Kirchhoff migration has such properties as high flexibility and high efficiency.However,it has failed to solve many problems caused by multipath.On the other hand,elastic reverse-time migration(RTM)based on the two-way wave equation is known to be capable of dealing with these problems,but it is extremely expensive when applied in 3D cases and velocity model building.Based on the elastic Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral,we calculate decoupled backward-continued wavefields by introducing elastic Green functions for P-and S-waves,which is expressed by a summation of elastodynamic Gaussian beams.The PP and polarity-corrected PS images are obtained by calculating the correlation between downward and decoupled backward-continued vector wavefields,where polarity correction is performed by analyzing the relation between the polarization direction of converted PS waves and incident angle on the interface.To a large extent,our method combines the high efficiency of ray-based migration with the high accuracy of wave-equation based reverse-time migration.Application of this method to multicomponent synthetic datasets from the fault model and Marmousi 2 model demonstrates the validity,flexibility and accuracy of the new method.Jianping Huang Maolin Yuan Qing Zhang Lingxiao Jia Zhenchun Li Jiguang Li Shengtian Zhao 2017Journal of Earth Science2017,28,4:4

9Histological and Ultrastructural Features for Proliferation Inhibition by Delivery of Exogenous p27^(Kip1) to Rabbit Models after Glaucoma Filtration Surgery显示文摘Purpose: To investigate postoperative inhibition of cell proliferation in animals treated with exogenous p27Kip1 during an experimental glaucoma filtration surgery (GFS) by histological and ultrastructural examinations. Methods:The primer was designed according to p27Kip1 gene sequence of GenBank..The p27Kip1-expressing adenovirus-mediated Ad-p27 was constructed according to standard techniques..Gene therapy was performed by subconjunctival delivery of Ad-p27,mitomycin C(MMC) and PBS served as controls..Histological and ultastructural changes at surgical sites were observed for 28 days postoperatively. Results: Histologically, evident cellular proliferation induced by Ad-p27 was observed on day 7,.with appreciable filtering cavity. However, thin conjunctival layers were noted, and the number of fibroblasts decreased in the Tenon's capsule on day 14. On day 28, the filtering cavity partially disappeared. The histological features of the animals with MMC delivery were similar to those treated by Ad-p27..In contrast,.in the PBS treatment group, thick conjunctival layers were observed, and the number of goblet cells and fibroblasts, increased markedly..The filtering cavity disappeared at postoperative day 21. Twenty eight day postoperatively,.ultrastructural findings showed that most conjunctival epithelial cells in the Ad-p27 treatment group were under static state,.and that organelles were inactive. The number of goblet cells,.and the secretion of mucin,.were decreased..The amount of fibroblasts also decreased with partial apoptotic cells. The ultrastructural features presented by rabbits with the MMC delivery resembled those treated with Ad-p27. In the PBS treatment group, the number of conjunctival epithelial cells increased; the amount of goblet cells increased as the secretion of mucin was strengthened, and a substantial amount of fibroblasts were observed with active and productive organelles. 10Small changes in the length of diselenide bond-containing linkages exert great influences on the antitumor activity of docetaxel homodimeric prodrug nanoassemblies显示文摘Homodimeric prodrug-based self-assembled nanoparticles,with carrier-free structure and ultrahigh drug loading,is drawing more and more attentions.Homodimeric prodrugs are composed of two drug molecules and a pivotal linkage.The influence of the linkages on the self-assembly,in vivo fate and antitumor activity of homodimeric prodrugs is the focus of research.Herein,three docetaxel(DTX)homodimeric prodrugs are developed using different lengths of diselenide bond-containing linkages.Interestingly,compared with the other two linkages,the longest diselenide bond-containing linkage could facilitate the self-delivery of DTX prodrugs,thus improving