1The Toxic Mechanism of High Lethality of Herbicide Butachlor in Marine Flatfish Flounder,Paralichthys olivaceus显示文摘The toxic mechanism of herbicide butachlor to induce extremely high lethality in marine flatfish flounder,Paralichthys Olivaceus,was analyzed by histopathological examination,antioxidant enzymes activities and ATP content assay.Histopathological examination of gill,liver and kidney of exposed fishes showed that gill was a target organ of butachlor.The butachlor seriously impaired the respiration of gills by a series of lesions such as edema,lifting and detachment of lamellar epithelium,breakdown of pillar cells,and blood congestion.The dysfunction of gill respiration caused suffocation to the exposed flounder with extremely high acute lethality.Antioxidant enzyme activity assay of the in vitro cultured flounder gill(FG) cells exposed to butachlor indicated that butachlor markedly inhibited the antioxidant enzyme activities of Superoxide dismutase(SOD),catalase(CAT) and glutathione peroxidase(GPX).Furthermore,along with the decline of antioxidant enzyme activities,ATP content in the exposed FG cells decreased,too.This infers that the oxidative stress induced by butachlor can inhibit the production of cellular ATP.Similar decrease of ATP content was also observed in the exposed flounder gill tissues.Taken together,as in FG cells,butachlor possibly induced a short supply of ATP in pillar cells by inhibiting the antioxidant enzyme activities and then affecting the contractibility of the pillar cells,which in turn resulted in the blood congestion and suffocation of exposed flounder.GUO Huarong YIN Licheng ZHANG Shicui FENG Wenrong 2010Journal of Ocean University of China2010,9,3:8
2The transient fracture behavior for a functionally graded layered structure subjected to an in-plane impact load显示文摘The transient fracture behavior of a functionally graded layered structure subjected to an in-plane impact load is investigated. The studied structure is composed of two homogeneous layers and a functionally graded interlayer with a crack perpendicular to the boundaries. The impact load is applied on the face of the crack. Fourier transform and Laplace transform methods are used to formulate the present problem in terms of a singular integral equation in Laplace transform domain. 3A methodology to achieve the basis function for the expansion of sound speed profile显示文摘In order to evaluate the reliability and applicability of the Empirical Orthogonal Functions(EOFs)in the acoustic inversion of sound speed profile(SSP)and reduce EOF's dependence on the sample data,a methodology is proposed for the achievement of the basis functions for SSP's expansion.By analyzing the oceanographic dynamics which is the main cause of the SSP's variation,the basis functions are obtained naming the Hydrodynamic Normal Modes(HNMs).The HNM basis functions are almost the same as those derived from the EOF method,while HNMs has less dependence on the amount of the sample data.HNMs method has a physically meaningful interpretation,and it could give out the physical parameters which determine the basis functions for the expansion of SSP,and this makes it possible to analyze and evaluate the trustiness and applicability of EOFs.SONG Wenhua HU Tao GUO Shengming MA Li LU Licheng 2014Chinese Journal of Acoustics2014,33,3:2

7Performance analysis of source ranging by use of virtual receiver technique under different frequency bands显示文摘The traditional matched field processing localization need complicated computation to get the replica field and has high dependence on environment parameters and acoustic field model.To overcome the shortcoming,virtual receiver technique is used for source ranging.A virtual receiver is constructed by correlating the two signals of the guide source and the objective source received by a vertical line array.Then,the slope of the interference striation of the virtual field is estimated using relevant signal processing method.Combining with the waveguide invariant β,the range of the objective source is determined.Through the numerical simulations and data processing collected from the experiment carried out in the South China Sea in 2004,the virtual receiver technique for broadband source ranging under the slopebottom shallow water environment is discussed.As the frequency increases,the frequency bands should be broadened to obtain complete interference striation for good ranging results.In data processing,the receiving array spacing is too large to promise the orthogonality of the modes as the frequency increases and ranging results become worse.YAO Meijuan MA Li LU Licheng GUO Shengming 2015Chinese Journal of Acoustics2015,34,4:1

12Cloning, Expression and Characterization of Translationally Controlled Tumor Protein (TCTP) Gene from Flatfish Turbot (Scophthalmus maximus)显示文摘A full-length cDNA encoding translationally controlled tumor protein of marine flatfish turbot (Scophthalmus maximus), SmTCTP, was isolated with rapid amplification of cDNA Ends (RACE). SmTCTP consisted of a 5’ untranslated region (UTR) of 84 bp, a 3’ UTR of 451 bp and an open reading frame (ORF) of 513 bp, encoding a protein of 170 amino acid residues, which contained two signature sequences of TCTP family. The 5’UTR of SmTCTP started with a 5’-terminal oligopyrimidine tract (5’-TOP), a typical feature for translationally controlled mRNAs. The deduced amino acid sequence of SmTCTP was similar to the other known verte- brate TCTPs in a range of 58.8% to 64.1%. The length of fish TCTPs was diverse among species, e.g., TCTP of turbot and sea perch (Lateolabrax japonicus) is 170 aa in length, while that of zebrafish (Danio rerio) and rohu (Labeo rohita) is 171 aa in length. North- ern blot analysis revealed that SmTCTP has only one type of mRNA. Its expression level in albino skin was slightly higher than that in normal skin. We constructed the pET30a-SmTCTP expression plasmid. The recombinant protein of His-tag SmTCTP was over-expressed in E. coli, purified and identified with peptide mass fingerprinting. 