1Interpretation of breast cancer screening guideline for Chinese women显示文摘Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Chinese women.Early screening is the best way to improve the rates of early diagnosis and survival of breast cancer patients.The peak onset age for breast cancer in Chinese women is considerably younger than those in European and American women.It is imperative to develop breast cancer screening guideline that is suitable for Chinese women.By summarizing the current evidence on breast cancer screening in Chinese women,and referring to the latest guidelines and consensus on breast cancer screening in Europe,the United States,and East Asia,the China Anti-Cancer Association and National Clinical Research Center for Cancer(Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital)have formulated population-based guideline for breast cancer screening in Chinese women.The guideline provides recommendations on breast cancer screening for Chinese women at average or high risk of breast cancer according to the following three aspects:age of screening,screening methods,and screening interval.This article provides more detailed information to support the recommendations in this guideline and to provide more direction for current breast cancer screening practices in China.Yubei Huang Zhongsheng Tong Kexin Chen Ying Wang Peifang Liu Lin Gu Juntian Liu Jinpu Yu Fengju Song Wenhua Zhao Yehui Shi Hui Li Huaiyuan Xiao Xishan Hao 2019Cancer Biology & Medicine2019,16,4:10
2Benefit of everolimus as a monotherapy for a refractory breast cancer patient bearing multiple genetic mutations in the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway显示文摘A postmenopausal patient with a diagnosis of estrogen receptor(ER)(+), progesterone receptor(PR)(+), and human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)(-) breast cancer was reported. The patient refused surgery and was resistant to conventional chemotherapy regimens. Computed tomography and the circulating tumor cell test indicated that the patient's tumor burden increased rapidly even after several chemotherapy sessions. Multiple genetic aberrances in the phosphatidylinositol3-kinases(PI3 K) signaling pathway were detected via next-generation sequencing(NGS)-based liquid biopsy, including a p. G1007 R missense mutation in exon 21 of PIK3 CA(33.61%), a p.L70 fs frameshift mutation in exon 3 of phosphatase and tension homolog deleted on chromosome ten(PTEN)(49.14%), and a p. D1542 Y missense mutation in exon 32 of mammalian target of rapamycin(m TOR)(1.66%). Therefore, only the m TOR inhibitor everolimus was administered to the patient. Partial remission(PR) was observed after 2 months, and sustained stable disease(SD) was observed after a year and a half. Subsequent sequencing showed that the mutation ratio of PIK3 CA decreased to 4.17%, and that the PTEN and m TOR mutations disappeared, which revealed the significant curative effect of everolimus. We report the first case of successful monotherapy treatment using everolimus in a patient with advanced breast cancer bearing mutations in genes involved in the PI3 K/ARK/m TOR signaling pathway. 5China-France Oceanography Satellite (CFOSAT) simultaneously observes the typhoon-induced wind and wave fields显示文摘The China-France oceanography satellite(CFOSAT)developed by the China National Space Administration(CNSA)and Centre National D’Etudes Spatiales(CNES)was successfully launched into its orbit on October 29,2018.The Chinese wind scatterometer(SCAT)with swath width of about 1000 km and French wave spectrometer(Surface Wave Investigation and Monitoring,SWIM)with swath width of about 180 km onboard the CFOSAT are in line with all requirements and performing operationally.Thus,it is the first time that CFOSAT provides simultaneous and co-located observations of wind and wave fields with high spatial resolutions of 12.5 km×12.5 km for the winds and 70 km×90 km for the wave directional spectrum.The real-time and large-scale monitoring of wind and wave fields are of great significance for navigation and human activities on the sea(Xu et al.,2010;Tan et al.,2018;Sun et al.,2019),especially during severe typhoon processes when violent winds and hazardous waves occur(Walsh et al.,2002;Zhou et al.,2008).Ying Xu Jianqiang Liu Lingling Xie Congrong Sun Jinpu Liu Junyi Li Di Xian 2019Acta Oceanologica Sinica2019,38,11:5
