1Hierarchical yolk-shell structured Li-rich cathode boosting cycling and voltage stabled LIBs显示文摘Despite the high energy density of lithium-rich(Li-rich)cathodes,their implementation is hampered by the unsatisfied rate capacity and poor cycling performance accompanied with substantial voltage decay.To address these issues,the hierarchical yolk-shell structured Li_(1.2)Mn_(0.54)Ni_(0.13)Co_(0.13)O_(2)cathodes(YK-LMNCO)was proposed and synthesized through a facile glycerol assisted solvothermal approach and the following lithiation process.Benefitting from the shortened lithium diffusion lengths and the enhanced tolerance to the large volume variation upon lithium ions intercalation/de-intercalation,the unique structure reciprocates an initial coulombic efficiency of 85.8%,an outstanding capacity retention rate of 89.1%after cycling at 2.0 C for 200 cycles with a minor voltage drop,and a capacity retention rate of 93.8%after cycling at 10.0 C for 500 cycles,85.2%for 1,000 cycles.When assembled with graphite as anode,the YK-LMNCO//graphite full cell shows a remarkable capacity retention rate of 87.2%after cycling at 5.0 C for 50 cycles.Our facile strategy for constructing the yolk-shell structured Li-rich cathodes with high capacity and voltage stability sheds light on synthesizing other lithium storage materials.Yanchen Liu Yafen Chen Jing Wang Wei Wang Zhiyu Ding Leyuan Li Yang Zhang Yida Deng JunweiWu Yanan Chen 2022Nano Research2022,15,4:3

14Introduction to bioimaging-based spatial multi-omic novel methods显示文摘Background: Spatial multi-omics are demonstrated to be a powerful method to assist researchers on genetic studies. In this review, bioimaging-based spatial multi-omics techniques such as seqFISH+, merFISH, integrated DNA seqFISH+, DNA merFISH, and MINA are introduced along with each technique’s probe design, development, and imaging processes.Results: seqFISH employed 4–5 fluorophores to barcode and conducted multiple rounds of hybridization, in order that mRNA can be identified through color-coding. seqFISH+ added 60 pseudo-color and distributed them equally into three channels to enhance imaging power, in order that i.e., 24,000 genes can be imaged in total. merFISH utilized 4 out 16 Hamming distance to innovatively provide a robust error-detecting method. MINA, a methodology combining merFISH (multiplexed error-robust fluorescence in situ hybridization) and chromosomal tracing, enabled multiplexed genomic architecture imaged in mammalian single cells. Optical reconstruction of chromatin architecture (ORCA) a method that could conduct DNA path tracing in nanoscale manner with kilobase resolution, an FISH variation that improved genetic resolution, enable high-precision fiducial registration and sequential imaging, and utilized Oligopaint probe to hybridize the short genomic region ranging from 2 to 10 kilobase. 17A cluster of mutagenesis revealed an osmotic regulatory role of the OsPIP1 genes in enhancing rice salt tolerance显示文摘Aquaporins play important regulatory roles in improving plant abiotic stress tolerance.To better understand whether the Os PIP1 genes collectively dominate the osmotic regulation in rice under salt stress,a cluster editing of the Os PIP1;1,Os PIP1;2 and Os PIP1;3 genes in rice was performed by CRISPR/Cas9 system.Sequencing showed that two mutants with Cas9-free,line 14 and line 18 were successfully edited.Briefly,line 14 deleted a single C base in both the Os PIP1;1 and Os PIP1;3 genes,and inserted a single T base in the Os PIP1;2 gene,respectively.While line 18 demonstrated an insertion of a single A base in the Os PIP1;1gene and a single T base in both the Os PIP1;2 and Os PIP1;3 genes,respectively.Multiplex editing of the Os PIP1 genes significantly inhibited photosynthetic rate and accumulation of compatible metabolites,but increased MDA contents and osmotic potentials in the mutants,thus delaying rice growth under salt stress.Functional loss of the Os PIP1 genes obviously suppressed the expressions of the Os PIP1,Os SOS1,Os CIPK24 and Os CBL4 genes,and increased the influxes of Na+and effluxes of K^(+)/H^(+)in the roots,thus accumulating more Na+in rice mutants under salt stress.This study suggests that the Os PIP1 genes are essential modulators collectively contributing to the enhancement of rice salt stress tolerance,and multiplex editing of the Os PIP1 genes provides insight into the osmotic regulation of the PIP genes.Leyuan Tao Bing Wang Shichao Xin Wei Li Shengcai Huang Laihua Liu Jing Cui Qianru Zhang Xianguo Cheng 2023The Crop Journal2023,11,4:0
