Corrosion Behavior of 316L Stainless Steels Exposed to Salt Lake Atmosphere of Western China for 8 years显示文摘The evolution of corrosion behavior of 316 L stainless steels exposed to salt lake atmosphere for 8 years was investigated. The results showed that the stainless steel in salt lake atmosphere had a greater corrosion rate during the initial exposure time and relatively lower corrosion rate during the subsequent exposure time.Dust depositions accumulated on the downward surface caused severe local corrosion of stainless steel. As exposure time prolonged, the relative amount of Croxide and Feoxidein the corrosion products gradually increased, which may directly affect the corrosion rate of stainless steels. Moreover, the maximum pit depth followed a power function with respect to exposure time. | Mingxiao Guo Junrong Tang Tianzhen Gu Can Peng Qiaoxia Li Chen Pan Zhenyao Wang | 2021 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2021,34,4: | 3
Microstructure and bioactivity of a cold sprayed rough/porous Ta coating on Ti6Al4V substrate显示文摘To improve the bioactivity and biocompatibility of titanium implants,a rough/porous tantalum(Ta)coating was firstly prepared on Ti6Al4V substrate by cold spraying. The results indicated that the surface of Ta coating is extremely rough with lots of visible holes, because of poor deposition quality.Microstructure and microhardness results showed that different layers appeared in the inner and outer parts of coatings, corresponding to porosity, due to lack of subsequent compaction. The simulated body fluid(SBF)soaking test showed that spherical apatite sediments were mineralized on rough/porous surface in SBF after 2–4 weeks, which demonstrated that the cold sprayed Ta coating had good bioactivity. This was mainly attributed to the rough/porous surface of Ta coating obtained by cold spraying, which is conducive to the heterogeneous nucleation of apatite on it. | TANG JunRong ZHAO ZhiPo CUI XinYu WANG JiQiang XIONG TianYing | 2020 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2020,63,5: | 3

Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Ti–Ta Composites Prepared Through Cold Spray Additive Manufacturing显示文摘In this study, an innovative approach was used to fabricate Ti–Ta composite biomaterials through cold spray additive manufacturing followed by a diff usion treatment. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated in detail using field emission scanning electron microscopy, electron backscatter diff raction, 3D X-ray computed tomography, tensile test, nanohardness test and resonance vibration test. The obtained results indicated that the prepared composites have inhomogeneity in their microstructure and composition. A unique microstructure, composed of Ti-rich, Ta-rich and diff usion regions, was evolved in the composites due to incomplete diff usion between Ti and Ta splats. Further, Kirkendall pores were formed in the composites due to uneven diff usion of the two phases(of Ti and Ta) during high-temperature heat treatment. The prepared composites simultaneously showed low elastic modulus and high tensile strength which is required for a good biomaterial. Low elastic modulus was associated with the residual pores and the alloying eff ect of Ta in Ti, while high tensile strength was related to the solid solution strengthening eff ects. The obtained results indicated that the prepared Ti–Ta composites have a great potential to become a new candidate for biomedical applications. | Junrong Tang Naeem ul Haq Tariq Zhipo Zhao Mingxiao Guo Hanhui Liu Yupeng Ren Xinyu Cui Yanfang Shen Jiqiang Wang Tianying Xiong | 2022 | Acta Metallurgica Sinica(English Letters)2022,35,9: | 1

The Identification of Phenylalanine Ammonia-Lyase(PAL)Genes from Pinus yunnanensis and an Analysis of Enzyme Activity in vitro显示文摘Phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)is the rate-limiting and pivotal enzyme of the general phenylpropanoid path-way,but few reports have been found on PAL genes in Pinus yunnanensis. In the present study, three PAL genes were cloned and identified from P.yunnanensis seedlings for thefirst time,namely,PyPAL-1,PyPAL-2,and PyPAL-3.Our results indicated that the open-reading frames of PyPAL genes were 2184,2157,and 2385 bp.Phylogenetic tree analysis revealed that PyPALs have high homology with other known PAL genes in other plants. In vitro enzymatic analysis showed that all three PyPAL recombinant proteins could catalyze the deamination of L-phenylalanine to form trans-cinnamic acid, but only PAL1 and PAL2 can catalyze the conversion of L-tyrosine toρ-coumaric acid.Three PyPAL genes were expressed in different tissues in 1-year-old P.yunnanensis, and such genes had different expression patterns. This study lays a foundation for further understanding of the biosynthesis of secondary metabolites in P.yunnanensis. | Dejin Mu Lin Chen Heze Wang Zhaoliu Hu Sihui Chen Shi Chen Nianhui Cai Yulan Xu Junrong Tang | 2024 | Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2024,93,3: | 0