6Discrete element simulations and experiments of soil-winged subsoiler interaction显示文摘Understanding soil disturbance behaviors under the impact of the winged subsoiler is critical for designing or optimizing the winged subsoiler(a primary subsoiling tool).In this study,a soil-winged subsoiler interaction model was developed and the effects of winged subsoiler on soil disturbance behaviors were investigated using the discrete element method(DEM)simulations and lab soil-bin tests.The results showed that wings mainly affected the disturbance range and fragmentation degree of soil above them.The draught forces of share section(SS),arc section in the hardpan(ASHP),arc section in the top layer(ASTL)and line section(LS)were accounted for 69.53%,25.22%,4.73%and 0.52%of the total draught force of winged subsoiler;the lateral disturbance range from high to low of the soil at different depths followed the ranking:top layer(TL),hardpan disturbed by arc section(HDAS)and hardpan disturbed by share section(HDSS).Wings had the greatest influence on the draught force of ASHP.Adding wings to an arc-shaped subsoiler increased the disturbance areas of HDAS,TL and HDSS by 47.52%,7.74%and 4.59%,respectively,but meanwhile increased the total draught force by 36%.Compared with a non-winged subsoiler,winged subsoiler had higher soil looseness(15.83%),soil disturbance coefficient(58.59%),furrow width(448.65 mm)and soil disturbance area ratio(0.3835),but poorer soil surface flatness(19.79 mm)and lower soil loosening efficiency(39.35 mm²/N).This study provided critical information for optimizing winged subsoilers on aspects of improving soil loosening effectiveness and reducing draught force.Xuezhen Wang Peng Li Jinpu He Wuquan Wei Yuxiang Huang 2021International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2021,14,1:3

12The prognostic landscape of genes and infiltrating immune cells in cytokine induced killer cell treated-lung squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma显示文摘Objective:Patients with non–small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)respond differently to cytokine-induced killer cell(CIK)treatment.Therefore,potential prognostic markers to identify patients who would benefit from CIK treatment must be elucidated.The current research aimed at identifying predictive prognostic markers for efficient CIK treatment of patients with NSCLC.Methods:Patients histologically diagnosed with NSCLC were enrolled from the Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital.We performed whole-exome sequencing(WES)on the tumor tissues and paired adjacent benign tissues collected from 50 patients with NSCLC,and RNA-seq on tumor tissues of 17 patients with NSCLC before CIK immunotherapy treatment.Multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression analysis was used to analyze the association between clinical parameters and prognostic relevance.WES and RNA-seq data between lung squamous cell carcinoma(SCC)and adenocarcinoma(Aden)were analyzed and compared.Results:The pathology subtype of lung cancer was the most significantly relevant clinical parameter associated with DFS,as analyzed by multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression(P=0.031).The patients with lung SCC showed better CIK treatment efficacy and extended DFS after CIK treatment.Relatively low expression of HLA class II genes and checkpoint molecules,and less immunosuppressive immune cell infiltration were identified in the patients with lung SCC.Conclusions:Coordinated suppression of the expression of HLA class II genes and checkpoint molecules,as well as less immune suppressive cell infiltration together contributed to the better CIK treatment efficacy in lung SCC than lung Aden.Jian Wang Fan Yang Qian Sun Ziqing Zeng Min Liu Wenwen Yu Peng Zhang Jinpu Yu Lili Yang Xinwei Zhang Xiubao Ren Feng Wei 2021Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,4:1

14Rapid response of brain metastasis to crizotinib in a patient with KLC1-ALK fusion and MET gene amplification positive non-small cell lung cancer:a case report显示文摘Non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) ranks as the leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. Brain metastasis(BM) is a common complication of NSCLC, with 25%–40% of patients developing BM during the course of the disease. A significant strategy of local disease control in the central nervous system is radiation therapy. With the development of precision medicine,the concept of treating lung cancer BM has gradually changed. In this case, we performed a surgical procedure to obtain enough tumor tissue for the detection of the target gene and other related experiments after the patient was informed. Finally, we found that the patient had both hepatocyte growth factor receptor(MET) gene amplification and kinesin light chain 1-anaplastic lymphoma kinase fusion(KLC1-ALK) through next-generation sequencing and showed sensitivity to the targeted therapy of crizotinib. The patient exhibited good response.