15Performance evaluation of a bubble generator and a bubble separator designed for the gas removal system of a small thorium molten salt reactor显示文摘In the present study, a bubble generator and a bubble separator were designed and evaluated for an independent off-gas removal system of a small thorium molten salt reactor(TMSR) with reference to the design of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory(ONRL). The bubble generator employed a Venturi tube as its main body owing to its simplicity and highly reliable structure. A centrifugal separator was used as the bubble separator, taking advantage of the kinetic energy of fluid to create a centrifugal force to separate gas bubbles from the mixture flow. Both the bubble generator and the separator were demonstrated to have good potential to meet the performance requirements of an off-gas removal system for a small TMSR. 17Online estimation of SOH for lithium-ion battery based on SSA-Elman neural network显示文摘The estimation of state of health(SOH)of a lithium-ion battery(LIB)is of great significance to system safety and economic development.This paper proposes a SOH estimation method based on the SSA-Elman model for the first time.To improve the correlation rates between features and battery capacity,a method combining median absolute deviation filtering and Savitzky-Golay filtering is proposed to process the data.Based on the aging characteristics of the LIB,five features with correlation rates above 0.99 after data processing are then proposed.Addressing the defects of the Elman model,the sparrow search algorithm(SSA)is used to optimize the network parameters.In addition,a data incremental update mechanism is added to improve the generalization of the SSA-Elman model.Finally,the performance of the proposed model is verified based on NASA dataset,and the outputs of the Elman,LSTM and SSA-Elman models are compared.The results show that the proposed method can accurately estimate the SOH,with the root mean square error(RMSE)being as low as 0.0024 and the mean absolute percentage error(MAPE)being as low as 0.25%.In addition,RMSE does not exceed 0.0224 and MAPE does not exceed 2.21%in high temperature and low temperature verifications.Yu Guo Dongfang Yang Yang Zhang Licheng Wang Kai Wang 2022Protection and Control of Modern Power Systems2022,7,1:1
18Necessity of structural rearrangements for O-O bond formation between O5 and W2 in photosystemⅡ显示文摘Numerous aspects of the water oxidation mechanism in photosystemⅡhave not been fully elucidated,especially the O-O bond formation pathway.However,a body of experimental evidences have identified the O5 and W2 ligands of the oxygen-evolving complex as the highly probable substrate candidates.In this work,we studied O-O bond formation between O5 and W2 based on the native Mn4 Ca cluster by density functional calculations.Structural rearrangements before the formation of the S_(4) state were found as a prerequisite for O-O bond formation between O5 and W2,regardless if the suggested pathways involving the typical Mnl(Ⅳ)-O·species or the recently proposed Mn4(Ⅶ)(O)2 species.Possible alternatives for the S2→S_(3) and S_(3)→S_(4) transitions accounting for such required rearrangements are discussed.These findings reflect that the structural flexibility of the Mn4 Ca cluster is essential to allow structural rearrangements during the catalytic cycle.Yu Guo Biaobiao Zhang Lars Kloo Licheng Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:0
19A crosslinked polymer as dopant-free hole-transport material for efficient n-i-p type perovskite solar cells显示文摘A new crosslinked polymer,called P65,with appropriate photo-electrochemical,opto-electronic,and thermal properties,has been designed and synthesized as an efficient,dopant-free,hole-transport material(HTM)for n-i-p type planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs).P65 is obtained from a low-cost and easily synthesized spiro[fluorene-9,90-xanthene]-30,60-diol(SFX-OH)-based monomer X65 through a freeradical polymerization reaction.The combination of a three-dimensional(3 D)SFX core unit,holetransport methoxydiphenylamine group,and crosslinked polyvinyl network provides P65 with good solubility and excellent film-forming properties.By employing P65 as a dopant-free hole-transport layer in conventional n-i-p type PSCs,a power conversion efficiency(PCE)of up to 17.7%is achieved.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first time a 3 D,crosslinked,polymeric dopant-free HTM has been reported for use in conventional n-i-p type PSCs.This study provides a new strategy for the future development of a 3 D crosslinked polymeric dopant-free HTM with a simple synthetic route and low-cost for commercial,large-scale applications in future PSCs.Linqin Wang Fuguo Zhang Tianqi Liu Wei Zhang Yuanyuan Li Bin Cai Lanlan He Yu Guo Xichuan Yang Bo Xu James M.Gardner Lars Kloo Licheng Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,4:0
20Trans-dimensional Bayesian geoacoustic inversion in shallow water显示文摘To deal with the inversion problem when the spatial structure of seaffoor sediments is unknown, a trans-dimensional particle filter method is proposed, where the cross-spectral density of the pressure field is used to estimate the sediment layering structure and geoacoustic parameters. The simulation results show that the number of sediment layers and geoacoustic parameters can be effectively estimated using the proposed method, and the parallel particle calculation makes this method more efficient than reversible jump Monte Carlo Markov chain(rjMCMC) sampling. A linear frequency-modulated signal received by a vertical line array in the South China Sea is processed using the proposed trans-dimensional particle filter. The inversion results of the sediment layers and geoacoustic parameters are similar to those acquired by rjMCMC inversion.
