Applied Sequence Stratigraphy in Nonmarine Basin of China显示文摘This paper presents a preliminary summary of the applied sequence stratigraphy in nonmarine basins in China. The geological and geophysical data show that the nonmarine sequences mainly resulted from both allocyclic and autocyclic processes where the most important factors were isolated tectonics and climate. However, the environmental factor should have been crucial. The depositional base level served as the sea level in the marine environment, while the water table, lake level and fluvial equilibrium were profiled in a terrigenous environment. This accommodation varied periodically with the base level, resulting in the formation of a series of depositional sequences in terms of genesis and space. Basically, the base level of the inner continent was not affected by the changes in the relative sea level. But there would have been some relations between the changes in the relative sea level and that in the continental base level during eustacy flooding. However, a small time lag existed between the changes in the marine basin and the inner continent basin, The lake basin is smaller than the marine basin, but its velocity of sediment supply is greater than that of the marine basin. Therefore, the number of nonmarine sequences is greater than that of marine ones in the same period. It is important to recognize the system tracts for the study of high-precision or high-resolution sequence stratigraphy, especially to analyze the low-stand systems tract with its depositional system. The sequence boundary is genetically characterized by subaerial exposure, stratigraphic truncation and subaqueous erosion. The deposition analysis of Zhanhua depression reveals 5 sequence architectures: alluvial-fluvial/lacustrine architecture, transitional architecture formed between haline (mesohaline) lake and fresh lake, marine duration-deep lacustrine architecture, half deep lacustrine-ramp architecture and fluvial-alluvial plain architecture. During the major development of the nonmarine basin, the step-faulting breaks controlled the depositional system. Usually, the low-stand complex fan, prograding wedge and high-stand turbidity fan were close to the third stepping break. In the low-stand period, the sediments went around the incised valleys which then were filled with sand bar near the second stepping break. At the first stepping break the sediments were bypassed step by step or the alluvial fan was deposited with forced regressions in the low-stand time. The low-stand wedge may serve as favorable subtle or complex traps at the basin floor fan. The economic effectiveness is measured with the borehole in Bohai Bay basin. | Wei Kuisheng Li Daliang Zhang Shoupeng Hao Yunqing Department of Energy and Geology , China University of Geosciences , Beijing 100083 Du Zhenchuan Department of Energy Resomces and Geology , Hebei Technology University , Handan 056038 Zong Guoho | 2001 | Journal of China University of Geosciences2001,12,4: | 5
Precise temporal regulation of Dux is important for embryo development显示文摘Dear Editor,Zygotic genome activation(ZGA)following fertilization is accomplished through a process termed the maternal-to-zygotic transition, during which the maternal RNAs and proteins are degraded and zygotic genome is transcriptionally activated. In mice, minor ZGA occurs from S phase of the zygote to G1 phase of the two-cell(2C)embryo,while major ZGA takes place during the middle-to-late 2C stage with a burst of transcription of totipotent cleavage stage-specific genes and retrotransposons. | Mingyue Guo Yanping Zhang Jianfeng Zhou Yan Bi Junqin Xu Ce Xu Xiaochen Kou Yanhong Zhao Yanhe Li Zhifen Tu Kuisheng Liu Jiaming Lin Peng Yang Shaorong Gao Yixuan Wang | 2019 | Cell Research2019,29,11: | 5
Numerical Simulation of Three-dimensional Heat and Mass Transfer in Spray Cooling of Converter Gas in a Venturi Scrubber显示文摘In order to predict the pressure drop, collection efficiency, velocity, temperature and mole fraction of vapor in an industrial venturi scrubber with water spraying for converter gas cooling,a three-dimensional model of heat and mass transfer with phase change is established. The gas flow and liquid droplets are treated as a continuous phase with a Eulerian approach and as a discrete phase with a Lagrangian approach, respectively. The coupled problem of heat, force, and mass transfers between gas flow and liquid droplets is solved by a commercial computational fluid dynamics(CFD) package,FLUENT.The numerical results show that the water injections have an important influence on the distributions of pressure, velocity, temperature, and mole fraction of vapor, especially for the spraying region in the throat. In the spraying region, the pressure drop is higher and the velocity is lower than in other regions due to the gas-droplet drag, while the temperature is lower because the droplet absorbs large amounts of heat from the high temperature gas and the mole fraction of vapor is higher due to the phase change of the liquid droplet.A number of cases with different water-to-gas volume flow ratios and baffle openings were simulated. The dependence of pressure drop, velocity, temperature, mole fraction of vapor, and collection efficiency on both the water-to-gas volume flow ratio and baffle opening are analyzed. The good agreements between simulation results and experiment data of pressure drop, temperature, and collection efficiency validate the model. The model should facilitate optimization of the venturi scrubber design in order to give better performance with lower pressure drops and higher collection efficiency. | LU Tao WANG Kuisheng | 2009 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2009,22,5: | 3