the stability,circulation time and tumor targeting of prodrug nanoassemblies.Besides,the extension of linkages reduces the redox-triggered drug release and cytotoxicity of prodrug nanoassemblies in tumor cells.Although the longest diselenide bond-containing prodrug nanoassemblies possessed the lowest cytotoxicity to 4T1 cells,their stable nanostructure maintained intact during circulation and achieve the maximum accumulation of DTX in tumor cells,which finally“turned the table”.Our study illustrates the crucial role of linkages in homodimeric prodrugs,and gives valuable proposal for the development of advanced nano-DDS for cancer treatment.Lingxiao Li Shiyi Zuo Fudan Dong Tian Liu Yanlin Gao Yinxian Yang Xin Wang Jin Sun Bingjun Sun Zhonggui He 2021Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences2021,16,3:3
11Composition and mixing state of water soluble inorganic ions during hazy days in a background region of North China显示文摘Knowledge of haze particles in background areas of North China is limited, although they have been studied well in urban settings. Atmospheric aerosol particles were collected at a background site in the North China Plain during 16–31 January, 2011. Water soluble inorganic ions of PM2.5 and physicochemical characteristics of individual particles on hazy and clean days were measured by Ion Chromatography(IC) and Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM), respectively. Average PM2.5 mass concentration was 50.4±29.9 μg m?3 with 62.5±26.8 μg m?3 on hazy days and 19.9±11.5 μg m?3 on clean days. SO42?, NO3?, and NH4+ with a combined mass concentration of 19.0±11.5 μg m?3 accounted for 69.8%–89.4% of the total water soluble inorganic ions. Size distributions of SO42? and NH4+ showed one unimodal peak at 0.56–1.8 μm on hazy days, whereas NO3? appeared as bimodal peaks at 0.56–1.8 and 5.6–10 μm, respectively. Individual particle analyses showed that the dominant aerosols were a mixture of sulfate, nitrate, and carbonaceous species, which together determine their mixing states. 48-h air mass back trajectories on hazy days suggested that air masses crossed the polluted continental areas(such as Jing-jin-ji region and Shandong province) and entrained ground air pollutants 11–19 hours before reaching the background area. During long-range transport particles undergo ageing and tend to be internally mixed mainly due to condensation in the background atmosphere. 12Role of slip and {10-12} twin on the crystal plasticity in Mg-RE alloy during deformation process at room temperature显示文摘The deformation mechanism of slips and twins has a considerable influence on the plasticity of magnesium alloys. However, the roles of slips and twins in the room-temperature deformation of Mg-rare earth(Mg-RE) alloys with high contents of rare earth elements is rarely investigated. Here, the microstructural evolution and deformation mechanism of an aged Mg-5 Y-2 Nd-3 Sm-0.5 Zr alloy during uniaxial compression at room temperature were systematically investigated using in-situ electron-backscattered diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. The results indicated that in the early stage of deformation, the Mg-RE alloy was mainly controlled by the slip of dislocations in the basal plane and the coordinated c-axis strain of the {10-12} twin. With an increase in the strain, the grain orientation became more suitable for the initiation of pyramidal Ⅱ dislocations in the later stage of deformation;these dominated the deformation mechanism. In the twin evolution of the Mg-RE alloy, there were three types of twin-twin interaction behaviors:(i) single twin variant 'parallel' structure,(ii) single twin variant 'cross' structure, and(iii) multi twin variant 'cross' structure. 