1Flight safety oriented ice shape modulation using distributed plasma actuator units显示文摘Ice accretion on the wings seriously threatens the flight safety of an aircraft.From the perspectives of ensuring flight safety and saving power consumption,the ice shape modulation method using distributed plasma is proposed.Distributed plasma actuator units are designed to modulate the spanwise continuous ice at the leading edge into periodically segmented ice pieces,forming a wavy leading edge.Both airfoil and scaled aircraft model,with continuous and modulated ice,are experimentally investigated and simulated.Compared with the continuous ice,ice shape modulation can significantly improve the aerodynamic performance,flight control characteristics and flight safety.This method can save about half electric power,which is very beneficial for application.Yun WU Biao WEI Hua LIANG Like XIE Zhe LI Yinghong LI 2021Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2021,34,10:5
2Cell viability and dopamine secretion of 6-hydroxydopamine-treated PC12 cells co-cultured with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells显示文摘In the present study, PC12 cells induced by 6-hydroxydopamine as a model of Parkinson's Disease, were used to investigate the protective effects of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells against 6-hydroxydopamine-induced neurotoxicity and to verify whether the mechanism of action relates to abnormal α-synuclein accumulation in cells. Results showed that co-culture with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells enhanced PC12 cell viability and dopamine secretion in a cell dose-dependent manner. MitoLight staining was used to confirm that PC12 cells co-cultured with bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells demonstrate reduced levels of cell apoptosis. Immunocytochemistry and western blot analysis found the quantity of α-synuclein accumulation was significantly reduced in PC12 cell and bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cell co-cultures. 3Application of sodium alginate microspheres in ischemic stroke modeling in miniature pigs显示文摘The miniature pig is an optimal animal model for studying nervous system disease because of its physiologic and pathologic features. However, the rete mirabile composed of arteries and veins at the skull base limits their application as a model of ischemic stroke by middle cerebral artery occlusion. The present study investigated the possibility of establishing an ischemic stroke model in the miniature pig by blocking the skull base retia with sodium alginate microspheres. Three Bama miniature pigs were used. Using the monitor of C-arm X-ray machine, sodium alginate microspheres (100-300 μm), a novel embolic material, were injected through the femoral artery, aortic arch, common carotid artery, ascending pharyngeal artery and the retia. Results were evaluated using carotid arteriography, MRI, behavior observation and histology. The unilateral rete mirabile was completely blocked, resulting in disturbance in blood supply to the basal ganglia, astasia of the right hind limb and salivation. MRI and hematoxylin-eosin staining showed an evident infarction focus in the basal ganglia. 4Improving aircraft aerodynamic performance with bionic wing obtained by ice shape modulation显示文摘For Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)with limited electrical power to achieve effectively anti-/de-icing at the leading edge of the wing,a strategy of ice shape modulation was proposed.Isolated simulated ice shape pieces printed by 3D printing technology are mounted on a NACA0012 finite wing model,and its lift/drag coefficients and suction-side velocity fields are measured by the six-component force balance and the Particle Imaging Velocimetry(PIV),respectively.The ratio of the spanwise length of a single ice shape piece to chord length and the spanwise length of the non-icing area between the two adjacent single ice shape pieces are defined as dimensionless ice shape length(w/c)and dimensionless modulation ratio(w/λ),respectively.The results indicate that for a fixed w/λ,the wing lift coefficient first increases and then drops with increasing w/c,and a peak value exists when w/c is between 0.1 and 0.2.The lower the w/λis,the higher the wing lift coefficient will be.The periodical variation of the flow separation area along the spanwise direction is attributed on the one hand to the acceleration effect of the flow field in the non-icing area which reduces the separation area,and on the other hand to the cross-flow caused by the streamwise vortices from the non-icing area to the icing area which promotes the mixing of the flow field(similar to vortex generators).The obtained modulation law is verified through flight tests and provides guidance for the use of ice shape modulation scheme for UAVs that cannot be completely anti-/deicing under severe weather conditions.Like XIE Hua LIANG Haohua ZONG Yun WU Yinghong LI Zhi SU Xuecheng LIU 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,2:1

10The advantages of penehyclidine hydrochloride over atropine in acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning:A meta-analysis显示文摘Background:Penehyclidine hydrochloride(PHC)has been used for many years as an anticholinergic drug for the treatment of acute organophosphorus pesticide poisoning(AOPP).The purpose of this meta-analysis was to explore whether PHC has advantages over atropine in the use of anticholinergic drugs in AOPP.Methods:We searched Scopus,Embase,Cochrane,PubMed,ProQuest,Ovid,Web of Science,China Science and Technology Journal Database(VIP),Duxiu,Chinese Biomedical literature(CBM),WanFang,and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),from inception to March 2022.After all qualified randomized controlled trials(RCTs)were included,we conducted quality evaluation,data extraction,and statistical analysis.Statistics using risk ratios(RR),weighted mean difference(WMD),and standard mean difference(SMD).Results:Our meta-analysis included 20,797 subjects from 240 studies across 242 different hospitals in China.Compared with the atropine group,the PHC group showed decreased mortality rate(RR=0.20,95%confidence intervals[CI]:0.16–0.25,P<0.001),hospitalization time(WMD=-3.89,95%CI:-4.37 to-3.41,P<0.001),overall incidence rate of complications(RR=0.35,95%CI:0.28–0.43,P<0.001),overall incidence of adverse reactions(RR=0.19,95%CI:0.17–0.22,P<0.001),total symptom disappearance time(SMD=-2.13,95%CI:-2.35 to-1.90,P<0.001),time for cholinesterase activity to return to normal value 50–60%(SMD=-1.87,95%CI:-2.03 to-1.70,P<0.001),coma time(WMD=-5.57,95%CI:-7.20 to-3.95,P<0.001),and mechanical ventilation time(WMD=-2.16,95%CI:-2.79 to-1.53,P<0.001).Conclusion:PHC has several advantages over atropine as an anticholinergic drug in AOPP.Siyao Zeng Lei Ma Lishan Yang Xiaodong Hu Cheng Wang Xinxin Guo Yi Li Yi Gou Yao Zhang Shengming Li Shaotong Zhang Xiaoxuan Wu Meihong Li Jing Lei Bingqian Li Chengfei Bi Like Ma Qingpeng Luo 2023Journal of Intensive Medicine2023,3,2:0