Large-eddy Simulation of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in a Mixing Tee Junction显示文摘The temperature fluctuation caused by thermal striping phenomena of hot and cold fluids mixing results in cyclical thermal stress fatigue failure of the pipe wall. Mean temperature difference between hot and cold fluids was often used as thermal load in previous analysis of thermal fatigue failure, thereby the influences of the amplitude and frequency of temperature fluctuation on thermal fatigue failure were neglected. Based on the mechanism of flow and heat transfer which induces thermal fatigue, the turbulent mixing of hot and cold water in a tee junction is simulated with FLUENT platform by using the Large-eddy simulation(LES) turbulent flow model with the sub-grid scale(SGS) model of Smagorinsky-Lilly(SL) to capture the amplitude and frequency of temperature fluctuation. In a simulation case, hot water with temperature of 343.48 K and velocity of 0.15 m/s enters the horizontal main duct with the side length of 100 mm, while cold water with temperature of 296.78 K and velocity of 0.3 m/s enters the vertical branch duct with the side length of 50 mm. The numerical results show that the mean and fluctuating temperatures are in good agreement with the previous experimental data, which describes numerical simulation with high reliability and accuracy; the power spectrum density(PSD) on top wall is higher than that on bottom wall(as the frequency less than 1 Hz), while the PSD on bottom wall is relatively higher than that on top wall (as the frequency of 1-10Hz). The temperature fluctuations in full mixing region of the tee junction can be accurately captured by LES and can provide the theoretical basis for the thermal stress and thermal fatigue analyses. | LU Tao WANG Yongwei WANG Kuisheng | 2012 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2012,25,6: | 2
Fractal-based weak target detection within sea clutter显示文摘The target on the sea surface is complex and difficult to detect due to the interference of backscattered returns from the sea surface illuminated by the radar pulse. Detrended fluctuation analysis(DFA) has been used successfully to extract the time-domain Hurst exponent of sea-clutter series. Since the frequency of the sea clutter mainly concentrates around Doppler center so that we consider to extract frequency-domain fractal characterization and then detect a weak target within sea clutter by using the difference of frequency-domain fractal characterization. The generalized detrended fluctuation analysis(GDFA) is more flexible than traditional DFA owing to its smoothing action for the clutters. In this paper, we apply the GDFA to evaluate the generalized Hurst exponent of sea-clutter series in the frequency domain. The difference of generalized Hurst exponents between different sea-clutter range bins would be used to determine whether the target exists. Moreover, some simulations with the real IPIX radar data have also been demonstrated in order to support this conclusion. | LI Yang LV Xiaowen LIU Kuisheng ZHAO Shangzhuo | 2014 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2014,33,9: | 2

Spray and mixing characteristics of liquid jet in a tubular gas-liquid atomization mixer显示文摘For the design and optimization of a tubular gas-liquid atomization mixer, the atomization and mixing characteristics of liquid jet breakup in the limited tube space is a key problem. In this study, the primary breakup process of liquid jet columnwas analyzed by high-speed camera, then the droplet size and velocity distribution of atomized droplets were measured by Phase-Doppler anemometry(PDA).The hydrodynamic characteristics of gas flow in tubular gas-liquid atomization mixer were analyzed by computational fluid dynamics(CFD)numerical simulation. The results indicate that the liquid flow rate has little effect on the atomization droplet size and atomization pressure drop, and the gas flowrate is themain influence parameter.Under all experimental gas flowconditions, the liquid jet column undergoes a primary breakup process, forming larger liquid blocks and droplets. When the gas flow rate(Qg)is less than 127 m^(3)·h^(−1),the secondary breakup of large liquid blocks and droplets does not occur in venturi throat region. The Sauter mean diameter(SMD)of droplets measured at the outlet is more than 140μm,and the distribution is uneven. When Qg>127 m^(3)·h^(−1),the large liquid blocks and droplets have secondary breakup process at the throat region. The SMD of droplets measured at the outlet is less than 140μm,and the distribution is uniform. When 127 | Lingzhen Kong Jiaqing Chen Tian Lan Huan Sun Kuisheng Wang | 2021 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,6: | 1