13Simultaneous diffusion of cation and anion to access N,S cocoordinated Bi-sites for enhanced CO_(2) electroreduction显示文摘Developing highly active single-atom sites catalysts for electrochemical reduction of CO_(2) is an effective and environmental-friendly strategy to promote carbon-neutral energy cycle and ameliorate global climate issues.Herein,we develop an atomically dispersed N,S co-coordinated bismuth atom sites catalyst(Bi-SAs-NS/C)via a cation and anion simultaneous diffusion strategy for electrocatalytic CO_(2) reduction.In this strategy,the bonded Bi cation and S anion are simultaneously diffused into the nitrogen-doped carbon layer in the form of Bi2S3.Then Bi is captured by the abundant N-rich vacancies and S is bonded with carbons.support at high temperature,formed the N,S co-coordinated Bi sites.Benefiting from the simultaneous diffusion of Bi and S,different electronegative N and S can be effectively co-coordinated with Bi,forming the uniform Bi-N_(3)S/C sites.The synthesized.Bi-SAs-NS/C exhibits a high selectivity towards CO with over 88%Faradaic efficiency in a wide potential range,and achieves a maximum FE_(CO)of 98.3%at-0.8 V vs.RHE with a current density of 10.24 mA·cm^(-2),which can keep constant with negligible degradation in 24 h continuous electrolysis.Experimental results and theoretical calculations reveal that the significantly improved catalytic performance of Bi-SAs-NS/C than Bi-SAs-N/C is ascribed to the replacement of one coordinated-N with low electronegative S in Bi-N_(4)C center,which can greatly reduce the energy barrier of the intermediate formation in rate-limiting step and increase the reaction kinetics.This work provides an effective strategy for rationally designing highly active single-atom sites;catalysts for efficient electrocatalysis with optimized electronic structure.Zhiyuan Wang Chun Wang Yidong Hu Shuai Yang Jia Yang Wenxing Chen Huang Zhou Fangyao Zhou Lingxiao Wang Junyi Du Yafei Li Yuen Wu 2021Nano Research2021,14,8:2
14Prediction of rock-burst-threatened areas in an island coal face and its prevention:A case study显示文摘The island coal face arises in coal mines with the purpose of preventing gas explosion or maintaining the balance between mining and tunneling. However, its particular stress conditions in the surrounding rock may increase the difficulty of stress control in the coal face and in its mining roadways, especially when the coal seam, the roof, and the floor have rock-burst propensities. The high energy accumulated in the island coal face and in its roof and floor will intensify rock-burst propensity or even induce rock burst,which further result in great casualties and financial losses. Taking island coal face 2321 in Jinqiao coal mine as a case, we propose a method for the prediction of rock-burst-threatened areas in an island coal face with weak rock-burst propensity. Based on the analysis of the movement of the overlying roof and characteristics of stress distribution, this method combined numerical simulation with drilling bits to ensure the prediction accuracy. The effects of coal pillars with different widths on the mitigation of stress concentration in the coal face and on the prevention of rock burst are analyzed together with the mechanism behind. 15Structural evolution of plasma sprayed amorphous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12) electrode and ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte during electrochemical cycle of quasi-solid-state lithium battery显示文摘A quasi-solid-state lithium battery is assembled by plasma sprayed amorphous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12) to provide the outstanding electrochemical stability and better normal interface contact.Scanning Electron Microscope(SEM),Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy(STEM),Transmission Electron Microscopy(TEM),and Energy Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS)were used to analyze the structural evolution and performance of plasma sprayed amorphous LTO electrode and ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte before and after electrochemical experiments.By comparing the electrochemical performance of the amorphous LTO electrode and the traditional LTO electrode,the electrochemical behavior of different electrodes is studied.The results show that plasma spraying can prepare an amorphous LTO electrode coating of about 8μm.After 200 electrochemical cycles,the structure of the electrode evolved,and the inside of the electrode fractured and cracks expanded,because of recrystallization at the interface between the rich fluorine compounds and the amorphous LTO electrode.Similarly,the ceramic/polymer composite electrolyte has undergone structural evolution after 200 test cycles.The electrochemical cycle results show that the cycle stability,capacity retention rate,coulomb efficiency,and internal impedance of amorphous LTO electrode are better than traditional LTO electrode.This innovative and facile quasi-solid-state strategy is aimed to promote the intrinsic safety and stability of working lithium battery,shedding light on the development of next-generation high-performance solid-state lithium batteries.Xi Wu Xinghua Liang Xiaofeng Zhang Lingxiao Lan Suo Li Qixin Gai 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,2:2