Unique three-component co-assembly among AIEgen,L-GSH,and Ag^(+)for the formation of helical nanowires显示文摘Nature has selected, produced, and evolved numerous molecular architectural motifs over billions of years for particular bio-functions.During this process, molecular self-assembly plays a critically important role.Inspired by these delicate assemblies, scientists devote themselves to developing various sophisticated complexes assembled by diverse and numerous structural motifs.By far, most of the examples focus on single-molecule self-assembly or co-assembly between two molecules, seldom works report the co-assembly among three building blocks due to the substantially increased complexity and decreased controllability. Here we report a novel three-component co-assembly among L-glutathione(L-GSH),AgNO_(3),and an aggregation-induced emission luminogen(AIEgen),namely triphenylamine-pyridinium(abbreviated to TPA-Py).TPA-Py,L-GSH,and Ag^(+)co-assemble into numerous long and ordered nanowires with left-handed helices, which show remarkable AIE properties that can be observed by naked eyes. This effect is only detected in this system, the replacement of TPA-Py with other AIEgens,L-GSH with other cysteine derivatives or anions,Ag^(+)with other metal ions, could not lead to the unique AIE effect, which endows this system with high specificity and controllability. This work provides new insight into the design of biomolecule recognition systems and discloses that ternary co-assembly could become a facile route to build sophisticated nanobiomaterials. | Xiaohuan Huang Junrong Li Hong Tang Miao Guo Xue Wang Xiaorong Wang Xu Wang Mingliang Tang Fusheng Zhang Yahui Zhang Xiaopei Li Guangyan Qing | 2023 | Aggregate2023,4,2: | 0
Identification of Novel Bartonella washoensis Sequence Type 22 in Marmota himalayana-Jiuquan City,Gansu Province,China,2021–2022显示文摘Summary What is already known about this topic? The prevalence of rodent-adapted Bartonella species has been increasing significantly. However, the specific Bartonella species carried by Marmota himalayana(M.himalayana),a large rodent species, and the potential risk it poses to human populations remain unknown. What is added by this report?Bartonella washoensis(B.washoensis),associated with human endocarditis, was initially identified in M.himalayana, exhibiting a detection rate of approximately one-third and demonstrating a predilection for the heart and lungs. The discovery of the novel Sequence Type 22 has expanded both the isolation source and genetic lineage of B.washoensis.What are the implications for public health practice?Individuals residing within the M.himalayana plague focus are at an elevated risk for B.washoensis infection.Consequently, there is a pressing need for public health warnings and efficient clinical case identification in this population. | Ran Duan Xiaojin Zheng Qun Duan Asaiti Bukai Peng Zhang Shuai Qin Xinmin Lu Dongyue Lyu Haonan Han Dan Zhang Zhaokai He Junrong Liang Deming Tang Jinxiao Xi Huaiqi Jing Xin Wang | 2023 | China CDC weekly2023,5,20: | 0
Preparation,Characterization and Applications of Titanate/Titania Nanocrystals显示文摘The present paper focused on the preparation of hydrogen titanate nanotubes and nanowires and their conversion into titania by heat treatments. The structural, morphology and optical properties of as-prepared nanostructured titanate and titania were investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM),X-ray diffraction (XRD) and diffusive reflectance spectra. The slim diameter of these nanostructured titanate and titania, the versatile crystal structure and special optical and electronic properties may make them find versatile applications in chemical sensors for multiple purposes. | Junrong Li Zilong Tang Zhongtai Zhang Zhigang Zhou | 2006 | 稀有金属材料与工程2006,35,A03: | 0