Study on Dielectric Resonator Antenna with Annular Patch for High Gain and Large Bandwidth显示文摘A new high-gain cylindrical Dielectric resonator antenna(DRA) with a large bandwidth is proposed.A cylindrical Dielectric resonator(DR), a double-annular patch and a metallic cylinder are used to obtain a large bandwidth and a high gain. The mode TM12 excited in the patch is used to enhance the gain of the DRA, and the cavity formed by the metallic cylinder provides a further higher gain and a larger bandwidth. The measured results demonstrate that the proposed DRA achieves a large bandwidth of 23% from 5.3 to 6.8GHz with VSWR less than two and a high gain around 11 dBi. | FENG Kuisheng LI Na MENG Qingwei WANG Yongfeng ZHANG Jingwei | 2015 | Chinese Journal of Electronics2015,24,4: | 1

Expression of tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis inducing ligand receptor in glioblastoma显示文摘BACKGROUND: Receptors for tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL) include death receptor 4, death receptor 5, decoy receptor 1, and decoy receptor 2. Activation of death receptor 4 and 5 selectively kills tumor cells. OBJECTIVE: To detect TRAIL receptor expression in glioblastoma by immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR, and to compare this expression to that in normal brain tissue. DESIGN: Observational analysis. SETTING: Department of Pathology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University; Henan Tumor Pathology Key Laboratory. PARTICIPANTS: Twenty-five patients (17 males and 8 females) who received glioblastoma resection were selected from the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, between September 2003 to June 2004. All glioblastoma samples were diagnosed pathologically. Twenty patients (12 males and 8 females) with craniocerebral injury who received normal brain tissue resection were selected in the same time period. There were no significant differences in sex and age between glioblastoma patients or between craniocerebral injury patients (P > 0.05). All patients and appropriate relatives provided informed consent, and this study was approved by the local research ethics committee. METHODS: Polyclonal antibody against TRAIL receptors and an immunohistochemical kit (batch number: 200502) were purchased from Boster Company, Wuhan. Immunohistochemistry: Expression of death receptor 4, death receptor 5, decoy receptor 1, and decoy receptor 2 were observed in both glioblastoma and normal brain tissue. The experiment was performed according to the kit instructions, and positive staining was brown-yellow. Assessment: There were no positive signals (–); weakly positive signals, positive cells < 25% (+); weakly positive signals, positive cells 25%–50% (++); strongly positive signals, positive cells 50%–75% (+++); strongly positive signals, positive cells > 75% (++++). Evaluation: Expression levels of TRAIL receptors were estimated in both normal brain tissue and glioblastoma. Expression of decoy receptor 1 and decoy receptor 2 mRNA in glioblastoma were detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, and expression of decoy receptor in glioblastoma was estimated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparison of death receptor and decoy receptor protein expression between glioblastoma and normal brain tissue; decoy receptor mRNA expression in glioblastoma. RESULTS: Death receptor protein expression was strongly positive (+++) in glioblastoma, while it was weakly positive (+, ++) in normal brain tissue. Therefore, expression rate of death receptor protein in the glioblastoma was significantly higher than that in the normal brain tissue (χ2 = 18.48, 23.03, P < 0.01). Decoy receptor protein expression in the glioblastoma was significantly lower than that in the normal brain tissue (χ2 = 6.65, 18.76, P < 0.01). The level of decoy receptor mRNA expression in glioblastoma was significantly higher than those of protein expression (χ2 = 9.82, 10.09, P < 0.01). CONCLUSION: High expression of death receptor and low expression of decoy receptor are frequently observed in glioblastoma, suggesting that TRAIL receptor genes show an anti-tumor and expressive response during the initiation and development of the tumor. There are significant differences in decoy receptor expression between normal brain tissue and glioblastoma, suggesting that the restricted expression of decoy receptor in glioblastoma is regulated at the post-transcriptional level. | Dongling Gao Zhongwei Zhao Hongxin Zhang Lan Zhang Kuisheng Chen Yunhan Zhang | 2008 | Neural Regeneration Research2008,3,5: | 0