17Resequencing of sweetpotato germplasm resources reveals key loci associated with multiple agronomic traits显示文摘Sweetpotato is an important crop that exhibits hexaploidy and high heterozygosity,which limits gene mining for important agronomic traits.Here,314 sweetpotato germplasm resources were deeply resequenced,and 4599509 SNPs and 846654 InDels were generated,among which 196124 SNPs were nonsynonymous and 9690 InDels were frameshifted.Based on the Indels,genome-wide marker primers were designed,and 3219 of 40366 primer pairs were selected to construct the core InDel marker set.The molecular ID of 104 sweetpotato samples verified the availability of these primers.The sweetpotato population structures were then assessed through multiple approaches using SNPs,and diverse approaches demonstrated that population stratification was not obvious for most Chinese germplasm resources.As many as 20 important agronomic traits were evaluated,and a genome-wide association study was conducted on these traits.A total of 19 high-confidence loci were detected in both models.These loci included several candidate genes,such as IbMYB1,IbZEP1,and IbYABBY1,which might be involved in anthocyanin metabolism,carotenoid metabolism,and leaf morphogenesis,respectively.Among them,IbZEP1 and IbYABBY1 were first reported in sweetpotato.The variants in the promoter and the expression levels of IbZEP1 were significantly correlated with f lesh color(orange or not orange)in sweetpotato.The expression levels of IbYABBY1 were also correlated with leaf shape.These results will assist in genetic and breeding studies in sweetpotato.Shizhuo Xiao Xibin Dai Lingxiao Zhao Zhilin Zhou Lukuan Zhao Pan Xu Bingqian Gao An Zhang Donglan Zhao Rui Yuan Yao Wang Jie Wang Qinglian Li Qinghe Cao 2023Horticulture Research2023,10,1:1

20Green‑Solvent Processed Blade‑Coating Organic Solar Cells with an Efficiency Approaching 19%Enabled by Alkyl‑Tailored Acceptors显示文摘Power-conversion-efficiencies(PCEs)of organic solar cells(OSCs)in laboratory,normally processed by spin-coating technology with toxic halogenated solvents,have reached over 19%.However,there is usually a marked PCE drop when the bladecoating and/or green-solvents toward large-scale printing are used instead,which hampers the practical development of OSCs.Here,a new series of N-alkyl-tailored small molecule acceptors named YR-SeNF with a same molecular main backbone are developed by combining selenium-fused central-core and naphthalene-fused endgroup.Thanks to the N-alkyl engineering,NIR-absorbing YR-SeNF series show different crystallinity,packing patterns,and miscibility with polymeric donor.The studies exhibit that the molecular packing,crystallinity,and vertical distribution of active layer morphologies are well optimized by introducing newly designed guest acceptor associated with tailored N-alkyl chains,providing the improved charge transfer dynamics and stability for the PM6:L8-BO:YRSeNF-based OSCs.As a result,a record-high PCE approaching 19%is achieved in the blade-coating OSCs fabricated from a greensolvent o-xylene with high-boiling point.Notably,ternary OSCs offer robust operating stability under maximum-power-point tracking and well-keep>80%of the initial PCEs for even over 400 h.Our alkyl-tailored guest acceptor strategy provides a unique approach to develop green-solvent and blade-coating processed high-efficiency and operating stable OSCs,which paves a way for industrial development.Hairui Bai Ruijie Ma Wenyan Su Top Archie Dela Pea Tengfei Li Lingxiao Tang Jie Yang Bin Hu Yilin Wang Zhaozhao Bi Yueling Su Qi Wei Qiang Wu Yuwei Duan Yuxiang Li Jiaying Wu Zicheng Ding Xunfan Liao Yinjuan Huang Chao Gao Guanghao Lu Mingjie Li Weiguo Zhu Gang Li Qunping Fan Wei Ma 2023Nano-Micro Letters2023,15,12:1
